Mi vida en festivales y conciertos Vol. 1 Bienvenidos a “Conciertopía”

Me pasa seguido que mucha gente no puede entender por qué el dinero que gano lo gasto, en su mayoría, en conciertos y festivales. No comprenden que esta es la razón por la que trabajo, para poder ir a ver música en vivo. Creo que, por más que trate de explicárselos o hacerlos entender, nunca lo lograría…a menos de que pudieran estar dentro de mi cuerpo y mi mente durante uno de estos eventos, para que sintieran y experimentaran lo que yo vivo.

Así ha sido la mayor parte de mi vida. Recuerdo a la perfección la primera vez que fui a un concierto y recuerdo a la perfección a todos y cada uno de los eventos a los que he tenido la fortuna de asistir. Porque sí, para mi cada día de concierto o festival es una fortuna y una oportunidad. Una oportunidad para disfrutar, para olvidarme de cualquier preocupación, para bailar, para brincar, para cantar, para conocer gente y música nueva…es una oportunidad de ser.

Soy fiel creyente de que la música es mucho más que una buena canción o un buen disco o un buen grupo. La música es un vínculo, es toda una cultura. Lo he visto y vivido un sinfín de veces. Ya sea por una, dos, cinco o doce horas, la gente que se encuentra reunida para ver a cierta banda, persona o DJ en un escenario, se vuelve un mismo individuo. Por ese periodo de tiempo no existen las guerras y el odio, no importa el color de tu piel ni tu raza, no importa de qué cultura o país provienes, no importa qué religión practicas ni lo que traes puesto. Nos conecta esa emoción de escuchar y cantar tu canción favorita, esa canción que te acompañó cuando pasabas por un momento obscuro o durante uno de los momentos más felices de tu vida. La canción que te hace bailar como gusano atolondrado, sin importar lo que puedan pensar de ti. La canción que te hizo llorar o que logró expresar lo que tus palabras nunca pudieron. Esa canción que te trasporta a un lugar en el que no existen las barreras y todo puede ser. He presenciado y sentido en carne propia cómo la música puede ser un refugio, un medio para desahogarse, para ser uno mismo y para expresarse.

Me he conmovido al escuchar a miles de personas unidas en un mismo canto bajo un mismo escenario, a la par de grande estrellas de la música. He tenido la suerte de ver a algunas leyendas tocar esas canciones que marcaron la historia musical. He sentido en la piel y en el corazón cuando una canción, más allá de eso, llega a ser una protesta y un himno. A veces podemos subestimar el poder y alcance de una buena pieza.

No soy músico, pero sí soy una gran aficionada y estas son solo algunas razones por las cuales me apasiona la música. Estas son algunas razones por las cuales invierto tanto tiempo y dinero en conciertos y festivales. Para mí son mucho más que eso. Son experiencias de vida, millones de recuerdos y aventuras, sonrisas, lágrimas de emoción y horas de baile y euforia. Esos son los momentos en los que me siento más viva que nunca, los momentos que me han permitido conocer lugares increíbles y ver el mundo de otra manera y, como si fuera poco, me han acercado a personas que se han vuelto elementales en mi vida.
