new x men tv show

Halloooo !! , fellow lovers. I had a brainworm :-)

once upon a time, in an interview long ago, Stan Lee said, (i repeat in not so accurate words) ".... the secret to writing the x men was not to treat it like an action story but like a soap opera .... "

as far as i can see in my okayish memory, all the x-men intros show their powers in a brief action sequence with there code name showing up before/after said sequence. In my imagination, the intros proceed to show the main/side characters in their element or with their buddies, there by showing their relationships/goofier sides/ bits of personality. Less focus on cool power moves.

Ex: scott with his cereal/soup, professor x (charles xavier) playing chess, talking philosophy with magneto , logan and kurt doing mischief and pranking others with kitty pryde ( in her late teens or as a young adult) , hank and jean doing science shit and list goes on .

all the scenes shift around and about the x-mansion (maybe with a different cooler sounding name) with the character pairs in different rooms, giving the audience the layout with plenty of clues here and there for what could be happening in future episodes.

there will be plenty of kids as main/side characters also. i imagine that as we seen them, their names (real ones not code names) in a font they like with some jazz just beside/behind them

bits and pieces of the intro slightly change with progression in episodes showing the changes in their relationships

( **just personal preference, i don't imagine a jean-logan-scott poly ship or love triangle in this narrative, only scott-jean ship. )

the format of the show will be a hybrid of drama, action, love, friendship, a balance between high stakes and and feels

premises(sort of ?) - older members being teachers (ex: storm) [we actually get to see them teach their subjects], some being in IT support/ security (ex: forge) and youngest (ex: jubilee even magik or quentin quire maybe) being students

A plot- revolves around the various students and teachers: life/origin story, family, inter-personal relations

B plot- anti-mutant, time travel, religious bigot shit, simultaneously advancing the A plot

(as i type this out i do realize that what i just described does take inspo form x men evolution :-p )

au1: internet friends au

-no gods au, obvs

-Nico and Leo meet each other online, also obvs

-they start talking all the time and become closer and closer

-eventually, Nico gets the chance to travel to where Leo is so they arrange to meet

-Leo showed him around, it was very cute

au2: isolated

-canon au, I think it happened after TOA? but idk abt TSATS, maybe it never happened?

-they got like, sent to like, a different universe, or maybe it was a different version of their universe? it was hard to tell

-point was gods weren't there, so they were like regular people for their time there

-and Leo like, convinced Nico to make the most of it, and dragged him into a bunch of stupid shit

-but Nico eventually starts enjoying himself and does his own bit of dragging Leo into stupid shit

-just them being regular teens for a bit

-and in the process, obvs they got closer, but they also start really liking hanging out together

-and really liking each other

-I didn't see the drama of that, but I saw them like telling each other that they probably should break up their relationships

-and saw a scene where Percy got angry at Leo, and Nico had to intervene

-and Nico confronted Leo abt him not defending himself, and he said "I thought falling out of love wasn't a crime", and Leo was like "man, unfair, don't use my words against me"

-and eventually he told Percy that he couldn't stay with calypso bc that'd be unfair to both of them, cause Leo would be only staying out of pity

au3: deity au

-Nico was a god, idk of what, but def divine in some way

-it was set in a weird combo of old and new, possibly steampunk but I'm only basing it in the fact that Leo was an inventor

-he also did sculptures on the side, bc I think that's a cannon thing abt him? (there was a galatea au fic at one point and if any of you find it for me I'll love you forever)

-Nico becomes enamored with Leo, and so tries to get Leo to become his devoted

-Leo is oblivious to this at first but somehow ends up learning abt Nico by himself and it clicks

-this devolved into a totally different and not at all related dream, so I have nothing else for you

🤍Taejin x Jihan Couple Headcanons: Part 1🤍

Author’s Note: 🚨THIS IS A MLM PAIRING, AND IF YOU DONT LIKE MLM SHIPS, KEEP IT PUSHING🚨 AND THERE ARE SPOILERS FOR A FEW PLOTPOINTS This is the Redux of the previous Headcanon list I made for these two. My lovely moot @kawaiiwitchalpaca requested this so here it is. AU2: Okay so the timeline for this part is windows of time that we don't see Jihan working at the hospital so keep that in mind!

It doesn't take a genius to figure out that these two had an immediate attraction to each other. Like it was an instantaneous kind of connection, though I think that Jihan would pass it off as a normal amount of tension one would have when meeting someone who they know is shady.

Jihan is oblivious because he, rightfully, has the mission at the forefront of his mind. But Taejin is laying it on thick ass hell, like painfully thick.

Throughout their “shifts” as “first responders”, Taejin is an ever-present figure, looming over Jihan, stealing glances and making short quips about Jihan’s performance. Jihan tries to remain oblivious to these quips but, there are only so many times one could hear a sexual innuendo and not react. And react he does, though he [Jihan] tries his hardest to cover by turning his face away from the taller man. To Taejin, this is the most fun he’s had in a while at “work” (I guess beating innocent ppl gets boring after a while lolol). ‘It is too easy making the new guy flustered’, Taejin would note to himself internally after making a rather on-the-nose *pass* at Jihan, much to the other man’s dismay(excitement) 

Prior to this interaction, Jihan has been psyching himself up to ask the other man about his intention, and because Jihan’s not a bitch, he made a scene during their break to drag Taejin away from the group that surrounded him. This little stunt earned the two of them stares of pure confusion from one half of the group, and blatant amusement from the other half. Once they were properly secluded, Jihan spat it out, as leveled as he could possibly be, before Taejin got a word in:

“What is your deal with me? What are you…like that?”

“Like what?”, Taejin inquired, his voice trailing off with a mischievous drawl.

“Don’t play dumb”, Jihan huffed- he was failing at keeping his voice calm. It was hard to maintain his phony Seoul accent when tensions were high, and God they were high what with them being so close together behind the row of ambulances. 

“Why do you keep..hitting on me?”

There was an obviously fake laugh given in response, “You’re just now realizing that I’ve been flirting? God, you really are oblivious!”

The instant Jihan heard the taller man laugh, Jihan’s eyes looked onto Taejin’s smug expression, he[Jihan] sucked in air harshly before speaking: “I knew you were flirting for a while, I’m new here but I’m not dumb.”

Maintaining his placid amusement in the face of Jihan’s obvious exasperation, Taejin decided to make the other man wait for a response - even if momentarily. Just to fuck with him, Taejin retrieved both a cigarette and a lighter and lit the stick with languid movements, watching Jihan’s now narrowed eyes as he[Taejin] to a drag. 

“So what now? You got me. What are we going to do about this situation?”

“We?!-”, Jihan started before cutting himself off abruptly. He had to calm himself down if he wanted this to work.

In the days prior to this confrontation, Jihan had come to the conclusion that he could be involved with Taejin if that meant getting close to his goal of revenge. After running his plan by Daniel, and getting a weary go-ahead, Jihan knew what the goal was. There was no way that he would let himself lose sight of why he was in the 1st Affiliate.

“We can do something about this, actually. We can be whatever you want us to be, just keep it between us”, Jihan finally replied sounding a semi-believable level of calm. Witnessing Taejin’s instantaneous expression change lit a tiny spark within Jihan, it made him[Jihan] a bit vindicated. Taejin was cute when shaken up:

“Oh? Really now? Whatever I want us to be? Well thank you for giving me the reigns.”

Yeaaaa, this is gonna be split into two parts. This, of course, is the first part! Think of this as set up to the actual relationship headcanons that are in part two. Hope y’all like this. BYE🤍!!!

I know it’s been a while and I really didn’t want it to be this long, but here I am. A lot has happened in the last few weeks and, to summarize it all, it’s taken a lot out of me. I wanted to have everything done and be able to move onto the Hocus Pocus AU, but honestly, I haven’t even finished the halfway point of the final Camp Wanamaker chapter. I definitely still want to write it, but with October being halfway over already, it feels as though pushing it to next year might be the easiest option (though I would love nothing more than to jump into it right now haha). Anyway, I feel as though I should sort of explain why I’ve been so distant in everything, especially my writing, but it’s sort of taken a lot out of me to write it all out. I do apologize in advance for being sort of blunt; I haven’t really been taking the time to process my own emotions lately and it shows.

For starters, my grandma’s step-mom, my Great-Grammy Donna, passed away. At 94 years old, she was still doing fairly well health-wise and keeping things as interesting as possible. She was creative, always spoke her mind, and, although we weren’t technically blood relatives, I felt just as close to her as everyone else. Her house was home to everyone and she made sure that you never left her house hungry or wanting for anything. She always loved it when my mom and I visited and promised to one day teach me how to make proper Polish food, though we never got the chance. Honestly, she partially inspired me to write Vivien’s Nonna Dawn and I made their personalities fairly similar, which made it really hard to think about writing her character at all lately.

On top of that, my car was having some pretty serious - and rather expensive - issues. In total, I would have had to pay at least 3 grand out of pocket to get it all fixed. Due to being from a family full of mechanics, I managed to find a quick fix for some of it, but the car needs to be road-worthy by the end of November and I don’t have the money for it all right now, so it looks as though I’ll have to just bite the bullet and buy a used car before then. I’m holding out hope that something road-worthy will come along soon, but until then, I’ve at least got my old minivan.

Now, I’ve been working on seeing the good in things lately and one of the few bits of good news I have right now, is that my mom and I have been working out more to get ourselves out of depression. It’s been working pretty well so far. I’ve lost almost 30 pounds and dropped a size, which feels great. As I am pretty tall, my weight is more evenly distributed, but I’m still hoping to be down to my goal weight by my birthday, if not sooner. It’ll be a lot of work, but I’m determined and it’s helping me get into a better head space, which is a bonus, if you ask me.

Anyway, I’m hoping to finish the chapter soon and, if I feel up to it, maybe work on the Hocus Pocus AU. I am still determined to finish this last chapter, but I’m definitely ready to move on as I really want to get into the storylines I’ve been practically dangling in front of my face like a carrot. It might take me a while as I work through things, but I want to make sure I take my time and have things come out the way I would like them to. I don’t want to half-ass anything or give you a cruddy chapter! So, yeah, that’s where I’m at with everything and I hope to get back to writing/posting more soon!

In the meantime, I’ve made my Pinterest boards for Melaka Mystica (Hocus Pocus AU) and True Colors (The Last Of Us AU2) available. There may be other boards making appearances sooner or later as I try to figure out what to write next, but for now, that’s all I’ve got for you. I hope you enjoy them at least a little!

i planned a tmnt au, and then i made an au of that au (au2), and then i wrote the first chapter of the au2 before writing the original au despite it being entirely planned and the au2 is not planned at all and i have no clue where it will go

i also have been struggling to make art with my very limited skills and materials. i have Paint and that is it... Paint can burn in hell its so shit. I need a layering tool -unforunate that I have no clue what I'm doing and havent drawn anything other than a few sketches since GCSE Art (many years ago)

REM is my main Tenno OC, the blue one with half their face missing (pictured here). Their main frame is Volt (Thales helmet, Electrolyst skin, Envine Signa, white/black/blue colour scheme).

Tei is the drifter version of Rem. Tei presents very differently outside of Duviri, however, both the land of dreams and the system of origin present shackles. Mag was the first Warframe Tei took on.

Imperator Thrax is the monarch to whom Duviri is bent by will. Tzipporah is the twisted reflection of Tei, a courtier that exists to be a caricature of deep wounds.

(AU) Tiamat is the Great Sentient Gyne, the melding of rogue machines and what is anathema to them. She is guarded by The Heron, her noble Volt, an Archon before Archons were added to the game.

(AU2) Temperance is the acolyte who wears Gyre's skin, wielding the bladed Atterax. The head of her once-beloved Volt rests on her hip. This twisted reflection has forsaken the Lotus' guidance, perhaps due to the loss of her closest companion...

Actually I have two AU with Calthar:

In the first AU, he is more of an archer than a magician. And in the second, he is more a magician than an archer. And I also like the second universe more simply because of the teachers' vibes. I am studying to be a teacher and worked at a school for a while. I like how the teacher's hate each other, and then they go to have tea together and joke jokes among themselves. Everyone doesn't like Ancano, but then they all drink wine tea together. Ancano is also a teacher by profession, because teachers are appreciated at Summerset. I like to think about all this, College of Winterhold holds a special place in my heart. And I just love Ancano.... -I'm using a translator
