About Deku not getting as much recognition as the others by the people and why he seems so composed about anything ( this can change the next chapters), Horikoshi wrote this comment about "Deku" back in his Dark Hero arc:

An extra note of the poem related to Deku:

was presumed the spirit of the Lotus Sutra’s Sadaparibu Bodhisattva." (*)

A bit about the Lotus Sutra (this is of course a simplification):

"The Lotus Sutra teaches that all people can attain Buddhahood, just as they are, in this lifetime. A person only needs to follow the bodhisattva path: taking compassionate action for others, based on the recognition that true happiness for yourself is impossible while others suffer. Studying and teaching others about the Lotus Sutra makes sure that the sutra will be transmitted into the future, contributing to the peace and happiness of all for generations to come." (**)

Izuku's character is inspired by a poem based in a current/teaching of Buddhism, and I get its too complex for a manga like this, but at the same time, I really REALLY wish Horikoshi would had go deeper into this concept because we all would understand Izuku's character better.

As I said at the beginning, maybe in the few remaining chapters of the manga, it will be shown that Izuku is recognized somehow, but he will probably never be recognized at the level of others because his character represents the pure ideal of the hero.

Dabi

Dabi was walking through the streets of Japan, well the streets where all the villains walk through. Its was January. The fresh snow crunched beneath his feet as he felt the cold snowflakes fall upon his skin. he used to hate how cold the snow felt but It was an odd feeling he began to grow fond of due to how it contrasts with how hot his body feels when he uses his quirk. During these moments he thinks and envy’s the life he could’ve had, how he could’ve been enjoying the snow with his parents and siblings, walking through the local Christmas market while laughing and having fun but then when the snow turns to rain he’s reminded about how he’ll never get that life all because of his father.

His phone starts to vibrate, he sees it’s just shigaraki calling him. He scoffs and doesn’t answer and stuffs his phone back in his pocket, continuing his depressing walk in the snow. He’s not worried about getting introuble with shigaraki since he never actually really cared and shigaraki knows that so he’ll just send a paragraph explaining what he was gonna say on the call anyway. As he continues his walk he spots a small doctors office, he remembers toga trying to find some different types of needles to pierce different mutants skins to gain access to their blood easier and quicker “hmm” he debates going in and after a few seconds he does. He pushes the door open and barges into the room the doctor is in “give me those needles” he demands and when he sees the doctor hesitate he activated his quirk, a silent threat now in the air as he stares the doctor down…. After a couple minutes Dabi walks out of the doctors office with 3 needle’s specially made to pierce the toughest of skin mutants can develop.

After about 3 more hours of walking he decided to head back to the L.O.V’S base growing tired of the dull, cold weather. He takes the same path back, looking at his surroundings noticing no changes apart from a fresh layer of snow starting to form covering his footprints slowly. When he’s about a 30 minute walk away from the base he hears a sound to his right which normally wouldn’t be weird except it’s been eerily quiet this whole time so the sound of someone falling or being dumped to the ground is irritatingly loud. Due to this he decides to walk to the noise to see what made it, as he gets closer he sees the body of a girl unconscious in the snow, but as he takes a closer look he notices her features and build isn’t the same as a Japanese girl which peeks his interest a bit. He kneels down and sees if she’s breathing and she is, after a couple minutes of inspecting her she opens her eyes and she does say something but it’s in English….she doesn’t look Japanese because she isn’t, due to her accent he thinks England. He then takes notice of a collar around her neck which he recognizes as a tool that cancels out someone’s quirk “huh how interesting” he thinks to himself as he decides whether to take her with him or leave her to freeze to death

So the AnimeJapan stages reminded me of something…

In Florence, Italy there is a regional ceremony known as Calcio Storico Fiorentino. A military like game of soccer/rugby where goal scoring is how you win the game, however what is permitted is combat between players. So you’ll see boxing, wrestling, and MMA in this 27 on 27 game.

It’s played between the four districts of Florence: Santa Croce, Santa Maria Novella, San Giovanni, and Santo Spirito who are each represented by a color. And guess what those four colors are?

Yep. The same colors as each stage at AnimeJapan.

Now all I’m picturing is all of the series in each respective stage to pick a fight with one another in an elaborate yet violent game of rugby. Which given the many battle Shōnen isn’t out of the realm of possibility.

My Hero Academia: Mashirao Ojiro —Aesthetic

Martial Arts Hero: Tailman's Character & Personality

Mashirao is a student in Class 1-A at U.A. High School. There, he's training to become a hero. Mashirao has quite a calm and noble attitude with a profound sense of dignity. Due to this, these traits prevent him from accepting results he doesn't feel he earned with his own abilities. Mashirao's favorite thing is martial arts. As such, he's a hard worker. Beyond this, Mashirao is sheepish and bashful. Because of this, he doesn't enjoy being in the spotlight and is easily embarrassed. During hero work, Mashirao is humble yet reliable and focused. But he tends to be shocked quite easily. A recurring joke is how Mashirao's peers view him as "plain," which profoundly upsets him. This proves he's sensitive and self-conscious about his personality and abilities.
