This is because of something that happened w one of Ur Kai bots but:

Putting a cross/rosary in Kai's mouth to shut him up and humble him because he always thinks he's God. Then telling him off in the same vein as telling him you love him.

you’re straddling kai’s lap, as your lips smashed against his, hard and unyielding. his hands are gripping your thighs possessively, always ready to remind you who’s in charge. as you break the kiss, you see that familiar, arrogant glint in his eyes, his mouth parting like he’s about to throw out some smartass remark. but before he can speak, you reach into your pocket, pulling out the rosary.

in one swift motion, you loop it over his mouth, winding it tight like a gag, silencing him instantly. the tiny cross presses against his lips as you pull it taut, forcing his head back slightly. kai’s eyes flash with shock, then fury, but he stays still, jaw clenched, muscles tense. but beneath it all, there’s that twisted admiration he always had when you pushed back. and he’s daring you to push further. you lean in, lips brushing the side of his cheek.

“you always think you’re god, don’t you?” you whisper, “always so sure you’re above everyone, untouchable.”

his left eye twitches, but he doesn’t make a sound, just glares at you with that fire in his eyes. you feel his body tense beneath you, muscles coiling. but you keep the rosary tight, fingers firm around the chain as you pull it taut, forcing his head back a little more.

“but here’s the thing,” you continue, your tone softening just enough to twist the knife. “i love you, kai. but you don’t own me. you’ll never be above me.”

you can feel the unmistakable shift—the hardening against your thigh. the tug-of-war for power between you always had that effect on him.

kai hated losing control—but god, he loved you for it

A walk in the snowy cemetery was all you needed. Mourning a family member, lost in the blacks of your clothes. The soft crunch of the crisp snow under your boots.

Lost to your thoughts, you accidentally bumped into someone. "Oh! Excuse me sir, I do apologise.." You took a glance up at the man you bumped into, seeing him close to tears. He looked like he didn't even care that you walked into him by accident.

"ah, it, um... it's fine, I apologise.." he uttered, shaking his head, waving you off. My...those were the prettiest blue eyes you'd ever seen. Over come with grief. You made eye contact and he noticed your concern for him, despite being a stranger.

"Sir? Are you okay?" You asked quietly, taking a step towards him. The man hesitated. His pain was fresh in his heart, still grieving and unable to find a way to speak it. "Please, take your time. I think company of a stranger is much needed right now.."

After a few seconds of mulling it over, the stranger nodded. He started nattering about the tale of the Hutters. It intrigued you, especially since your relative had lost their life to that plague that suddenly cursed the land.

The story was long, repetitive at times but you two had started walking together. Away from his family's grave, down a few paths. Your hand resting on his arm to help support you. Once the tale had been told, you just stared at up the man, shock, a new wave of grief hitting you. "Oh sir..oh I am, truly, sorry for the losses you have experienced. That..is ghastly. No one should have to go through that." Were the first words to escape your lips.

The two of you continued to walk.

He simply didn't say anything back, but kept you close to him. Like you giving his heart to him was all he needed. Not like it was his wife..but it something.

so i had a really weird dream last night

enter me, sitting peacefully in my house. i then hear a knock on my door and i jump up to answer it, only to find @not-sure-what-im-feeling @logan-the-artist and @thegoldenduckie standing right there broad as ever, right outside my house.

of course im confused as fuck and im like “how did y’all get my address” and then you guys shush me and say “its fine bro were going to FISH MART you wanna come?” and at this point, having no idea what you’re talking about or where fish mart is, i do the most logical thing a person can do: i say yes

so we’re driving to fish mart and as we get out we walk in. all is well. then for some reason logan and xavier get into a fish fight and start hitting each other with wet fish and stuff while me and duckie just kind of watched. after whatever that was, we all go over to the register.

turns out @viva-gardens (hi viva) is working the front desk and they’re like “yo, i work at this place, want a fish?” and we’re all like “ok”. so then i turn around and i see my dad standing behind us, but he’s a dog, and he’s running around in circles. cut to me in my bathtub fully clothed with freezing cold water that came up to my stomach so i get out and i check the time. it’s 6 AM. i then see my dog dad standing in front of me and he says one little thing: “you need to wake up.”

and then i woke up

my three (in no particular order):

'Tell Them' Universe: after nearly losing someone very important to him, jake decides it's finally time to reveal his secret to the dagger squad

i feel like it would be a disservice to not include one of the first pieces i've done. and the only series i've finished so far. i have pieces in the works for this, fun things that go along with it. so i hope i can get a resurgence going 😂

'J and S' Universe: jake seresin met sarah grant in one of the least likely circumstances... moving his younger sister into her dorm room. a year after meeting, they confess to each other in the front seat of a truck. and the rest is history

this series is my baby. i love jake and sugar to no end. it is another one of my early babies, stimming from a fic i fell in love with that the author gave me a character in ( his little girl ). this series is entirely self indulgent with the main oc essentially being the fanfic version of myself. i haven't updated it in a while, sugar has been pregnant for a minute... maybe i can get back to them when my ideas slowdown 😅

'Duckie' Universe: as the daughter of goose and carole and twin sister to bradley ‘rooster’ bradshaw, y/n bradshaw also got her papers pulled when she tried to enlist in the Navy. which turned out to not be as bad as she thought.

and this wouldn't be complete without duckie. this summary is a little lack-luster and rushed, i really need to update it LOL but duckie and nicky hold a very important place in my heart.

these three are only scratching the surface. i adore the pieces i've made, whether they've done well or not. they're all important to me, but these three are what brought me back to posting my writing and have lead me on a path of maturity in my writing that i don't know if i would have reached otherwise.

I had a dream, that was all fucked and whatever but in part of it, I was in the loded diaper van w Rodrick, and he kept accidentally doing burnouts. He was really embarrassed but I loved it and kept giving him a kiss whenever I heard him mutter an apology. :)

James hated waiting for you. You always took too long. He couldn't do anything apart from sit and wait. Wait the measily hours until you came back to him.

"Dearest. You look even more radiant than when you left for the night."

"You flatter me James." A chuckle leaving you as James took your hand, instantly bringing you into the shared room. He wasted no time taking your shoes off, staring up at you like an archangel. Which was an utterly fruitless comparison really. James was never one for religion. But, God. The way you were staring your heart and soul into him...he would've asked for all his sins to be forgiven.

The rest of the evening was no different. He held you close to his soul, the small of your back perfectly fitting into his hand. Gazing deeply at you as fingers intertwined, and music played in the background of your slow dancing. There was something about you that James couldn't deny. Sure you were similar to Elizabeth in the sense of, you liked to watch him kill. But, only so much. If you asked of him, James probably would've stopped killing.

But only for a few days.

You can't really stop someone once they get the habit. Not really.

But, staring into your alive soul, holding you close as the outside world continued to be a tar pit of hate, accusations and crime... that was probably something that brought him the most satisfaction at that moment. Loving James the way Elizabeth couldn't.
