One problem about being really picky about clothing items and such is that, while you may end up much more likely to get a very nice quality product, oft times, nowadays at least, you'll end up not finding anything and end up deciding to resort to just making it yourself

#op #mitts are one. I want a proper pair of fur lined mitts which is impossible to find and also my thumb is much shorter than average #so any mitt thumb is going to have like. An extra inch of space between top of my thumb and top of the mitts thumb. Which sucks!!!#I want a good pair of boots too but again i suffer. Why is the only lining either plastic or shearling!!!#Looking at custom kamiks and why?? Just give me trad materials or smth please I'm willing to pay the big bucks for it #Also size is a problem! I walk through deep snow often enough that 18-20" boot height is needed and it's also too rare #soon as i finish my gauntlet mitts I'll get the materials and pattern to make myself a pair of mukluks #as they say if you want it done right u gotta do it urself
