A librarian more used to reading stories than living in them, Nathan would be an unlikely candidate for hero in any book. But even discounting the power of his voice, Nathan is a formidable foe. Though he might not have many combat skills, Nate is more than willing to learn, and he refuses to be cowed by the dangers he's fallen into. Also called “ Silvertongue ” because of his ability to make characters come alive by reading them out of books - to "paint pictures in the air with his voice" - although he has been wary of this gift.

𝐚𝐧 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐭 𝐢𝐧 : night terrors, regretting every decision he ever made, being able to read people and objects out of books, the fear of being forgotten, realising that the church lied, paranormal events, staying awake for several days and isolation.⠀⠀ ⸻

Hi again! I have another question, what music theme would you think onyx will have?Like those themes that start playing after Steven and a gem fused, or like Smoky quartz, sardonyx, Opal and stuff. That song that plays in Future called "The Day Montage" is definitely their fusion dance song. The metal version of the We Are The Crystal gems has the guitar and drum set that works for Onyx.

Steven's chiptune mixing with Jasper's drums and synth effects makes a metal/ rock combo of electric guitar and drums.

Decided to tweak Chimera's design a bit-

Some Notes:

Chimera isn't his birth name, but it's the name he chooses to go by, make of that what you will-

Chimera is a dumbass and a bit of a himbo, but like one that's also down to fuck people up if needed (a... harmbo if you will)

shape equivalent of a mutt, nobody knows what he is, much less himself.

Very down bad for Gorgon- very flirty and touchy towards them

if you dare hurt Gorgon he can and will take it personally and will hunt you down-

tree forbid he thinks you've KILLED them (player shapes in this au found that out the hard way)

at least he's reasonable with it, he's just focusing on the ones responsible-

likes to wear dresses and fishnet stockings/sleeves, he just likes them. gender roles be damned.

post first corruption he just sorta went numb, he couldn't really think, and didn't want to either, the grief got him h a r d.

v clingy towards Gorgon during second corruption and definitely got some separation anxiety towards them, it eventually gets better

bro needs some therapy post-game events- with everything that happened- GL with that though, since Gorgon would 100% be down to murder someone for making Chimera distressed

no pouch, which is an anomaly when it comes to shapes.

Keeps his wedding ring in his collar, and was actually pretty distressed at apparently 'loosing' it- (one of the ppl taking care of him in the caves went out and found it for him)

a good few of the corrupted/others actually are pretty fond of him, his stupidness and general chaotic harmbo nature won them over

honestly listening to Epic: The Musical makes me want to do an analysis of the various "I'm just a man" spread throughtout the story and see how they change.
