TSMG4 fic for @tiredsmashbros birthday!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY AGAIN TOMM!!!

“Dude, could you quit it already?! I’m trying to work here!” SMG4 snapped at TSB. To SMG4’s utter disappointment, him snapping at the cartoon man didn’t stop him from bothering the blue-clad guardian that’s trying to edit a video. 

“Ohohohoho~! This is so much fun though, SMG4~!” TSB cheerfully sang out, being obnoxiously loud. This only served to frustrate SMG4 further. Not only is SMG4 trying to do work, but he was also getting increasingly worried and mildly impatient for when maybe SMG3 comes back and could distract TSB. 

At this point, he decided to just stop screaming at TSB and not give the cartoon man more reactions, even when his hat was stolen. He did occasionally feel TSB tug at his hair, which wasn’t actually that annoying to him. 

Eventually, there was a loud crash, making SMG4 whip his chair and head around. As a result, that flung TSB and gave him a small startle, making him immediately reach up to make sure his shades stayed on. TSB also quickly put SMG4’s hat back on the blue-clad guardian’s head, even if sloppily done. The two then briefly glanced at each other and, almost as if in sync, went to go check on what that loud noise had been. 

Once they got outside, he heard the meme noises of Beeg and barks of Eggdog, which alarmed SMG4 very quickly, sprinting over to the tree that seemed to be the source of where the memes are making sounds from.

“Beeg! Eggdog! Hold on, I’ll try to get you two down!” SMG4 panickedly shouted, scrambling at the base of the tree and attempting to climb it. TSB, however, was simply watching, letting out a few small snickers out here and there.

“Trying to hug the tree or something over there~?” TSB teased, a wide and toothy grin spread on his face. 

“Shut up! I’m trying my best over here and you’re not helping whatsoever!” SMG4 hissed through his teeth, clearly struggling after several failed times to claim the tree and panicking over when SMG3 actually would come back. 

After throwing a few more teasing comments at SMG4, he felt a bit bad and trotted over to SMG4, putting a hand on his chest to try and signal to back away from the tree and to quit trying. The blue-clad guardian was caught a little off guard with the hand on his chest, but he still moved a bit away from the tree, clasping his hands together in worry. 

TSB stretched his limbs up to grasp onto the two memes, carefully trying to not drop either of them as he got them safely down. SMG4 just ran up to TSB and gave him a huge hug once Beeg and Eggdog were back on the ground, which probably partially startled TSB, but he hugged back nonetheless. A hug is a hug, after all.

SMG4 started to think that maybe TSB isn't nearly as bad nor obnoxious as he initially thought and maybe just was being playful. When he realized he’s still hugging TSB, he let go and said a thank you to the cartoon man. 

As soon as possible, SMG4 walked back into the castle with the two memes and TSB, starting to really rethink about how he viewed TSB. The guy was just being silly and playful and didn’t really intend on any actual harm, even if it was while SMG4 was trying to work and not be bothered by anyone. 

“Hey TSB, I’m sorry for snapping at you like that earlier,” SMG4 said, glancing over at TSB as they walked back into SMG4’s room. 

“Eh, I could’ve gone through worse,” TSB replied with a small chuckle. “Are you gonna keep on working then?” 

“Yeah, I am,” SMG4 replied with a small smile. He trotted over to his desk and sat back down with TSB following close behind him. 

“Heyyyyyy, SMG4, you know what would be soooo funny~?” TSB inquired with a sly smile.

SMG4 only turned around and cocked his head in puzzlement. He glanced right to left, then back to TSB. “...Uh. No?”

“This.” TSB then cupped SMG4’s face and kissed him, which did completely catch SMG4 by surprise. Even with the surprise, SMG4 even leaned in himself, hesitantly holding onto TSB’s sides. 

All SMG4 was really hoping for was that SMG3 would NOT come in right now if he’s even back. Luckily for SMG4, that didn’t happen and they just kind of peacefully stayed like that for a few seconds before eventually letting go and SMG4 going back to work and TSB continuing to bother and tease him. 

SMG4 wouldn’t admit it, but he definitely had a smile on his face.
