I Hate New York
Lately, I have often been wondering to myself: If I feel so out of place in New York City, why did I choose to reincarnate here? (Pisces moon 4th house here lol)
These inner thoughts started peaking especially after I had a conversation with a client of mine who lives in Sydney who used to live in Cali. He told me how he was outgrowing Cali and decided to move across the globe to Australia. He loves it there and mentioned that Australians value work life balance. He noticed there was less instances of work politics at his jobs compared to working in the states. People actually care about the quality of their lifestyles over there.
Being a New Yorker all my life - those things all sound like a DREAM. Every one in New York City grinds. HARD. Work life balance was never a thing for New Yorkers up until covid forced us to quarantine and wfh.
Even then - the pandemic happened years ago and many of us have been forced back into commuting to work so corporate companies can put their commercial spaces to use.
While people find New York City inspiring and love it here - I find it quite an overwhelming and draining place to live in. When I was little, I thought I wanted to live in a high rise condo on the Upper East Side, but now that I've grown up I'm realizing I actually want to live in a spacious, bright and airy house. I want my own garden where I can plant my own fruits, veggies and herbs. I desire a slow uncomplicated life.
My soul feels congested here in New York City. There's too many impurities here both literally and figuratively that are clouding up my mind, body and soul. These streets don't resonate with me and the energy of this city is at odds with mine.
So naturally as an astrologer, I knew there was a reason for all this. I looked to astrocartography for insight and alas, New York City for me is located on a mars/pluto line. The energies and experiences I go through living in NYC are scorpionic in nature which is great for my overall personal transformation and growth, but it would be in my best interest to look for another location that aligns more with my north node. Don't get me wrong, for another individual with different placements than mine, NYC might be the ideal home base. However, for me, the goal is to create more balance and grounding instead of constantly being in the state of change.

cashier: ok that'll be $20
me (visibly sweating): ah, yes, of course! a perfectly reasonable price for a grilled cheese and a small smoothie! that was exactly the price i expected you to say when i ordered a single grilled cheese and a smoothie and my vision is NOT getting blurry as we speak! i am a perfectly normal temperature and my speech patterns are natural and even because this is the countenance of an individual who expected to pay 20 american dollars for a single grilled cheese and a smoothie!
cashier: where's all that blood coming from

"For good" meaning that you had a reasonable expectation that you wouldn't be moving back in with your parents later. For example:
If you moved to college but still returned to your parents' home in between terms, that would NOT count as "for good."
If you moved out expecting it to be "for good" but later had to move back in due to extenuating circumstances (e.g. you lost your job or your housing), count the FIRST time you originally moved out "for good."
We ask your questions so you don’t have to! Submit your questions to have them posted anonymously as polls.

Welcome to a new home!
After some years on Tumblr it is time for a change.
You will find my new site for articles and photos from travels and living in Asia. The new site is a collection of posts and articles from this site, but with added content from other sites as well.
More categories, better handling of hashtags and better search options will make the new spot a better place to visit.
No login-wall and integration with more SoMe-spots are the other reasons for moving digital home.
Welcome!

Imagine the artistry that goes behind a successful hauling operation. One such aspect bringing finesse and efficiency in this field is load balancing. Hauling services in Minnesota get it right to the tee. Professionals ensure a uniform distribution of weight within the vehicle, which guarantees not only better performance but also safer transit.

getting emotional over footage of an amateur scuba diver interacting with a coelacanth. they are hunted by large deepwater predators, and here comes a large creature bearing the brightest lights it's ever seen, making strange noises, but it does not shy away. it hovers, calmly, as the diver reaches out and trails a hand down its back. im strongly against the anthropomorphizing of real life animals but the stupid emotional part of me loudly insists this is because it recognizes us, the alternating movements of its four paired limbs matching the diver's four paired limbs, & it is thinking, "hello, cousins, we missed you these 66 million years, it's so good to see you again. welcome back, welcome home."

It took a while to notice, but Batman, like other heroes, noticed that there were fewer villains? So Batman tried to find out why, but in the end it was the Joker who told him.
The Joker:" Ah, I will not be a cheat like the rest, Batman. They found a new hero and moved on, but I stayed loyal". Batman learns that most of his not-so-evil villains have left their city to join the new hero.
+ Amity Park looked at the new people and just accepted them. They always had them in their city, from day one.
Danny likes to fight them! They're fun, and ironically, they make sure people don't get hurt when he fights Ghost.
+ The Rouge, like the little Hero. He has no idea about the outside world, which the town has made sure stays that way, and people treat him normally. Just don't attack them and we don't care about your past. Get a new job or not. Live well.

You know what actually baffles me to no end? The zionist attempt to make you seem antisemitic with questions like "Do you think Jews deserve a national homeland? If not, then think hard about why Jews are the only people who don't." What is that assumption that I believe any other ethnic-religious group would "deserve" a national homeland? What world are these people living in? Like... What other ethnicity/religious group has been given land (by people whose land it wasn't even to give) to make their "national homeland"? Seriously? What other ethnostates are there and who would think that is a moral concept to begin with?
People have always migrated and mingled. Even my country, which is a small and rather homogeneous one on an international scale, consists of many different peoples living together.
Nationalists are weird.
