A comic I made for me and my friend's auuuu. Poco's on the run from some nasty people, so he joined the Goldarm Gang. It was a good month or two! Until the past caught up.

I got a very early lesson in how not-dangerous cities are b/c I was 19 when I moved from The Woods(tm) to The Big City(tm) for the first time and I was also suicidally depressed and I got it into my head that if I spent enough time wandering about in The Bad Part of Town(tm) eventually some manner of Dangerous Criminal(tm) would show up and attempt to do violence to me, which sounded like a decently rock-and-roll way to die when you're 19 years old and have a lot of untreated mental illnesseses.

So what happened was I spent a lot of free time getting drunk and aimlessly wandering around the city, where I had lots of interesting conversations with lots of perfectly nice people, which helped a lot with the suicidal depression it turned out.

Part 4 is finally here!! The last few months got so busy, but I would be lying if i said i didn't spend almost every day daydreaming about/ wishing i could be working on this instead; this project has been such a fun break from work and i feel like each part makes me crazier and crazier as things gets worse and worse (better and better) LOL. The composition has been sooo fun to play with, and I've been having a blast trying to figure out how to write these guys in character despite the angst and chaos :] And, considering this comic project kinda came out of nowhere and disrupted some other comic plans i had for dbhc, finding little ways to rearrange how i'm presenting lore has been really fun >:3

Thank you for the SCRUMPTIOUS Poco Edgar comic meal- May I ask if we know who pulled the trigger? Is it someone we're familiar with, or just an unnamed gang for the au? Also, how did Poco and Edgar get together in the AU as well? Was it before or after Edgar joined the goldarm gang?

The person who pulled the trigger is Gunslinger Colt, who is considered an entirely different person from Classic Colt.

(I can't take credit for Villain!Gunslinger though, that honor goes to @starrysupercell, who originally had him as a villain in her stories. Now we kinda use Gunslinger as a stock villain in our aus.)

In this AU, dubbed Musical Strains, Poco is an undead with the rare power to heal people. Gunslinger had him holed up in a house on a hill in a small town, keeping him locked up in it to sell Poco's powers to desperate people. Sick of being trapped, Poco runs away one night, and joins the Goldarm Gang to get a safe trip to the other side of the desert.

Belle, intrigued by this mysterious little desperado on her doorstep, lets him join, and the rest is all gang shenanigans as Poco learns what a real found family is like.

Edgar is already a member of the Goldarm Gang, and Belle assigns Poco to his tent because the two of them are dubbed the youngest members of the group. At first, things are a bit icy between them, with Poco a bit scared of Edgar and Edgar a bit suspicious of Poco. But close proximity makes them interact with each other, regardless of how they feel, and gradually, they warm up to each other.

One things lead to another, and now they hold hands :)

Now, if only Argent would stop trying to come after the Gang to get his moneymaker back...
