I was wondering how you get so much inspiration and desire to draw stuff? Like how do you keep putting out so much cool and interesting works? Idk if it’s just the depression with me but I could never in a hundred years dream of making art like you do and as often too lol. Do you have any tips?

spend 2.5 years completely uninspired, draw only once or twice a month if even

blast awesome cool epic songs u like on repeat for an hour straight and imagine Characters in Scenarios to it

#theres a reason prob more than half my pieces have a song linked #its what keeps me going! and helps me storytell thru art #also I include step 1 only to refer to the fact that art is a cycle. i havent always outputted this much and wont always output this much #even w music #my real advice is stop drawing. like just stop.#the second i go outside to have a walk or hang out w friends or travel i get a ton of inspo! bc life is inspiring #ask

ive talked to a lot of ppl who have taken vyvanse now and i think ik a bit more on how i need to live on it

#1) dopamine drops on lower dosages or high dosage but in the evenings feel like hell and it wont ever stop you have to just breathe #you will stop breathing well and you wont notice it so you have to remember to breathe deeply. this helps immensely for some reason #2) you will stop processing the existence of food as a consumable thing and not just an object like Table or Cardboard. you will not want to #eat anything. you have to buy meal replacement shakes. sweetness is one of the only pleasant flavours. eat protein. eat as much protein as #you can. down those meal replacament shakes. get enough for a day. try not to into calorie deficits on vyvanse.#3) your mind will be searching for cognitively complex tasks and everything else dwarfs in comparison. dont lay down. do something.#4) you have to exercise. fully exercise at the gym not a home 20 min work out. you need to push your body right now so that you can be ok #5) nothing will be as intense and vivid and beautiful and there will be a layer of seperation between you snd reality even on a lower dosage #this is fine. this is the primary price. sunlight helps and so does doing complex tasks but you cant avoid this. remind yourself that this #is a self-induced thing and its temporary and itll fade.#6) youve been ship of theseus'd into a new person and this effect only increases later into the day. any conclusion you reach about yourself #is most likely not applicable to your non-vyvanse self.#7) carry chapstick around. keep drinking water. dry mouth starts 5 minutes after taking it #8) some of your friends have a reduced range of emotion and this makes them more stable but less capable of experiencing intense joys #and sadnesses. look at them. listen to their perspective. live like them when youre on the medication.#9) music is still gorgeous #10) you will feel very hot very fast. wear layers you can take off.#11) pick up a bow and shoot. keep shooting. keep going. shoot at least 50 arrows if you can. feel the pain in your arms and your shoulders #and then keep shooting.

actually i don't blame eurylochus at all because if my boss came back from a floating island with a bag and some magical creatures told me there was gold in it i too would open it the first chance i got

Had a thought

Listening to Mortius and Casper react to the Ocean Saga, they pointed out that theres a considerable tone shift for Odysseus in "Luck Runs Out" especially considering he just lost the first men in 10 years, including his best friend

Now the question

Could the shift of tone in "Luck Runs Out" to Odysseus sounding weirdly optimistic be because

1. he's in denial and desperate, straight up "ignore the past and go home asap have a mental breakdown later"

2. he's putting on a brave face for his crew so they still believe in their captain and general who got them all through the trojan war even after what just happened

3. he's trying to live up to Polities ideals as a way to "Remember Them" as he promised three songs ago

4. he's slowly descending into madness; and its all three of that

Or is there another reason (canon or not) that could explain that?

My personal favorite will be number 4, he's taking another step towards madness, being in denial about what just happened and trying to hold out and show a brave face to his crew to show them he's still capable and wanting desperately to believe in Polities ideals

I am genuinely so moved by the Natlan Live Symphony music. My god it's so beautiful, so power, so sincere, so much- it's everything I could ever ask for. Hoyo-mix genuinely never disappoints I swear.

I just wished so so bad they gave the same respect and care for the characters, story, and world. If the whole of Natlan and Sumuru were done this well, I think Genshin could have really done something truly incredible in video game history, or even entertainment history.

But no, they are still blatantly racist, colorist, and such. Until then, KEEP BOYCOTTING!!! DEMAND BETTER REPRESENTATION- BECAUSE THEY CAN DO IT!!!

how do you people study through extreme exhaustion? bc thats what always gets me during the exams & i cannot keep doing this forever

#the first time i had exams i kept going through pure desperation #bc i cared a lot more back then #but now i just dont see studying as important enough for that to work #redoing a year wont be fun but i know people the year below me & it wouldnt be bad either #anyways to pass this next exam i probably wont get any sleep #or maybe 2 hours #which i know is bad but since its only 2 exams this time im less worried about sleep & more about just getting through #so i need to know how to keep myself going #i have no available caffeine :( otherwise thatd be my first idea #but idk ive tried so many things #turning on the big light #movement breaks #short naps #sleeping a few hours & just getting up really early #music - which does help a lot but its not enough #mine #please no one ever taught me any of this i just keep guessing & hoping i get it right #like at school they do 'teach you to study' but really its just a few tips #mostly to take care of yourself & not pull all nighters #like okay. but what if i have to otherwise i will not pass? how do i manage that?#i never had to study before high school #& that combined with my horrible mental state at the time meant my grades went from really good to horrible #and yet somehow passing #but idk i dont want to be hanging on by a thread and just one mistake away from failing anymore #thats not fun #i think it was kinda good for me since i made peace with maybe failing & dont really care about that anymore? like if i fail thats okay too #but yeah anyway #im rambling so i dont have to start studying

im working on a new fic and its ghostflower bc yes

so this was supposed to be for ghostflower week and i was writing in advanced bc i was bored and i want to spent some time on each fic, but i started to realize that this would be too much for just 1 chapter so its just gonna be a big fic. maybe 5 or more chapters but im having fun with it.
