[Mugenri High] Ep. 3
Chapter 1: New Teachers and a Case of Mistaken Identity
(Scene: Mugenri High, a vibrant and bustling school environment. The morning bell rings, signaling the start of a new day.)
Yabusame: (excitedly) Hey, everyone! Have you heard the news? We have new teachers joining us today!
Tsubakura: (raising an eyebrow) New teachers? I wonder what they're like. Mugenri High never ceases to surprise us.
(Scene: In the faculty room, the principal's office door opens, and Medias Moritake, Kunimitsu Ooya, Adagumo no Saragimaru, and Adagumo no Yarorochi step out.)
Medias: (adjusting their glasses) Good morning, fellow educators. It's a pleasure to be a part of the Mugenri High faculty.
Kunimitsu: (with a warm smile) Indeed, we're looking forward to contributing to the students' education and growth.
(Scene: Suzumi, wearing an exaggerated disguise resembling Tsubakura, attempts to blend in with the new teachers.)
Suzumi: (whispering to themselves) With this clever disguise, no one will suspect a thing. I'll show everyone just how amazing Tsubakura is!
(Scene: Students gather in the hallway, whispering and buzzing with curiosity about the new teachers.)
Sese: (whispering to Yabusame) Have you seen those new teachers? They seem interesting.
Yabusame: (grinning) I can't wait to find out more about them. Let's go say hello!
(Scene: Yabusame and Sese approach the group of new teachers, unaware of Suzumi's misguided impersonation.)
Yabusame: (cheerfully) Good morning! We're Yabusame and Sese, students of Mugenri High. Welcome to our school!
Medias: (smiling) Thank you, Yabusame and Sese. We're excited to be here and meet all of you.
(Scene: Meanwhile, Tsubakura observes from a distance, noticing Suzumi's comical attempt at disguising themselves as Tsubakura.)
Tsubakura: (chuckling) Oh, Suzumi. They never fail to bring a sense of amusement to our lives.
(Scene: Throughout the day, the new teachers settle into their roles, interacting with students and fellow staff members.)
Chapter 2: A Mysterious Disappearance and an Unexpected Quest
(Scene: Mugenri High, in the common room. Suzumi, wearing their Tsubakura disguise, carefully pours a mysterious substance into Tsubakura's drink. They then glance around mischievously, confident in their plan.)
Suzumi: (whispering to themselves) With this potion, Tsubakura won't know what hit them. Time to lure them into the common room.
(Scene: The classroom, where the students start to realize the absence of both Tsubakura and Suzumi.)
Yabusame: (looking around) Hey, has anyone seen Tsubakura? They're usually always here by now.
Sese: (scratching their head) You're right. And where's Suzumi? They're always causing some kind of trouble.
(Scene: The class begins to discuss their concerns, realizing something might be amiss.)
Aoji: (quietly) Perhaps we should investigate. It's unlike Tsubakura and Suzumi to be absent without a reason.
Tenkai: (nodding) Agreed. Let's split into teams and search the school. We need to find them quickly.
(Scene: The students divide into groups, each taking a different part of the school to search.)
(Scene: Suzumi, unaware of the impending search, leads the disguised Tsubakura into the common room.)
Suzumi: (excitedly) Tsubakura, I have something special for you. Come, let's enjoy it together.
(Tsubakura, unknowingly sipping the laced drink, begins to feel a strange sensation.)
Tsubakura: (confused) Suzumi, what did you put in this drink? I don't feel...right.
(Scene: Meanwhile, the search parties diligently comb through the hallways, classrooms, and outdoor areas of the school.)
(Scene: One group, consisting of Yabusame, Sese, and Aoji, enters the common room, finding Tsubakura and Suzumi.)
Yabusame: (worried) Tsubakura, Suzumi, what's going on? We've been looking everywhere for you.
Suzumi: (feigning innocence) Oh, Yabusame, we were just having a little private moment here. Nothing to worry about.
(Tsubakura, struggling with the effects of the potion, tries to speak but finds it difficult.)
Tsubakura: (weakly) Something...isn't right. Help...
(Scene: The class, realizing something is seriously wrong, rushes to their side.)
Aoji: (concerned) We need to get Tsubakura help immediately. This is no ordinary illness.
(Scene: The group of students supports Tsubakura and Suzumi, guiding them out of the common room.)
(Scene: As they rush toward the school nurse's office, Tsurubami Senri, the principal, appears, sensing the disturbance.)
Tsurubami: (gravely) What has happened here? We must act swiftly to resolve this situation.
Chapter 3: Secrets Unveiled and Obsessions Confessed
(Scene: The school nurse's office. Tsubakura lies on a bed, still weak from the effects of the potion. Suzumi stands nearby, looking anxious yet determined.)
Tsubakura: (weakly) Suzumi, what is going on? Why would you do this to me?
Suzumi: (takes a deep breath) Tsubakura, I have a confession to make. I have been harboring a secret, an obsession with you.
(Tsubakura's eyes widen in surprise, trying to comprehend Suzumi's words.)
Tsubakura: (confused) Obsession? But why? I don't understand.
Suzumi: (nervously) It's true. I've been plotting your destruction, Tsubakura. I wanted to bring you down, to make you mine.
(Tsubakura's classmates, who have gathered in the room, exchange bewildered glances.)
Yabusame: (concerned) Suzumi, this isn't like you. What has gotten into you?
Suzumi: (lowering their gaze) I can't explain it fully, but there's another side of me, a darker personality. It's obsessed with Tsubakura and has been planning all of this behind the scenes.
Tsubakura: (struggling to sit up) Suzumi, why didn't you come to me? We could have worked through this together.
Suzumi: (regretfully) I was afraid, Tsubakura. Afraid of your rejection and afraid of facing the truth about myself. But seeing you suffer like this... it's made me realize how wrong I was.
(Scene: The atmosphere in the room shifts, as the classmates begin to process Suzumi's confession.)
Aoji: (softly) Suzumi, we all have our struggles and insecurities, but that doesn't justify hurting others.
Sese: (serious) You need to take responsibility for your actions and find a way to make amends, Suzumi.
(Scene: Suzumi looks remorseful, their different personalities weighing heavily upon them.)
Suzumi: (whispering) I understand. I will do everything in my power to make things right. I owe it to Tsubakura and to all of you.
(Scene: Tsurubami Senri, having silently observed the situation, steps forward.)
Tsurubami: (authoritative) Suzumi, you will be held accountable for your actions. But for now, our priority is Tsubakura's well-being. Let us focus on their recovery.
(Scene: The classmates surround Tsubakura with support and reassurance.)
Tsubakura: (weakly) Thank you, everyone. We'll find a way to resolve this. Together.
(Scene: The chapter ends with a sense of determination and the promise of confronting the challenges that lie ahead.)
Chapter 4: The Road to Redemption
(Scene: The school courtyard. The sun shines down on the students as they gather for an important discussion.)
Tsubakura: (addressing the group) Thank you all for being here. We have a long journey ahead of us, but we must face it together. Suzumi has shown remorse for their actions, and now it's time to work towards their redemption.
Suzumi: (determined) I'm ready to make amends, Tsubakura. I want to prove that I can change and become a better person.
Yabusame: (supportive) We believe in you, Suzumi. But actions speak louder than words. It'll take time to regain our trust.
Sese: (serious) We need to establish a plan for Suzumi's rehabilitation. It won't be easy, but with proper guidance, they can find a path of redemption.
(Scene: The group discusses various methods to help Suzumi overcome their obsession and redirect their energies towards positive pursuits.)
Lumen: (thoughtful) Perhaps engaging in activities that promote empathy and understanding could help Suzumi develop a stronger sense of compassion.
Aoji: (softly) They need to confront their inner demons and understand the root causes of their obsession. Therapy and self-reflection could be beneficial.
(Scene: The conversation continues, with each classmate offering their own insights and suggestions.)
Shion: (firmly) Suzumi should also be held accountable for the consequences of their actions. It's important for them to understand the impact they've had on others.
Tsurubami: (wise) Let us not forget that forgiveness and second chances are integral to growth. We must strike a balance between consequences and the opportunity for redemption.
(Scene: As the discussion reaches its conclusion, a sense of unity and determination fills the air.)
Tsubakura: (smiling) Suzumi, we're going to support you through this journey. We want to see you grow and overcome your struggles.
Suzumi: (grateful) Thank you, Tsubakura. I won't let you down. I'll work hard to earn your trust and the trust of our friends.
(Scene: The classmates gather around Suzumi, offering their support and encouragement.)
Yabusame: (playfully) Just remember, Suzumi, we'll be watching you closely. No funny business.
Suzumi: (laughs) Understood, Yabusame. I won't give you any reason to doubt me.
(Scene: The chapter ends with a renewed sense of hope and the understanding that everyone deserves a chance to change.)
Chapter 5: Lunchtime Rush
(Scene: The school cafeteria is bustling with students, each finding a spot to enjoy their lunch before the upcoming class.)
Yabusame: (excitedly) Ah, lunchtime! The best part of the day! I wonder what they have on the menu today.
Suzumi: (joining Yabusame) I hope they have my favorite dish. I could really use some comfort food right now.
(Scene: The classmates gather around a table, chatting and enjoying their meals.)
Lumen: (calmly) It's nice to have this time to relax and recharge before class starts. I brought my own homemade lunch today.
Sese: (analyzing their food) This meal is perfectly balanced in nutrients and flavor. I believe in maintaining a healthy diet for optimal performance.
(Scene: As the conversation continues, other characters enter the cafeteria.)
Haru: (softly) Excuse me, may I join you all? I'm not very familiar with the other students, and it would be nice to have some company.
Yabusame: (welcoming) Of course, Haru! Pull up a chair. We're just about to dive into our lunches.
(Scene: The classmates introduce themselves to Haru and engage in friendly conversation.)
Shion: (curious) Haru, where are you from? You're the first exchange student we've had in a while.
Haru: (reserved) I come from a distant land. I'm still adjusting to life here, but everyone has been kind so far.
(Scene: Meanwhile, the clock ticks, indicating that class will start soon.)
Tsubakura: (checking the time) We should finish up our lunches and head to class. We don't want to be late.
(Scene: The classmates quickly finish their meals and gather their belongings.)
Suzumi: (excited) I can't wait to see what we'll learn today! Class has been so much fun lately.
(Scene: The chapter ends with the classmates leaving the cafeteria, ready to embark on their next academic adventure.)
Chapter 6: Advance Now on the Road of Pupils, the Road of School Clubs
(Scene: The school corridors are abuzz with activity as students make their way to various after-school clubs.)
Yabusame: (enthusiastically) It's time for club activities! I can't wait to see what everyone is up to.
Sese: (determined) I have been practicing diligently for the club competition. This is our chance to shine!
(Scene: The classmates disperse to their respective club rooms, each showcasing their unique interests and talents.)
Lumen: (entering the music club room) Ah, the soothing melodies of the music club. I look forward to playing some tunes with my fellow members.
Suzumi: (sneaking into the drama club room) I wonder if Tsubakura is part of the drama club. This might be my chance to act alongside them.
(Scene: Meanwhile, other characters explore different club activities.)
Haru: (observing the art club) The art club seems like a tranquil place. Perhaps I can express myself through painting or drawing.
Sese: (entering the science club room) Science club, my haven of knowledge and discovery. Let's see what fascinating experiments await me today.
(Scene: As the clubs come alive with energy and passion, the characters fully immerse themselves in their chosen activities.)
Shion: (joining the gardening club) Gardening is not just about plants; it's about nurturing life and finding peace in nature. I'm excited to get my hands dirty.
Sese: (presenting a science experiment) Behold, my latest creation! A small-scale volcano that erupts with colorful bubbles. Science is truly magical.
(Scene: The chapter continues with glimpses of other clubs and their members, showcasing their talents and camaraderie.)
Yago: (demonstrating martial arts moves) Welcome to the martial arts club! Join us and learn the art of self-defense and discipline.
Clause: (manipulating gravity) The physics club might not appreciate my unique abilities, but it's a place where I can explore the mysteries of the universe.
(Scene: The chapter concludes with the students wrapping up their club activities and heading home.)
Tsubakura: (gathering with the classmates) Another productive day at school. Let's head home and rest, knowing we've made progress on our chosen paths.

I realize the futch scale has fallen out of favour and what not but like. Len'en futch scale
Ramble under the cut
Made this for me and me alone, as my headcanon is that all the Len'ens without a set gender are all the same gender. What that is depends on my mood but it's usually between non-binary and male
This is much more a "feminine to masculine" scale than a futch scale, so my apologies
This is mostly based on my headcanons, which in turn is based on that one gender survey a long time ago
(Also ALSO this is rabbit-of-mugenri's new account, 'cause I can't log in to that account anymore ;_;)
Stone Butch (very masculine): Kurohebi, Clause, Hibaru, Kunimitsu
Butch (masculine): Aoji, Hooaka, Kuroji, Shou, Lumen, Medias, Kujiru, Kaoru, Garaiya, Yago, Jinbei
Soft Butch (somewhat masculine): Tsubakura, Yaorochi, Iyozane, Kaisen
Futch (androgynous): Tenkai
Butchy Femme (somewhat feminine): Yabusame, Sese, Tsugumi, Chouki
Femme (feminine): Suzumi (Hamal Cine), Tsurubami, Sukune, Saragimaru, Fumikado, Mitsumo(?), Sanra, Para, Mitori, Haiji, Terumi
High Femme (very feminine): Jun, Shion, Souko, Xeno a
#len'en#lenen#so my actual headcanon is pretty close to this#but with kujiru and especially yaorochi more femme#and shion a wee bit more butch

What movie genres do some of the Len'ens like and dislike?
Since I kinda figure Mugenri probably has some kind of rising movie industry (since I'm pretty sure TVs are mentioned to be a thing in Devanagara somewhere), this means that quite a few Mugenri natives actually have opinions on this subject too. Yay!
So generally speaking, war movies are pretty unpopular. This is because many Len'ens, both Mugenrian and Outside Worlder, have trauma related to war, so naturally they have quite the aversion to it. You won't ever find a war movie in the Shitodos' DVD rack, just as an example.
That isn't to say violent flicks overall are unpopular though! Action and Horror/Thriller are pretty popular overall, even if quite a few people mock them for unrealistic special effects (when in actuality, they've just been in actual combat too much). Although horror movies do have a notable side audience of youkai who watch them purely to see the monsters kill a bunch of insufferable humans. Sukune, Sese, and Yaorochi (when they can be convinced) have probably all watched a few of these in the past together lol.
Character specifics, Yabusame and Tsubakura probably both like comedies and sci-fi. Though Tsubakura tends to mock the romantic ones specifically, mainly because they are a cynic. Tsubakura can't stand psychological thrillers, whereas Yabusame can't stand dramas ("He should just tell her he's dying!"). Both would probably enjoy cheesy B-movies and dramas that accidentally turn comedic.
For the Shitodos, Aoji really likes high fantasy and, weirdly enough, cosmic horror. Hooaka hates it when Aoji gets to pick the movie, because they really don't like jumpscares (and totally not because they are scared by them). Aoji returns this favor with a dislike of their favorite sports movies. As for Kuroji and Hoojiro, they have similar taste in documentaries and pretentious art house films. Kuroji doesn't like Hoojiro's dramas though, finding them trite. Though to be fair, Hoojiro doesn't get sci-fi, so it all evens out. Kuroji is probably invited to Yabusame and Tsubakura's riffings semi frequently as well.
There is plenty of room for others, but these are just the ones off the top of my head. Plenty of others have their own opinions of course.

Since the thought just occurred to me...Do you have any dark and/or angsty Kuroji headcanons you would like to share? If you don't mind me asking if course!
OH BOY DO I EVER
Okay so like...one of them only really works in my AU (which started off as "what if Len'en but KKHTA" but is now more like "grimdark Len'en that's a stealth sequel to KKHTA"). Also it's fairly NSFW so. It goes in a different post! :D
(Content warning for panic attacks and brief gore)
Nightmares
Sometimes Kuroji has nightmares.
They're always the same, always from their time at the army. Or rather, the potential consequences of them not following orders.
They're not realistic, they know. Why would the army kill off Tsubakura, just because they didn't follow every exact order? It would be inefficient and wasteful.
But Kuroji saw the look in the general's eyes when he warned them about the consequences of their actions. Of how he knew just how high in regard they hold Enraku.
Kuroji can still feel blood on their hands when they awaken, the visions of Tsubakura's severed head placed neatly in their work locker still vivid.
These nightmares trail them all the way to Mugenri. One night, Saragimaru awakens to the sound of Kuroji screaming.
Their naginata and katana are in their hands faster than one can blink. But after taking stock of the cabin, they soon learn that there was no intruder. Only themselves, Aoji, Hooaka, and a Kuroji they've never seen before.
They've stopped screaming, but now Kuroji's muttering something too quiet for Saragimaru to hear. They're clutching the bed sheets, tears pouring down in full force.
Hooaka pulls them into hug, murmuring loudly enough for Saragimaru to hear, "It's alright, you're alright. We're in Mugenri now. Tsubakura is sleeping at the Senri Shrine. The general's not here. You're safe now."
Aoji begins to climb out of the bed, but stops when they see Saragimaru at the doorway, naginata and katana at hand. They lock eyes with the Orochi, a tired and solemn look in their own green eyes.
The two of them stay like this, unmoving, until Hooaka calls out, "Aoji? Get the tissues."
Wordlessly, Aoji complies, finally breaking eye contact with Saragimaru. Hooaka has yet to acknowledge their presence.
~~
The next morning, Kuroji was back to their usual haughty self. In fact, none of the Shitodo's were acting like anything out of the ordinary had happened last night.
Saragimaru wanted to say something, for someone to break this uneasy silence. But no words form, not until Kuroji and Hooaka leave the cabin and Saragimaru finds themselves alone with Aoji.
"You're probably wonder what that was last night," Aoji says quietly, approaching Saragimaru at their post.
They didn't say anything, but the look they gave Aoji was encouragement enough.
So Aoji began. The tale of the Scholar of Prehistory, laid out before before Saragimaru.
When Kuroji came back, Saragimaru still hated the way they ordered them around. But there was something in their expression now, something that Kuroji didn't like.
Saragimaru did as they said, avoiding the icy glare Kuroji gave them. Yes, they still couldn't forgive them, but they hoped that one day Kuroji would forgive themselves.

Said you were open for prompts, no? Here's one, do with it what you'd like:
"They had long awaited the day they could take revenge on the scoundrel. But now, looking down upon them like this, they couldn't help but feel a twinge of...pity for them."
wrote this instead of sleeping lol, if theres any grammatical errors, no there isnt <3
anyways ill also be posting this to my drabbles fic
The only sounds that could be heard that day were the whirring of knives, the crackle of danmaku, and the snapping of foliage as their battle reigned on. Neither seemed to care about the destruction their battle brought.
Most everyone knew who these two were at this point, more knew of the scoundrel that plagued the land but if someone knew of their misdeeds then they just as likely knew of the snake they were fighting too. It had been many, many years since Kuroji and the other outsiders first made their appearance in Mugenri, some would say too many years for any ordinary human.
Kuroji wore a smug grin on their face, “I see you haven’t changed at all since our last ‘meeting’ have you Saragi~”
“Don’t call me that you low life-” Saragimaru spat, “-and I could say the same about you.”
They kept firing off spell cards at each other, they had both gotten much stronger after all this time. As much as Saragimaru wouldn’t like to admit it, being Kuroji’s ‘servant’ did help them get stronger. So much so that they were evenly matched with Kuroji if they played their cards right. And now with the stakes as high as they were they had to play them right. Of course, Kuroji was going to be just as ruthless as Saragimaru, it was simply a test of who would get the upper hand first.
The battle wasn’t going in either ones advantage until Saragimaru cast one of their toughest spell cards Transmigration "Eye of Hihayahi". While Kuroji had seen this spell card before, it had been improved upon. The spaces in between bullets became much tighter, and they were faster on top of that. Kuroji lasts a good while into the spell but it was only a matter of time until they got overwhelmed by the bullets and lasers. They got blown back by a particularly well placed laser and fell down through the tree line. Saragimaru descended to the ground floor searching for wherever they landed. It wasn’t hard finding them as there was blood haphazardly splattered across the ground, evidently pooling from a gash in Kuroji’s side.
As cathartic as it was to get their revenge after all these years, seeing them like this, battered and bloodied... they didn’t know why but they felt a twinge of pity for them. It didn’t make sense right? After years of torment they shouldn’t have cared about them at all. Sure they once cared about not hurting their siblings by proxy but they stopped caring about that after about a century or two?
Saragimaru tried to stop dwelling on their emotions, “So it’s come to this, do you have any last words?”
Kuroji chuckled, despite being in the worst position they’d ever been in, they still seemed to have an abundance of confidence in them. “Don’t be silly...” They said in between labored breaths, “This isn’t over until I say it’s over.”
Just then they fired off another spell card and got back on their feet, albeit weakly, and Saragimaru quickly stepped back. “Entire World Reversed”, it wasn’t a spell card they had ever seen before but its effects became evident quickly as their vision flipped. They were stunned to see that everything had been mirrored, up was down and left was right, they couldn’t make sense of it. They tried shifting right to dodge a bullet only to step left, directly into a bullet. They tried to fly above the bullets range only to hit some that came from behind them and they hit the ground with no idea how to dodge Kuroji’s attack. They couldn’t focus on attacking them either, in fact they couldn’t see them at all.
Then the spell card had ended and with their vision restored they realized that Kuroji wasn’t there at all. A new trail of blood told Saragimaru everything they needed to know and they quickly gave chase. They wildly cut through the thick underbrush of the woods, chasing their greatest adversary like they would prey. Soon enough they reached a clearing in the woods, they expected blood or any sign of the scoundrel but to their shock there was nothing to suggest they’d crossed this path. They realized only then that they’d completely lost sight of Kuroji, and with no idea of where they went and nothing to suggest a route they’d taken it’d be next to impossible to track them down.
Saragimaru scowled curses under shaky breath, they’d been so close only to lose when it mattered the most. They had to admit that they were somewhat impressed, they can’t recall any other human that gave them this much trouble and for so long without faltering. They supposed only Kuroji could be that person.

Kaisen Azuma
We gone over Kujiru last time, so it's time to go over their sworn rival and fellow shikigami under their master Garaiya Ogata:
Three-legged Moon Seeker — Kaisen Azuma
Name
Their family name, Azuma (東), means "east", and is a common Japanese family name, specifically in western Japan and the Ryukyu Islands. In their given name, Kaisen (海仙), the characters mean "sea" (海) and "enlightened person" (仙).
The latter specifically refer to the xiān (仙) of Chinese conception, it refers to different things depending on the context, but most notably and relevant to us, are enlightened hermits that have achieved immortality and wield powerful magic, often Taoist in nature.
Title
Kaisen's title, the "Three-legged Moon Seeker" (月を仰ぐ三つの足), is technically the "Three Legs That Seek the Moon", to be direct, but this ordering is chosen to sound more poetic.
Additionally, we shout take a look at the verb ao-gu (仰ぐ), which has the following meanings:
(Physically) look up to
(Metaphorically) look up to; respect
Seek (for help, for knowledge, etc.)
Turn one's head upwards and drink in one gulp
Out of all four, 2 and 3 seem like the most likely meanings. as the moon seems to be a symbol for the "emperor" or even just "authority" in Mugenri/Len'en.
In the translation, 3 is chosen, likely because Kaisen didn't actually respect the "emperor" on their side of the war. In fact, Kaisen doesn't even agree with trusting Chouki as the new emperor, despite having personally trained them prior.
Species and Abilities
While Kaisen shares similarities with many other animal youkai, like having animal characteristics and being able to transform into an animal, they are technically a "sacred animal" (霊獣). However, what this means isn't exactly clear.
Kaisen is quite high in their overall abilities, they're a poerful fighter and have a number of abilities, including their knowledge of Taoist arts, ability to use shikigami of their own and their clairvoyance, though the accuracy can apparently be a bit lacking.
Their main ability, the one listed on their profile, is to "gather financial fortune". They are able to bless those who are lucky with fortune and happiness, upon other things, which is likely a manifestation of this ability.
As a shikigami, they are considered more powerful than Kujiru. Unfortunately, they require more spiritual energy to activate and activate their own shikigami in turn, this ends up being less efficient than Kujiru and leads to the latter being more convenient for Garaiya.
Mythological Bases
Kaisen actually a number of mythological bases, from both Chinese and Japanese sources, which make them a very interesting character, at least in my opinion. So let's take a look at them!
Jinchan, the Money Toad
Kaisen is predominantly based on a mythological Chinese creature known as Jinchan (金蟾 lit. "gold/golden/money toad"). It's a toad that has three legs, two front legs and one hind leg, which is positioned like a tadpole's tail at the back of the toad.
This is referenced in Kaisen only having three limbs, one of their legs we see in-game being a prosthetic, as well as in their title "Three-legged Moon Seeker".
Below: A Jinchan statue from the behind, used in Feng Shui to attract wealth to the household.
Jinchan is also related to the Chinese Taoist and legendary immortal Liu Haichan (劉海蟾). His first name translates to "sea toad" and is considered an embodiment of the Chinese God of Wealth.
In the folktale Liu Hai Tricks Jinchan (劉海戲金蟾), it is said Liu tamed a malevolent and greedy three-legged toad after fishing it out of the east sea with a string of coins.
It became Jinchan and was henceforth the immortal's companion, following Liu wherever he went. Kaisen's relationship with Garaiya may be a reference to this myth.
Below: Liu carrying the toad in his arm after fishing it out.
Additionally, it is said that Jinchan spewed treasure from its mouth with each step that it took after Liu, benefiting the poor wherever it went. This is likely referenced in Kaisen's ability to "gather financial fortune".
Gamma-sennin, the Toad Hermit
In Japan, Liu Haichan inspired the mythological Taoist immortal Gama-sennin (蝦蟇仙人 Lit. "Toad Taoist Immortal"), who in turn inspired parts of Kaisen's character.
Gama-sennin appears in the legends surrounding Taira no Yoshikado (平良門), the legendary hidden eldest son of Taira no Masakado who learns toad magic from the immortal and uses his powers in an attempt to avenge his father.
In the 17th century yomihon novel series "The Tale of Utou Yasutaka's Loyalty" (善知安方忠義伝) by Santō Kyōden, this teacher figure is instead a 3000-year old toad spirit named Nikushi-sen (肉芝仙) who lived on Mount Tsukuba (筑波山).
Below: Nikushi-sen (upper-centre) teaching Yoshikado (right of Nikushi-sen) toad magic.
He taught toad magic to Yoshikado's sister Nyozou-ni (如蔵尼) as well, later possessing her to transform her into Takiyasha-hime (滝夜叉姫), whom Taira no Chouki is based on.
This would explain Kaisen having a part in training Chouki, as well as their spell card that reference Mt. Tsukuba, Leaping Medicine "Tsukuba Toad Oil". I should note that it's also a reference to a local cure-all from Mt. Tsukuba.
Seia-jin, the "Chinese" frog "god"
Gamma-sennin is said to command the youkai Seia-jin or Chinwa-sen (青蛙神 lit. "(green) frog god"), also simply known as Seia (青蛙 lit. "(green) frog), which plays a role similar to that of Jinchan. Indeed, despite having "god" in its name, it is but a youkai.
Both Seia-jin and Gamma-sennin are actually said to be "Chinese", but it's fairly certain that they are actually Japanese inventions.
Particularly, Seia-jin can be traced back to a Chinese novel of the same name, which tells of several tales related to the mythical beast. However, it was never worshipped as an actual deity in China.
It is said that the house that Seia-jin appears in front of will have its family blessed with financial fortune and happiness, this is again referenced in Kaisen's ability.
Summary: Taoist Hermit/Toad Familiar Pairs
It is in reality just as possible that JynX only based Kaisen on one of these Taoist hermit/toad familiar pairs, since the Chinese pair pretty heavily inspired the Japanese pair.
However, if I had to narrow it down, I'd actually say that Kaisen's based on the Chinese Jinchan but the Japanese Gamma-sennin. Only Jinchan is is said to have three legs, while Gamma-sennin's role in mentoring Taira clansmen parallels the story of Len'en directly.
It's just as possible that these two are what JynX ultimately ended up focusing on, but given the intertwined nature of these four it would realistically be impossible to pinpoint unless we learn more about Kaisen, or even get a direct answer from JynX.
No matter what the truth really is, the idea behind Kaisen's main inspiration should be clear enough.
Bonus: The "Lunar Spirit"
Here we get into slightly shakier territory: I believe that Kaisen may also be inspired by the Chinese concept of the "lunar spirit" (月精), the spiritual essence of the moon.
There are three major candidates as to who this spirit is, the Chinese Moon Rabbit (月兔), the dark parts of the moon, the moon goddess Chang'e (嫦娥) and an unspecified toad, the light parts of the moon.
Below: A bronze mirror depicting Chang'e (left), the moon rabbit (right) and the toad (bottom-center) surrounding a sweet osmanthus on the moon.
This toad is sometimes said to be what Chang'e transformed into after flying to the moon, but modern Feng Shui instead equates the lunar toad with Jinchan. This may explain why Kaisen is called the "Moon Seeker" in their title.
The concept of the lunar essence is believed to have arisen as the counterpart to the "solar essences" (日之精), the "three-legged crows" (三足烏) that lived in the suns (multiple because Chinese mythology tells that there used to be 10 of those).
When spread to Japan, these three-legged crows fused with the divine messenger bird of the Shinto sun goddess Amaterasu, the Yatagarasu (八咫烏), who is sometimes said to be the sun itself.
If the lunar spirit is extended to be the counterpart of the Yatagarasu as well, this may explain Kaisen's status as a "sacred animal".
Minor Theory: Kaisen's Role
I have a small theory on Kaisen's role as a sacred animal based on the idea that the lunar toad could be extended to be the counterpart of the Yatagarasu.
Let's first learn more about the Yatagarasu: In Japanese mythology, it is most famously the divine messenger bird of the sun goddess Amaterasu (or, depending on the source, Takagi-no-Kami, the second god to come into existence).
It was a gigantic bird who guided Kamuyamato Iwarebiko-no-Mikoto (神倭伊波礼琵古命) through the dangerous lands of Yamato to a suitable place to set up his government as the legendary 1st emperor of Japan, Emperor Jimmu (神武天皇).
Below: The Yatagarasu guiding Iwarebiko (center).
My theory is that perhaps Kaisen is a similar being, this time of the moon rather than the sun, a divine messenger sent to guide Mugenri's "true emperor".
This may explain why they are the "moon seeker", as well as why they were against following Chouki as the new emperor, as they may have a sense for who is meant to be, or at least suitable to be, the emperor of Mugenri.
Note: Tsukuyomi in Mugenri
If Kaisen truly is a sacred animal sent by some deity on the moon to guide Mugenri's "true emperor", it may be that they are in fact sent by the Shinto god of the moon, Tsukuyomi-no-Mikoto (月読命).
This ties quite neatly into this theory I had about the origins of Mugenri, particularly the bit near the end where I suggest that Tsukuyomi may be the god of Mugenri as a whole.
Tsukuyomi being the "supreme" god of Mugenri may also explain Mugenri's association between the moon and rulership, in opposition to the outside's sun as the symbol of authority, in Japan at least.
Additionally, the Japanese royal family, the one in reality I mean, trace their own ancestry back to the Shinto sun goddess Amaterasu.
Maybe a similar thing once happened or is meant to happen with Mugenri? Perhaps Kaisen's role is to look for a descendant of Tsukuyomi and guide them to become the emperor of Mugenri?
We obviously have no way of knowing right now, but it's a fun possibility to consider nevertheless.
Ending
And that's all I have on Kaisen! A lot of mythology and quite a bit of theory this time, but with such a mysterious character it is indeed quite fun to speculate a slight tad.
As usual, I hope you enjoyed~! :)

Okay workin on the list of lads to include in the poll and I wanna get some input
To clarify the basis of this poll is gonna be "Who would create the stupidest fucking discourse" and I'm calling is Mugenri's Most Problematic cus I like the way it sounds. With that outta the way:
So far I am excluding fellas that essentially don't have Official Art in the sense of a full body, full color, high res image, so no EmEv guys, Haru, or Hoojiro. I'll also be excluding Terumi cus we dont know very much about them, they'll jus be lumped in w Mitsumo.
I'll include Jinbei, as well as NILU and Tom solely bc I wanna see Tom in this so bad and those two cant be separated. Not including Lin cus that means I'd have to add or remove someone else and like. They only got 1 vote in the Len'en Popularity poll so I don't think anyone should be too butt hurt.
#mod sukune#not quote#if anyone got any objections to who I'm not including feel free to yell at me (nicely I will cry (no I wont)) in my inbox or comments

The land was truly an oddity, as one could think. For one it's large size was already made evident to someone with power residing in the eastern wonderland. Flight is a handy way to cement a vantage point, but it's clear as the strange day that this Mugenri was at least somewhat bigger. Just as much as the difference of it's own fairies-charging forwards to try and slice with swords while firing danmaku.
But now he had found himself in a bit of respite, at a familiar but still rather odd shrine. The place looked to be larger than the Hakurei shrine, though sharing in it's clear lack of visitors. Even the fairies seemed to be unwilling to follow him all the way in here. It was almost cold and eerie how it was, in spite of the warming renewal that spring should've brought. He was left there for a little while as the bells echoed out in the wind.
"Huh?"
Someone's voice echos out into the formerly silent grounds, high-pitched in a way a child's should sound. But the way it's carried, can feel somewhat off. If he were to turn to face the arrival from deeper in the building, he'll find an all too familiar pink staring up at him.
"Someone came? I thought they all gave up the ghost after so long. What a pleasant surprise!"
The sound of a coin dropping into an offering box, followed by dull ringing of the shrine's bells. A rare occurrence for the shrine. But this time it is not of Gensokyo's Hakurei Shrine, or Gensokyo at all. The one performing these acts, the magician known as Aura, has left one land of fantasy for another for the purpose of exploration and investigation.
Clap! Clap!
Though he's following through with the motions of prayer, Aura's mind is instead focused on the short journey from the mysterious shard on the banks of that strangely straight river to this shrine, the unusual difficulty he had trying to travel on the tori lined road and so had to travel along side it, how well armed the fairies of this land were, the seemingly missing sun.
And now here he was, at Mugenri's Senri Shrine, using the prayer ritual to possibly attract the attention of the shrine's staff. Aura figures that if Mugenri is anything like Gensokyo, then those who live in these sacred grounds are the best to ask for information. All for as little as 500 yen...

While Koishi is out finding the one they call haniwa to rebuild their home the others are still enjoying themselves in the campfire with supplies of food still given by Tenko and then the hell fairy Clownpiece had decided to celebrate their victory with a little anthem she always sing during her time in all wars in american history. The others clapped their hands altogether as the fairy begins to sing her- No, the people's athem.
" Courage! "
" Duty! "
" Honor! "
" We call upon our troopers, in this our darkest hour, our way of life is what we're fighting for, the flag that flies above us, inspires us each day, to give our very best in every way! "
And then began the rest of the family sing along through out the cold halloween night in mugenri, their cries so loud that the ones over from sanctuary can hear them from afar.
" It's a good day to die, when you know the reasons why, citizens, we fight for what is right, A noble sacrifice, When duty calls, you pay the price, For the Federation I will give my life! "
" Well all is fair in love and war,
That's what my gunny says, you're not alive unless you're almost dyin' ! "
" These are the words I march by, Duty courage, Honor! And every single day I'm out there tryin'! "
" It's a good day to die, when you know the reasons why, citizens, we fight for what is right, A noble sacrifice, When duty calls, you pay the price, For the Federation I will give my life! "
" Courage! "
" Duty! "
" Honor! "
" The Eagle, he flies high above us,
The Eagle, he makes our spirit soar,
He gives me the strength to carry on, To fight, and win this war! "
" It's a good day to die, When you know the reasons why,Citizens, we fight for what is right! "
" Courage, duty, honor! "
" A noble sacrifice, When duty calls, you pay the price, For the Federation I will give my life! "
" Courage Duty Honor! "
" It's a good day to die, When you know the reasons why, citizens, we fight for what is right! A noble sacrifice, When duty calls, you pay the price, For the Federation I will give my life! "
" Courage, Duty, Honor! "
" For the Federation I will give my life! "
After tgey had let out their anthem they all cheered and celebrated as they began to eat their food, clanking their drinks together as they all drink their bottles of vodka, juice, and fresh water happily in the campfire set around them. Clownpiece has inspired the others, and thanks to that inspiration they had become stronger than before as they no longer feel weak and full of sorrow. The fairy pretty much made their lives a bit better by teaching them the ways of fighting back and freedom.

Mugenri Fact of the Day… 6? And 7
For some reason, my memories of yesterday are hazy… I don’t remember doing this. So, here’s facts 6 & 7:
While being a master of weapon forging, Yago’s come across some legendary tools, just fit for making legendery weapons. He stores these tools in his toolshed.
However… it’s been centuries since Yago’s been able to get into his toolshed, since he lost his key. It seems standard weapon-forging tools just aren’t as high precision as you need to make a key.

Undertale clearly is a ripoff of Len'en. The most obvious proof for this is the fact that the main-character and many other characters of Undertale are "oh, what a coincidence" without a defined sex. How high do you think is the chance for this to be just a mere coincidence. Well, I am not finished yet. You see there are many big and small hints in the game. Consider the fact that that the child easily got into the underworld, but it is hard to escape from there, just like JynX described the Mugenri Barrier. Or the role, Skeletons play in the game. Almost at the start of the game you meet a Skeleton (or two in undertales case) which at the beginning may seem weak, but at the very end of the game turn out to be one if not the strongest character in the game. Just like Mugenri, the underground is ruled by two beings, of which one is currently not an active ruler. When in Len'en Tsurubami leaves Mugenri in Evanescent Existence (which can be seen as the beginning of the actual story) in Undertale Toriel returns to the palace at the end of the game. Of course I could go on and on for hours about this, but I think if you aren't completely retarded, you should get the point. Undertale is a ripoff of Len'en. This also means that all self-proclaimed "Undertale-Fans" are actually Len'en-Fans, who are simply not aware of the existence of Len'en.

How do the Len'ens usually eat? Like sloppy? Normal? Disgustingly? Eats off something besides a table? Like the floor?
Depends on the Len'en in question, of course. Usually, the higher the status the Len'en is used to, the better the eater they are at the table.
This isn't an exact science though. Fumikado has always been a very sloppy eater, despite being used to high status. Meanwhile Kuroji, despite having always been riding on the poverty line, has very strict table manners (and expects you to follow them of course).
I can't think of too many that would eat off the floor though. Shou is probably prone to eating whatever they find in the woods, so maybe them? Saragimaru perhaps? Since (I like to think) they spent most of their time in Mugenri before being blackmailed as homeless, table manners fly out the window there. They'd probably still try to maintain some manners though (and resume a degree of properness once given a warm table to eat on). Ditto Orochin, of course too.
Honestly, the issue is less the actual table manners and more the food itself some of these guys like to eat. I still dunno what dark matter ramen is, other than that it will probably be inedible to everyone but a few weirdos lol.
#I've been spotted! (inbox)#orange and her bizarre len'en headcanons#taira no fumikado#kuroji shitodo#shou amanomori#adagumo no saragimaru#(don't have too much on table manners)#(have plenty on food crimes though)#(food crimes are a recurring theme in my fics as well as in canon it seems lol)#(...and this'll be the last one for tonight!)#(you can still send them in)#(I just won't be answering until morning)

[Mugenri High] Ep. 11
Chapter 1: Farewell, Mugenri High
(Scene: Mugenri High School, on the last day of the semester. The atmosphere is filled with a mix of excitement and nostalgia.)
Shou: (cheerfully sipping rainwater from her cupped hands) Ah, delicious rain! It's the perfect way to start the day.
Jun: (setting up her umbrella stand) Umbrellas for sale! Stay dry and stylish in any weather!
(Yabusame approaches a butterfly fluttering nearby and tries to strike up a conversation.)
Yabusame: Hey there, little butterfly! Want to be friends? We can explore the beautiful meadows together!
(Butterfly flutters away, seemingly uninterested. Yabusame shrugs and continues on with a carefree smile.)
(Scene shifts to the bustling hallways, where students are saying their goodbyes and exchanging contact information.)
Kuroji: (hugging Aoji) Don't forget to keep in touch over the break, okay? We've got to plan our summer adventures!
Aoji: (smiling) Of course! We'll make the most out of our time off. See you soon!
(Clause walks by, absorbed in a book, occasionally glancing up to navigate through the crowd.)
Haru: (approaching Clause) Hey, Clause! Ready for the summer break?
Clause: (looking up from the book) Absolutely. I've got a long list of books to read and plenty of time to relax.
(Haru nods, understanding Clause's love for literature.)
(Sumireko joins the conversation, a bit hesitant.)
Sumireko: Um, guys, I just wanted to say... it's been great getting to know all of you this semester. Mugenri High has been an adventure.
Mitsuko: (smiling) We feel the same, Sumireko. You've become an important part of our little group.
(More students gather around, forming a circle of friends.)
Kurohebi: This semester has been filled with laughter, challenges, and growth. I'm grateful for all the memories we've created together.
Sukune: (with their eccentric speech) Gyuu! This place has been filled with wondrous souls and vibrant energy. It's been a true pleasure, nyo!
(Jun joins the circle, holding an umbrella over her head.)
Jun: Rain or shine, we've weathered it all. Our bonds have only grown stronger. Let's make the most of the summer and come back even stronger next semester!
(The group shares a collective nod, feeling a mix of excitement and anticipation for what lies ahead.)
(Scene fades out with the sound of laughter and friendship echoing through the hallways of Mugenri High.)
Chapter 2: Contrasting Perspectives
(Scene: Classroom, first class of the day. The students are settling into their seats, awaiting the start of the lesson.)
(Hooaka is seen cheerfully skipping outside the classroom, humming a tune and seemingly without a care in the world.)
Hooaka: (whispering to herself) Who needs class when there's a whole world of adventures out there? Time to explore!
(Tenkai, sitting at their desk, is diligently focused, with a notebook open in front of them. They listen attentively to the teacher and carefully jot down notes.)
Tenkai: (whispering to themselves) Every opportunity to learn is valuable. I must absorb as much knowledge as I can to better understand the world around me.
(The teacher begins the lesson, and Hooaka peeks into the classroom from outside.)
Hooaka: (whispering to themselves) Ah, maybe I should go back to class. I don't want to miss out on anything important.
(Hooaka enters the classroom, trying to be inconspicuous.)
Teacher: Hooaka, you're late. Please take your seat.
Hooaka: (sheepishly) Sorry about that, sensei. I got a bit carried away. It won't happen again.
(Hooaka quickly takes a seat, joining the rest of the students. Meanwhile, Tenkai continues to diligently take notes, absorbed in their studies.)
(Scene shifts to the end of the class, with the students packing up their belongings.)
Hooaka: (to Tenkai) Hey, Tenkai! Did I miss anything important during the class?
Tenkai: (closing their notebook) Not really, just a recap of previous topics. But it's always good to be present and engaged in class, Hooaka. You never know when you might learn something new.
Hooaka: (grinning) You're right, Tenkai. I'll try to be more mindful of that. Let's make the most of our time here at Mugenri High!
(Tenkai nods, appreciating Hooaka's enthusiasm.)
(Scene fades out, leaving a sense of camaraderie and the shared goal of embracing learning.)
Chapter 3: Lunchtime Chaos
(Scene: School cafeteria, lunchtime. The students gather around tables, enjoying their meals and engaging in conversations.)
(Shion sits at a table, eyeing Tsubakura from a distance, their mischievous intentions evident. Yabusame joins them, oblivious to Shion's ulterior motives.)
Yabusame: (excitedly) Hey, Shion! How's your day going so far?
Shion: (smirking) Oh, just fine, Yabusame. Say, have you seen Tsubakura around?
Yabusame: (looking around) Hmm, I haven't seen them yet. Why do you ask?
Shion: (leaning closer) Oh, nothing. Just a little friendly interaction, you know?
(Yabusame nods, unaware of Shion's true intentions. Meanwhile, Lumen appears restless and agitated, attracting attention from their friends.)
Clause: (concerned) Lumen, what's wrong? You seem different today.
Lumen: (frustrated) I don't know! I consumed some moonlight last night by accident, and now I can't control my powers! Everything is so chaotic!
Haru: (calmingly) Don't worry, Lumen. We'll figure it out. Maybe there's a way to reverse the effects.
(Lumen's erratic behavior continues, causing small bursts of light and energy around them. The surrounding students cast worried glances.)
(Scene shifts back to Shion and Yabusame's conversation, interrupted by Shion's mischievous actions.)
Shion: (whispering) Watch this, Yabusame. I'm going to give Tsubakura a little scare.
(Yabusame watches curiously as Shion begins to approach Tsubakura's table.)
Yabusame: (whispering) Be careful, Shion. You don't want to cause any trouble.
(As Shion reaches Tsubakura's table, an unexpected event unfolds. Tsubakura senses Shion's presence and swiftly dodges their advance.)
Tsubakura: (playfully) Nice try, Shion. You'll have to be quicker than that.
(Shion's plan foiled, they retreat with a mischievous grin, accepting the playful banter.)
(Scene returns to Lumen, whose outbursts are becoming more intense, drawing attention from the cafeteria staff.)
Cafeteria Staff: (concerned) Is everything alright over there? We're here to help if you need anything.
Haru: (urgently) Lumen, we need to get you somewhere safe and find a solution to this. Let's go!
(Lumen, accompanied by Haru, makes their way out of the cafeteria, leaving their friends behind.)
(Scene fades out, leaving a mix of anticipation, worry, and curiosity in the air.)
Chapter 4: A Heartfelt Note
(Scene: Classroom, second-to-last class of the semester. The students are seated, awaiting the start of the lesson. Tenkai, sitting at their desk, is immersed in writing a note.)
(Tenkai carefully writes a heartfelt message on a piece of paper, pouring their gratitude onto the page. The students around them notice the sincere expression on Tenkai's face.)
Aoji: (curiously) Tenkai, what are you writing there?
Tenkai: (smiling) Just a little note to express my gratitude, Aoji. I want to thank everyone for making this semester so memorable.
Kuroji: (intrigued) That's sweet of you, Tenkai. It's been a great semester indeed.
(Tenkai finishes writing the note, folds it neatly, and slips it into an envelope.)
Tenkai: (softly) I've had the opportunity to learn and grow alongside all of you. The experiences we've shared have been truly invaluable.
Hooaka: (grinning) Well, I can't wait to read what you wrote, Tenkai. You always have a way with words.
(Tenkai's gaze shifts towards the front of the classroom, where the teacher prepares to begin the lesson.)
Tenkai: (reflectively) This note is just a small gesture of appreciation for our teachers, the staff, and all of you, my fellow classmates. We've come a long way together.
(Meanwhile, other students catch glimpses of Tenkai's note and eagerly anticipate its contents.)
Haru: (excited) Tenkai's notes are always heartfelt and uplifting. I'm sure this one will be no different.
(Lumen, who had returned to the classroom with Haru after their earlier incident, watches Tenkai with curiosity.)
Lumen: (whispering) I wonder what Tenkai wrote. It must be something special.
(Tenkai places the envelope in their bag, ready to deliver it at the appropriate moment.)
Tenkai: (softly) I hope this small token of gratitude brings a smile to everyone's faces. It's a reminder of the wonderful times we've had together.
(The teacher begins the lesson, drawing the students' attention away from Tenkai's note. Yet, the warmth and anticipation linger in the air, spreading a sense of unity and appreciation.)
(Scene fades out, leaving Tenkai's note waiting to be unveiled and cherished by their fellow classmates and the school staff.)
Chapter 5: Farewell and Gratitude
(Scene: Classroom, last class of the semester. The students are filled with a bittersweet mix of emotions as they listen attentively to the teacher's final lesson.)
(Tenkai's heartfelt note remains safely tucked away in their bag, awaiting its destined recipients. Meanwhile, in the teacher's lounge, Mitori and Garaiya come across the note, their curiosity piqued.)
Mitori: (noticing the envelope) Oh, what do we have here?
Garaiya: (leaning closer) It appears to be a note from Tenkai. Let's see what it says.
(Mitori carefully opens the envelope and reads Tenkai's heartfelt message. A warm smile forms on her face.)
Mitori: (grateful) This is such a thoughtful gesture. Tenkai has always been considerate of others.
Garaiya: (nodding) Indeed. They truly have a way with words. I'm grateful to have them as a student.
(Meanwhile, back in the classroom, the teacher concludes the final lesson of the semester.)
Teacher: (smiling) That wraps up our classes for this semester. I'm proud of all the hard work you've put in, and I wish you a well-deserved break.
(The students share a mixture of relief and nostalgia as the reality sinks in that the semester has come to an end.)
Hooaka: (wistful) It feels strange to think we won't be coming to class together every day for a while.
Tenkai: (softly) Change can be bittersweet, but it also opens up new opportunities and experiences.
(After the class concludes, the students bid their farewells, exchanging hugs, handshakes, and promises to stay in touch. Meanwhile, some students head off to various after-school activities and clubs.)
Haru: (excited) I can't wait to dive into my club activities during the break. It's going to be so much fun!
Lumen: (smiling) I hope you have a great time, Haru. Enjoy every moment of it.
(As the remaining students leave the classroom, Tenkai spots Mitori and Garaiya waiting outside.)
Tenkai: (approaching Mitori and Garaiya) Oh, you found the note. I'm glad it reached you.
Mitori: (grateful) Thank you, Tenkai. Your words touched our hearts. It means a lot to know that our efforts as teachers are appreciated.
Garaiya: (nodding) Your gesture reminds us why we do what we do. We're grateful to have you as our student.
(Tenkai smiles humbly, feeling a sense of fulfillment and connection.)
Tenkai: (sincerely) Thank you both for your guidance and support throughout the semester. It's been a truly enriching experience.
Mitori: (kindly) The pleasure is ours, Tenkai. We look forward to seeing you continue to grow and succeed in the future.
(The students bid their final farewells, with Tenkai feeling a sense of gratitude and accomplishment as they leave the school premises.)
(Scene fades out, leaving the lingering echoes of heartfelt farewells and the anticipation of what lies ahead for the students.)
Chapter 6: Farewell and New Beginnings
(Scene: Mugenri High, late afternoon. The clock strikes 6:00 PM, signaling the end of the day. The students gather in the courtyard, exchanging heartfelt goodbyes and well wishes.)
(Sumireko, though not a regular student, joins the gathering to bid her own farewells.)
Sumireko: (smiling) I'll miss all of you. It's been an incredible experience being part of this school. Take care, everyone!
(The students express their gratitude and wave goodbye as Sumireko makes her way through the crowd. Meanwhile, inside the teachers' lounge, the staff members gather to discuss their remaining tasks.)
Mitori: (looking at the clock) It's time to wrap things up for the day. We have some paperwork to finish before we can call it a night.
Garaiya: (nodding) Right. Let's make sure everything is in order so we can start fresh when the new semester begins.
(While the teachers delve into their remaining tasks, Para, the energetic and efficient secretary, buzzes around the office, completing their duties with enthusiasm.)
Para: (typing furiously) Just a few more tasks to complete, and we'll be ready to close up for the day. We've got this!
(The staff members exchange appreciative glances, impressed by Para's dedication and efficiency.)
Mitori: (smiling) Thank you, Para. Your hard work and positive energy always brighten up the office.
Garaiya: (chuckling) You're like the heartbeat of this school, keeping everything running smoothly.
Para: (grinning) It's all part of the job! I'm happy to contribute to the well-being of Mugenri High.
(As the evening progresses, the staff diligently finishes their remaining paperwork, ensuring that everything is organized and ready for the next semester. Finally, the time comes to close the school for the day.)
Mitori: (satisfied) Well done, everyone. We've accomplished a lot this semester. Let's enjoy our well-deserved break.
Garaiya: (stretching) Agreed. It's time to recharge and come back refreshed and ready for new challenges.
Para: (excited) I can't wait for the next semester! I have so many ideas to make it even better.
(With their tasks completed, the staff members gather their belongings and prepare to leave the school premises.)
Mitori: (reflecting) It's been a wonderful semester filled with growth, laughter, and learning. I'm grateful to be part of this community.
Garaiya: (smiling) Mugenri High truly is a special place. I'm honored to be surrounded by such talented students and dedicated colleagues.
(The staff members exchange warm smiles before bidding each other farewell. The school falls silent as everyone heads home, ready to embrace the upcoming break and the anticipation of new beginnings.)
(Scene fades out, leaving the school in a peaceful stillness, knowing that it will soon come alive once again with the energy and enthusiasm of its students and staff.)
To be continued...

[Mugenri High] Ep. 10
Chapter 1: A New Arrival
(Scene: Morning assembly in the school courtyard. Principal Mitori stands at the podium.)
Principal Mitori: Good morning, students of Mugenri High! Today, we have a special announcement. Please welcome our newest teacher, Sanra-sensei.
(Applause fills the air as Sanra steps forward.)
Sanra: Thank you for the warm welcome. I'm honored to be a part of the Mugenri High community and look forward to sharing my knowledge and guidance with all of you.
(Students exchange curious glances and excited whispers as the assembly concludes.)
Haru: Did you see the new teacher? Sanra-sensei seems quite intriguing.
Kuroji: Yeah, their presence has a certain air of mystery. I wonder what kind of subjects they'll teach.
Aoji: I heard they're highly respected in their field. We might have some fascinating lessons ahead.

Tsugumi: (smirking) Well, what can I say? Skateboarding is my thing. It's all about balance, control, and a bit of recklessness.
Iyozane: (joining the conversation) Tsugumi, you never cease to amaze me with your skills. It's like you were born with wheels on your feet!
Tsugumi: (chuckles) Thanks, Iyozane. You're too kind. But hey, you've got your own unique way of getting around, right?
Iyozane: (grinning) That's true! Flying is my specialty. Who needs a skateboard when you can soar through the sky?
Tsugumi: (playfully) I have to admit, you make quite the pair. The responsible, skateboard-riding youkai and the airheaded, flying girl. We balance each other out.
Haru: It's fascinating how different you two are, yet you get along so well. It just goes to show that opposites can attract.
Tsugumi: (nodding) Yeah, Iyozane may be a bit of a scatterbrain, but she's got a heart of gold. We make a good team.
Iyozane: (giggling) And Tsugumi may seem tough on the outside, but deep down, she's always there for her friends. It's the beauty of our friendship.
(Scene transitions to the three friends continuing their conversation as they walk together.)

Clause: (smiling) That's correct! August 24 is indeed my birthday.
Haru: (curious) Is there any significance to that date?
Clause: Well, it's quite a funny coincidence, actually. On August 24, 2006, the same day as my birthday, Pluto was officially reclassified as a dwarf planet.
Lumen: (laughs) That's quite an unusual connection. So, every year on your birthday, you share it with Pluto's "reclassification anniversary."
Clause: (chuckles) Yes, it's a fun fact that I often share. I guess you could say I have a cosmic birthday.
Haru: That's really interesting! It's like a unique bond with the universe.
Lumen: It definitely adds an intriguing twist to your birthday celebrations. Do you ever do anything special to commemorate the occasion?
Clause: Well, I try to embrace the cosmic theme and enjoy stargazing or learning more about astronomy. It's a way for me to appreciate the wonders of the universe.
(Classmates at nearby tables overhear the conversation and join in.)
Student 1: Did I hear correctly? Clause shares a birthday with Pluto's reclassification?
Student 2: That's pretty cool! Your birthday has its own space-related significance.
Clause: It's definitely a conversation starter, and I've come to appreciate the unique connection it brings. Birthdays are always an opportunity for celebration and self-reflection, after all.
(Scene continues with the classmates engaging in lively conversation about birthdays, cosmic events, and their own personal connections to the universe.)

(Class proceeds with the teacher leading the lesson, engaging students in discussions and activities.)
Haru: (whispering to Clause) Can you believe the day is almost over? It feels like time flew by.
Clause: (nodding) I know, right? It's been quite an eventful day with the school festival and all. But it's always a bittersweet feeling when the day comes to an end.
Lumen: (joining the conversation) True. The last class often serves as a bridge between the school day and the free time we'll have afterward. It's a chance to tie up loose ends and prepare for what's to come.
Teacher: Alright, everyone, let's make the most of this class. We have some important concepts to cover before we conclude for the day.
(Students attentively participate in the class, taking notes and engaging in discussions.)
Student 1: (excitedly) I can't wait for the weekend! I have plans to hang out with friends and maybe catch a movie.
Student 2: I'm looking forward to some much-needed relaxation time. It's been a busy week, and I could use a break.
Teacher: Remember, while we wrap up the day, it's essential to stay focused and make the most of our time here. Let's finish strong and set ourselves up for a great weekend ahead.
(Class continues with a mix of attentive listening, active participation, and occasional whispers among friends.)

Lumen: (joining them) Let's make the most of our weekend and recharge for the days to come. We've earned it.
(The friends exit the classroom, ready to enjoy their well-deserved weekend.)
Chapter 6: Yago's Crafty Ventures
(Scene: The school campus, after the final class of the day. The atmosphere is lively as students make their way to various activities or head home.)
Yago: (excitedly setting up a small stall) Alright, time to showcase my hand-crafted weapons! I've been working on these for weeks.
(Students begin to notice Yago's stall and gather around, curious about the unique display of weapons.)
Haru: (approaching the stall) Whoa, Yago! What's all this?
Yago: (grinning) Glad you asked! These are my hand-made weapons. Each one is crafted with care and precision. They're perfect for cosplay, decoration, or just to appreciate as works of art.
Kuroji: That's impressive! I had no idea you were so skilled in weapon crafting.
Yago: (proudly) Thank you! It's been a passion of mine for a long time. I decided to bring them here today to share my creations with everyone.
Mitsuko: (approaching the stall, examining the weapons with interest.) These designs are incredible. I love how intricate and detailed they are.
Yago: (grateful) I put a lot of time and effort into each piece. They're made with high-quality materials to ensure durability and authenticity.
Jun: How much does this one cost?
Yago: (checking the price tag) That one is priced at 700 yen. It's a steal considering the craftsmanship and unique design.
(Jun happily makes a purchase, while other students continue to browse and appreciate Yago's creations.)
Yago: (engaging with students) If anyone has questions or wants to know more about a specific weapon, feel free to ask. I'm here to share my passion and knowledge
