there's something devastatingly beautiful about the idea that there are all these unrequited loves circulating kevin day. like they are planets revolving around the sun; they can't survive without it, but they can never get close enough. I also think its so interesting to pair this with the fact that kevin day loves too much, has a bleeding heart that can never stop wanting, but his touch seems to burn things up. like!!! kevin day as the sun. kevin day as a gravitational force that gives life and also sets fire to anything he sets his light on. sorry i'll go

Neil, who has spent years on the run, breaking into places to sleep, who has never been explicitly allowed and welcomed anywhere, who has never belonged, to whom Wymack gives keys to the court and to whom Andrew gives a key to his house and let him in.

Jean, who has spent years in the Nest denied privacy and boundaries, who has been forced to go where he is told, whom Zane betrayed by leaving their door unlocked, to whom Cat gives her door security bar and helps him lock his abuser out.

On the other hand, nobody telling Jean the code to USC's exy stadium so he instead repeatedly enters Evermore's code--symbolic of the Trojans' distrust of him and the way he doesn't quite consider himself one of them (yet).

These were all done under 20 minutes. That page is literally from my morning english class I wasn't paying attention to (it was done without a sketch, excuse the weird ass proportions).

honestly you can say anything about the ravens (and you'd be right to) but you can't say the concept of them isn't delicious. a group of collegiate athletes in their intimidating raven motifs and their black uniforms who are basically bred to become the best of the best in a bloodsport. the adrenaline rush of every game being a competition between yourself and your teammates. knowing you're not just gearing up towards court but following in the footsteps of the alumni before you. the parties and the victories and the mindless sex and the way everyone around you somehow seems to always be thinking the same thing as you are. you are never alone and you will never be again if you just do as we say. who knows the kind of relationships that can happen in a place like that?
