my TF2 hot take is that Mediscout / Quickfix / Blunt Trauma isn't even problematic, everyone just jumped to hate onto that ship bc of the shippers that made problematic content of them. Literally no other Scout ship has this issue (not talking abt THAT one) nor this amount of people hating on it because of that reason, even though many of the other mercs are much older than Scout.

Also Pyro is a grown ass person, shipping em isn't problematic at all and it is in fact kinda ableist to treat them like a child. Not sexualizing them and being uncomfortable with it is fine but, c'mon. If they were under 18 they wouldn't even be working in the Gravel Wars.

My take on Leona dream, slight spoilers under

I don’t think Leona actually wants his brother and Cheka dead. I think it’s a case of Malleus taking Leona’s intrusive thoughts and morbid thinking and actualizing it.

I think most people, at some point, thought about not wanting someone in their life. Even if it’s intrusively. Anyone who as siblings probably thought at one point for their siblings to disappear from their life but then the next day your best friends again 😭

I feel like Leona’s dream is similar to Jamil’s. The same what if scenario about someone you have a complex relationship with but not actually wanting that to happen. I think it’s more of Malleus taking a black and white interpretation of people’s thoughts and feelings and not really taking in consideration of the nuances them.

And maybe Malleus own biases seeping in. Like I don’t think he has a good understanding of Leona and Jamil as people so I’d imagine Malleus would take any suppressed feelings and take it at face value because that dream makes them “happy” but fails to understand that won’t create real “joy”?If that makes sense?

I cannot stand him. As a villain fucker, I wouldn't and couldn't have him in my roster for favorites. That being said, in my book he's truly what a villain should be: PURE FUCKING EVIL. Dawg just out her fucking stuff up for the hell of it at this point.

No spoilers, I just wanna say from what I've been seeing here lately with the manga he's absolutely the number one best villain (in terms of: he knows how to make you hate him).

If I had a gun with only 2 bullets and I was in a room with AFO and Danzo from Naruto (*another villain I absolutely fucking hate), I'd shoot AFO twice...

The second of the four treespawn to have awakened from gestation. Caught on to movement fairly quickly, but was clumsy and prone to bumping into things for a good while. 

Flirty and quite high energy, likes to go for runs, and actually enjoyed the corruption event far more than they should’ve because of the amount of dodging, running, and other high movement things. (xe lowkey feel bad about it but-)

Prone to laughing or doubling down on their flirtiness when anxious/stressed, though this happens more when they know that there’s at least a little danger. 

Regularly ‘harrases’ Fresh alongside Alnus and sometimes when Alnus isn’t with xer for the reason that they like to dodge attacks and fresh is prone to lashing out when annoyed. He was VERY confused about xier behavior towards him post-corruption event. 

Very physically affectionate, will lean into people, hold them, perch on them, etc. especially if xe like the person in question. Often times, the only time that xe are still is when they’re curling up/otherwise being in physical contact with someone that they are fond of.

Can’t fall asleep unless they’re cuddling someone/something. Most of the time this ends up happening to xier pseudo-siblings and xe can and will drag the others into a massive tangle of limbs, roots and leaves to snooze. 

As a treespawn xe can change their body types between Shortrib, Longrib, and Legless pretty much at will. They prefer to stick in shortrib form because of xer attachment to Saro. 

Treespawn as a whole can also sizeshift, depending on how much beat-energy that they decide to use to tweak their size. Aesculus and their pseudo-siblings in the rest of the player shapes prefer to be smaller and faster as a general whole. 

When channeling beat-energy xer eyespots/darker markings will flash or turn white, meanwhile their lighter markings will flash or turn black. This happens during their dashes, TIO form, and when otherwise using beat-energy structures or projectiles. 

Internally, treespawn are much more plant/tree-like. Instead of bones they have what essentially amounts to wood and that’s both supported and somewhat surrounded by condensed roots. Instead of hair they have foliage, either in the form of leaves or needles. Their digestive systems are more similar to carnivorous plants, multiple chambers for digesting and then storing fluids and goo. Reproductively they take after flower reproductive systems. 

Their shape-like appearance is grown over time, and is essentially a layer of ‘clothing’ over their full plant-ness, with seams where if needed, they can shed the ‘skin’ either for repairs, or for some other reason. Because of this many treespawn just don’t really see any issues with going around ‘nude’ and really only wear clothing to keep themselves warm.

Can we just talk about how bad of a father Hojo has been to Sephiroth since the OG, and how much WORSE he is in the Compilation and Remake continuities?

Between treating his own son like a science project, keeping every last cell on his body in cylinders, the entire Silver Elite bullshit, assisting him in absorbing the lifestream, etc, its clear that he's the type of guy that would make Shou Tucker cringe in disgust, right? So like why does the larger fandom rarely go into detail about this guy when talking about Sephiroth?

I'm not mad I'm just baffled.
