Lightphobe – Smoothing The Way for Linux Support
Lightphobe asymmetrical co-op multiplayer game aims at Proton support via Windows PC and Linux. Thanks to the skilled team at Mutant Realm Entertainment for making it all happen. Due to make its way onto Steam Early Access in a couple of days. Let's talk about Mutant Realm Entertainment's first big splash in the gaming world – Lightphobe. Mark your calendars for February 12, 2024, since that's when it hits Steam Early Access. Plus there is a focus on Proton, but let me explain.
...no native support for Linux (or Mac) for now. However, I am considering adding native support for Linux in the future.
Exciting news from Mutant Realm. Lightphobe is clever to skip the need for anti-cheat, smoothing the way for Linux support. Plus, developer Allan Chew is keen on getting dedicated servers Linux-friendly. But for now, the focus is on Proton support during Early Access, ensuring everyone can dive into the game easily. And it's all shaping up nicely. So, what is the title all about? It's a mix of classic team survival shooter games, but with a unique twist – light is your biggest ally and enemy. You're in for matches with up to 16 players, battling it out to control points while fending off opponents. And these aren't just any opponents; we're talking about beings with solid abilities.
Lightphobe - Early Access Trailer
youtube
The plan is to keep Lightphobe in Early Access until the devs decide it's fully ready with content. They're thinking about a year, but it's not cast in stone. They want to use this time wisely: gathering feedback to make upgrades, and seeing how much attention it creates. Due to figuring out the overall direction and scope. Now, let's dive into the gameplay. This is an asymmetrical co-op multiplayer experience. You get to pick sides – either as a soldier defending Earth or as a Lightphobe, these ethereal skeletal creatures that are all kinds of terrifying. They are beasts in the dark but don't count the soldiers out. They come equipped with five different loadouts, offering various ways to tackle these nightmares. Gameplay is a blend of competitive shooting and stealthy melee action. It's a strategic cat and mouse battle where dynamic lighting plays a crucial role. Choose to play as a Soldier in first-person shooter mode or as a Lightphobe in third-person melee action. Each with multiple loadouts. And you can play with up to 16 players, with options for peer to peer networking or dedicated servers. As for future additions, they're planning on introducing new abilities for both Soldiers and Lightphobes, plus a couple more multiplayer maps. Play the Demo!! So, keep an eye on Steam Early Access. Due to release of the asymmetrical co-op multiplayer on Linux with Proton via Windows PC, with plans for a native build. Also, get this, it's priced at $5.99 USD / £4.99 / 5,99€. HINT: Keep an eye on the Linux_game Subreddit, you might get a Free Steam code.

Welcome to the End Times: 10 Signs You're Trapped in a Post-Apocalyptic Novel
Welcome to the end of the world, where the only thing more uncertain than tomorrow is the air quality. But don’t fret, because this post is here to guide you through the treacherous terrain of this barren and desolate realm. Here are ten ways to know you’re in a post-apocalyptic novel. 1. The only clothing available is made from duct tape and old tyres. 2. The only way to tell the difference…

Helluva/ Hazbin huh? Okay, here's an idea to play with.
Our lovely Reader is a hellborn. Likely a hellhound or imp since those are the lowest in the hell hierarchy. They've had a rough life, but they're still good, if tired. They try to give advice when ask, avoid trouble, and survive.
Now I have two ideas on who our mutants could be:
Option 1: All of them are sinners. Charles and Erik are running their own version of the Hotel to get sinners redeemed. Everyone is living together in (somewhat) controlled chaos, but they need to hire some help. Maybe a groundskeeper, cook, security, someone who cam go between circles of hell. Reader gets hired for the job, but still is required to be part of "redeeming group bounding activities". One day, someone asks Reader what they want to do when they get redeemed.
"Um, I can't go? To heaven? I'm hellborn, so no soul. No soul=no redemption. This is your guys' afterlife, this is my LIFE."
Ooooooohhhhhhhh! That's fun! Imp or Hellhound Reader running around, doing some good deeds for the denizens of H*ll, hears about the Hotel, and goes there! Only to meet the weirdest group of sinners ever... The adults are all rather grumpy or desperate, amd the teens are either apathetic, depressed, or traumatized. So what does Reader do? Cheer them up! Who wants cake? Here, have some devils food cake and angels food cake! Need to smile? Oh look, some jerk just tripped a rock and busted their face open! Need some entertainment? Reader knows several card tricks, pranks, and artistic exercises they can do!
The sinner X-Men and Brotherhood like their imp or hellhound, making sure they have a warm bed and plenty of activities to do! They don't let them go out unless it's with one of them, and even still, they keep an eye on them at all times. No scum is going to eat or kill their bby! That is THEIR sweet little bean, and they WILL get to Heaven one day, they just know it!
Until they find out Reader simply CAN'T get to Heaven...
Hellborns are the natural citizens of Heck. Reader is a hellborn. They never lived as a human on Earth, so they never had the chance to do good and be accepted by the angels of Heaven. So they aren't even a contender to enter into the light of the Holy Realm...
The platonic yanderes proceed to have a meltdown, Charles and Erik shaking each other amd trying to get in contact contact Heaven to see if, since angels can fall, could a demon ascend...? Amd if so, would they happily accept the best imp/hellhound to ever grace their presence? At this point, those Teo and the other adults are desperate, wanting Reader to survive and not be hurt in case things go wrong or they get caught in the Extermination. But- if Heaven sees how good they are, surely they'll HAVE to accept Reader!
Right...?
(What was your second idea, @sugar-soda? I'm curious to know!) (Let's call this thr Welcome to Heck AU...)

Intro to RAPTURE ACADEMY
(so remember a few months ago I said I wanted to make a list of characters for a fighting game? It has a name now lol)
RAPTURE ACADEMY is a superhero/alternate history project centrally focused around the Rapture Academy and Institute for Superpowered Opportunists, a school thinly designed to raise supervillains. Primarily focusing on the stories and systems around a bunch of kids with intensely dangerous powers enrolled in a private academy headed by imprisoned supervillain No. 1 Angel as part of an internationally-backed plea deal. The kids are alright.
STUDENTS:
Anti (Canadian) - Analog horror-themed hoodie kid with dark powers (makes everything they hit distort like a broken VHS tape), surprisingly nice and wholesome and probably the least likely to actually become a career villain.
Hellbound ("Eastern European") - Princess sacrificed to a draconic ritual, became a half-dragon berserker who spends her time bound in magic chains. A demure sweetheart when lucid, murderous beast otherwise.
The Vigilante Smog Monster/"Smoggy" (Australian) - A swamp monster summoned by an indigenous tribe searching for a protector, can turn into sludge and murder smoke, wears enchanted wooden masks.
Twintails (Japanese) - two students in one! A male wizard apprentice and a female ninja apprentice from rivalling clans that were fused together by a trickster yokai; one person is in control at a time, they swap from sneezing.
IDKYS/I Don't Know You, Sorry (Filipino) - Aspiring idol/daughter to high-ranking entertainment execs with a literally hypnotic voice. Placed in school with a voice-to-computer TTS mask in order to be taught a lesson in humility, is the class queen anyway.
Magnus VI (American) - Indestructible cyborg cowboy built by a mad science firm who can explosively self-destruct any joint in his body before reassembling. Extremely arrogant. No one touches his hat.
Metal Alice (French) - Daughter of a supervillain who died and was brought back as a haunted animatronic unknowing that she died. Is a walking portal to the ghost dimension who can pull out all sorts of phantasmic metal weapons, from scissors to chainsaws.
Hot★Shot (Chinese) - Cocky martial arts prodigy, has fire abilities, up-and-coming superstar. Basically thinks he's the protagonist of a shounen fighting game, is a colossal asshole from it, yet is the popular jock regardless.
Vioelectrolysis (Motswana) - Upbeat mad scientist-in-training who fights using a giant modified fire-extinguisher that mixes chemicals for deadly use, as well as a bigass flail for deadly use. She may or may not be a mutant.
White Slate (Greek) - A living statue accidentally created by a mad artist, has the ability to turn people into stone with his touch. Is missing a face, sometimes paints one on for intimidation points. Mostly an emo boi who paints a lot.
zZomnia (Pakistani) - Phoneaholic teen haunted by nightmares that double as guardian spirits with insanely powerful weapons whenever she's asleep or is on the verge of it. Is constantly sleepy. Leave her alone.
Bitter Batter (N/A) - Just an ordinary girl with no superpowers, but a baseball bat, a silent death glare, and murderous intent. Originally a teen vagrant before being enlisted in the school. The most "normal" student and also the most fn terrifying
Moonlight Rosebloom Powderpuff of the Unside Neverlandian Court (Scottish?) - A bubbly (alleged) fairy noble from a (disputed) faraway realm hidden in a (presumably) magical garden. Wields (conversely very real) magic. It's very pink.
Ryvr Sticks (Ukrainian) - A scarecrow infected with a paranatural fungi giving him sapience, regeneration abilities, and hallucinogenic powers. Indisputably the class clown and source of gossip. Is a wicked breakdancer.
FACULTY:
No.1 Angel (███) - Headmaster, part-time supervillain, full-time asshole. thinks he's a superhero who deserves to protect humanity but then gave another superhero cancer using his light manipulation powers for trying to stop him.
Panopticon (███) - head of security, a silent dude in black armor and an old-timey diving helmet who sometimes appears unacknowledged to stare at everyone in class, in hallways, or off campus. Powers unknown.
Señor Heartpuncher (Mexican) - Teacher of self-defense. Retired lucha-themed super with a long history of being a hero, but once had a heel-turn and became teacher because he owed a favor to No.1 Angel. has the ability to absorb and reflect kinetic force, perfect for teaching kids how to hit punches then tank them
Drill Instructor Friday (Brazilian) - Teacher of phys ed. Acts like the scariest and most intense drill instructor you can think of. She's also a genuine werewolf. Comes up with some of the funniest PG-13-level insults imaginable and then punishes you for laughing at them.
OfOz (Haitian) - Teacher of paranatural arts (magic, anomalies, anything "supernatural"). Pretty chill and charismatic expert in the field, is able to split his soul/body separately. Only one half of him is teaching classes, other half is doing supervillainy elsewhere in the world.
DDDD (South Korean) - Teacher of technology arts. Is the head of a megacorp developing devices for supers, mostly villains. Teaches remotely from the other side of the world using a mini-mech suit that she pilots from her office. It has weapons. She forgets this. Frequently rants about her competitors and has to be reminded by her secretary to stay on topic.
Sir SPECTACULAR!!! (Swiss) and The Virtuoso (German) - Teacher and assistant teachers of theatrics (getting students to figure out their gimmicks/brand/performances as supers). They used to commit "theatre crimes" together with SPECTACULAR!!!'s super-conductor powers and Virtuoso's super-VR tech, turning cities into musicals. After turning the state of Oklahoma into a musical, they've settled down teaching kids and enjoy it.
Mr. Professor Von Ruin (Austrian) - "Teacher" of ethics (the legalities and philosophies of being a super). he is actually a cat. a super-intelligent, talking cat, pet of a supervillain, but a cat. he doesn't really teach, so his period's just a free block.
Miss Brutalist (Swedish) - Teacher of logistics (resourcing and management of being a super). No powers, actually runs a business designing HQs and lairs for various supers. Most of her assignments involve getting students to do paperwork for her projects.
Dr. Infinity-Plus (Hungarian) - Teacher of general sciences and maths. Has incredible foresight/caculation abilities, which drove him... not quite "insane" but very jaded, paranoid, and antsy. Will often derail classes to vent about existentially terrifying concepts. wears a Rubik's cube-like helmet to dampen his mind.
Sewn Chaos (Azerbaijani) - Teacher of home economics. Former career super before using her textile-manipulation powers to design costumes for others, helps the kids figure out their costumes. genuinely like everyone's favorite grandma up until she shares stories of all the f'd up villains she worked with. Good times!
DREADNAUT (Russian) - Head librarian. Ghostly cosmonaut afflicted by paranatural forces while on the moon, now has gravity powers but is stuck in a fugue state. manages the school's library containing vast resources... which is constructed upside-down in order to make it harder for kids to access.
Gutwrencher (Czech) - Head nurse. A zombie in all but name, has a flesh-mending/regeneration factor she can use to heal herself and others. Is constructed out of various necrotic body parts and stitching that often come apart at inconvenient times. Some students are attracted to her and don't know why.
Mr. BRB (Italian) - Head janitor (and also the only one). He's a necromancer who summons ghouls to help do the cleaning for him but often still leaves things dirty. Mostly chills out in his office to record his personal podcasts and offer advice to kids who ask nicely.

your jrwiposting has piqued my interest some. if one were to perhaps look into getting into it... where would one start ?
HELLO ANON !!!!!! OH BOY YOUVE UNLOCKED SOMETHING SINISTER IN MY BONES. I LOVE JRWI AND I LOVE TALKING ABOUT JRWI AND GETTING MORE PEOPLE INTO ITTTTT. there are. MULTIPLE different campaigns it really just depends on where your interests lie the most!! my personal recommendation will always be to listen to Riptide first because that's their free campaign! riptide is a good gauge of the players and whether or not you think theyre entertaining :] also gillion tidestrider is in there and i love him. all of those eps are up for free on youtube, but personally i use spotify the most.
most of the other campaigns are behind a paywall on patreon but personally i think theyre soooo worth it. also for most of their patreon campaigns they do put the first 5 or so episodes out for free to give people a sort of preview for what theyll potentially be paying for (if not there ARE resources on how to pirate the patreon campaigns, if i can find that masterpost in my tag i'll reblog it for u after i answer this!)
ill put a brief overview of each campaign for u under the cut!!
Riptide: long-running free access campaign! uses the traditional dnd ruleset, is set in an oceanic world with pirates vs the navy!
Prime Defenders: long-running main patreon campaign! uses the mutants and masterminds ruleset, is set in a modern/futuristic world with superheroes!
Blood in the Bayou: uses the Call of Cthulu ruleset. EXTREMELY horror focused campaign set in a small town in louisiana in the 80s. this one is only 4 episodes long and WILL fuck you up if youre a fan of tragedy and hivemind eldrich horror and bugs <3
Apotheosis: Uses the dnd ruleset again, but its set in a world where the gods are on the mortal realm and are extremely corrupt and need to be slain <3 BIG fan of the party dynamics in this one, one guy is possessed by an angel who sucks
The Suckening: uses the Vampire the Masquerade rulest, set in modern day (2012? 2018? who knows) LA and follows three vampires from vastly different backgrounds. this one is like horror/comedy.
Wonderlust + Total Monster Kill: the two newest campaigns!! only one episode of each is out. tmk is patreon-only i believe, and is in a monster hunter type setting. wonderlust just put its first episode out for free and i havent actually listened to it yet but its supposedly in a steampunk-ish setting! this is the ones all my mutuals have been freaking out about lately but im slow and havent gotten around to listening yet <3
#i feel like im missing a campaign but i cant remember which onne. im so sorry jrwi fans#asks#anonymous#jrwi#sorry this is super brief but if i keep talking ill go on for ages. lmao!!!!!!#dont be fooled. this podcast is so unserious. unfortunately i love it so much

PREV / THE EMPIRE, DRAKWALD FORESTS
The time of the Green Moon had come again.
Morrslieb, evil and erratic twin of the white moon, Manslieb, hung in the sky and every vile and cruel thing beneath it's leering green gaze began to cavort. In the cities of man, cultists began fell rituals and in the forests of the world beastmen whipped themselves in wild frenzies. Furies blackened the sky in great noisome flocks and women and she-beasts alike brought forth mutants and monsters from their wombs.
It was all to please the gods, for their gifts would be many.
Khade the Unmaker, Firstborn of Blood Gods, found it loathsome. He flew over the mortal kingdoms, sneering down at what he saw. Both the forces of chaos in their wild jollity and the mortals hidden behind walls of stone or sharpened sticks or faith alone. Ignorant fleshlings wasting their breath, and their fear, on these four upstarts.
But they would be dealt with later. The Green Moon brough with it other opportunities, ones only the maddest of mortals or greatest of gods would dare entertain. With a woosh of air and a great thump, Khade at last landed before the tangled forest of Drakwald. Idonea gripped one hand and his stolen god-sword gripped in the other, he began to cleave, smashing wood into splinters. What didn't break ignited, quickly turning the gnarled, tangled wood in a raging fire. Beasts fled, monsters fled, and before the godly blade the very shadows themselves seemed to shy away.
But no normal shadows were these. They had eyes of black and white, and gnashing teeth, their monstrous faces warped into fearful snarls. They hissed and spat, but dared not come close to the Brass Blade and where they fled, Khade followed and cleaved until he was no longer cutting wood and trees. Instead, reality itself split before him. He was cutting into the veil that kept this world and that otherworld separate, intruding into the realm of the gods. One god in particular...
At last, he would stop his hedging, for there were no more trees. There was no sky, no earth, no mortal creates-- only blackness. Khade floated there, surrounded by subtle shapes in the dark. His blade flared to life and he held it before himself like a torch, nearly thrusting it into something. Between the flat of the blade, two milky eyes blazed and he could see the outline of a creature blacker than this realm, with fur and horns and hatred in it's mien. It was deific, like him, and somehow familiar and in that familiarity, Khade had known.
"𝐌𝐀𝐋𝐀𝐋. 𝐒𝐎𝐍 𝐎𝐅 𝐌𝐘 𝐁𝐑𝐎𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑."
Malal said nothing, instead drawing himself up taller to leer down on his uncle.
"𝑌𝑜𝑢 𝑑𝑎𝑟𝑒 𝑖𝑛𝑡𝑟𝑢𝑑𝑒 𝑢𝑝𝑜𝑛 𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑠 𝑝𝑙𝑎𝑐𝑒? 𝑌𝑜𝑢 𝑑𝑎𝑟𝑒 𝑏𝑙𝑖𝑔ℎ𝑡 𝑚𝑦 ℎ𝑜𝑚𝑒 𝑤𝑖𝑡ℎ 𝑡ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑛𝑔?" The Shadow God hissed and what Khade could only assume to be his million million children rattled about them bother, poised to strike; to die in their gods stead if need be. The Red God glanced down at the burning sword, then back at his nephew.
"𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐆𝐈𝐕𝐄 𝐌𝐘 𝐎𝐅𝐅𝐄𝐍𝐒𝐄. 𝐁𝐔𝐓 𝐈 𝐇𝐀𝐃 𝐎𝐀𝐓𝐇𝐒 𝐓𝐎 𝐊𝐄𝐄𝐏 𝐓𝐎 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐂𝐇𝐈𝐋𝐃."
The shadow being agitated. It's shape became sharp and violent, rippling like a storm.
"𝑀𝑌 𝐷𝐴𝑈𝐺𝐻𝑇𝐸𝑅 𝐷𝐼𝐸𝐷 𝑂𝑁 𝑌𝑂𝑈𝑅 𝑊𝐻𝐼𝑀."
"𝐀𝐓 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐄𝐃𝐆𝐄 𝐎𝐅 𝐀 𝐊𝐇𝐎𝐑𝐍𝐀𝐓𝐄 𝐖𝐄𝐀𝐏𝐎𝐍." Khade rejoined quickly. " 𝐈 𝐌𝐀𝐃𝐄 𝐎𝐀𝐓𝐇𝐒 𝐓𝐎 𝐇𝐄𝐑 𝐀𝐒 𝐖𝐄𝐋𝐋, 𝐌𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐆𝐍𝐀𝐍𝐓. 𝐎𝐀𝐓𝐇𝐒 𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐍𝐃 𝐓𝐎 𝐇𝐎𝐍𝐎𝐑. 𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐓 𝐈𝐒 𝐖𝐇𝐘 𝐈 𝐀𝐌 𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐄."
Khade held out his other paw, the Red-Sage Idonea sat in the middlemost pad. Malal eyed her hungry, flicking his gaze incredulously over to to the Red God. Then, he glared with suspicion, even as he scooped the offered God-Fractal up with inkly talons. As soon as Malal grasp her, Khade grabbed him in time. The Shadow God, again, agitated, but the Red God persisted. He let the Malignant taste his power and the power of the Blade he had stolen. Only then did he let Malal go, his Red Skin burning from the touch.
"𝐈 𝐇𝐎𝐍𝐎𝐑 𝐌𝐘 𝐃𝐄𝐀𝐋𝐒. 𝐈 𝐊𝐄𝐄𝐏 𝐌𝐘 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐌𝐈𝐒𝐄𝐒. 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐌𝐎𝐑𝐄 𝐏𝐎𝐖𝐄𝐑 𝐀𝐖𝐀𝐈𝐓𝐒 𝐘𝐎𝐔, 𝐑𝐄𝐍𝐄𝐆𝐀𝐃𝐄. 𝐁𝐔𝐓 𝐅𝐈𝐑𝐒𝐓…𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐌𝐔𝐒𝐓 𝐃𝐎 𝐒𝐎𝐌𝐄𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐌𝐄."
Malal, intrigued and mollified despite himself, mulled over the offer. All the while, the Red-Sage in his claws screamed and cursed them both until shadows filled her mouth and nose, crawling in her ears and behind her eyeballs. Both gods ignored her.
"𝑌𝑜𝑢 ℎ𝑎𝑣𝑒 𝑚𝑦 𝑒𝑎𝑟, 𝑅𝑒𝑑 𝑂𝑛𝑒. 𝑆𝑝𝑒𝑎𝑘 𝑦𝑜𝑢𝑟 𝑑𝑒𝑎𝑙."

About Blank Eclipse and How all of it happen:
Part 1 | Part 2?
To start with, Blank Eclipse is about a group of different members from different world. The goal behind Blank Eclipse is to stop the corruption and the interruption of the story. An unknown virus have been running around the world, choose one host or vessel to interrupt the storyline of some certain world.
There's a different types of virus they need to hunt, the virus that interrupt he storyline, the virus possessed one of the main/supporting/background cast, and the virus that ultimately kill the forgotten people.
Blank Eclipse's sole goal is to stop the virus from spreading more and more from their world. But in the end, they will be depicted as a villain in their world.
The Blank Eclipse:
(CREATOR'S NOTE: The name behind Blank Eclipse is the fact that I choose my favorite characters, and the fact I made this, I need to see what all of them have in common. Until I found the name for it, "Blank" means for an empty canvas painting, we can also choose that word for empty vessel. No emotions, no goal, no meaning. That's how I describe some certain characters.
"Eclipse" is a different meaning.
For me, "Eclipse" is something you have to get through but not knowing something behind them, the shadow of that something will come back as another them. To cut it short, the Blank Eclipse have divided to three categories. I will explain later.)
The founder and leader of Blank Eclipse is one of my character from the story I've made. Inkuro Afuru. If some of you have checked my original character/OC tag, you will find her or Inkuro Afuru tag.
Anyway, Afuru has found out about the multiverse realm of different world. That we can say those realm are the other show. She found it out and explore around it but never interact with the people of it. Until, she found one world that the storyline of it suddenly been interrupt and the world have been completely wipe out by the virus.
Knowing this, she try to find the virus and destroy it at all cost but, she's the only one and she can't fight the virus all alone, she need to think how strong it is and how many of it that have been passing around the realm...
She makes her point by visiting each realm to requite one person to help her and thus, the Blank Eclipse have been form.
The Blank Eclipse have divided to 3 different groups, different members and different role.
We got 3 group, 6 members for each of them, and different roles for each.
The Representative of Blank Eclipse in 3 different group; Akabane Karma from Assassination Classroom, Onodera Kyouya from Talentless Nana, and Hansel and Gretel from Dead Don't Tell Tale
The Weapon of Blank Eclipse in 3 different group; Tsugumi Seishirou from Nisekoi, Clay Moorington from Lego Nexo Knights, and Mikhail from Vanitas No Carte
The Undertaker of Blank Eclipse in 3 different group; Tomioka Giyuu from Kimetsu No Yaiba, Leonardo from Rise of The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle, and Ace from Death On The Next Chapter
The Exterminator of Blank Eclipse in 3 different group; Sleepy Ash from Servamp, M-21 from Noblesse, and Ichinose Guren from Seraph of the End
The Strategist of Blank Eclipse in 3 different group; Todoroki Shoto from Boku No Hero Academia, Khun Aguero Agnis from Tower of God, and Dazai Osamu from Bungou Stray Dogs
And lastly, the leader of Blank Eclipse in 3 different group; Inkuro Afuru from Heart of Cursed, Gokudera Hayato from Katekyo Hitman Reborn, and Sherlock Holmes from Yuukoku No Moriarty
Those 3 groups of Blank Eclipse are being categorize with the 1st Blank Eclipse call "Puppeteer", 2nd Blank Eclipse call "Puppet, and 3rd Blank Eclipse call "Backstage".
Why this specific characters and anime/story/cartoon you may ask? Well, first one, I am bored. Second, I need entertainment. Third, I want to write what they thought and understand the situation they are in.
I'll try to write my favourite characters, just like them in canon, but even I, myself, have no skill on writing nor speak English very well. I'll try to write them the way I've seen them in the story and try to see some flaws in them. Try to find what makes them the way they are and try to see them in what other people think. Such moral grey character, they were being loved and yet they've receive more hates than love.
I want to try, in their world, everyone understand them, however the second they are on different view, no one is on their side except themselves...
That's why I want to try write them together, get understand each other in different circumstances and yet so similar. To me, they are everything to me with how I do understand their flaws and try to find behind their said flaws. Not everyone is perfect, not everyone has to be perfect, there are limits of that perfect of theirs.
So, I think, this is the only way I can express and let my thought float free with how I think this is they are.

Madame Web (2024) Release Date, Cast, Trailer
The text provided is a comprehensive overview of the fictional character Madame Web from Marvel Comics. Madame Web, also known as Cassandra Webb, is a mutant with psychic abilities including clairvoyance, precognition, and telepathy. She first appeared in "The Amazing Spider-Man" #210 in November 1980, created by writer Denny O'Neil and artist John Romita Jr. Initially, she is depicted as an elderly woman reliant on a life support system resembling a spiderweb due to her condition, myasthenia gravis. Over time, her character undergoes various transformations, such as gaining immortality and curing her myasthenia gravis. Madame Web plays a mentorship role to other characters in the Spider-Man series, particularly other Spider-Women. Spin-off of "Spider-Man," centering on a clairvoyant mutant named Madame Web. Release date: February 16, 2024 (USA) Director: S.J. Clarkson Producers: Lorenzo di Bonaventura, Erik Howsam Screenplay: Kerem Sanga, Burk Sharpless, Matt Sazama Production companies: Marvel Entertainment, Sony Pictures, Columbia Pictures, Di Bonaventura Pictures Distributed by: Sony Pictures Releasing Her backstory includes being born in Salem, Oregon, and becoming paralyzed and blind due to her condition, but her psychic abilities enable her to function as a medium. She has a significant impact on Spider-Man's life, assisting him with her powers and even knowing his secret identity at one point. Madame Web's character arc includes participating in the "Gathering of the Five," regaining her youth, and surviving major storylines like "Decimation" and "House of M." In the "Grim Hunt" storyline, Madame Web is killed but passes her powers to Julia Carpenter before dying. Later, she is resurrected by Ben Reilly into a cloned body. She continues to play a role in the Spider-Man universe, guiding other heroes and foreseeing future events until her eventual death from clone degeneration. Madame Web's legacy extends beyond the comic books, with appearances in animated television series and video games. She is voiced by Joan Lee in the 1990s "Spider-Man" animated series and by Cree Summer in "Ultimate Spider-Man." The character is also set to appear in the upcoming "Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse" animated film, voiced by Rachel Dratch, and a live-action solo film titled "Madame Web," with Dakota Johnson cast in the titular role, set to be released in 2024 as part of Sony's Spider-Man Universe. The character's abilities, intellect, and significant moments in Marvel's Spider-Man lore, as well as her upcoming appearances in film, reflect her enduring popularity and influence within the superhero genre.
Madame Web 2024 Cast
The casting for Madame Web has certainly piqued interest, with Dakota Johnson in the lead role, potentially embodying the Julia Carpenter version of the character. Emma Roberts, Mike Epps, Zosia Mamet, and Isabela Merced have all been cast in undisclosed roles, stirring speculation. Adam Scott and Tahar Rahim are also on board in yet-to-be-revealed roles, with fans speculating they could be playing iterations of Spider-Man, especially given Scott's Peter Parker-esque wardrobe and Rahim's sighting in a costume reminiscent of Spider-Man's. Yet, in the realm of the multiverse, these on-set glimpses remain tantalizing but unconfirmed hints of what's to come.
Madame Web Release Date
Madame Web appears to be adopting Deadpool's successful strategy of a Valentine's Day weekend release, aiming to replicate the 2016 film's blockbuster performance. Set for a February 16, 2024 debut, Madame Web could captivate audiences without facing any direct competitors during its premiere weekend. Despite a shift from its initial October 2023 slot due to Kraven the Hunter's original scheduling, the latter's postponement to August 2024 suggests that the two films will not overlap in narrative content, given Kraven is now set to release subsequent to Madame Web.
Madame Web Plot Details
The "Madame Web" film seems set to chronicle Julia Carpenter's rise to power, but with a twist — Dakota Johnson's portrayal suggests a revamped backstory involving service in the New York City Fire Department, a departure from Julia's comic book role with the Commission on Superhuman Activities. This change could stem from Sony's limited rights, precluding any direct Avengers references. With the film's 2000s era potentially linking to the Raimi/Maguire Spider-Man era, hinted by set photos and Tobey Maguire's expressed interest in returning to the role, the stage is set for a rich Spider-Verse narrative. The recent introduction of the Web of Life & Destiny in "Across The Spider-Verse" might indicate that "Madame Web" will delve deeper into this mythos, potentially paving the way for expansive crossover opportunities.
MADAME WEB 2024 (- 1 - Teaser Trailer | Marvel Studios & Sony Pictures | The Amazing Spider-Man 3
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zOIlwh703jk Given the 2024 release date for "Madame Web," the absence of a trailer is not surprising. Filming wrapped up not long ago, leaving significant post-production work to be done. Anticipate the trailer closer to the release timeframe, as it aligns with typical marketing timelines for major films.
Is Madame Web coming to the MCU?
Madame Web is set to make her appearance not within the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) but within Sony's Spider-Man Universe (SSU). Actress Sydney Sweeney has confirmed her role as the Julia Carpenter version of Spider-Woman in the upcoming "Madame Web" movie. She expressed excitement about her role and believes the movie will offer something unique compared to typical superhero films. The film is scheduled to be released in theaters on February 14, 2024. Is the Madame Web movie still happening? Yes, the Madame Web movie is still happening. Principal photography for the film began on July 11, 2022, and after shooting in various locations, including Massachusetts and New York City, it wrapped up in mid-January 2023. The movie is scheduled to be released in theaters in the United States on February 14, 2024, in IMAX. Is Madame Web gonna be in Spider-verse? A character loosely based on Madame Web, named "C. Weber," is confirmed to appear in "Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse" (2023), and she is voiced by Rachel Dratch. In this iteration, "C. Weber" is portrayed as a counselor at Miles Morales' school. This suggests that Madame Web, in some form, will indeed be featured in the Spider-Verse movie. Read the full article

Honestly though, for the most part I’m still just always gonna sigh at future MCU movies with mutants, because they’ll be relatively condensed to just team ensembles given how big the MCU already is, and it just makes me go rawr about how WE COULD HAVE HAD IT ALLLLLLL.
Like, I think a lot about just how damn MUCH Fox wasted the X-Men in all the years they had access to them. Their movies were so generic and confined, IMO, when like.....they had literally every opportunity to make their own version of the MCU, just as broad and containing just as many subgenres. The X-Men mythos is really that expansive. They could have built up an X-Men team, solo movie by solo movie, and then bringing them all together. I fucking DEFY anyone to say that there's something inherent in the characters of Tony Stark, Peter Quill, and Scott Lang that makes it possible to build entire franchises around them, but that the same isn't true for a good dozen different X-Men. Like just off the top of my head, the possibilities for solo movies for individual X-characters based just on their own unique backgrounds and niches: 1) Psylocke - before she was an X-Man, she was literally a supermodel slash spy. If you can't make 'female James Bond with psychic powers' work, you're not trying. 2) Gambit - everything about him and his character and his origins screams HEIST CAPER HEIST CAPER HEIST CAPER. Ocean's Eleven with Gambit recruiting a team of mutant criminals to steal something from Madripoor, while dodging assassination attempts from his ex-wife's relatives, etc etc. 3) Storm - you could easily make a movie with an epic fantasy tone around her, from her childhood as a thief in Cairo hunted by the mysterious and otherworldly Shadow King to her days being worshipped as a goddess in the Serengeti and now more than capable and ready to fight the Shadow King for the souls of her people. 4) Cable - Terminator style movie centered around the emotional core of Cable going back in time to save the world by saving his own parents from his twisted mirror self, Stryfe. If you don't want to mix clones and time travel streamline things by making Stryfe just a literal other version of Cable like they're each other's road not taken diverging from the same moment in time when Scott and Jean sent baby Nathan into the future to save him. 5) Magik - young girl kidnapped by demon sorcerer who over the course of years leeches her soul and innocence to empower his dark magics, all while she bides her time and learns from watching him, ultimately rising up to overthrow him by claiming the power he tried to steal from her and wielding his own spells against him. 'Nuff said. 6) Longshot - its 2022, how has nobody ever tried to capitalize on the character who was created to star in gladiator combat and rebellions that were real life to him while just being entertainment to others. He's literally The Hunger Games but with superpowers. 7) Bishop - if the Cable pitch doesn't work for studio execs, you've got Bishop waiting in the wings, ready to pop in and out of the timestream in pursuit of assholes from the future seeking to Kang the Conqueror their way to world domination. 8) Dani Moonstar - remix Dani's powers of illusions drawn from the psyche just enough that an accident with them draws her INTO the realms of myth and fantasy she usually pulls FROM. She discovers that everything is real somewhere, even places like Asgard, and now she has to find (or create) a Yellow Brick Road to lead her back home, crossing through battlefields of Valkyries, demon landscapes and more along the way. Alternatively, young mutant and aspiring pop star Lila Cheney accidentally teleports herself across the galaxy and has to find her way home, only to stumble into galactic superstardom via Guardians of the Galaxy style antics. Etc, etc. You could do something like Sage, Emma Frost or Monet St. Croix infiltrating the Hellfire Club at a young age and trying to navigate its complicated politics without losing her soul. Or family drama writ large as young mutants Chamber, Blink or even Nightcrawler, any of them possibilities for being abandoned at birth as obvious mutants, seek answers about their origins only to be plunged into operatic Wagnerian (pun intended) antics via their supervillain parent/ancestor Apocalypse or Azazel. Space adventures with any of the Summers kids learning honey, your parents were kidnapped by aliens. More epic fantasy possibilities with someone like Magma discovering their entire civilization is just a cruel immortal's toy and taking on Selene to save her people from her eternal manipulations. The possibilities were endless, and Fox was like, lol, nah, what if we just used the same handful of characters and also some robots to just like.....make pew pew noises at each others with their lasers. Like, love that energy, Fox. Good hustle out there.
#also keep in mind I'm a big proponent of who the fuck says the X-Men all have to be cis straight and white in the movies#just because many of them debuted that way in the 60s#nope. gimme Nichole Beharie as Jean Grey and Mason Gooding as young Nate. gimme Lucy Liu as Emma Frost and#Jay Hernandez as Gambit and Angelica Ross as Rogue#OUTSIDE THE BOX THINKING ONLY. y'hear me casting directors?#These are the freaking X-MEN

365 Marvel Comics Paper Cut-Out SuperHeroes - One Hero, Every Day, All Year…
April 4th - Longshot
The hero known as Longshot originates from an alternate dimension known as Mojoworld. On this world, powerful beings called The Spineless Ones ascended to rule the realm. A temporal loop providing them endless lives drove these Spineless Ones mad and they created humanoid slaves to serve and entertain them. The being called Arize, who helped create these humanoids, believed that the beings should be able to fight for their freedom and independence; and thus endowed a number of them greatly enhanced abilities.
Young Longshot was one of these enhanced beings. He possessed greatly augmented physical abilities, a regenerative healing factor, mild psychic abilities as well as the capacity to unconsciously alter probability fields so that he experiences incredibly good luck.
The realm came under the control of a Spineless One known as Mojo who used his incredible power to fulfill his obsession with always being entertained. Mojo forced Longshot to perform increasingly dangerous stunts to amuse him. These stunts made Longshot a hero and he used his fame to begin a rebellion among the slave caste. He would go on to become a legendary hero of the rebellion, but sadly this uprising was quashed and Longshot was captured.
Mojo artificially induced amnesia in Longshot, hoping it would render him submissive. Yet he escaped and ended up discovering an inter-dimensional portal that led him to Earth.
Longshot would go on to have numerous adventures on earth, seeking to regain his lost memories whilst staying ahead of the forces dispatched by Mojo to recapture him. Following exploits alongside Ricochet Rita and Doctor Strange, Longshot ended up allied with The X-Men. Longshot would go on to become a member of The X-Men during the ‘Outback Era’ and grew especially close with his teammate, Dazzler.
Longshot and The X-Men would have a number of altercations with Mojo. Mojo was eventually defeated and the slaves of the realm were freed. Longshot and Dazzler were married and together they had a son who they named Gaveedra. Due to the temporal looping nature of Mojoworld, the Spineless Ones once more regained power and a now adult version of Gaveedra became stranded on earth were he fell in with the Mutant hero, Cable, and joined his team, X-Force, using the alias of Shatterstar.
Longshot would also act as a member of both the Exiles as well as Jaimie Madrox’s X-Factor Investigations. He regained his memories, lost them once more and again regained them. He would also come to discover that his teammate, Shatterstar, is actually his and Dazzler’s son, Gaveedra, leading to a strange and long overdue reunion between parents and child.
The dimensional-hoping hero first appeared in the pages of Longshot #1 (1985).

Mario Mario & Luigi Mario || Super Mario Bros.
The beginning of any quest has its starting pains. In the early 90’s, Hollywood set out to begin getting a cut of that sweet video game money. At the time, video games were mostly considered toys, and they were advertised as such. As the medium grew more adult, so did its films. Still, they had to begin somewhere, and why not with the biggest gaming property on the planet past and present: Super Mario Bros. This provided an unknowingly impossible challenge for creatives, one that is still a topic of intense discussion to this day. How does one balance the adaptation of a property from a completely different format into film? At the time, other films that looked similar to what Super Mario Bros would become had succeeded despite the challenges of adapting comics for film. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and the first re-imagination of Batman since the 60’s went on to invigorate their respective properties. Today, comic book movie adaptations are the tent pole of every major movie studio. In the case of Super Mario Bros, despite its critical failure at the time, I honestly feel like the creatives succeeded. The ire this film would glean over time from both fans and the people behind the camera fuel its bad reception to this day. In my opinion, it is actually a success story in the world of video game adaptations, and a great place to start if you plan on watching every Hollywood attempt. I promise you this: it could be so much worse. And for later attempts, it was! But, does Super Mario Bros thwomp?
In my initial argument, I raised that these films should be broken down into categories including: Originality, Preservation, Construction, Delivery, and Fanservice. Originality and Preservation can be at complete odds with one another. In the case of Super Mario Bros, it turns out to be a good combination of both. They offset each other just enough to find a balance between the reality of our world and the fantasy of the mushroom kingdom. Sit back in your chair and imagine the real world of 1993, what films looked like back then, the landscape of video game culture. I think the creators had this very much in mind when they penned this movie. The very first thing that happens in the Super Mario Bros movie is the NES theme song with all the depth a stereo sound system can provide. It really sets your little gamer heart aflutter. It conjures up images of the brightly colored games. Using narration, they make promises of dinosaurs, meteors, and other dimensions. If you don’t think too hard, it kind of sounds like a version of Super Mario Bros that was advertised via the game manuals and cartoon show. If you are familiar with either, a pair of New York plumbers essentially get sucked down a drain pipe. This process is a little more drawn out in the film, but It turns out more or less exactly as good as could have been expected in 1993. In fact, the film really isn’t above sucking them down a drain pipe, they do crazier things, but I suspect that they wanted the plumbers to have a more direct conflict that would lead them to try and save princess Daisy.
The plot of the film is par for the course in a children's film and a direct consequence of the game itself, especially if you consider the 3rd entry. A good king and an evil military general, betrayals and coups, princesses sent to live in another realm only to return home with a pair of knights to dethrone the evil king. A tale as old as time, one that continues to be retold because it resonates with us. The filmmakers were really focused on this being a performance of realism meets fantasy This would come to be the major struggle that other video game movies would continue to have problems balancing. They took concepts from the game and gave them an original spin and most within the framework of the original work. Their creative license is often challenged for these choices, but in the context of making a live action Super Mario Bros movie in 1993, those challengers should check themselves. The real question you should ask yourself is, in this context, what would you have done differently? And would it really have been better? I struggled to find a way to truly make the concepts of this movie any MORE appealing, but it was surprisingly easy to make it worse. In one way, this film was a by the numbers kids adventure story, but it's being held to task mostly for failing to be a good adaptation of the game, a bar which didn’t exist when they made it, but one they set and cleared simply by attempting to do so much. All the Mario concepts are easily recognizable, which should be applauded, even in the face of them being a little wacky.
Despite its failings in authenticity, it actually packs quite a lot of fanservice into almost every frame. If you pay attention once they enter Bowser’s domain, the walls are littered with little ads and jokes all based on Mario properties. This is all in an effort to please fans, but the film does tend to leave these little things in the background, the camera more focused on the characters and plot, so blink and you miss them. If anything, this duty to fanservice seems somewhat creatively arresting. Had this film not been an adaptation of another work, they may have opted to skip a few things, like how Mario and Luigi employ the use of mushrooms. In the game, these would make the bros bigger, but this would have been a bit at odds with the backdrop of the grimmy New York City analogy they chose, not to mention technically difficult. People have been squashing miniatures for years, but I just don’t see this being a good use of the film’s time given every other decision. The film's overwhelming attempt to create entirely new flesh on the skeleton of an animated game is really only hampered by the audience's willingness to enjoy it for what it is, by questioning every creative decision. A lot of effort was taken to make the world feel cohesive, especially in its attempt to be parallel to existing New York City. They even take time on some more clever jokes that go somewhat unspoken. Everything in Bowser City runs on electricity, including the cars. The idea here is that fossil fuels do not exist because the dinosaurs of this world haven’t ever fossilized. Or maybe the dinosaurs knew it was bad for their planet? The film is constructed and delivered in such a way as to not take itself too seriously, but to appear parallel to something familiar to our own world in conjunction with the Super Mario world.
After having sat through the film with an earnest critical eye, I am not going to tell you the film is greater than the sum of its parts or that it's fantastic because it set out on an uncharted path. Instead, what I will attest to is that it was truly competent. It made every attempt to give you what you wanted and also took a few of their own twists on the formula. Bullet Bills turned into fuel for jumping, Bomb-oms wear Reeboks, shoes facilitate their ability to jump but also satisfy the boot you wear in Super Mario Bros 3. They even use the lightgun from the NES to navigate screens much like a mouse and the SNES super gun as a weapon! All this and still they found a way to make it all fit within the italian brothers from Brooklyn framing. Unfortunately, it would seem no one really learned anything from the success or the failures of this film. If the 90’s game films are any indication, the only thing they learned is that the box office is fickle and to double down on fan service even when it doesn't make sense, and in some cases, abandon everything about the game entirely and simply slap the name on a completely original film. And yet, despite all the bad press and internal struggles the Super Mario Bros production had, they came out the other end with an inoffensive, enjoyable film that both kids and adults can enjoy. Especially if they forgive the film any perceived sins, a gift that all film adaptations deserve, and just try to recognize what they really accomplished. Bringing to life a world that only existed in your Nintendo. It may not have been pretty, but damn if it wasn’t entertaining.

A Nexus for the rest of us!
What is the Nexus?
In WandaVision, almost every episode has included a cryptic message in the form of an advertisement. These ads match the time and style of the episode and playoff some trauma that Wanda has experienced.
WandaVision Episode 1 - "ToastMate 2000"
ToastMate 2000 is an obvious reference to Wanda and her brother's trauma as children when missiles attacked their home. An attack that killed their parents, and the twins (Wanda and Pietro) were left with one unexploded missile, wondering if that would explode, killing them as well.
WandaVision Episode 2 - "Strucker Watch"
Strucker Watch is a reference to the experiments performed on Wand and Pietro. The experiments giving them each their powers.
WandaVision Episode 3 — "Hydra Soak"
Hydra Soak is a reference to the criminal organization Hydra, which Baron Strucker worked. Hydra is known for its ability to control other's minds and have little regard for the life of someone they may find powerful and will use them for their benefit, even if that means destroying them in the process.
"When you want to get away, but you don't want to go anywhere — Hydra Soak, find the goddess within."
All of this makes you wonder whether or not some sleeper cell of Hydra has returned.
WandaVision Episode 5 — "Lagos"
Lagos is a very blatant call out to an event from Captain America: Civil War. While on a mission in Lagos, Nigeria, Wanda accidentally killed several people when she diverted an explosion to save Captain America’s, played by Chris Evans, life. This explosion leads to the creation of the Sokovia Accords'. The creation of the accords prompted a severe divide between Captain America and Iron Man.
WandaVision Episode 6 — "Yo-Magic"
Yo Magic seems to take a different turn and appears to speak to Wanda’s current trauma. You know, the one that began with being put in a position to kill Vision to save the world. Then watching as Thanos rewound time, having to watch Vision be killed again by the Mad Titan. Then, she experienced the aftermath of defeating Thanos and discovering that the counterintelligence organization SWORD had Visions body taken apart in a lab to study.
This ad takes a darker and twisted turn contrasting with the idyllic world Wanda has created. There is one theory about this one that may introduce a new big bad:
“On Reddit, some fans are speculating that the commercial is hinting at the introduction of a villain to the series — particularly, the Marvel demon Mephisto. Throughout the series, several jokes about the devil are made, but especially in episode 6 when Pietro (Evan Peters) appears and tells Wanda's sons to "unleash hell, demon spawn." Some are predicting that Pietro is "the devil" Mephisto in disguise, and the shark is symbolic of how the villain will seek to use his magic against Wanda or her family.” ―Kayla Keegan, Good Housekeeping
The most recent commercial to date is from Episode 7:
WandaVision Episode 7 — "Nexus"
youtube
The Nexus could be about the place Tony Stark goes to stop Ultron from retrieving the nuclear codes during Avengers: Age of Ultron. But it is more likely in reference to the Marvel comics' multi-dimensional structure, and now the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This concept is most often referred to as the multiverse.
“The Nexus is a cross-dimensional gateway which provides a pathway to any and all possible realities, this includes realities between realities. It is unknown whether it was created by some being or just if it's the one place in the entire multiverse where all realities naturally intersect.” ―https://marvel.fandom.com/wiki/Nexus_of_All_Realities
The commercial parodies ads for medication like Zoloft or Prozac. The slogan for the antidepressant is telling:
"Nexus: because the world doesn't revolve around you. Or does it?" ―WandaVision Episode 7, “Nexus” Commercial
In addition to referencing the Nexus, or sometimes referred to as The Nexus of all Realities, this commercial maybe referencing Wanda, known in Marvel Comics as one of several Nexus Beings.
“Nexus Beings are rare individual entities with the ability to affect probability and thus the future, thereby altering the flow of the Universal Time Stream… One nexus being alone supposedly exists on each of the parallel worlds of the Multiverse and personify the character of their respective realms and serve as the focal point or anchor of that reality.” ―https://marvel.fandom.com/wiki/Nexus_Beings
With Quicksilver's introduction, played by Even Peters (Marvel Fox universe) instead of Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Marvel Cinematic Universe), some element of the Multiverse has already seemed to appear. Of course, that is if this new version of Pietro Maximoff is who he says he is.
Just one more thought, in the Nexus commercial, the ad warns that:
"you should not take Nexus until your doctor clears you to move on with your life." ―WandaVision Episode 7, “Nexus” Commercial
It makes me think about the title for the upcoming sequel to another Marvel Cinematic Universe feature film. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness was announced in 2019 and featured none other than Elizabeth Oleson as Wanda Maximoff. At the announcement, Kevin Feige, President of Marvel Studios and primary creator and producer of the MCU, introduced Elizabeth Olsen. They talked about how WandaVision would tie directly into the new Doctor Strange movie slated for release in 2021 but has been pushed to 2022.

Alright next part of mutant au
Zuke has finally arrived to eve’s district and boy does the conversation go south fast
Eve is just... so angry
She makes it clear she thinks zuke abandoned her and zuke has no idea what shes talking about
Most of this fight is dodging and talking/arguing
Thing is zuke and eve had been running away ftom horrible humans that kept them prisoner, at one point they wind up seperated
While running zuke fell down a cliff and the humans presumed him dead, he survived obviously but eve was recaptured while he was out
Some mutants from vinyl city found him and brought him back to be healed
By the time he woke again 3 days had passed and he had no idea where he was
He also found the humans were long gone with nadia from his rescuers
It took another week to heal and he’s got back problems from it
At some point, about 2 weeks later tatiana rescues nadia from the humans
She had been outside of the city making sure they were far away cause they had been close to discovering them when she found them with nadia
After rescuing her and taking her back to the city she gave her time to heal
It took nadia a long time to trust anyone again because to her, it seemed zuke abandoned her and saved himself
Especially when years passed before they had contact again (nadia learned he was in the city but zuke didnt know till after mays kidnapping given that she went by eve)
Zuke actually has to start fighting back which doesnt help especially with a particularly hard blow is landed on her head
It isnt till after eve retreats into her own dimension that theyre able to talk things out, somewhat. Eve at least understands he didn’t abandon her but she seemed really disoriented
Zuke asked her where may was and she seemed to be even more confused when he heard may shout
He left her dimension in a hurry to try and find may, since she was defeated, her other dimensions should have disappeared and dumped their contents back into reality
Unfortunately by the time he gets to where he heard may theres nothing. Just some scorch marks leading out the door
Kliff calls and tells him he needs to go and face the head of nsr, tatiana, in order to get may back and stop all of this
It later occurs to zuke as hes heading to face tatiana that kliff called him and knew what happened
Without zuke telling him
Tatiana
During the talk with eve tatiana had shown up. It didnt take her long to track down where may was held. After a bit of a scuffle, cause may did not go down without a fight, she was able to winnand knock may unconcious.
Thing is while may is strong she has poor control. And tatiana is stronger. I mean fire and time powers so. Yeah.
May wakes up in a chair at nsr tower on the upper floor. Before her with their back turned is tatiana.
“Awake i see.”
May finds she cant move desite not being tied down or anything.
“Dont bother. I used my time abilities to freeze your body in place. You will wait here for our meeting.”
“M-meeting?” May cant help but to feel nervous.
“You dont think i run this on my own do you? I have an individual at my side that needs to meet our newest members of nsr. And help to prepare them.”
“Im not gonna to join nsr! Zuke will bust me out of here and-“
“I plan on him coming. He’s a perfect addition as well. Since you two seem to make a good team, i’ll likely put him in your district.”
“Why are you doing this?”
“To protect others.”
“No? Why are forcing them into this, taking them away if they dont want to? Why-“
“Enough. Your friend has arrived.”
Zuke manages to get up to the tower, finding that these fights are a lot harder without may. He sees may in the chair and goes to rescue her only to be stopped by tatiana. The two fight eachother, with zuke barely being able to avoid losing. Zuke gets knocked down but before tatiana can freeze him too may attacks from behind.
Zuke managed to fight her long enough that she was letting her power on may slip till may could move again. The two fight her side by side till they win. With a very disoriented tatiana on tge fround they realized that all the artists seemed confused and lost after their defeat. As they wonder that out loud, a voice interrupts them.
Kliff
Kliff shows up at the end of the fight congratulating them for helping form a new nsr. And joining it as their newest members.
Theyre understandbly confused when this happens, but dumbfounded when kliff reveals who they really are
Theyre the real head as nsr as they revealed, and kliff has been controlling everyone by force
kliff is a psychic genius, but his powers arent strong enough to control so many prople, much less ones as strong as the nsr artists
So he made chips that went in heads to amplify their powers, mainly his mind control powers, and when he hot a hold of sayus team he was able to make them upgrade the chips, but had no need to use em yet
However the chips had been wearing off, and he no way to get the update into them cause they had weakened do much he was shut out unless the artists were severly weakened
Kliff tricked b2j into fighting nsr to weaken them so the chips could be reprogrammed to be stronger, while simultaneously getting the two out of hiding so they can be controlled as well
Zuke is still confused but mayday stiffens remembering the injury she woke up to in eve’s realm
“Seems one off you figured it out”
“Wh-may?”
Mayday
He activate the chips and while its a bit useless on tatiana given how weak she is, it works well on mayday
Zuke is frozen st first seeing mayday gets into a fighting stance at him and is blown off his feet when she attacks
Zuke mainly dodges and tries to talk to her as she attacks mercilessly
Zuke is reluctant having to fight her but when nothing he says snaps her out of it, he realizes he has no choice
The fight isnt easy as mays powers out match his easy in power
However he has one advantage over her
Control
May is strong, but has poor control over her powers
So he uses that against her to make her powers backfire on her till he manages to win
She collapses to the ground and doesnt move and this freaks zuke out till he finds her pulse
Kliff part 2
Now zuke is beyond pissed, with may out cold by his feet
“What the hell is wrong with you?!”
Kliff (k): see you will be a perfect canidate. Tatiana was right, you two make a good team.
“Why are you even doing this?!”
K: “why? WHY?! HUMANS! THAT’S WHY!”
K: humans are vile disgusting creatures that hunt torture and kill us for sport or entertainment or some bullshit holier than thou attitude, pretending they were some kind of savior for humanity!
K: I am going to build up the strongest mutants and unify them, to protect the weaker who cant fight back. And any human that dares to stumble across here? The artists will KILL them.
“Wtf kind of logic is that?! Youve taken away their will and are trying to make them into killing machines!”
K: hah. It doesnt matter if you understand, you just need to obey.
“You know for someone who hates humans so much, you sure sound like some ive met before.”
This pisses kliff off and the fight starts though its not much of one
Like i said kliff is a weak pyschic relies on controlling stronger mutants in order to get what he wants
So he’s easily beaten
So Kliff activates something on the satellite, it was meant to send out a beam over the city to control everyone all at once
But it wasnt ready and kliff causes it to short circuit and fall
Zuke panics cause hes the only one at ready to stop it but then tatiana and may start coming around, cause when the satellite went out of commission so did the signal that Kliff was using to amplify his powers and control over them
It mostly happens like it does with thr original game in stopping the satellite including kliff getting smacked, but with more confusion because Tatiana doesn’t really know who they are since she’s been under control for so long
They stop the satelite and kliff keeps trying to fix it so he can regain control before eventually slinking off
The end kind of has them all talking and figuring out what’s happened and where to go from there
They keep nsr around but allow others being controlled to go free once their chips are removed and actually make it a place of protection, rather than the oppresive fear it had been before
And there is a lot of aftermath stories if you all have questions about them

1: Catoptromancy
It had been a few years since she had last come this way. Already, nothing was at all like she remembered. Years back, Traverse Town didn’t even have its proper name; it was only known as the settlement cobbled together from Gaia’s refugees—from Radiant Garden to Corel to Nibelheim—a hybrid of survivalist shelters and shanty-town as more and more hunks of unfortunate Worlds materialized in the outskirts, sometimes bringing hundreds of new people with them. A few years ago there weren’t quite five thousand folk crowded in here, getting by on salvaged bits and crisis aid given by the Elveshmean military and the Elvaan Źduhace (the Elven Dragoon Order). If not for the work of Radiant Garden’s more progressive intellectuals, Gaia’s ties to Elves and even fellow Human nations would not have been so strong, and if not for these ties, the alarm at the sudden radio silence would not have been so swift in onset. If not for this, Traverse Town would likely have remained a guttering, suffering den of survivors—languishing and on their own.
Aqua sympathized.
As she disembarked the transport cruiser into a grey, stale-smelling rain she noticed immediately the place’s changes. She pulled the sides of her hooded poncho together, pausing by the platform’s railing to look out over the newly-constructed bell tower, and the mis-matched buildings surrounding it. Formerly, this area had been half-built and strewn with piles of salvaged rubble. The wrecked hulk of an Interspace-Airship hybrid, the Highwind Mark IV, had lain propped up on blocks, its engines burst and drained of power. It had since been moved—or taken apart, likely to go towards the Mark V. Shaking the oil rivulets dripping down her hood away, Aqua brought herself back to the present. Traverse Town was now equipped with signs; she began following some, scanning the terraced levels and built-into underpasses for signs of nightly lodging. A warm, elevated porch caught her eye—its swinging sign lit up with a covered manatech lantern, the orange glow making “Bedknobs+Broomsticks: Food—Rooms—Entertainment—Vacancies Available” legible through the weather. She climbed the stairs to the entrance, taking a moment to shake the rain from her poncho again, to not drip a soot-marred trail all through the place. The least she could hope for was that this one wasn’t already grimy, and without her griming it up for the proprietor.
It did turn out to be clean inside, mostly. A few active spiderwebs decorated the high, out-of-the-way corners, but a polished oak bar-top was well-shined, and a row of recessed booth seating looked to be mostly clear minus some spice containers. It was a tiny place, a staircase and a cramped elevator entrance intruding halfway into the diner-like area. Clearly, most of the establishment was on ascending floors and this scant hole-in-the-wall was the only important thing besides cheap beds. At first she assumed she was alone on the floor—some clanking in the doorway behind the bar area implied one distracted kitchen worker only. A sound like sheafs of silk rubbing together turned her head, and the slight, constant movements caught her peripheral vision.
She jolted, instinct forcing her to grip thin air after a Keyblade that would no longer come to her. After all this time, she’d assumed she would be used to the full range of weird entities roaming the Three Realms, but apparently this… entity, was still a surprise.
He was wedged into the outermost side of the closest booth, in the shadowy corner. His feet were propped up on the table and half-crossed, but it was not their electric-green claws and webbed toes the color of “drowning victim” that was so terrifying: The rest of him was by far more strange. Tall, slender, with swept-back pointed ears and some of his dark reddish hair braided into an Elf-Knot identified his species—and the bustling array of mutations he bore brought that species into question again. Above the protective gloves and bracers he wore, his forearms were that drowned-blue color, and slithering with several large tentacles each. His ripped jeans were a similar story at the hip joint—and even more sprung from a point near his shoulder blades. The deep V-neck of his shirt allowed a travesty of more subtle issues to be on display: His shoulders and across his collarbones had stubby, green quills protruding from them, the veins of his neck close to the surface were a green hue too and hideously engorged. On second glance, Aqua suppressed a shudder of revulsion as she saw the veins on his arms and even one faintly popping from his temple were the same. A moment passed in which this Grey Elf paid no attention to her—engrossed with a ratty-looking, thin book propped open against one knee—but then, vivid purple eyes flicked over to the onlooker.
“Well, well, cydezé,” the twisted elf greeted her, gaze flicking over her from the Keybearer’s Chi-Rho emblem on her chest to the lacing ornaments over her corset and spur-stabilizers on her boots, landing at last on her muted blue hair and bright eyes. “They say it’s rude to stare, stranger.”
“Sorry, I, uh…” Aqua stalled her movements by force of will, as instinct was sending her creeping backwards. “I couldn’t help but look.”
“’Swhat they all say!” He snickered, snapping his book closed. She couldn’t be so sure of this relaxed, humored response; her eyes lingered on the tentacles as they coiled back over themselves. “No offense taken at all, eh, miss..?”
“I’m Aqua,” she suppressed a flinch, especially as one of his eyebrows raised in intense interest.
“Aqua, eh?” Finally, he slid the mutated pair of feet down from sight. “Excellent. I’m named Oppidimy—though some call me the ‘Octomancer’. Or a walking accident.” He chuckled again, grinning.
“Now we’re introduced, at least—so! You didn’t come in here after me, I’ll assume, but surely you’re looking for someone.”
Aqua’s brow twitched as it was tempted to furrow, “What makes you say that?”
“You have that ‘looking for someone’ quality,” he smirked, tipping a hand towards the scene outside, “Its a safe assumption. Most who come here are, in fact, trying to find people.”
The young Keybearer half-bit her tongue; appearance aside, she was unsure of how wise it would be to make even a guarded mention of her goals. Oppidimy was clearly a mage of some sort: What kind was as uncertain as how he’d come to be half-elf, half-aberration. And what kind of magic-user he was made all the difference.
“Actually, I wasn’t looking for someone,” she chanced it. She figured she could downplay the importance it had, leaving little clue that the lost item in question was the sacred Keyblade. “Something, actually. Several somethings.”
“Lost some stuff?”
“Actually… more like stolen.” She sucked in a breath, reigning in the residual outrage that lingered even years later, “A sword, and a set of plate armor. They were very important to me and I don’t have much idea of who took them from where I last saw them.”
Oppidimy clicked his tongue, eyes hooding in a disgusted expression as he nodded.
“That’s cute—people really are out there like that. World’s in the process of ending and they’ll still try robbin’ you blind.” Aqua blinked hard at the statement, but he carried on overtop of her visible bewilderment, “Odds are, the culprit’s one of a short and nasty list; the only types who would be out to steal anything that wasn’t provisions, these days.
“I might be able to help y’ out,” a slow, crooked smile spread over his pointed features, and his gloved fingertips settled together into a triangle of scheming thoughts. “At least, if you’ll have me. At the very least I could help rule out some of these skeezballs.”
“And how would you accomplish this?” Her voice turned suspicious, and the Rurcelan mutant obviously cottoned on. He disbanded the triangle of wicked contemplations with a series of assuring waves, shaking his head and chuckling.
“Ah, ah, I know that tone—relax! My methods are one hundred percent legitimate, completely moral. Even though I blend in quite well with society’s villains and monsters, the ‘look’ was not exactly intentional. But, if you’ll take up my offer, you’ll see how it serves to my advantage.”
As Oppidimy began to stand and tuck his book amongst the grips of the tentacles issuing from one elbow, Aqua tilted her head:
“…So you specialize in espionage?”
The elf raised a gloved finger to his lips and the quills on his bare shoulders went rigid, suddenly looking grim and serious.
“Not so loud,” He slid past her, the Keybearer wearing a stone face even as she cringed internally at the tendrils coming inches from brushing by. Stepping towards the stairs, he turned back to call over his shoulder, smirk returned: “Come see me some time if you need a hand, yeh? I’m in 32. I’d suggest giving that old office door a knock so you can get a room of your own before it gets too late.” He began to cackle, “Owner’s a bit narcoleptic, so knock hard!” His laughter echoed, becoming cartoonish as he ascended the narrow stairwell and the raucous noise faded out. She paused a few seconds just to breathe.
Never had she encountered someone quite so exaggerated—it felt like a front—or a trap. She could be the intended victim, but just as easily the intended bait, a lure to draw in the unsavory targets he’d referred to. Only further investigation would bring that to light.
-------------------------
As suspected—the place was a cheap joint for cheap beds. The need in town was high, and the cramped room she was assigned was, at the very least, livable. Crumpled under the stiff, rough-textured outer sheet, every attempt to calculate the dubiousness of the elf’s offer, versus the likelihood she could finally close in on her lost Keyblade, set her sleep back another hour. And another. But slowly, surely, sleep and Aqua arrived at an uneasy truce.
She had the dream again. Different—and clearer.
The vision of that round, white, metal-plated room, the gaps in this armoring (or acoustic featuring?) showing faint glints of pipes, cables, and other hints at underlying manatech. It mocked her. She was for a second so infuriated at its recurrence that she almost missed the new features: Insignias in a stark black marked the walls, familiar but strange. It was much like the Keybearer’s Chi-Rho—or the Heartless Emblem, itself very much a cheap plagiarizing of the order’s sign—upside-down, so that the spikes forming the “Chi” took the peak position.
The miasma of her unconscious half-lucidity swam around her as she struggled to turn around and face the raised central area. She had already seen what was arranged there during the prior dream states. Her armor, and her Keyblade, where she knew it last. If the passage of time was to be believed, someone had been keeping it tidy and dust-free.
The chair was new. Aqua’s jaw hung in silence a moment, unable to react, as she faced its occupant. Outside of this recurring hallucination she knew she was asleep—and she wondered if he, within the dream, was also. His dark-toned skin and wildly-arranged silver hair were uncomfortably familiar, and his face itself also so but for different reasons. His ears were slightly-pointed as a half-elf’s would be, but since his eyes were closed she couldn’t tell if he possessed the mish-mash of colors and features she dreaded. She had seen this man before, she was sure this was… but somehow, her mind refused to let her assume this was the same person. Or persons, technically. He had to be, and yet… she was sure this quietly seated man was another entirely.
Her frown began to appear, giving some control of her face and voice back. Whoever this dead-ringer for Terra (and Xehanort) was, there was no likelier suspect for the role of the one who had relocated this Chamber—her Keyblade with it.
“Where are you?”
Aqua nearly jumped, though her dream-self felt far too sluggish for it. Exactly as and exactly what she had been gathering up energy to say the man with closed eyes had asked in a low murmur, devoid of feeling. Though, this she supposed could be from him truly being asleep—mumbling and aware of her regardless.
“No,” she barked, “You tell me. Where are you? And who are you?”
The man paused, eye movements flickering behind their lids. In painfully slow motions, he began to shake his head.
“I cannot answer you. You must tell me first.” He was still almost deadpan, with a hint of tired annoyance creeping in now.
“You can’t force me to tell you, and you can’t do anything to me. This is a damn dream-state. So, if you want anything, you first.”
He huffed, his brows twitching, and the sleek black fabric that made up his gloves straining as his grip on the armrests tightened.
“No,” he growled. “You don’t understand. I cannot answer you first because I have no answer. I don’t know who I am.” He let silence return to the humming void around them, becoming neutral in expression, “But perhaps, if you tell me your name, I can know more.”
A spike of hope softened her expression; the frustration and the intonation was so like his, melded neatly with the rigid aura of calm he imposed on himself—two traits so Terra-esque and incongruous with each other they seemed unlikely to be performed. And very un-Xehanort, in this way.
“I’m Aqua. Do you have a name, by chance?”
“I do,” he nodded, brows knitting slightly, “But it would mean nothing to you. It is a chosen name, taken after the time you seem to recognize me from.”
“Are you Terra?” She forged ahead, prepared for a let-down.
“I am aware of who that name belongs to, but I do not think so,” he surprised her, “Before you ask: I am equally aware of the one called Xehanort. I am not him.
“You have seen this Chamber before, haven’t you?” A dim inkling of curiosity entered his soft tone, surprising her alongside the change of subject. “Years ago I began to see this place. In my dreams at first, and then, every time I closed my eyes. I suspect you saw these visions. You saw the way into the room, hidden in what is left of the bastion of Radiant Garden.”
“How did you figure that out?” But, already guessing the answer, her eyes wandered to the sections of her armor propped on the central dais.
“I have memory I can’t explain,” he began. “I remember the name of the one this Keyblade, and its armor manifestation, belongs to. Aqua.” Sudden, jarring, he seemed unable to resist letting his eyes snap open and zero in on her with their bright, orange intensity, “This belongs to you, doesn’t it?”
An immediate shock came over her—but not only from being eye-to-eye. As soon as it happened, a spell broke. She felt roaring in her ears; the Chamber of Repose winked out and she was filled with the sickening sensation of half-awake, confused floating just above one’s body. Psyche-wise, she felt slammed back into her self as she bolted awake, still curled under the cheap inn’s terrible sheets, the room quiet and empty.
She sat up, waiting for some soreness that never came. A vivid dream. Not exactly, but closer than really being there. For a minute she just listened; a few muffled clangs of activity echoed from some lower floor, and she could hear through razor-thin walls the sounds of folk opening and shutting doors, exchanging bleary greetings, and going about the act of “morning”. A sliver of weak light creeping in between shut curtains confirmed the early, small hour. She collected her wits, and stood. She wasn’t getting any more sleep now anyways.
