🐾 Says “yes, Derek” in a tone just a bit too sweet when she’s irritated. Enough to make his brow twitch.

🐾 Follows orders exactly,to the point of petty obedience. “You said stand there. You didn’t say don’t sit on the table.”

🐾 When Derek’s lecturing her, she nods along like she’s at a TED Talk. Eyes wide. Taking mental notes.

🐾 Will stare at him blankly when he insults her intelligence, only to later solve the problem while muttering “must be luck, huh.”

🐾 Sometimes she mouths along with his rants. Not loud enough to be caught, but he sees it.

🐾 “Of course, I live to serve,” she says, and somehow it sounds both devoted and like she’s rolling her eyes inside.

🐾 When given a treat or gift, she says “wow, how generous” like she’s quoting a hostage video.

🐾 If Derek’s acting like a drama queen, she will lower her eyes like a humble mutt, but her mouth will twitch. She’s holding back laughter and he knows it.

He's a very high energy and driven dog. He loves all people but can be protective if necessary. Shows no signs of animal aggression but has occasionally not gotten along with a few particular other male dogs, gets along great with females. He's good with cats but has a strong prey drive and will need consistent direction, correction and slow introduction to any new cats he may meet. He would do well with an active person, or somebody with a big yard that he could play fetch in. (He loves to run) Due to living in a small apartment and working long hours, our home is not fit for his needs. Hes highly food motivated and isn't very picky😂. Loves treats and absolutely goes bonkers for toys. Though…… he will rip up a few if given to him left alone and bored🤷‍♀️. He will be rehomed with a large crate, all his current toys, and his food. He's does well with kids, but homes with children under than age 6 would likely not be ideal, as he is quite hyper and may accidentally knock a youngin over inadvertently out of excitement.
