Normal people talking to their therapist about their instability and moving trauma would probably mention the time they were homeless(couch surfing) for 3 months, after a roommate threatened to break their face. After the living situation had grown more and more toxic, and they had become the scapegoat for everyone in the apartment's problems
Right?
Yeah... We didn't even remember it until about 2am this morning, while we were trying desperately to figure out why we were SO triggered about some of the shit that's happened this week with securing the new apartment.
Which is so fucking frustrating! If we had remembered, if we'd been able to bring it up to our therapist, WE COULD HAVE PLANNED FOR THIS. We could have figured out a solid self soothing plan, and, we would NEVER have volunteered to be primary point of contact going forward w/the landlord.
But we did, and our sister is dealing with our dad being in crisis(which is an entirely different post because, for once, it's not his fault and everyone is just, stunned at the turn of events) so we don't feel okay letting her take point, and it'd just cause more confusion and issues for the landlord who's run ragged. He's working for a biiig real-estate company and working 2 large-ish complexes at once, and is also currently sick. We don't wanna make this harder on him. Even if this current issue is his fault.
(I'm FULLY aware these are our people pleasing tenancies in full control. At the moment there's only so much we can do about that. We need to get this done, and with how hard it was to get the paperwork and shit done it's not worth it.)
Gods. Anyone who says they want this? Y'all are fucking nuts. I'd rather be able to properly plan and work with my triggers, rather than being blindsided by them 9 times outta 10.

Stresss
I had to take one of my for real serious anti-anxiety meds today.
In a month's time, I'm moving from Arizona to California, moving in with my partner into an apartment. We're both autistic and we complement each other perfectly.
But it means my dog is going to have to live with my Mom for the next year as we'll be living in an apartment and 99% of apartments don't let dogs over 25 pounds in and he's a 70-pound dog. He is extremely well-behaved and would do fantastically, but they don't know what and can't make exceptions so I get it. I will miss him so much but my mom adores him and in the end, he may actually stay with her depending on how things work out.
But my two cats will be coming with me and the drive is 12 hours without any stops. I'm talking with my brother about trading my dog's kennel for one of his which might be slightly smaller and might fit in the back of my SUV (Bilbo, my dog, has a kennel just slightly too big to fit). It should fit the two cats and a cat box though they will likely be miserable. And will probably sing me the song of their people lol
The move will likely cost 5k as well so if you ever hear anyone respond to people complaining about where they live with 'Just MOVE' you have my permission to slap them in the face. That 5k is on the LOW end. I'm going to have to ask basically everyone around me to donate a bit of money to help make the move.
So while I am very excited and eager to live with this fantastic person who is my other half, I am extremely stressed! It's a BIG CHANGE, it's a ton of stress, and packing up a house is extremely difficult and also stressful! I'm not looking forward to the interruption of my medication that is about to happen ;;-_-. Not to mention getting a new doctor.
I also need a haircut...

I think it's incredibly important to remind folks on testosterone or folks who want to reverse patterned baldness about their options, but man, does it sometimes suck wondering how much of our insecurities about our hair stem from backwards beliefs that to strive towards beauty is not only preferable but "makes you good."
As someone with a rather masculinized body pre-medical transition, patterned baldness has always seemed neutral. Hair is incredibly important (hell, much of my own energy is spent on my hair because I like it), but the pressure to have hair, to have hair the "right way" is something that I absolutely loathe.
I'm not here to judge people who don't want patterned hair loss or baldness, I'm here to say that those traits will never make you lesser. Not only is it neutral, but it is also just as worthy and beautiful.

the way eddie lets buck in in the first scene of the finale scratches a certain itch to me. he obviously invites buck over for help, then he goes and answers the door when buck knocks, but he only opens it, he doesn't invite buck in, he opens the door and walks away. because to eddie it's not even a question that buck will follow him into this mess, into this crumbling wreckage that is his life at the moment, there is not a single doubt in eddie's mind that buck wouldn't step right inside and sit in it all with him, it's just blind faith. it's the opposite of him walking away at the end of the coming out scene when he just had to turn back around and make sure buck knew how much he was loved. because buck doubts everyone when it comes to what they feel for him, but eddie never ever doubts buck when it comes to helping him and his son.
