this is what being an LPS child turns you into. a MONSTER

big thanksies to my moots @ryuusei-boi and @kapane-luyeshu for giving me ideas for some of the matches! notably ichino, aoyama and yamato ^_^

yamato is here literally for one reason, and that is, i really wanted to match that uglyass flamingo

i was gonna yap a bit in the tags but i realized that uh oh, they're all gonna be taken by the character tags so imma just do it under the cut

anyways, i had a lot of fun doing this :] i was and stil am a huge lps fan so i really enjoyed matching them with my current hyperfixation, even if it took me a while to put this together.

you may have noticed that i tried to use a different model for each match, kinda as a way to challenge myself. there are some characters i would give the same animals, for example, great danes for kyousuke and hakuryuu, but for this project specifically i wanted to avoid repetition. each character in the main graphic has three matches and bonus guys get one or two at most, mostly cause i was tired at that point.

was there a way to format it better? definitely. but i don't care skjfhdskj

I really like the little similarities Kidou and Haruna share, they can be a bit hard to catch since they do not look alike at all

But giving them wavy hair in GO is definitely my favorite, also their glasses match each others eye color, although we can’t see it clearly but Haruna has grayish green eyes

And the fact that they’re both really smart of course

For the 13th birthday of Inazuma Eleven Chrono Stone (I even make the idea before I know it lol)

I draw Saru CS and Fey VR for their new meeting after years !

And since Saru dont still has a VR version, I had a idea about a Peter Pan 2 scene with Peter and Wendy 🥹

(It’s not a ship 🙏 I am into episode 7 in CS haha—)

“Why do you hide them?”

Genda just sighed - deep and tired and pained - and Saginuma remembered the segment on the news. Beast Fang. He shivered at the thought.

“It’s… a painful reminder.” Genda held a tight grip on his comforter, still it did nothing to stop the shaking of his hands. “Just something I’d rather forget about. …It’s shameful.”

Saginuma blinked at that. He couldn’t think of a world where the proud “king of keepers” and “shameful” could exist in any proximity to each other.

Although, he remembered catching glimpses of Genda looking down at his hands with disdain in the short moments he had to himself during training. Saginuma had always chalked it up to frustration at his injuries, but hearing that word come out of Genda’s mouth recontextualized it.

His heart felt heavy at the realization, imagining their otherwise proud keeper carrying that feeling of shame. Something about it felt absurdist, like Saginuma was starring in a comedy skit written by someone who expected him to believe that Genda Koujirou had ever felt flustered or humiliated in his time on Earth.

Or, Saginuma sees Genda’s scar, and shows him his own.
