Tessa smiled at Cyn's assessment and giggled softly at the kind words. "It's like a golden retriever, but much softer... I only met one once. But, you can see for yourself," she walked over and set the wig down for Cyn to feel it while she unhooked Cyn's old wig ever so carefully, "I've had lots and lots of practice, my darling dear Cyn. I know you've had a little practice, you cheeky little wallaby." Tessa hugged gently Cyn from behind before taking off the drone's human hair wig, despite the weathering and yellowing of the wig cap and the tarnishing of the clasps, it was in pretty sturdy condition, despite being knotted and yellowed from dirt, grime, and the passage of time "I remember Mother coming down in the morning wearing a veiled hat to hide her choppy bangs and the pixie cut you gave her, and being off to the beauty parlour before she even finished her morning tea," the drone giggled to her little sister client, "I'm so proud of you for doing that, thank you."
"Trying to interact with other worker drones... Has become difficult. They don't trust me." Cyn frowned.

Random Observation:
Okay, quick disclaimer: I haven’t gotten very far in the Security Breach: Ruin DLC yet by which I mean I haven’t watched all of Markiplier’s videos. However, the other day I ended up running into a spoiler regarding the ‘Gregory’ Cassie talks to in the game.
And given the circumstances, I...can’t help but be reminded of the very first time I wrote Ian.

//Mara's the definition of 'hypercompetent to the point being in mega wash out shitfire show mode still leaves her a degree of hypercompetent across all her fields' and there's really so much to be said about it because of how intrinsically it's tied to her career in SOLDIER & her relationship to said career especially after defecting
But also
But also,
I'm just thinking of sb jokingly/teasingly calling out 'General' and Mara immediately responding, giving herself whiplash, and just. You. Stop that— >:(

Your portrayal sticks out because it represents the only time I've ever fallen in love with a fandom just because of 1 RPer, never mind that I agreed to RP with you on this account despite my usual apprehensions about interacting with fandoms I don't know. I trusted you & I'm glad I did. You're so patient yet passionate when it comes to summarizing scenes of the show & relationships between characters--but that's over IMs, OOC. (Yes, everyone, the mun is kind & funny, in addition to be being a great RPer.) ANYWAY!
Shota's 1 of my favorite characters to interact with on here. I don't have it in me to go read or watch all of MHA, but I'm always finding myself asking questions about Shota or wondering what he'd do in ___ situation. & you know his voice, so you know the answer. & then there's all the work you put into developing parts of him that aren't canonically talked about. This is what the writing part of fandom is meant for. I don't know if you write fanfics, but they'd be enjoyable as fuck. I love reading your metas & HCs for Shota, no matter how long, because I CRAVE THE INFORMATION!! Also he's my dad (lol).
TL;DR - you're my only Shota & I love the effort you put into your portrayal. Thanks for introducing Kylie to his first boyfriend.
In reference to this post
You're so sweet. I am so glad that you gave me and Shota a chance! I have to say though, I feel the same way about the characters that you write. I honestly had forgotten how much I enjoyed X-men and Marvel things and didn't plan on doing too much interaction with those fandoms despite BNHA being a superhero based fandom. Thank you for reminding me, truly.
Also I am always ecstatic to answer any questions that you have about the fandom and storyline-esque things. Your active interest in something that you are unfamiliar with is really flattering within itself. I feel that you've also been so incredibly patient with me as far as explaining things goes because I have forgotten so much about those fandoms. Also the only comics I've ever really read as far as Marvel goes have been The Incredible Hulk, Captain America & Hawkeye. So, you filling me in on stuff I don't know about has been incredibly helpful especially considering that so many other Marvel RPers have reached out to me here.
I haven't written any MHA fanfictions yet but maybe sometime in the future. If I were to do anything like that , it would likely be some sort of one shot because I'm terrible at writing them to be honest. I think that's why I end up writing a lot of long-winded headcanons/metas here instead. & Shota is more than willing to 'dad' you any day of the week, being a dad is one of his many talents.
P.S. - I do a lot of shippy things with the person who introduced me to Shota who also plays All-Might. I actually made this blog with the intention of building familial/platonic & student/teacher relationships with Shota. Also given Shota's asocial nature, I didn't think that I'd be writing too many romantic relationships for him. But, given that we had written with each other in the past I was more open to the idea of shipping with you in general. & I have to say; I am happy to have started shipping Kylie with Shota. I feel that they compliment each other so well.

Almost forgot about this one because I had to go and beg for something specific to talk about. And luckily @maladroitoracle provided! ❤️
Has writing sex scenes gotten any easier?
This refers to the fact that in the beginning I said I won't probably even write anything very explicit (lol forever), and then when I did, I have repeatedly bitched and moaned about how hard it is. So I'd say, it's not necessarely any easier, but since I'm doing it anyway, I guess it's.. doable? It really depends on the scene. But I still get the feeling every time that I'm just describing tab A going into slot B and I have to remind myself to put some emotions in there.
"oothan tässä vielä huomenna" was your first longer fic, what did you learn from it or what stuck in your mind?
It was so great realising that I could actually write something longer! I got so much confidence as a writer from finishing that and from the lovely reception it got. I didn't start posting until it was all the way finished, since I wrote it totally out of order, in bits and pieces. Some random trivia:
The scene in the car where Bojan makes Jere watch CCC was originally a dialogue only snippet in @devotedlydarkcrown's DMs. It's based on the fact that Jere said in the Vogue interview that he had only watched CCC for the first time "a few days earlier". Also, the Bieber scene was written at her request.
Jere putting on Bojan's makeup was originally an answer to an anon prompt here
The first version of the scene on the morning after Tavastia 2.0 was written in the comments of a fanart on ao3
I kept rewriting the ending to make it happier. The original was... not as hopeful.
I have said it several times before, but the whole thing started when Bojan posted that damn story of him doing MMA and I went cross-eyed at the thought of him... exploring himself at that gym. Did you know that the gym he was posting from actually advertises having a Finnish sauna? True story.
I had so much fun writing Bojan's escapades, especially the one in Thailand. Also, all the interactions with the band, like Kris giving Bojan The Safe Sex Talk on the airplane. *chef's kiss*
Do you regret at all making me cry with "mun ainoa oikea satama"?
Pfft, you should know that every fanfic writer drinks their reader's tears instead of morning coffee. It's what keeps us alive! I'm so happy to hear that, mind you. That fic as not made the same numbers in stats as many others have, so I'm so glad of all the love it receives, since it's very dear to my heart.

That headcanon is a Vampire Hunter D reference. I’m not the one who submitted it, but I do agree that a VHD pastiche in Elden Ring would make for a pretty great fanfic. Mun reply: Oh, I never read or watched Vampire Hunter D, so I had no clue. I am glad to see that it would work well though.

Rules and About
IMPORTANT LINKS:
Canon vs. AU: A list of what's different about the Makoto portrayed in this AU. Starter Post Masterlist: This is where you can go to get a starter from me!
☔️ This blog is a para-style rp blog for the Persona 3 protagonist- AKA Makoto (The name I personally refer to him as). The universe this Makoto comes from is a part of my fanfic, (Supra)Natural Disaster.
☔️ The au takes place ten years after the events of Persona 3, so there will be spoilers. Please take heed of this!! Play through the game if you're interested I swear it's worth it.
☔️ Makoto is back, alive and... Somewhat well, but definitely different. He doesn't know why he's here, he doesn't really want to be here, but there's things to take care of.... If only he could remember what those things were.
☔️ This Makoto can be anywhere, at any time, thanks to the universe arcana. If it makes in-character interactions easier for you, you are very welcome to say he's in your muse's world.
☔️ The blog isn't 18+ muse-wise, but it DEFINITELY is mun-wise. Please be 18+ behind the screen.
☔️ I don't really interact with multimuse blogs- apologies :( It's not you, it's my brain being bad with stuff like that.
☔️ I will not be using images or formatted posts all the time, if at all. I don't really care if anyone I rp with on here does, it's more of.. I'm mobile bound and I'm not gonna waste time formatting.. I just wanna write, man.
☔️ Ships right now aren't gonna be a thing, I think. Again, as this Makoto is part of an overarching fic, he's already being shipped in it with the au's Yu.
☔️ This is my first time stepping foot into this rpc specifically. I'm usually way more of a blog-style rper, but I wanna branch out more. Allow me time to get my footing!
☔️ Tagging system will be in the tags of this post! :)
☔️ Mun-wise, my name is Pirie, 29. Fan of Persona and Disco Elysium, especially. Avid writer, game designer in progress

Thank you for sharing so much about your writing process with us, Silence 🖤 Have, in exchange, Mantis and Drax sharing a bear hug!
Years ago a friend of mine who is also a mun (they had a few MCU muses amazingly written) realized that I would stop writing for weeks or months when I wasn’t doing great, but I would always go back to writing. And this friend would tell me that “if you’ve tried to quit writing many times and you always come back to it, that’s because there is something in you that needs to write”. That’s what makes you a writer. Not being able to write novels anymore? That’s understandable. But you keep writing and therefore you are a writer. I hope this makes you feel better.
I’ve already told you I think your writing is amazing but I want to remind you, because I genuinely believe so! You disappear behind your muses even when they have very different personalities and that’s not easy. Watching you, I learn, and incorporate that when I’m writing Mantis but also Rocket, for example. I try to make sure they have completely different ‘voices’, vibes, body language, choice of words, etc. I learn so much from you.
I think you should be proud of yourself because regardless of how people responded to it, you wrote a book and held it in your hands. That is my dream. I don’t expect to become a professional writer, but my dream is to hold my own book in my hands. Now… I would love to become a horror writer, so… I’m pretty sure my grandpa won’t love what I wrote the same way your grandpa did, but that’s okay. That’s also why Mantis is one of my favorite muses; her backstory is something straight out of a horror film. The amount of literal skeletons on Ego’s closet creeps even Nebula out. I love my bug daughter so much because she’s a ray of sunshine, but not enough people realize the secrets of her past. One of the biggest untold stories of the MCU. This ladybug has seen some horrors so of course I’m like LET ME ADOPT HER.
I think if you’re struggling to write novels, you could write a bunch of short stories and possibly even publish them as an anthology. It’s what I want to do. I don’t have the focus, mental health or energy I need to write a novel right now, it’s a process that takes so much from you. Writing short stories is much easier, like really short, you write 4-5 pages and move on to the next story. That’s easy. I plan to write many short stories, all of them horror, and eventually they’ll be enough to fill a book. I want to write a novel someday but for now this is good, just wanted to share that idea with you. You don’t need to write a novel to publish a book.
I do have some questions since you said it’s okay to ask. How did you pick names for your characters? How do you disappear behind your characters? Do you use music, maybe you listen to songs that remind you of them? Do you use visual stuff as well, like aesthetics? What do you think readers like and dislike the most? What was the easiest and the hardest part of the process before the book was published? You don’t have to answer everything if you don’t want to/don’t have time!
I know you said you wrote a fanfic for Game of Thrones that was very well received and fans didn’t even suspect that you hated one of the characters so… see? You write so well! You write characters properly, actually in character, even when you despise them. I was happy to learn about that even though I… I haven’t watched Game of Thrones. But I have watched Vikings. Like 4 times.
Sorry this was so long but I wanted to respond to your post about writing because it’s not easy to share something so personal, and I wanted to show support. Writing clearly means a lot to you, you love to write and that’s what matters. You are a good writer, I’m not the only one who believes this and like I said I learn from you and I thank you for it. Have a good day/night!
__________
{out of dalmasca} (This post refers to this one here.)
OMG YOU READ THAT BEHEMOTH OF A RANT. Thank you for spending the time reading that, I can’t believe you did, hahaha. And I will always accept pics of Mantis hugging her friends and looking happy, the world needs more of that. XD I... I’m probably going to rant again, I’m so sorry, hahaha...
Oh yes, your friend is definitely right! The difference between someone who occasionally writes, or even someone who is merely able to write, and an actual writer is that writers need to write. It’s a part of their lives, their hearts, and their identities as people. I began writing when I was around 17 and I’ve written at least something almost every day since then, and I’m now 43. Writing is absolutely a need of mine and a huge part of my life. The only time in my life where I really stopped was after my mother died. I went through a period of several months where I wrote absolutely nothing. I just didn’t feel like I had the desire anymore, but it eventually came back.
But thank you for mentioning that not being able to write novels anymore doesn’t mean I’m not a writer, because that’s something I’ve struggled a lot with. For some reason when I was younger, I had this idea that to be a “writer,” you had to 1) be a professional one or it didn’t matter, and 2) write novels, novellas, poetry, or some other “respected” form of writing. Fanfiction and rp don’t count. And over the years I’ve realized... no they absolutely do count. Writing is writing! There isn’t “respected” or “real” writing and then... everything else, heh. There’s just writing and writers. That’s something I’ve had to really teach myself in order to feel better about myself and to feel pride as a writer again after losing the ability to write novels and short stories. And everyone on here who thinks “well I rp but that’s not real writing,” nope you’re writing! You’re doing the thing! A thing not everyone else can do! So be proud of yourself for that! =D
So... I should clarify that writing words, actual volume, many pages... has never been a problem for me. What I lost was the ability to create something from nothing. I lost the ability to make characters from scratch, to plan and structure unique original plots, to design the biology and ecology of my own fictional creatures, to develop the languages and culture and aesthetics of original races, and to world-build. That’s what I lost. Writing still happens, heh. I just... for whatever reason, I can’t write original writing anymore. Without that scaffold in place of what someone else has already done that I can simply build upon, I just can’t do it anymore. *shrugs* I don’t know why, but it’s something I deeply mourn, because I really loved doing it.
I actually tend to have the opposite problem of being too verbose and writing too much, heh. And after you brought this up, I got super curious as to like... the statistics of what in my mind were the most memorable or important things I’ve written as far as their effect on me or if they were published or just what they meant to me overall. I got curious about just how much I’ve written, whether I completed it or not, and in what category I placed them in as far as novel or short story, etc. I put together a little list for my own knowledge, but you know what, I’ll share it, because why not, heh. This isn’t everything, but they’re the most important/influential works to me. The two books marked with an (*) are the ones that I was discussing in my previous “writing process” post:
SERIES
*Book 1 – 66 pages; 33,144 words (completed, self-published)

Book 3 – 114 pages; 65,495 words (completed, edited/prepped for publishing, but unpublished)
Book 4 – 145 pages; 87,357 words (completed)
Book 5 – 100 pages; 60,910 words (unfinished)
Book 6 – 24 pages; 15,943 words (unfinished)
COLLECTION
Main Book – 374 pages, 244,524 words (unfinished)

FANFICTION
Game of Thrones fandom, first – 58 pages; 35,576 words (completed)
Game of Thrones fandom, sequel – 48 pages; 28,170 words (completed)
Metal Gear Solid/Rising fandom – 12 pages; 6,335 words (completed)
The reason I wanted to share this list was to illustrate what a hard stop my losing my ability to write original things really was. Everything in the list above was written between 2005 and the beginning of 2017. Regardless of the quality of the writing (which wasn’t that great, haha), I was writing a lot during that time... and then... it all just stopped. There were a couple more fanfictions that I wrote after that which were even shorter than the 12-page one I have listed there that really didn’t have much substance, and I made numerous attempts at finishing WIPs or starting new ones, but... it just didn’t work, and eventually I accepted it and stopped trying. I guess something really just changed in my brain, and whatever it was, I haven’t been able to get it back.
Your suggesting about publishing a collection of short stories is... really interesting. I’ve never thought about doing that before. One of my most developed worlds is that “collection” I’ve got listed up there, which is incidentally the world that Channe, Jix, Strychthia, and Aurelien come from over on my multi, heh. Aryx on that same blog comes from the second “series” listed up there, the longer one, book 5. But anyway... with my one collection, I do already have several short stories and other “files” written from the p.o.v.s of various characters, and even the main book itself is a collection of stories in a way.
The frame story is a young girl who is surrounded by many people in her family, her home city, her country, etc. that are kindof epic, heh. They’ve been through wars, lived through incredible circumstances, seen and done many things... but there are secrets and reasons why they don’t always talk about those things, or why stories told by multiple people don’t seem to add up. So, as a budding young writer herself, the girl decides to interview many of these people to get their stories from their point of view. So each for “interview,” I end up going into a separate story about the life of that character. Many of them are linked or overlap in various ways, and as the girl begins to have questions and starts investigating things, skeletons are revealed, wounds are opened up, and secrets get exposed. But, and if I’d finished the book this would’ve happened, she eventually ends up facilitating a lot of healing, processes, forgiveness, and reconciliation through her actions as well.
So that collection... might actually work as an anthology collection... somehow. I’d have to complete restructure it and it needs to be rewritten anyway because that was begun back in 2005 and the writing needs improvement, but... I could see where that might be a thing. If only I could work on original writing again... but you’ve definitely given me something to think about.
The series Aryx was from... I actually wanted to publish as a collection of books, structured similarly to something like the books of Narnia. But I was told by the self-publisher I was using at the time told me that the file size would be too large (my books were all digital) and I couldn’t do that. I had to leave them and publish them all as separate books. And then that just... never happened, heh, after my first two books did really poorly.
But another thing you’ve made me think about it... how do you write a story in 5 pages?! Hahaha, like I said, I have a problem with being WAY too verbose, so writing a 5-page completed story would be a serious challenge for me. I really respect people who can write completed things that are that concise because it’s definitely a skill I don’t have, lol. BUT... maybe to start getting back into writing original works again, I should try to write some small things. Because I used to write these epic (not epic as in awesome but epic as in lengthwise) novels all the time, I have in my head that that’s what I have to keep doing. But maybe that’s not true. Again, thank you so much, you’ve given me food for thought! =D
As for genres... that’s awesome that you want to write in the horror genre! Horror and fantasy are my go-to genres for writing, for movies and books I like, for just about everything, heh. My comfort genre is high fantasy, usually in “medieval” time periods (think LotR or GoT-style stories and characters). That’s what I love, what I’m most comfortable with, and what flows out of me most effortlessly. And then I do like horror, crime, drama stories, etc. that are more in present-day, whether they contain fantasy elements or not. All except the two standalone novels that I had tried to get published were in that same high fantasy genre. Those other two novels... one was a non-fantasy, present day murder mystery, and the other one was a modern fantasy/supernatural horror story. I absolutely encourage you to write a horror anthology if that’s what you want to do, omg. I bet it would be amazing!
I love hearing about the interests and processes of other writers, so thank you so much for sharing this with me! I encourage you to write all the things, you write an amazing Mantis AND Rocket, and I can’t believe you say you’ve learned things from me because I’ve been learning from you! Your writing is Goals to me sometimes because I’ll read it and be like... damn. This is excellent. =) And then that pushes me to step up my game as well, which is a great feeling as a writer. There is no perfect writing or writer, we’re all improving all the time, so I’m honored to have been part of your growth as a writer, as you were part of mine as well. ^_^
Now! As for your questions! I think I’m going to answer them in a new post because this... is becoming five years long. Did I mention that I’m verbose? Haha... x_x So yeah, look for another post after this where I answer your questions! =)

___ 4 Mun Facts ___
I once had the opportunity to pitch a line of products to the Michael’s craft store! I had to do a presentation in front of 500+ people and nearly passed out from stage fright. My pitch wasn’t selected but as horribly as this went, it’s one of the things I’m more proud of myself for doing.
I have four mini Australian shepherds (what I refer to as the Aussie Posse). 3/4 are named from Disney movies (Wendy Darling, Mr. Banks, and Gus Gus) and the last one comes from We Bought a Zoo (Peaches).
I’ve recently decided to go back to school to pursue a career change and hopefully become an elementary teacher in the next few years. Another scary thing I’m proud of myself for doing!
But if I could pursue a degree in absolutely anything even if I’d probably never end up using it, it would be traditional architecture. Not a fan of modern, but like… the classical orders up to gothic era? Swoon.
___ 3 RP-Related Facts ___
I’ve been RPing for right at 5 months now and @climatact was the one who got me into it. :3 We started out as fanfic buddies and it gradually turned into RP after she picked it up following a bit of a break! It’s one of those things that now that I’m doing it I’m like “how did I spend my free time without this?!” 😱🥹
Some other muses I’ve considered RPing include Kunikida, Yosano, Kenji and Akutagawa from BSD, Jareth and/or Sarah from Labyrinth, Greeling from FMA:B, Captain Hook or Emma Swan (or a LOT of other characters) from Once Upon a Time, and the Mad Hatter from Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland movies.
I love writing a character with a traumatic back story and Lots of Thoughts ™️. Angst, dark topics, etc - like, give me the muses that have been just completely psychologically twisted to play with. I hate and love that I’m like this.
___ RP Fun ___
What song comes up most when replying?: I tend to only be able to write to instrumental music, and my default is Luna - BrunuhVille.
Do you snack while replying?: nope! I am very one track mind. I cannot multitask.
Which of your verses/aus is your favorite?: literally all of them with @climatact (four we’ve developed in the past few months so far!) Heartverse will always be my favorite as it’s both my first AU and first RP experience as a whole but the brain rot for Tangerine Trysts, Godverse, and Mikan Meadows is HIGH as well.
Do you have a song(s) you associate with a particular ship?: I’m actually really bad at miss and ship song matching for some reason. Probably because my taste in music is sad, angsty, and break up/heartbreak stuff? And I don’t want that for my ships. 😭 (okay I love angst so I kind of do but… that’s not how I wanna rep them as a whole!) I need to dedicate a day to listening through my playlist with this intent in mind so maybe more on this later. Basically I’ve just copied and pasted Bunny’s entire LawNa playlist. :3

It’s sad when fanfic writers do more research than writers/producers for movies and TV shows.
For reference for all my other writers wishing to write royalty characters: Kings/Queens are called His/Her/Your (Royal) Majesty and Princes/Princesses are called His/Her/Your (Royal) Highness. This cannot be used the other way around.
Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk.

“Riella. Riella.”
“Huh? Wha?” Riella jerks upright, rubbing her optics. How long has she been staring at the holographic scan without paying attention to it? “I’m awake.”
Gamma Ray retracts her visor so Riella can see her arch a single skeptical eyebrow, and leans forward with both elbows resting on the table. “Sure. Okay. When’s the last time you slept?”
Riella has to think about that for a minute, and realizes she doesn’t actually know. She’s pretty sure she wouldn’t be able to sleep anyway. “Dunno. Not tired.”
“You’re a shit liar.” It’s a more affectionate tone than the words themselves would suggest. “Don’t suppose you know when you last refueled, either.”
She doesn’t, but now she doesn’t want to admit that. Gamma Ray sighs and sets a cube on the table. “All right. There’s a couch in the back of my office. Drink this and go lay down for a few hours. I’ll take over the map scans. Don’t suppose it’ll make much difference which of us finds the Herald.”
“You have an office?” Riella reaches for the energon cube, but returns her attention to the map. “I don’t need to rest. I’ll be fine.”
“What part of what I said gave you the idea it was optional? And yes, I have an office. I just don’t use it.” The hologram flickers and vanishes at a single flip of a switch.
“Hey!”
Gamma Ray holds up a stern finger to forestall any further protest. “I can scan for discrepancies just as well as you can, Riella. Probably better, seeing’s you’re falling asleep at the map. If I find anything even the slightest bit off, I promise you I will come wake you up and we’ll go search the area for a Herald, but it’ll go better if you get a little rest now.”
Riella slumps back in her chair and folds her arms across her chest. “What if I don’t want to rest?”
“Do it anyway.” Gamma Ray looks at her intently, until Riella turns away. “You can’t go the rest of your life without sleeping. I get it. Really, I do. But you’re going to have to face an empty berth sooner or later. Trying to do that once this is all over and you’ve gone back to your apartment is going to hurt more.”
“I don’t want to talk about it.” She’s right, of course, and Riella knows it, but she’s not ready to deal with that yet. “Just help me narrow this down so we can find the damn Herald and end this.”

Note
since you reblogged some stuff from pietro's blog on here after talking about a fc on his blog, I'm assuming elizabeth is the fc you were talking about? it's okay if you don't wanna say who's the fc, this is just a reminder that its okay to enjoy things and you're not a bad person for it. for example I don't like chris pratt, but quill is my #3 fav marvel character, so... real life is sad, and if we have a little window to happiness in fiction, we take it. it's alright. I love your blogs ♡
{out of paprikash} Below the cut so that people who want to bypass this, can.
Oh, I do like her, that’s the problem. I was a fan of EO’s since around 2011 when Silent House and Martha Marcy May Marlene came out. I was so wowed that I started watching some of her other movies, and in 2018 when I found out that she played Wanda and PB played Vision (I had also been a fan of his for a while at that point too), they were the reason I decided to finally start watching MCU movies and get caught up on a whole bunch of them. So I’m conflicted because while I don’t condone certain things she’s said and done, I also remain a fan of her acting. That... upsets some people on here a LOT. I understand why people are upset about the use of certain words or the misunderstanding/ignorance of certain cultural aspects and references to stereotypes, but the criticisms, boycotting, canceling, etc. culture on here has reached a very childish, uncomfortable, nasty, hateful, and at times obscene level, and that makes me very uncomfortable.
So I have to walk this line of still being a fan of someone’s acting talent while acknowledging that at times she might not have said or done the best or more racially considerate things, while also making it clear that my interpretation of Wanda is not nearly as whitewashed as it is in the MCU even though I still use her MCU FC. All of that together has created some problems for me with people assuming things about me, my beliefs, and my interpretation of Wanda that aren’t true. And the hate on this site for certain celebrities because of things they may or may not have said or done on purpose or ignorantly or inadvertently, etc. (not just EO, I have encountered it for PB and ATJ as well, some of which was seriously ill-informed and just outright wrong, which makes it even worse) has reached a level at which it’s pouring into my circles and showing up on my dash even though I block certain tags and don’t follow certain blogs. And it’s beginning to affect my mental headspace when I’m on here because I am made to often feel like I’m a bad person if I’m a fan of some people, and just the language that is used is very offensive and upsetting to me. Having to see it all the time is wearing on me, and having people accuse me of things or refuse to interact with me because they assume things about me or my blogs without reading my info first is just... getting old. So I’ll just say that:
1) I can be a fan of someone’s acting without approving of everything they do in their personal lives. I am an adult and can separate the two.
2) Being a fan of someone who has said/done some things that were upsetting/wrong in no way means that I condone those things any more than writers condone the things their characters do in their books, fanfics, rps, etc. FC ≠ mun.
3) Just because my FC is White does not mean my muse is. Neither of my Maximoff twins are White despite their FCs being so. Please read my info about my muses before you assume things about them. FC ≠ muse.
4.) I am here to write and have fun, not to discuss real world issues. This does not mean that I don’t care, that I am ignoring these issues, or that I don’t pay attention to them on a daily basis, it just means that here on this site is not the venue in which I want to have those discussions. I keep my blogs on this site as an escape space, purely as a fun hobby. I have no problems with anyone wanting to change MCU FCs for their own personal reasons, whatever they may be, but please don’t hassle me for my FC choices or drag me into debates on real life issues. That’s not what I’m here for.
It’s exactly like you said... real life is sad. Very sad. Especially right now in this time we’re currently living. I would like to create a little joy on this site and on my blogs through writing. That’s all it is. I’m not making huge political or social statements by doing so, I’m just here to write and have fun. So please people, keep the hate far away from me. That’s all I ask.
I’m glad you are enjoying my blogs, and I hope you have been able to find a little piece of that enjoyment you seek on this site in them. =)

@distant-wcrlds
Munday stuff!
1. What little things do you do special when writing your muse(s) that you wonder if anyone has noticed?
One thing I tend to do is give tags that using the tone of that particular muse, so there isn’t a lot of consistency in the style of my ship/character nicknames because it’s very muse specific. It’s not all quotes, it’s not all English, it’s very much how that ship or the main muse interacting views that character. So some of Rogue’s tags are French, but it’s only for Remy because he’s the one she speaks it the most with and will fall into it naturally with. Him and JP are literally the only two people she does it so freely with. Others that she’s in a relationship with she might over time do so, but she values being understood to a high degree as she already has a hard time communicating with people, so she doesn’t like to use a language that isn’t known.
Padmé often has me going back to remove contractions because they are so habitual at this point. Between Rogue’s accent (which at this point, my phone tries to autocorrect for half the time), and just being someone from the Midwest/South that uses contractions like oxygen, I don’t always catch that I wasn’t being formal enough, so I am picky about double checking. She really only uses them in more casual, private settings one on one and I try to make sure to stay consistent with it.
7. Do you do creative writing outside of RP?
I have a fanfic WIP and I’ve written two others that were non-rp, although one was a oneshot based off a conversation for a scenario in the rp ship that I gifted the other mun. I don’t necessarily have no other writing, but I don’t have other writing I enjoy as much as rp. I just have an extreme dopamine fix being able to throw replies back and forth and create something together as opposed to just writing something in the vague hope someone likes it enough to leave a kudos or even better a comment. I did growing up do a lot of poetry, diary keeping, and creative short stories, some even chain stories (not quite the same as rp obviously as it was everyone just adding on to the same characters), but that pretty much all stopped before I started rping.
10. If you have multiple muses who are two you’d choose to interact together if you could RP with yourself?
Sara and Rogue. I don’t see many scenarios I would even write them together in threads with the partners I have, but it would be interesting to see, and obviously even that isn’t even the same as rping against one or the other. I’ve never actually written against a Rogue. Honestly I wouldn’t mind it, but for obvious reasons, if I could write against a duplicate of myself, writing MY Rogue, well, that’s obviously the perfect scenario because that means it’s exactly my preferred flavor while also not knowing what exactly is happening next lmao. But I really do think they could be good friends, maybe even something else. It’s just really hard to make that call when I haven’t seen chemistry in action. But they’ve both referred to themselves as monsters, they’ve both got a lot of trauma, something uncontrollable that they had to learn to wrangle, both skilled fighters. Looked I’m always going to say stick two kickass women in the same room and see what happens.

1/4/8/9/13/14/19! Split them up if it gets too long i just like bullying you
Munday stuff! | Always accepting
XDD It’s okayyyy I like your bullying! But obviously u dun know me yet x3 I don’t run at the sight of long posts. Buckle up everyone! We’re going for a ride!
1. What little things do you do special when writing your muse(s) that you wonder if anyone has noticed?
I really like this question, and yet it makes me genuinely wonder... One thing I do but which might not be apparent for people who only know me from one blog, is that I try (try being the keyword here) to change the tone of the writing to match the character. I can’t do much about my general style when it comes to descriptions, it just always comes back, but even then, I use different words depending on the muse even when outside of speech. I’d say that’s pretty subtle though, and maybe I’m the only one who can even notice that but that’s something I pay attention to haha!
Another small thing I like to do, despite writing in a mostly omniscient way, is keep strictly to the character’s pov, even if it means delivering skewed information sometimes. Again I don’t always do that, but sometimes it’s especially relevant and it makes me smile to myself.
I also like separating clearly the speech’s style from the description style, even if I like modifying descriptions a bit to fit the character, I avoid using accents of the specific way the character might be talking. That’s something you’ve maybe noticed in how I write Serik, he’s got specific turns of phrase that I pay special attention to.
One last thing is dropping hints to my character’s past or backstory that explain a current action. Just one line or two. Taken on its own it doesn’t seem much. It might even seem like it’s just a passing thought from the muse, or a reflection of the ‘narrator’ but then hopefully the full info comes out later in RP, or it’s explained OOCly and suddenly the scene can be read on a different level, however small. I like that, even if it’s not all that much, but at the very least I find it satisfying.
4. Has your muse ever gotten very emotional and ‘taken over’ for a reply in a way you didn’t expect?
Always. All the f-ing time! And honestly? That’s how I like my RP the best. Even when the muse isn’t emotional, I try to act as a channel for the character and to avoid guiding things as much as I can. Some muses are easier and louder than others (Serik is one such muse), but that’s what I try to tend towards, even if the action I’m getting from the muse might not seem IC or like it comes from nowhere. In my experience, there’s usually an explanation to that kind of intuition, even if we don’t see it yet. And stifling this tends to smother the muses for me. I prefer relying on the raw intuitive reactions I can get from the muse.
I know everyone is different but that’s what works for me. For me it’s not like I’m watching the character in the room with me or in a mindscape, but more like they’re behind me and I’m the channel and filter in a way. It’s a matter of getting into the right mindset to more or less disappear from the picture. There’s always a bit of leeway at least for reactions but usually they’re very clear to me when the muse is loud.
So when the muse gets very emotional, you can be sure they steer things their way even more. It’s led to really interesting plot-twists over the years. Some that even completely broke the plotting we’d done with the other mun. And I live for those moments. But it’s also part of why I’m increasingly wary of doing RP out of chronological order. I enjoy it immensely, don’t get me wrong, but I just know the muse will do a bad at some point. Something we didn’t expect and derail the RPs set later in time.
Okay... Okay I give XD The rest under the readmore because it’s long!
8. What are other formats you’ve written creatively in (poetry, prose, script, etc)?
I feel a bit bad but... None, really. I’ve done some poetry for school but that hardly counts. And some dabbling in “““““Fanfics”““““ with massive quotation marks because I was so young and I didn’t even have an outline of anything beyond what I was writing in the moment XD Nor did I really publish anything (and what little I might have is now lost somewhere in the depths of the internet, tho for the better really).
I don’t know if it can be called creative writing because it’s mostly drawing but... One thing I did a lot before diving properly into the RP scene on tumblr (my RP was purely in private with my best friend using pictochat before that), was make fancomics. That was my main creative outlet before RP took over. I would have full storylines scripts outlined -- I still have a bunch of them -- even if I never finished drawing a single of those comics. One of them (one of my biggest endeavours, really) is on my personal blog. It didn’t go too far but sometimes I miss doing those.
9. Do you like writing and building up background or NPC characters to your muse?
Answered [here]! :D
Short answer is yesssss, but only really when it’s for OCs and not as much for canon characters.
13. Do you like making promos?
I like the idea of making promos, but it’s a bit the same for me as graphic design. I like the idea of it, but I don’t think I’m good at that at all. I enjoy drawing art for fellow muns that I appreciate, sometimes even art that kind of dual-promotes both blogs, but actual promos? Nah. I really admire people who can, but I’m not cut out for making them.
14. Are you a big fan of AUs?
-Eyes Serik’s verses (still under-construction) page-
...
-Eyes other muses’ Verses pages-
>___>
-Sweats profusely-
Yes. The answer is yes.
19. Explain something on your blog that has a metaphorical/symbolical meaning or is a reference to something else (URL, a tag, blog title, etc)
Hmmm. I’m going to go with something extremely obscure. This blog’s URL used to be “ThatRunawayGuy” simply because that was a big part of then-Sail’s backstory before I reworked this character from the ground up. When I did though, it didn’t really fit as much at all anymore, so I had to find something else. But the ‘that’ in ThatRudeEngineer is a direct reference to the original URL.
Another very trivial thing I can explain that doesn’t even show is the tag I use for memes. “Dash Games”. It’s a common tag, nothing original. But I have a sort of inside joke with myself every time I write it down. Each time, I want to complete it as “Dash games will make you crash” but it’s too long and I didn’t want the possible confusion with a computer crash so I never used that. But just the idea of Serik playing games on his plane’s dashboard and nearly crashing because of that makes me smile every time.
