Are you shy to ask from a Lord that is shy to return you empty handed?

When choosing a spouse in this dunya choose someone who has a thirst for beneficial knowledge, someone who always makes an effort to improve his/her deen and his/her relationship with Allah and most importantly teach yourself to be that person too... seek knowledge like there is no tomorrow

I’ve been struggling to fall back to sleep after suhoor this Ramadan and today I decided to give up and just stay awake doing something instead of just letting my thoughts push and pull me for 2 hours.
I didn’t want to though at that moment, I wanted to sleep. I knew I needed it. Tonight would be the 27th night and I needed to conserve as much energy as I could for it. Reluctantly and defeated, I opened my eyes and sat up in my bed.
Another reason why I resisted getting up so much was because I’ve been feeling inadequate with my worship. Allah, The Creator of everything, The Truth, The Highest, deserves the best praise and the best forms of worship. And ashamedly, I didn’t think mine was enough.
But as I got up and my growing fears taunted me with pictures of myself becoming too overcome by exhaustion to pray tonight, a thought crossed my mind; I don’t know what will happen tonight or ever for that matter.
Maybe the sleep I’m giving up right now, the sleep every part of my body craves, is so beloved to Allah that he makes standing in prayer tonight easy for me. Maybe my reward will be greater than I imagine.
I don’t know what Allah will accept from me or for certainty how he’ll reward me for them, but what I can do is purify my intentions and hope in Allah’s infinite mercy.
Then as the fears stopped flaming, I clicked on a Quran recitation that I had recorded at my masjid months back.
Subhanallah—this was the ayah that welcomed me.

Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Whoever obeys me, obeys Allah, and whoever disobeys me, disobeys Allah, and whoever obeys the ruler I appoint, obeys me, and whoever disobeys him, disobeys me."
[Sahih al-Bukhari : 7137]

Allah is fair if you make dua and have sabr. You're special. Because everyone can make duas, but not everyone can be patient with what they asked for.

The main supplication of Ibrahim ibn Adham رحمه الله was:
"Oh Allah, move me from the humiliation of disobeying You to the honor of obeying You.
