Now that we know that Santiago will be playing coven master, how do you think Armand will present himself and what do you think he will he say in regards to Lestat’s "death"?

Hey dear! I hope you don't mind me answering this one, too:

I think... Armand will be simply perfect for Louis. Knowledgeable, read, settled within himself... kind. Understanding.

We must not forget, canonically Armand knew a lot about Louis from Lestat telling him... I actually do not see much reason to change that here, however they might choose to do this part. (And I can totally see Armand go into the dungeons to brag, too, *coughs*)

Coven wise I think Armand will be some kind of general organizer... there is no way to hide the respect and reactions of the others completely, theater play or not, and so Armand will not be able to pretend to be just the proverbial harmless guy... and if the photos with the motorycycles are any indication then we'll get this little gang going through town. Maybe Armand will be responsible for hanging the posters... who knows^^. Something like that I think.

As per Lestat's "death"... well, he'll have time to prepare^^. I have to say I love how Antonio did it in the movie, that look he gave when he said he wouldn't "mourn his passing"... Armand here is on a mission - why should he be upset when he already knows it isn't true?! And of course he doesn't want Louis to be fearful of consequences, so he'll play it off I think. In front of Louis at least. (I would love to get a reaction on the Dubai couch though I have to say!)

EDIT: Just saw a similar ask posed to @virginiaisforvampires and I have to say, I didn't even consider the after-the-theater here^^ (sorry) , but I honestly see no reason there for them to change much... so "what she said" :) - I must say though I would love for it to click into place for the first time in Dubai on that couch... I would LOVE both Louis' and Armand's expressions then, when everything comes together.

As per Claudia... I think that will be something that the audience might learn from her diaries... you know we will see how nice Armand was... and then the jarring juxtaposition of her writing that he was in her head, telling her to kill herself. And Daniel confronting them both with that. That is what I would prefer here - and not just here, I bet there's a lot of possibilities with those diaries and Claudia's commentary with what is happening at the theater... they really opened up a lot of the story when they made those diaries "more" than they are in the books.

And... I'm not sure if modern Louis will suppress those memories - it depends on where we are in modern Dubai, I think. Again, Louis does know what Armand did at some point... and still goes with him. It really is a bit of what he did on the day/night he was resting, and what this interview is for...

And what exactly Louis asked Armand to "help" with.
