Some general VA opinions I have that are in the back of my mind:

• Escaped Audios has a friendly ass voice. I've only ever heard him speaking OOC like once, but he sounds like he's nice to people. AND IK THAT SOUNDS WEIRD BUT THATS HOW MY BRAIN ARTICULATES IT.

• I frequently think about how gagged I was to realize ZSakuVA is English. I think I found him through Elias or something, and I only ever binge one character at a time so I was none the wiser until I started Noble Trials. Even the, my initial thought was "Damn, I've never heard an American hit an English accent this hard". Either way, great range. Also I like his sound design or whatever it's called a LOT, super emersive.

• The way Yuurivoice responds to some of his asks makes me giggle. Also, audios aside, I think he's done a great job branding his channel, especially aesthetically. I know he has a team and stuff, so props to them too. I could have my phone brightness set extra dim, glasses off, half asleep, and I could spot a YV video from like, a mile away.

• The Stroke Of Midnight seems like a damn sweetheart 😭 I'm not gonna lie, I rarely listen to the ends of videos, but I always listen to his. He's always thanking his editor and the script writer and idk, he just seems so sincere. Also he's mad slept on.

• CastleAudios has one of the most believable self-collabs I feel like. Obviously, she plays all of her characters in her muti-listener collage, but I think aside from the subtle changes in performance, it's her characterization of them. You can TELL when someone knows their OCs, and I feel like she does.

• Mr. Laveau has suuuuuuch excellent song choices in their audios. And honestly, my absolute favorite character designs full stop. The kind of audio you put in 1080p so you can examine the art properly.

• Not a VA, but specifically Lupin-Stole-My-Heart and ItsEsmeJones, I fuck with y'all HEAVY. They have carried some of my favorite series on their backs, MAJOR shout-out to them and anyone who writes scripts. Genuine respect.

• Can't mention writers without bringing up artists too, especially as an artist myself. Those of y'all who make these beautiful designs for VAs, and the VAs who draw their own art, MAJOR PROPS. I think especially right now, I want it to be made known that your contributions are appreciated. Thank you :]

Uhhh idk I think I'll cap it here, since if I went on about every VA I've ever watched, we'd be here forever. Generally though, to all of the VAs, ASMRtists, creators, whatever label fits you best, thanks a bunch. I caaaaaant even put into works how much joy, comfort, and true wonder your stuff has brought me, and others I'm sure. So thank you.

You are the backbone of that community, never let anyone tell you otherwise because a good portion of that channel's audience probably wouldn't have been there if you weren't making stuff for it. Remember that. You are important and don't ever let them tell you otherwise because you're keeping people going while that channel isn't posting.

hey hey you if you're a ASMR rp artist artist in general voice actor writer or anything I mentioned in the past or just overall in the category I just want you to know that you're doing amazing and I want to say thank you from the bottom of my somehow still beating heart thank you what you what you guys do is life changing and I'm pretty sure a lot of people would agree you make so many people happy and smile and laugh and cry and swoon so many times over and over again and you should be proud of that

Your stories characters and voices have changed a lot of lives and in my case and I'm sure plenty of others SAVED lives you all have motivated inspired and touched so many people's hearts and please don't understand yourself or underestimate yourself or say you don't matter because you do a lot and I just wanted to come in and say it because another voice needed to be added to the amount of praise you all are getting.

Where I would be if I didn't have you all motivating and pushing me to do the right thing and doing what I love I don't know and quite frankly I don't think I want to talk about it just know you guys pulled me out of a really really dark place but I'm glad you guys are here anyways you work so hard and get all the love and attention you all deserve and I'm just here to say again thank you so much

How Sadhil lost his arm

So Sadhil Kapoor(my SH for context of other readers) used to be a part of department, he was a rookie who was training to be an investigator and was partnered with:

Colm Greer

//Now, we all know Colm to be a betting man (he has a gambling addiction) so I figured that I could play around with via Sadhil, I am sincerely messing with canon to have fun.//

Colm, you see was a man who loved to take chances. If there was a risk, he would take it if it meant results which is probably what earned him his spot as an investigator.

Sadhil was not like that, at the time he was very straight-laced, by the rules and regulation oriented-which as you can imagine made them such GREAT partners on the field. Colm could admit that Sadhil was great at his job, they were an excellent detective with a knock for problem solving and had impeccable reasoning but they were too restricted by rules and protocol so he sought to help shake them out of it by simply continuing to take risks on missions.

Sadhil was not a fan of this and constantly questioned Colm's methods, deeming his behaviour unprofessional and furthermore counterproductive to law enforcement procedure.

This all came to a head on a particular mission.

Here's the set-up: Gang of energetics & elementals, Colm and Sadhil are there alone, Sadhil urges colm to get back-up, Colm is like "nahhhh, we'll be fine", Sadhil is like "no, we won't", Colm ignores this and storms into the action, Sadhil follows, they're actually managing, Colm is confident until he makes a mistake and lets down his guard. A sheet of metal comes flying at him and Sadhil intercepts to protect his partner, pushing him out the way but getting caught in the attack as the metal severed his arm.

The incident leads to Sadhil being more or less "suggested" to leave, Colm gets a pat on the back and they leave, never having forgiven Colm as he never truly did even apologise. The experience taught Sadhil about really understanding and examining the trust he had in D.U.M.P, making him confront the reality that everyone there placed so much expectations on him to perform above and beyond but when it came time form them to help, he had no support. This entire incident is what pushes him to become a P.I tho and he did that .

This mf ^^ (lovingly) is a relatively new Audio story/ASMR artist (first video was 5 months ago !!) that I found by chance and completely adore by now

It's a very different experience for this particular creator bc he uses a more dating sim esque format for the vids (has sound bite indicators for when/if the listener - player - speaks, which changes depending on said player !!)

and they do all their art which is so incredibly pretty (as well as the voice) alongside vibe setting music and cute characters

(i genuinely can't pick a favorite but I have watched Going on a Night Out with a Reckless Private Eye at least 10 times - I found this person two days ago 💀💀)
