I think there's part of Eclipse that wishes he'd died with the rest of the Black Arms. Being the last hope for your kind is an awful burden to bear, but he's the Ultimate Alien, he can handle it of course he can. But after he's defeated by Shadow, by the heroes, again and again and again, having no one to talk to except the dark arms who are babies, having no guidance and no hope beyond dragging Shadow down with him, I imagine being on that comet when it exploded is a tempting idea.

CLIPPY IS SO. LIZARD. TO ME. Loves warm rocks under the sun, swallows his food whole, covered in scales/spines and sheds his skin like a snake and I bet its kind of horrifying.
