Finally posting my first piece for @md-fanzine !

It’s been a wild ride ever since I joined the fandom, and I’ve met so many amazing people and made a lot of cool friends. I never thought I’d make it this far as both an artist and voice actor, and the series and the fandom have been such a huge inspiration for me to keep striving for what I love to do. I’m sad the show has come to a close but I’m happy I got to experience it and I’m excited for what’s to come in the fandom.

Never forget that all of you are important to the community and you’re all deserving of support regardless of skill and popularity. You’re all pillars of the Murder Drones fandom and it would not be the same without any of you guys.

Thank you so much to @pngjamie for letting me be part of the zine, and thank you so much everyone for making this fandom amazing, as well as everyone in the community who has helped me make it this far. Please support all the artists and creators who took part in the zine!

We all worked so hard for a show we all love and wanted to show our appreciation for.

If anyone that also joined the zine somehow comes across this…uh, hi. Hello, good to see you. I know it’s not really the most heart-felt speech in the planet, but you all did amazing and it was an honor to have a part of this project with very talented people.

Literally no words can properly describe what I’m feeling right now. I just feel proud of everyone that made pieces for this zine, and I think you all should feel proud of yourselves too.

I am glad to have joined this project, and I’m excited for what the future may bring.🧡

The story of Murder drones just doesn't feel... Really complete...

Like yeah we got an end but it doesn't FEEL like the end.

Like- yeah, I respect Liam's wishes to end the series there.

Bur the story doesn't feel DONE.

Like why was J repairing the ship? Where was she wanting to go?

Who is this?

Like- take Gravity Falls for example, 2 seasons and it was done! The story was done! Yeah there could be spin-offs but not with the same characters because it would start to get repetitive.

And for Murder drones, I get it it's an indie show, yes i know.

But the story doesn't truely feel over.

Hey, this may sound silly, but…

Do you also think about your past cartoons and present cartoons come together? For me, it’s like this:

Twilight: Wow. I never knew Luz grew up with some amazing new friends

Charlie: I should be more surprised. You and the other past characters raised her in the beginning. You guys should get more of the credit. You bring her friendship and knowledge, Leo brings out her confidence and toughness, Chris brings her the love of animals and the environment, and both Cerise and Draculaura brings her the joy of being herself, and even TinkerBell brings out her creativity. As well as Dipper for thinking of interesting theories

Twilight: True, but you bring her the wonders of demons and real life issues that shouldn’t be ignored, Pomni shows her about emotions that are ok to feel, Sonic shows her how to be a proper team player, Feedback shows her the power of forgiveness and the joy of the extraterrestrial, Mordecai helps her be organized and thought out, Uzi brings out the fun edgy side that some people feel, Luz from the Owl House shows her that it’s ok to be different, and Trollex gives her the loves of music. If you ask me, Luz needs all of us

Charlie: *smiles* I couldn’t agree more. Luz grew up to be an amazing young woman. And even though some days can be tough on her…

Twilight: She’ll always have us and more people in her life around her. If she’s feeling down or anxious or stressed about something…We can always look out for her

So uh... what are some animated indie stuff that you like to watch?

For me its satina, humans b gone, and the june archives (technically an arg but ehh)

LACKADAISY.

Yeah, it's just a pilot. I have to admit I don't watch a lot of indie animation (hard for me to get into new things; I was technically never in the Helluva fandom either, my friend just wrote a lot about it so I followed along the first season). But I've been a fan of this webcomic for the past few years, so latest pointless drama aside, I'll stick up for that one until my dying breath. It's a goddamn masterpiece, I'm super happy that the Backerkit has made two million, and I remain hyped as all hell for the first season.

I also simp really hard for one of the characters. Crushes tend to help me stick around.

I've watched the Satina pilot and the first episode, though it was a long while back. I think I enjoyed it. Has any more of it come out yet?
