i see them as the pinnacle of female friendship, both of them are lonely, isolated girls surrounded by perfect, manicured women, living in the most class conscious environment, with the only people who understand and love them being violent egotistical men.

they are just soft, gossipy and sweet. they paint over blood stained nails and plait each others hair before they go off on rampages. everything they do feels paradoxical, extreme sweetness to intense brutality, but it works for them. nagini is sharp and quite, alecto is chatty and sturdy. they are best friends, they have coffee dates and help pick outfits for each other, they are looked down on by others but looked up to by each other.
