Aphrodi had made good friends with the Eisei kids. He found himself hanging around the orphanage very regularly and playing soccer with his friends there. Around his last year of middle school was when he started getting closer to Mutou.

Mutou Satoshi had formed a crush on the angel pretty quickly. Segata would tease him about it, and subtly try to set them up to hang out together and it surprisingly worked. They definitely became closer.

It wasn’t until the last day of break before high school, did both of them speak about it. 

“You know,” Aphrodi started as he sat on the ground that they had just been previously kicking the ball around. “I’m glad you and I spent a lot of time together this year.” He smiled at his friend.

Mutou blushed, but he turned his head so the other wouldn’t notice. It was too obvious he was sure. “Ah, me too.” He muttered and started picking at the grass between his feet.

Aphrodi cocked his head to the side looking at him. He was so peculiar sometime, but he knew what was going on. He was able to deduce he had a crush on him, which he found himself getting soft on the idea. He always thought Satoshi was cute, but his own crush had definitely formed as well. “Do you want to know why?” He smiled more.

Mutou looked up at him confused. “Uh...oh yeah, sure.” He said back.

“Because I think you like spending as much time with me, as I like spending time with you.” 

Mutou had to think about those words pretty hard. It was cryptic, as Aphrodi could be, but he sort of assumed it was about his feelings for him. Was he that obvious? Segata always said that he was. Of course his crush would have figured it out but...did that mean he felt the same way?

Aphrodi giggled a bit. “Sorry, that was confusing.” He admitted as he looked at his confused face. “Well, I just want to keep spending time with you, that’s all.”

With a bit of a nervous smile, Mutou nodded back. “Me too.” He said. “I’ve liked that you’ve been around here a lot. It’s been nice getting to know you.”

“Well, we should get to know each other better.” The angel suggested outright. “I was wondering if maybe you’d like to go on a date with me tomorrow?”

The forward question caught Mutou off-guard and he was tongue-tied. He never, in any world, thought that he would ask him on a date, and no amount of day dreaming about his crush would make him prepared for this question.

“Metron! It’s your turn to help with dinner!” Segata’s voice rang through his affectionate nickname for his friend as he leaned out of the door of the orphanage. 

Mutou turned back and nodded and then looked at Aphrodi. He didn’t know what to say.

Aphrodi giggled. “You can think about it, you don’t have to answer me now.”

With the pressure of being needed in the house and the boy he’d been in love with waiting for an answer from him, he cracked and eventually just impulsively leaned over and kissed the angel on the cheek.

Aphrodi jumped and let out a little “Oh!” As the other pulled away from it. Realizing it was going to be the best answer, and the best way he could say “yes” in his nervous state, he continued on. “So I’ll see you for our date tomorrow.” 

Mutou nodded. “I’d like that.” He muttered quietly and looked back at the house. “Uhm, I have to go...”

“I know.” Aphrodi smiled more. “I’ll see you tomorrow.”

Mutou didn’t want to be the first to leave, but he could feel the impatience from the others on him. He nodded and stood up jogging to building. 

Aphrodi heard Segata’s voice teasing him for “Metron getting some” from his “boyfriend” and he rolled his eyes. Dating someone from Sun Garden was going to be fun.

SatoTeru headcanon (1)

This is kinda headcanons based on the Ares timeline and with little fic dialogues hehe

Terumi is already a third year in Ares timeline, he is older and wiser after being defeated by Endou’s Raimon and later by Asuto’s Raimon when all Zeus healed after the kami no Aqua.

He knows the worth of a match and the worth of having fun even if they end up losing the game. He wasn’t sad, he was proud of everyone finally showing their soccer. He was strong enough to cheer up his younger teammates.

He’s been seeing Mutou for quite some days, having casual talks whenever they find each other after class. He sees Mutou worth as a soccer player, he proudly played as a MF a year before and now that he finds Mutou playa the same position he wants to guide him as much he can.

Mutou tells him is sometimes harder because Hiroto his teammate usually plays alone and it’s harder for everyone to outstand.

Terumi is like Mutou’s personal cheeleader, he always gives Mutou words to boost his confidence, Mutou was so ready to play that match against Raimon after training so hard with Terumi. Terumi lost agains them and wanted Mutou to also play his best.

Terumi always gives Mutou a little kiss on his cheek after training and Mutou feels like, he wants to do the next step to kiss him on his lips… but feels hesitant because at the end of the day Terumi is his senpai.

The match happened, Mutou tried his best even if it wasn’t much compared to everyone, they lost… hiroto joined the team and finally became part of everyone, that was good. He joined everyone’s mood to feel satisfied with the result. They almost made it! They almost win.

However, when he was finally alone he wasn’t really that satisfied, he walked his route from the Ohisama en, to be alone. All he could think was that he wasn’t strong enough to be a good part of the team

“If I were better probably we would have won…” he thinks.

He stays alone sat next to a river seeing the sunset.

“Mutou…” says Terumi at the back, he is wearing his tracksuit but Mutou doesn’t look back at him

“I couldn’t win for you…” said Mutou

Mutou promised to himself he’d win for Terumi but he didn’t tell him. He was suffering with his promise alone

“I didnt ask you to win” said Terumi and sat next to the sad purple haired boy “all the training we did together was, first of all to spend time together and know each other more and secondly, to improve your soccer, you told me this is the first year you play, to be honest you are really strong already”

“But I didn’t win…”

“Not everything is about winning, you usually will learn more from failure and for me that is also winning” said Terumi and then smiling to Mutou

“You are impossible, always so positive and kind” said Mutou “thank you for everything”

Terumi always have the right words for his beloved little boy.
