my deck arrived today and i wanted to show off how hypnotic the foil is because i feel like the pictures don't do it justice.

the mirror oracle was designed and fully illustrated by amrit brar (@musterniillustrates), published by 13th press. it serves as a companion to the marigold tarot.

from the guidebook, amrit writes: "life and death are recurring themes in this deck. the artwork, specifically the borders, take a great deal of inspiration from Indian and Mughal miniature painting. the rock pigeon and its skeleton frame the border of every card, mirrored to one another and surrounded by foliage. they reinforce the cycle of life and death as it repeats into eternity, through every experience, emotion, or plight depicted in the cards."

Oh boi, primer postito de mis tablillas y entrando a un challenge. Así es, trataré de participar en el Codember 2022 organizado por @elalmacen-rp! Y el tema del primer par de días es Huesos / Bones!

Es una tablilla simple de rol, inspirada por los Shitty Horoscopes hechos por musterniillustrates  ✨ Usa una paleta de colores grises, pero si gustan pueden cambiar los colores a su preferencia. Y los anillos tienen una pequeña animación también, hehe.

are you per chance following reichen--art already for skeleton art needs? do you have any favourite artists on tumblr, skeleton or otherwise?

it's been rough, to put it mildly, yea

i follow them already! i also like musterniillustrate's stuff, and have bought patches and pins from them.

beyond skeletons, outside my friends, i don't follow artists on tumblr very closely at all.

if my brain wasn't the world's saddest pretzel rn, i could dig up the names of a couple tumblr artists whose works i've actually sought out, instead of reblogging just works that i ran into. one of them has very striking bold colors, mostly primaries, and did a whole animation thing for october. another has very airy black and white style and draws mystical or horror-adjacent nudes.
