"do you give yourself to me, nicolas? do you devote yourself to me, mon petit monstre?" a sigh as he lingers and even without a taste, without sinking fangs into flesh, he can smell the madness, that intoxicating, horrifying darkness within. how it calls to him. how he wishes to silence it for nicki, even if only for mere hours.

"on your knees for me, hands together in front of you. i'll give you all you need."

brownies he was making when you return home a thought of the past, only offering your support to he closer to him. how he enticed you so deeply into it, you don’t know because now he’s got you sat on the kitchen counter with your legs spread and him standing between them. the spoon with the batter is cold against your skin as he drags it up and down your thigh, leaving a trail of brownie batter in it’s path. felix likes seeing the goosebumps raise as he travels higher, higher until he reaches a particularly sensitive spot rather close to your center and he knows he’s gonna have way more fun than he should be. even more chills running down your spine as he kneels to lick it all, from your knee to as close to your core as he could get without actually touching.

no, you only feel his warm breath— he won’t let you have more than that, it’d be too kind. gentle does the pads of his fingers graze the insides of your thighs as does the tips of his hair tickling your skin. when felix leans you back to spread more batter across your belly, the shaky moan that falls from your lips is so cute that he can’t help but laugh at your fragility.

he’s so warm, so pretty looking at you from behind his thick lashes that it’s impossible not to shiver beneath him while the sweet concoction makes your skin sticky. it pools a little in the dip of your belly but he makes quick work to lick it up, only to find your lips following a guttural moan from you to spread the sweetness in your mouth in a passionate kiss. the bowl of batter is long forgotten, spoon fallen to the ground, the kitchen will need a deep clean after the two of you are done.

More Ka'taarg/Fanalis thoughts bc I have ✨ideas✨

Kinda early on we're told that the symbol of the Pheonix was worshipped all across the Dark Continent/Ka'taarg, so like what if the Fanalis... weren't... dragons?

Yes yes I know what's canon and what Ohtaka decided to do in the story but like with the ryukh being birds I reject canon because I think something else makes more sense

Morgiana and the rest of the Fanalis, instead of being decent from dragons, could be decent from Pheonix's OR like Pheonix-Lion hybrid thing? (Manticore with Pheonix wings maybe??) I can't really name a specific mythical creature that aligns with that but that might fit better

I have this theory where all of the like countries we see in "new world" are directly connected to some kind of Alma Torran creature, and the Fanalis are just more closely related for whatever fucking reason

I just don't really think dragons makes a lot of sense for the Fanalis metaphorically speaking, oddly enough I feel like the Rens of the Kou Empire would be more fitting to fill that role

And also I think Pheonix symbolism with Morgiana is just absolutely MWUAH chef's kiss

OK, So I have had this thought for a while man. I think that their relationship could go in two ways. 

- AB could absolutely hate them and think they are super fucking annoying.

OR

- AB could tolerate them. He could think they are a little bit interesting, and they could just have some good banter!

So okay,,, AB would have known about Finn since he has started watching the cameras to try and get out. I think that it would be really funny if he saw them as a fellow camera watcher. Like Finn doesn’t know that he’s there Finn is just like-

“Lmao it’s kinda silly that there is a camera in my room when I’m the only one watching cameras lol”

AND LET ME TELL YOU I HAVE HAD IT WRITTEN FOR MY SONA SINCE THE BEGINNING! Finn? Nosy as fuck, when I wrote that BIO for my sona’s reference? It was supposed to be little notes that someone like Reagan had taken when looking into the pros and cons.

WHEN I SAID NOSEY IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE COMING FROM SOMEONE WHO HAD EXPERIENCE WITH THEM BEING NOSEY AS FUCK!

It would be known that when Finn watches the cameras they take it seriously. Like, they still fuck around just like everyone else in the company.

(We love the headcanon that Finn makes “Cognito’s Funniest Work Videos” or that they could absolutely be bribed to make a blackmail tape for someone if you give them just enough sugary shit on a good day.)

But all that being said? They like knowing what’s going on, and sadly there is a specific room inside Cognito that they don’t get to see from their desk.

Reagan’s Restricted Room.

Like okay, they try for sure. I think at the beginning I can see it being somewhat amusing to watch for AB. Like he isn’t going to mention it to Reagan, not without thinking through how it might go at least. But he enjoys watching them trying to break in and being thwarted, or bugging and wearing Reagan down time after time. It’s like a game of mousetrap! And if they win he has a chance to get out!

They try asking around when they realize that Reagan isn’t going to break. 

The puppy dog eyes and begging may work on JR, but they don’t work on Reagan. Tragic honestly.

They start with Brett. He immediately starts stuttering and being nervous. Man looks like he is ready to VOMIT. But they back out when they see how anxious he is, they understand that feeling. He says no when they give him the chance but pats them on the back and gives them a misguided but appreciated little, “I’m sure you’ll find somebody!”

Next target? Willie. They find him wandering the halls of one of the basement sub-levels. They see him, and they go into a full-on sprint toward him. They scare the ever-loving crap out of this man. When Finn asks if Willie knows some secret way to get into Reagan’s secret room, he starts sweating. And now HE IS ALSO STAMMERING! (Not to say that isn’t a normal occurrence with Willie when Finn scares the absolute shit out of them by just popping out at random but FINN CAN TELL THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SPOOKED WILLIE AND ANXIOUSLY HIDING SOMETHING WILLIE!!!) Unfortunately for Finn Willie is loyal to his Robo-boyfriend and won’t give him away. And luckily for Willie Finn doesn’t feel like pressuring Willie until he breaks so he slinks away down another hall to escape.

It for sure happens eventually, but here we are! Finn finally gets to see inside the room. Reagan trusts Finn, and they may not be able to put a camera in there, but they do get to meet THE MAN. THE MYTH. THE LEGEND. 

He tries spooking them with the old, “You must be Finn, I’ve seen you around the building-” schtick but honestly. It doesn’t bother Finn at all.

Reagan is there to supervise and when Finn straight up ignores him to turn and yell out to her instead she snickers a little.

“YOU HID THE KILLER ROBOT YOU MADE INSIDE OF THE SUB, SUB, SUB-BASEMENT?! HOLY SHIT REAGAN! THAT’S SO HARDCORE AND SWEET?!”

Finn has a fucking field day. If they only get to be in here once- (They will absolutely try and bribe Kate from the cloning department to give them some Reagan DNA to get them in again but that is a topic for another time) 

They ask him all sorts of questions. I mean the only other time they had seen AB was when he was still going to replace the president and tried to kill... well everyone? But Reagan says he’s changed, even if it was just a little (and they would trust Reagan with their life honestly-) so if Reagan says they can trust him with some caution? Finn can do just that.

Finn asks what he’s been doing down here. He mumbles something about friends? and Joey Tribbiani? Finn never watched friends, but they think that’s what he is talking about. When Finn turns around and gives Reagan a look she shrugs letting out a little “What? He likes it!”

Finn shakes their head and turns back around, other than the show friends they talk about the other thing he’s gotten to know. NICHE THINGS THAT HAPPEN WITH THE PEOPLE IN COGNITO.

Honestly, if you need any tea from someone within the company you should go to one of these two. They could sit for hours and talk about the smallest details that they have seen. Like down to how many times someone has walked down a single hallway in one day.

AB is kind of shook that they can sort of keep up with him. Like clearly they can’t follow everything he says, they aren’t some kind of science genius like Reagan is but they do seem to be able to remember things that some would see as unimportant. They are good at reading people and seeing body language even through a monitor. They even had the gal to correct him???

Reagan is honestly too busy for this shit, she has let the two of them become friends and even if AB acts like he is super annoyed and would rather be anywhere else! Reagan can tell that he is having fun.

Whether it’s because he has someone else to talk to other than Reagan or because he is enjoying having someone who enjoys people watching and honestly probably roasting most of the staff at Cognito? It’s still highly up for debate!

But either way? Finn is back to begging Reagan to let them back in the next day, and honestly? Reagan doesn’t know if she wants to say no this time.

I recently found 'Twenty-Four Hours' and...just WOW. I'm normally not a huge fan of enemies-to-lovers but you have changed my mind completely!

The premise is phenomenal. The pacing. The fighting. The little snippets of texts from the friend group. And the ANGST and emotion you pull!! It's absolutely phenomenal. And leaving us hanging with what happened while they were in the bathroom in the flashback!! Ugh I can't wait to read more!

Dust Watched: Yuukoku no Moriarty 2nd Season

Genres: Sherlock Holmes Bishounen ver. // 13 episodes // S01 (x)

Ironically, while the 2nd season of “Yuukoku no Moriarty” had an abundance of scenes that either made me do a full body shiver from the cringe or laugh my ass off at supposed *serious* moments, this season was a vast improvement compared to the first one in my eyes.

The pacing is much better, with only a pretty useless filler episode smack dab in the middle that takes us back in time to an event that happened when the Moriarty kids were little. This was more confusing than anything to be honest but the anime resumes as normal after so I’m willing to overlook it. 

Honestly, I think we all knew what the ending of this anime was going to be, so I was less worried about the plot setting it up properly and more interested in the show being interesting and fun to watch. Which... it was! For me, anyway. The cringey moments and cheesiness of this whole show is more part of its weird charm than a negative. And I’m trying to stress that here; because to anyone who knows about European/English history, the original SH stories or even mainstream references to English people/characters, there are going to be scenes which are as lethal as a blow to the head in their ludicrosity.

That said, while as mentioned I didn’t care much for it, most of the events in this season are a bit meaningless. It’s more of a barrage of references and call-backs in short stories that are veeeery loosely linked together so they all make sense for the overall plot. Most of them were a huge reach.

Refences include: SH stories (The Scandal in Bohemia, The Sign of Four), Jack the Ripper, James Bond, Shakespeare, Robespierre and the French Revolution of 89, Robin Hood, and... Batman?

✧  characters  ✧

The characters of “YnM” are simultaneously its strongest and its weakest asset. Individually, they all seem somewhat interesting but their interpersonal relationships shown on screen are basically nonexistent. The anime tries to go for some “emotional” moments between characters but what they say is completely out of left field. We are told that X and Y character are apparently great friends but we’re never actually given the impression that this is true. All relationships suffer from this. The show also throws around a shitton of characters and then never gives them proper screentime; Moran and Fred are still pretty much a mystery and non top of that the Moriarty squad gets 2 more members as well. Well, 4, an insider in Scotland Yard and a character inspired by Q (from James Bond) but their presence is basically nonexistent. The “villain of the week” type of enemies are also still as 0.5-dimensional as they were in S01 which was unfortunate. They are screaming and spitting and making these stupid ass faces and ugh. Can’t take them seriously.

Alas, some praise is in order as well. Some things I complained about in S01 were improved upon; the Moriarty squad actually show themselves to be useful in their own ways which makes them feel less like just fodder than they did before (despite their lack of character.) A character was introduced in this season as well: Irene Adler. The way adaptations treat her is... well, obviously I was a bit worried about what this anime was going to do with her BUT... I fucking LOVED it. This might just be one of my favourite interpretations of Adler in an SH story. Yeah, she does suffer from the same problems as all other side-characters AND she had one of the most cheesy-cringey moments in the whole show (I couldn’t stop laughing the entire time the ED played afterwards) still. Mwuah *chef kiss* fantastic.

There were 1 or 2 episodes where the characters go a bit wonky in the face but it was overall quite well done with nice animation. This season used its play with colours a lot more and more effectively as well.
