LISA RELEASES NEW CHRISTMAS TRACK “MOONLIT FLOOR (KISS ME) (SANTA BABY REMIX)”

Last Friday, world renowned rapper, singer, dancer, and style icon, LISA released her brand-new holiday song, “Moonlit Floor (Kiss Me) (Santa Baby Remix),” out now via LLOUD Co./RCA Records. On the new single, LISA rings in the season with the Christmas remix of her latest single “Moonlit Floor". Fans are thrilled to receive this early Christmas gift as they eagerly await the release of her debut solo album on February 28th 2025.

Originally released last month, “Moonlit Floor” became the third single to debut in the Top 10 Spotify Global Chart and will appear on her debut solo album, Alter Ego out February 28th 2025 - pre order HERE. Announced last week, Lisa’s debut solo album Alter Ego will emulate five characters each representing a unique personality. They are represented by the five points on a star, which has become a key emblem in the campaign. The announcement of LISA’s debut solo album comes at the tail end of a record-breaking year full of exciting new solo music and high energy performances.

LISA also saw success with her preceding singles “New Woman,” featuring GRAMMY-winning singer-songwriter Rosalía, and “Rockstar” which quickly propelled to the top of the charts following its release. “Rockstar” debuted at #1 on the Billboard Global Ex. US Chart and #4 on the Billboard Global 200 weekly while debuting at #8 on Spotify’s Global Daily Chart and charting in more than 20 markets worldwide. The single also held the #1 spot in Thailand on Spotify, LISA’s home country, for 10 consecutive days and now has nearly 427 million streams. The official music video for “Rockstar,” directed by Henry Scholfield and choreographed by Sean Bankhead, amassed an impressive over 265 million views to date and hit #1 on YouTube’s global weekly chart following release. 

LISA recently made headlines on the cover of Billboard as their first ever global cover star. She graced the cover of the magazine for ten Billboard editions including Billboard US, Billboard Arabia, Billboard Brazil, Billboard Canada, Billboard Espanol, Billboard Italia, Billboard Japan, Billboard Korea, and Billboard Philippines. The magazine declared, “LISA has star power in spades” and heralded her as “one of pop’s most exciting stars.” Read the full story here. i know people said no but i'm here to say i can actually understand the joker out/kpop thing?? jo have a less clean image but i'd argue they're STILL very aware of their image and they're arguably pretty "clean"/cute as far as bands go (kpop idols also drink and smoke like crazy sorry to say lol 💀) the fandom demographics and behaviours are also pretty similar (and i've seen a lot of kpop/former kpop fans in the fandom). it's not 100% the same but i kinda get it idk

i kind of get what you're saying, but like... i don't think making sure your image is just about "clean" enough to get brand deal/sponsorship money as a growing younger band is that unusual for non-kpop bands

idk how else to explain it so bear with me here, but the left is how i think of kpop bands trying to fix the cracks in their clean image and the right is joker out "fixing" the cracks in their "clean" image:

"I wrote ‘SHIMMY SHAKE.’ late-mid 2023. At the time all I had been writing was sad music with slow production, I was starting to get bored of the same sound; however, I was still heart broken and struggled to write anything beyond feeling hurt.

To challenge myself I tried to write a sad song over super happy and warm production. The result was ‘SHIMMY SHAKE.’!

‘SHIMMY SHAKE.’ is about trying to move on from somebody who has already moved on from you. All the memories and time I spent with this person held so much weight in my heart, but for them it seemed like I was just another person.

Girls Night Out :D
