Okay so me and my housemates were doing a little show and tell - the theme was childhood memories. My housemate Pierce brings this action figure he calls "bug guy". He has no recollection of first receiving the toy, but it's been with him as long as he can remember.
I immediately take a pic and Google the likeness. Turns out he's some spinoff character from power rangers. Oh he's got something going on with his third eye? Interesting. Of course this sparks something in me.
Then we learn that the character has his own movie that was just released in 2023, Shin Masked Rider. We stop what we're doing and watch the movie. It's bloody and campy at moments. Has a sizable cast of characters with interesting dynamics. I think you'd all enjoy it
