Ohhh that's an interesting one! I mean I could say something like Mr. Roboto (Styx) or even iRobot (Jon Bellion)...but I think we can get a bit more creative than that. So I give you the very first song I found by this particular band:

(Other possible songs I contemplated: Can't Find You Anywhere by State of Drama, Clattanoia covered by NateWantsToBattle, Delete Me by NateWantsToBattle, Drift Away from Steven Universe. The last reminds me specifically of the Grumbot who was left behind in S7 and it makes me sad to think about ;-;)

He’s big, I think he has a cute face, and I really like how terrifying he is 👉 👈 when I first saw him crawling around the tunnels and over the walls I was scared but also!!! Something else??? Then after you finish his section he starts jamming out like in the gif and I remember immediately thinking “Wow that’s so cute. He’s really cute. Wow I like him”

And then Help Wanted 2 came out last year where you have that minigame where he snaps his fingers to start the music, nods his head to the beat, and threateningly approaches the player while he judges their work,,, and I went 😳 what if he like me

I drew art of him earlier this year after watching some playthroughs (that I almost posted) 😭 I think it’s cute if you sat on his hand and he quietly appreciates you… and the little mini music man guys are your friends bc you’re DJ’s favorite human… I mean it’s Giant loves Tiny that’s my jam

I want his bouncer mode to activate while you’re working and you have to shut it down/reset him… he gets really close to you and you think hes going to kill you… but he recognizes you and he breaks out of his programming because look. Favorite human is here. Why was he chasing you, “Hi human :) I love u”

Not to mention he has a boss theme 😎

🎵if you have listened to the musical soundtrack, which song is your favorite and why?

ive really only listened to it front to back once so far (soon to change) and it takes a couple listens for songs to jump out at me when it comes to these things (ex: i used to get stuck looping candy store from heathers until i realized actually the whole entire musical is also a bop haha) but wherever we're going is like. the cutest song ever. the opening number is also pretty catchy, i remember getting jumpscared by the actual theme song as a motif in there! and hello, is anybody home is also really good. bro is going through it </3. honestly might just make a whole separate post to yap about the musical

i do think these have the same answer actually: ballad of czolgosz :D i just loooove the way it's structured and how "head of the line" gets recontextualized each time it's said, plus it's boppy and the choreo tends to be so fun. it's fun to sing too. it's also interesting to me how the balladeer uses nicknames for the other two ballads which i always took to be condescending, but he just uses leon's surname implying a modicum of respect? that's neat if so. plus czolgosz and the balladeer are my faves ^^ i really wanna do an animatic of it

hmmmm ok you know what i'm stealing @.pealeii's answer LMAO having sets really leaning into the Creepy Hell Carnival would be very cool. it's like one of the main reasons why a hypothetical movie adaptation, for me, would be best animated

and also...... i dunno, balladeer being more of a bitch? esp in the context of him turning himself into lee harvey oswald like in 2021. just this absolute menacing, righteous mofo underneath the whole paragon country singer persona. because to me the american dream is always prone to corruption; it's a flawed concept in general, and i'd like to see more productions lean into that. where it was always inevitable he'd turn, whether he does so to prove a Point (like he tries to prevent the assassination through some wibbly wobbly ghost quartet shit), or he's just fully swayed to the assassins' side. also i'd really enjoy a judgy balladeer that's sort of full of himself. i don't know if any of that made sense @.@

this is long already but i just wanna leave this ballad of guiteau that basically does what i'm talking about and i love a lot (esp before the last verse where the balladeer grips guiteau and points at the scaffold stone-faced oughguhgo)
