My takes on some ploy ships involving Dazai and Ranpo

Kunichuranzai this Kunichuranzai that but . . . what about . . . Mushiranpoezai!

I don't normally ship ships with 3+ people but I thought of this. Alternatively there's Mushiango and just Ranpoezai.

IDK how Poe would feel about Dazai though. I think he'd feel okay if Ranpo liked him, but their personalities don't seem that compatible (they even are different types of morbid). And I feel like Mushitarou would be low-key terrified of Dazai (that or weirded out). Just my opinions though.

And I personally see Mushitarou feeling at first very intimidated and then as they become friendlier, affectionate, but platonically towards Ranpoe, so I ship him more with Ango.

I propose Mushiranpoezai because I feel like kunikidazai and souheki have such different vibes (more soft and domestic and pure) than soukoku so they wouldn't really all get along. Also because of the conflict with Chuuya being a literal active criminal and Kuni's ideals, and Ranpo's connections to the police.

Chuuya is so free. He wants to live life to the fullest to prove he's human, which I think could clash with Kuni's need for organisation. On the other hand, he's an extremely hard and dedicated worker (workaholic) and cares about people to value their schedules.

I think Ranpo's brutal straight forwardness could be good for Chuuya's trust issues, but I see Chuuya having a hard time getting over his rudeness (despite his swearing, Chuuya is still a very considerate person, like when he walked that lady across the street in wan). I think Chuuya would find Ranpo insufferable and spoiled and probably be very annoyed by him, maybe because he might view Ranpo as having a much more luxurious childhood than him.

It's true that Kunikidazai and SKK are similar dynamics, but not nearly the same, their banters are motivated by very different things and one carries way more negativity than the other and probably more dependance (at least on Dazai's part).

So while I like all these ships individually, and I don't really ship either poly ship, I personally believe based on my interpration of canon and the characters that Mushiranpoezai is more plausible.

Uhhh, well i wanna say that i dont really fw any ship involving Atsushi and Ranpo, I DONT KNOW WHY, LIKE EHHH, Atsushi like JUST turned 18 at the start of the anime/manga, so it feels off to me.

I DONT FUCK WITH MORIZAI OR ODAZAI, IDC WHAT ANYONE SAYS, MORI AND ODA BOTH NEW DAZAI WHEN HE WAS A CHILD, SO SHIPPING THEM IS BASICALLY JUST AN INTERNALISED PED0 THING. I mean ship whatever dude, but dont try to convince me its a normal ship.

I lob SOME rare pairs. Like Uhhhh Mushizai, cute, silly, love it, Odasano, ehhhh. Once again, ship whatever, but i might just not fw it, AND THATS FINE, IM NOT GONNA CREATE A WHOLE HATE BLOG FOR SHIPS THAT ARE LEGAL

I loooveeee Odakida obviously, there just so silly omggg, Kunizai as well, and i do ship Sokoku as well :3. ALSO Mori, Fukuzawa and Hirotsu would all just be in a platonic freienship, BECAUSE I SAID SO, i fw almost any (legal) ship with Nikolai, hes js so silly, so he'd click with anyone somehow.

Sigzai is also a really cute one, OHH AND SigChuu AND TACHIGINN !! <333

I kinda dont like any implication of Elise and Q being in a romantic relationship, since Elise is technically 40+ even though she looks like a kid, BUT I LOVE THERE FRIENDSHIP, IT'D BE SO CUTE. As well as just Elise, Kenji, Kyouka and Q all just being in a friendgroup ^^

I lowk think most of the characters in bsd would just have a nice friendship, despite all of them being in rivalries, LIKE HELL YEAH, NAOMI AND GIN GO AND GET TEA ON THE WEEKEND !!!!

also there's a sprinkling of mushizai because it is a very funny ship to me.

13 - this one i have BARELY written and have like. nothing to really give snippets of yet but, basically, nikolai coping with nathaniel's brainwashing. badly. entire fic is just him thinking up scenarios that could have happened, ways he could have saved him, etc <3 i love nikonathan.

aroace fukuzawa compels me more than any of his ships ever will sorryyyy although your fuku fuku fic was absolutely beautiful and i'm still not over it. mushizai is at that place on the 'compels me' axis solely because of this art. i don't really ship fyobram but this post made me laugh and same as with b.ramran i think fyodor is more interested in bram than bram is in him. i understand on a surface level why people ship fuku mori but actually looking at their characters, i really don't see it. at all. and sigma and dazai..... i shan't say any more than i already have.
