Serena grabbed some ingredients from the cupboard for making macarons and let her Pancham out to join Fennekin. The two Pokemon pranced around excitedly as they watched the humans get ready.

"Well, do we have our poems ready to share?" Monika asked the literature club. Most of the members got some papers out of their bag. "Oh, Natsuki gave me hers before going to the baking club, so I'll read it in her stead."

"I honestly find this to be a huge waste of time, but I digress..." Byakuya sighed as he pulled a paper out of his bag.

In the main classroom, a sign up sheet was placed on the desk for those running for student council. Already some students had announced their candidacies on it: Katsu, Makoto, Darth Vader, Mitsuru, and Edelgard for president, Luigi, Tails, and Mako for vice president, Yuri and Erika for bookkeeper, Kiryu and Yoda for treasurer...

Idea: Changing up from the fridge terror/epicness of the group's struggle to survive in the Tragedy, branch off from the timeline of events and transport them to a school in a parallel dimension where anyone can show up at any time! This is Multimuse Cluster*@#%!

"Fennekin! Pancham! Let's blast through these weirdly-dressed goons!"

Letting out battle cries, Fennekin and Pancham fired off embers and arm thrusts, trying to help Serena and her friends blow past the group of Flare grunts trying to siphon energy from the Kalos Power Plant!

Even with their words, Rock was feeling the pressure of Ghetsis's words. Combined that with his powerful, regal aura, and it truly felt like an unwinnable situation for the young Gym Leader-in-training. "I... I..."

"Go on. None would think less of you if you simply backed out here."

Ghetsis's words only continued to put a strain on Rock. "I... I... I..."

"Don't do it, Brother!" Anzu shouted as loud as she could from the stands.

"I... continue!" Rock called, now with a firey glare, ready to battle Ghetsis. No matter how tough this guy was, there had to be a way to beat him.

"That's right! Get in there and destroy that guy! No real Trainer has to resort to sweet-talking their opponents into quitting!"

"Oui! Show him you're not one to be underestimated!"

"Light your flame and burn him down! ...Uh, did that sound alright?"

"Kh!" Ghetsis was taken aback a bit by Rock refusing to back down. "Note to self: destroy this one, and then crush the annoying blonde girl yelling from the stands." He then took out a Pokeball. "Well, you had your chance. Don't say I didn't warn you. But at least now I get the pleasure of seeing your face when you've lost all hope!" He tossed the ball. "Come forth! Hydreigon!"

"Yipes! That thing even looks terrifying!" Rock jumped back a bit when Hydreigon emerged from its Pokeball. It was vicious... far more than any Pokemon he'd ever seen, and mixed with its appearance, it looked something straight from a kaiju movie.

The Pokemon Masters League. A tournament held on the artificial island of Pasio attracting only the best and brightest Trainers in all the world. Everyone from Gym Leaders to Champions to... villainous team leaders are allowed to compete in this prestigious event. And right now... Trainers Rock and Anzu were getting ready for their first matches in the tournament

And they weren't the only ones. The young Pokemon Professor-to-be, Brandon Astral, and his sister, Alolan Detective Bella, were invited to Pasio as well to participate with some of their own Pokemon. Brandon was paired up with his partner, Jirachi, and Bella was paired up with her partner, Mismagius. The two of them were exploring Pasio and admiring the sights and even making some new friends
