My ultimate holiday feeling is going to Starbucks, ordering either a caramel frappucino or a chocolate chip frappucino and crochet the day away. Lately I have been completely into mosaic crochet and here is a picture of my gazillionth never ending project, lol. It is the Beaming Buddha pattern by Anke Wintermans (Crazy Crochet Catlady)

Marokkaanse Mozaiek, VERHALENOPROEP دعوة للقصص

Elke Kortrijkzaan bouwt mee aan de dynamische Kortrijkse identiteit. We zien deze identiteit graag als een mozaïek waarin elk steentje zijn bijdrage levert aan het kleurrijke geheel, elk levensverhaal een bijdrage levert aan het grote Kortrijkse verhaal. Al 60 jaar voeden ook mensen afkomstig uit Marokko het Kortrijkse mozaïek. Veel verhalen leven voort in boeken, andere eerder binnen families, of ze spoken voor altijd rond in één enkel hoofd. De bibliotheek wil naast de verhalen die al geschreven zijn ook deze delen die hun weg niet vonden naar de boekencollectie.

Wij willen samen op zoek gaan naar rijke mémoires en histories, beelden en geluiden en deze noteren, verzamelen en delen. Anekdotes, herinneringen van buren of vrienden of de eerste ontmoetingen met Marokkaanse werknemers of collega's ... Ken je migratieverhalen die niet vergeten mogen worden? Ken je mensen uit je omgeving, familie, vrienden of kennissen die al langer in Kortrijk wonen en die hun puzzelstuk willen leggen in de familiekronieken? Ken je werkgevers die eertijds als eersten Marokkaanse mensen in dienst namen? Of heb je zelf mooie foto's of documenten die een steentje kunnen vormen binnen het Kortrijkse mozaïek? Laat het ons weten!

Dutch Pioneering Band "Mozaiek Worship" Release Live Record

Mozaiek Worship release a new live album titled ‘Nieuw Leven’ spearheaded by Kees Kraayenoord and the worship force of Mozaiek0318, a growing church in the Netherlands. Meaning ‘new life’, the album is a lively collection of songs including Dutch versions of worship anthems by Matt Redman and Bethel. The concept for ‘Nieuw Leven’ is certainly courageous and faith filled; it comes after the encouragement of songs like Jezus Overwinnaar (CCLI Benelux #1) and Onze Schuplaats is God (CCLI Benelux #15) becoming anthems in the Dutch Church. With this new album, Mozaiek Worship successfully demonstrate their keen sense for significant themes reflecting the heart and sound of the local church in their songwriting. The latter also highlights the diversity at the core of the team led by Kees Kraayenoord who is recognized as the father of contemporary worship in the Netherlands. Mozaiek Worship believe that the local church is the hope of the world and seek to share the beauty of the love and light of God through their songs.
