I’ll explain the songs

Song 1: The Wild West

This is the thirteenth song of SMG4 The Musical and is about Meggy and Tari encouraging everybody to go to the Wild West which leads up to the events in Western Spaghetti.

Song 2: Both Wrong

This is the fourteenth song of SMG4 The Musical and is about SMG4 and SMG3 confirming both of them were wrong in the entire rivalry they had and become friends after Mario stole SMG3’s notebook and SMG4 had a chip on his shoulder when it happened until SMG3 finally just snapped after keeping his disdainful thoughts to himself, he finally opens up to SMG4 and his hypocrisy and SMG4 finally snaps out of it and realizes he was a douche bag and SMG3 decides to do the same and they form an alliance to get the notebook back, now in SMG4 The Musical, WOTFI 2023 and Western Spaghetti will be set at the same time meaning SMG4, SMG3 and Mario will not be in the Western Spaghetti part of the musical.

Song 3: Confidence

This is the fifteenth song of SMG4 The Musical and takes place in the digital ether where Tari tells Meggy that she has to have confidence in order to defeat One Shot Wren from the Simulation.

Song 4: Roll The Die

This is the sixteenth song of SMG4 The Musical and the second song from an SMG4 episode being added into the musical, we all know what happens during this song which is most commonly referred to as “WOTFI 2023 Rap Battle”.

Act V, the final act, will be in production on Tuesday

got a few in my head but the big one so far/the one i wanted to start off with is be more chill! straight-up one of my first ever musicals + one of my favorite all time. like- i love it sm i got the book AND finished it vs dear even hansen + hamilton FUGCHV

this one is pretty much self explanatory {esp if ur familiar with it}: jeremy is smg4, micheal is mario, smg3 is christina, and the squip is mr. puzzles. i have some ideas for the side cast but for now im just doing the main cast and goD THIS WAS NOT SUPPOSED TO BIG i went a little overboard than expected 😭

anyway been feeling a lil iffy with my art so mb if it may look a little wonky?? oof might be on smol hiatus btw too much irl stuff happening smh 😔

I was listening to "Skinny" by Billie Eilish and started imagining it from Smg3's perspective, looking back on his life kinda, and then book- angst ✨ I definitely think his newest design was a major improvement, both visually and model wise, but I still enjoy his first redesign and appreciate its existence. It's kinda nice to watch him evolve and idk, just wanted to practice drawing in a more 'canon-compliant' style while being angsty ✨💜 so here is some food 🌸

I just realized that I haven’t posted any recent updates with SMG4 The Musical in a while so here we go

Act II and Act III is finished, I’ll break it down here

~Act II~

Act II is 41 pages long and consists of three songs

A.S.S

Legalize

And

You’re A Hero

I’ll explain the songs for Act II

Song 1: A.S.S

This is the sixth song of SMG4 The Musical and is heavily based off The Military from Seussical and will have a military vibe to it, the only one singing this song is SMG4, the song happens when Mario’s Illegal Operation takes place which is when they’re smuggling the anime

Song 2: Legalize

This is the seventh song of SMG4 The Musical and will feature Axol, Saiko, SMG4, Bob and Boopkins in Japan singing about how they want to legalize/unban anime

Song 3: You’re A Hero

This is the eighth song of SMG4 The Musical and occurs at Desti’s funeral, Meggy sings this song and explains how Desti is a hero and will never be forgotten

Act III is 38 pages and consists of 4 songs

I’ll explain the songs

Song 1: I’m Falling In Love

This is the ninth song of SMG4 The Musical and focuses on how Axol falls in love with Melony, the crew will meet Melony in an extremely different way than how they met in the series since the YouTube Arc will not be added

Song 2: Hypocrite

This is the tenth song of SMG4 The Musical and is about how SMG4 and SMG3 debate on who is the real hypocrite, I imagined it to have a jazzy and upbeat tune to it, Mario has only about one line and is watching the whole debate eating popcorn reminding me of the scene from SpongeBob when SpongeBob and Patrick are arguing and Squidward is watching the two argue while eating cake, that’s the scenario but with SMG4, SMG3 and Mario

Song 3: My Best Creation

This is the eleventh song of SMG4 The Musical and shows SMG0’s plan, how he became himself and why he’s destroying universes, this is added because the Revelations Arc will not be added in the musical

Song 4: Zero

This is the twelfth song of SMG4 The Musical and so far the only song from an SMG4 episode being added into the musical, we all know what happens during this song which is most commonly referred to as “WOTFI 2021 Rap Battle”

I have made a final decision that there will be five acts for the musical, meaning the musical is 3/5ths finished with production, Act IV is now in production as we speak
