i just read your response about the records (or not) broken by motop GP max, is there a specific reason you wouldn’t translate his f1 success to moto GP? i don’t really know much of how that sport works so would it be just that you wouldn’t write him as talented as his f1/SH counterpart or maybe is it the team(? he is on that doesn’t allow him to succeed more, or you just don’t want to erase the level of importance that marc and vale have?

definitely a point to be made about marc and vale- they're basically inhuman, let's be real. and I think part of max's insane f1 abilities isn't just the talent- it's that he's (willingly or not) dedicated his entire life to it, micromanaged by jos. on his own, given the opportunity, I think max would have a little bit more personal time, do some things for him. if the conditions are too dangerous to drive, he'll go inside. (compared to SH max, who would drive through it anyways)

both versions of max are incredibly talented, but SH max builds on that talent by training like he doesn't have any, and Moto max relies a little bit more on the talent and instinct. if he trained as hard as SH max did, he'd see record breaking results, but he doesn't have the motivation for that. (unless he's in a championship fight)

I'm not saying he's got more self preservation than SH max, far from it, he's a motoGP driver lol. I just think it manifests differently. I also think he'd be closer to some of the Spanish f1 drivers, but he'd be more so besties with carlos. (they fight over max driving isle of man.)

Also, Moto max is a lil bit more of a party animal.
