I was sitting by a lakeside one sunny day, enjoying the breeze and sunlight. I took one big breath like a baby breathing air for the first time in its life, it was total relaxation.

Suddenly, I feel a tap on the shoulder. 

It’s a girl, she has short hair and pretty eyes.

“Do you have a light?” she asked.

I was surprised to find a lighter in my pocket since I don’t smoke.

“Sure,” I say as I pass the lighter to her.

She lights her cigarette and, oddly enough, I don’t smell anything at all.

We sit side by side in silence for a while.

Some time later, I sense her getting up but I don’t look over.

“We should go,” she says.

I was puzzled by her words so I turn to her direction. When I looked over, she was nowhere to be found. Not a trace left behind.

All I could think at that point was the fact that she took my imaginary lighter.

Ci sono persone che sono fredde come il mare. Piano piano ti renderai conto che è solo questione di tempo e restando dentro ti riscalderai, ti sentirai a tuo agio e non vorresti mai uscire da quelle acque che da fredde sono diventate calde. Con alcune persone è così. Bisogna solo trovare il coraggio di entrare, immergersi, e restare il più possibile.

He is a handsome boy.

To him, his looks are just a curse. A curse which often deprives him of fruits of one’s labor and also force-fed copious amounts of ego by society. 

It is him against the world. Will he survive?

This is a really quick sketch I did of Hayden Thorpe in the band Wild Beasts. 

I butchered the proportion but I wanted to show admiration for their music nonetheless.

Public transports are never boring to me. I look around, see people’s faces and imagine their stories in my head. 

Sometimes they are realistic and sometimes they are just plain quirky and interesting.

I’m excited to see all recent followers on my tumblr thanks to eatsleepdraw feature, I will be happy to share my strangers stories with you! 

And you know, if you have some fun stories to tell me, maybe I’ll turn them into illustrations, ya never know!

This is anonymous, by the way. It could be you, it could be that girl/boy sitting beside you. We are all strangers amongst strangers going about our day, living our individual lives. However ordinary or quirky our days may be.

I met this woman not too long ago. She came in for a coffee and gave me a friendly greeting.

“The weather is beautiful today.” she says,  “yes it is.” I say back.

She grabs her coffee and sits at her table. She’s talking very loud at her seat and I assumed she was on the phone via earphone.

She laughs really loud and then she laughs a little too loud.

I look at her directly and notice that she doesn’t have any earphones on or devices up at her ear.

The sudden realization sets in... she was talking to herself.

“...OH! Well, it’s better that way!” pause,

“hahaha, ya we all have these days..”

After a while, she comes back to the counter and orders another cup of coffee.

“I need another cup of coffee please, my mind is all over the place today!” she said to me.

This is Olivia.

She is a quiet girl who likes to draw hearts beside her name.

She has this highlighter that is the perfect hue of pink for her hearts. She always checks her pocket for that highlighter before she goes anywhere.

I mean, who knows when or where she would be required to write her name? She is not willing to take any chances, and she really shouldn’t. 

She draws the most beautiful heart shapes, you’d definitely agree if you ever saw it.
