aishire's side of THUTKE will be a dating sim (more so a friendship sim but dating sim gives an immediate idea of what it'll be like) and it takes place right after aishire gets a new job right after graduation, and loses all her friends bc she was so wrapped up in her studies she neglected all of them (he does feel. very bad about this. he just convinces himself he didn't need people who didn't whole heartedly support her.)

the only friend aishire DOES have is veraswamy who encourages her to go out and talk to more people and she is very reluctant to do so, she more so wants to pour all her energy into creating the next best weapon to end the war (which is still on-going at this point, its only mid way through the war)

it switches between aishire recruiting more sponsors for her product + finally making friends (the recreational heads, the achaeans (briefly), and the divine comedy crew) and aishire collecting souls to create her weapon of mass destruction (she can choose to kill people she makes friends with bezaliel as soon as she starts flirting with them briefly (they are down bad)(there's only one true ending but there's dozens where aishire ends up losing all her new friends and being alone again))

her superweapon is her toolbox btw. and she does eventually collect enough souls just from how many people are dying at the battlefield and she requests those who use her prototype to give her the souls of ppl who died to put into her toolbox

eventually, she accidentally makes a small black hole (she makes one during project martyr (the actual project) on purpose but this is purely by accident)

but she manages to control it and it becomes vaguely. human. very vaguely. it's become an entirely different creature.

What was your first ever story idea? What happened to it?

Oh man, let's get into this bb. My first story idea actually started off as Doctor Who fanfiction (the relic of which y'all can find reuploaded here if you really want to. I didn't get far bc I was a Child(tm) XD).

From there I decided to take the characters and make them into something more Original(tm) which turned into a disaster of a first attempt at a novel when I was a teenager

These days it's more of a passion project that lives on in my brain, after a long long time of developing my writing skills, but I still worldbuild for it and hope to make it an actual Thing one day.

What's your writing routine?

I actually made a tiktok about that a long time ago!

lmao no but I don't really have one? I'm a mood writer which is just writer for "I have unmedicated ADHD"

Are you a plotter, a pantser, or something in between?

Bit of a plantser. The writing process itself starts with pantsing-on-a-vague-outline, then I edit and structure an outline more firmly around the draft.

Leaning a lil more on planning rn though just because I've got such a complex web of plots and characters I have to get right in my head

Do you try to tell moral stories throughout your work, or any other life lessons? What are they?

"Fuck the system you were born into, do crimes and start a commune with your queer found family" is the long and short of it lmao.

Mostly I just want to spread a little hope through my queer superpowered idiots. Any lessons in my work are interpersonal, radical shit like "don't be a dick to people for stuff out of their control" and "hey, maybe the person who's angry all the time has a reason to be upset" and "traumatised people deserve support and love"

What do you prefer, character development or worldbuilding? Why?

Character development!! It's where basically everything I do begins, I love people and learning about people and different kinds of people and weaving them into their own little worlds ^w^

Do you have any tips for budding writers?

Research everything, write and rewrite, edit and re-edit. If you're struggling and you haven't before, try taking a break. If you've always struggled, try a different approach or three! Join writers' groups online to get support and advice! Don't be afraid to break rules but stay humble.

Who inspires you to write the most?

Two things:

"These answers that come into my mind unbidden // these stories delivered to me fully written" - I just,,,, Have Ideas. All the time and I have to write them down :D

I want to share those ideas! I get the most joy out of sharing joy. Part of it is of course my desperate and constant need for attention, but also I just,,, feel Big Feelings with my characters and I have the autistic need to share those Big Feelings all the time

They will ask all about these so-called “memes” and ask for examples of them if MC can show them (either somehow accessing her phone or drawing them). MC draws Arthur the knife cat meme and he about a s c e n d s at the hilarity of it all, points and yells THEO IS HOLDING THE KNIFE. He is correct. They will be delighted and follow along eagerly, and--god forbid--will make their own based on late 19th century struggles.

Is this where Shakespeare got the idea for “What, you egg? stabs him” and “You are a saucy boy.”? I’m too scared to ask. Don’t even get me started on “The Fool jingled miserably across the floor.” That one is just too on the nose...

I can’t even imagine what would happen to Shakespeare if MC like translated vines and memes into Ye Olde English around him. He wants to be able to join them in what they love, but he has a harder time following along and understanding the darker humor sometimes. Mostly gets confused??? Please give him the easier ones to mimic and laugh when he tries--or just include him in your jokes MC. He’s babie your honor...

But he also. Will not. Stand any kind of self-deprecation or borderline verbal self-harm. He’s usually very easygoing and calm, but for whatever reason that stuff makes him go deathly quiet and upset.

MC, after something goes horribly wrong, hugging Vincent: Oh Vince, we really in it now Vincent: giggling a little despite his worries, relaxing

MC: Theo stop simping for Vincent that’s my job

MC, when Theo leaves the room and she gets Vincent all to herself: The evil is defeated.

Theo is conflicted because on the one hand, he loves to see you smiling and having fun. On the other, you’re clowning as hard as Dazai and Arthur and he can only handle so many monkeys in his circus. Most of the time he will roll his eyes and be the straight man of this comedy, but you might find him cracking a smile--or accidentally letting a chuckle slip past his lips now and again.

But then he starts to drift closer to what Niles from The Nanny was, where he’ll quip and joke in private or when the situation is just beyond the amount of absurdity he can handle without making a snarky comment. Everyone in the house can’t fathom how Sebas and MC got so close so fast, but there are points where they’re just “Are they even speaking English anymore???” It’s 11 times funnier than normal because Sebas almost never smiles or laughs when memeing, the deadpan quality of his playing along sends MC every time

Has ABSOLUTELY said “HEY. PANINI HEAD. ARE YOU EVEN LISTENING TO ME???” jokingly when MC made a mistake in the kitchen. They laugh about it for y e a r s

theyre like loosely applicable in terms of how social organisation went but there's enough variation that it was never a guarantee

my headcanon is the chroniclers are the ppl writing down history and life as it happens, and the archivists - their caste name is 'record-keepers' - are the ones maintaining and working with that data

the hall of records also has a guard clade that rank about t4 bc they have to, and a clade of cleaners/maintenance workers who rank about t6 and dont interact with patrons. both of these are ranked higher than they would otherwise, and are pretty well off compared to castes that do similar jobs in, say, the global undercities, but they still get kind of a shit deal in comparison to everyone around them. it’s all relative.

the enforcers are like, the vast majority of them are t6 because that's all they need to be to interact with tiers 6, 7 and 8, who are most of cybertron

there will be t6 officers and then there's be higher-caste officers

probably local command structures vs regional

in rise, prowl is in a regional commander sort of position, trying to run an anti-cartels unit of sorts, and it isnt going well

ultimately they fall under the ministry of justice, which is headed by T1 mecha

tbh the main thrust of this system, as it applies to my fic, is that it has like bureaucratic bloat out the wazoo

there are a lot of castes that just fuckin exist?

they do the same job as some other caste or few but somehow they ended up in separate castes, with the different legal status and restrictions that implies, and the caste system as a whole just shrugged and moved on because fuck dealing with all that shit

there was like... the quintessons tried to take over cybertron and add it to their colonial empire three fuckin times

they failed every time but it was a close run thing that wreaked an apocalyptic level of destruction and disruption on cybertron

the ppl who finally beat the quintessons the third time were scared to shit of them coming back for a fourth go, so they did everything they could to turn cybertron into a unified state for the sake of better defense

previously it had been fragmented, kinda like europe in the middle ages? in theory the kings paid homage to the prime and took his thoughts into account but in practice they mostly got left to their own shit

i want to say there were like five large-scale social reorganization tactics that the empire used to try and make a centralised single state but i can only remember three of them rn

1) enshrinement of caste system (didn't have an 'untouchable' equivalent at the time, that came later); 2) creation of a state religion out of the bits of the previous religions that played nicely w each other, and 3) imposition of a global language of government

oh yeah and there's a thing called rank-exempt

cause sometimes the Govt acknowledges that the caste system just makes shit Kinda Annoying so if ur sufficiently useful the ppl ur useful to can apply to have ur restrictions temporarily or permanently lifted so u can be even more useful to them

but ultimately the system is just Bad For Society in a variety of ways and nobody’s been brave enough to admit it, so it stumbles on with a chokehold around the Empire’s figurative neck.

^ yeah ghoul & party have each other’s handwriting tattooed!! for party it’s one of the only tattoos they have & it’s right over their heart (im sure ive mentioned this fact before but idk if ive explicitly noted that it says ‘sunshine’) and ghoul didn’t have the space to put his right over his heart because poison’s kj symbol is there so his is on his upper arm (they ARE soooooooo 🥺 i love them)

ghoul’s tattoos are a healthy mix of sentimental ink and things he just thought were beautiful. when he met the rest of the four he didn’t have THAT many tattoos because 1. he was 14 2. he’d only been in the zones for a little under a year and a half at that point but the ones he DID have (aka his oldest tattoos) were his knuckle tattoos (‘freed’ and ‘fuck’ what can i say he was 13), the big raven on his upper shoulder and neck (he started believing in the witch very early compared to other cityborns but yeah that tattoo was both a way of symbolizing his devotion to the witch and a way of marking himself as a killjoy/shedding his past in the city in the way that he considered clearest), the fangs on his hand, two bats on his leg, the zombie bite on the other side of his neck (i could get a little more into this but BASICALLY ghoul being an ex-crow trainee + a cityborn + being the only surviving member of his first crew had a problem with feeling inhuman and a lot of survivor’s guilt and so he really. idk he connected a lot with zombies & frankenstein’s monster and ghosts & the like when he was a runner for dr. d post-his crew’s deaths. he got better about Seeing Himself as a Person especially once kobra + the other two showed up but the fascination remained) (also not tattoo-related but that’s when he chose his name. before that he’d been called ‘sandpup’ by his old crew & he never had a chance to tell them before they passed but he really loved that they used that as a name for him especially with how much he didn’t want to associate himself with the city) (ghoul had A Lot of issues but the difference there is that he worked thru them a lot earlier than the rest of the four) and “I FORGIVE U” on the back of his neck (in remembrance of said former crew).

umm along with that kind of fascination with the undead/feeling that kind of connection are the frankenstein stitches on his wrists (tho thats more of a common hc) and he has this pretty big tattoo of abstracted bones following his vertebrae down his throat and chest that he’s gotten expanded/fixed/touched up over the years. ik i do a lot of b&w doodles but i feel like i’ve been kind of inconsistent about coloring (most of his tattoos are color). pretty sure ive mostly drawn them in green (???) but in my head they’re like a faded light blue using natural skin tone as highlights.

his more sentimental tattoos…let me see if i can outline them here. this might not be exhaustive but i will do my best to list what ive figured out at least thus far:

the two little bats on his right thigh are for his grandmother and little sister. his sister (juliet adele fujikawa, b. april 2009 d. december 2014) was killed in a car crash shortly before he left the city, and likewise, his grandmother (charlotte fujikawa [藤川 千尋] b. june 1936 d. december 2014) was “moved to retirement housing” at about the same time. that was pretty much the last straw & ghoul left battery city within the week

there’s his crewmates’ symbols on his chest (in order from his right to left: kobra, jet, party) (gotten when their crew had been together for a while. dating this one is based on a couple things: 1. ghoul had been with them for long enough that he felt secure 2. poison and ghoul were friends by this point, or else he wouldn’t have included their symbol and 3. poison’s is over his heart so you can read into that as you will)

text from the graffiti bible on his right calf, as protection for his crew & as a reminder of one of his former friends who was a droid that believed very strongly in destroya’s return

his raygun on his chest (he was pretty proud of the design! this was when he was ~15 or 16) that he had poison’s added to post-sing post-engagement pre-commitment ceremony (so. september 2023) (yes i have my handwritten timeline + my own drawings + my fics out in front of me rn cross-referencing sldkdksksbx!)

one of the girl’s childhood drawings (one she drew of him & her & the stuffed animal he made for her when she was a baby all having a tea party together) from when she’s about 5 or so on his right hip (december 2022 or so)

shooting stars on his upper right shoulder, partially because they’re pretty and blend well with his other tattoos and partially because they’re a reminder of a lot of things, including but not limited to his first night out in the zones seeing the stars for the first time, stories his grandma used to tell him, and right when he’d first joined the fab four and him & kobra sat on the roof during a meteor shower

besides the other one i already mentioned ^ he has more of poison’s handwriting on his left inner forearm — this is also one ive mentioned before but once they’ve been in a relationship for a while they get into the habit of leaving little love notes around for each other! there’s nothing particularly special specifically about the one he got tattooed, besides the fact that it reminded him of poison and they love each other. the text in full (which i don’t think ive ever put anywhere, though im pretty sure ive put fragments of it in fics and art) is as follows:

he also has the anniversaries of when they started dating and their commitment ceremony (03•03•21 and 10•26•23 respectively) on the inside of his right wrist ^ !

he’s got a snake wrapping around his left leg that kobra picked out and a hand of cards with the ace of spades face up that jet picked out (and these ofc are because they remind him of his crewmates!!)

he has the phoenix witch tattooed on his ribs, left side, styled vaguely after catholic saints (since that imagery can still be found in the inner zones & especially where ‘joys who still practice that religion gather!)

there’s a version of the eye from the mailbox on his right shoulder, and this one is also a sort of symbol of protection/good luck, to show devotion to the witch and to help protect himself and his crew

the constellation libra on his left forearm! this one was done a little while after he started running transmissions and supplies for dr. d! he liked the connection that astrology — whether he believed in the practice or not is up for debate — gave people to the stars, and the feeling that he had a place in the universe, predestined or not

after charlie is born, he gets a portrait of her (~age 4) with her name and birthday underneath done on his left thigh! (~2036)

and on his lower back, he has a fairly simple tattoo of two crows on a wire with their beaks pressed together (aughhhhhh romance) that he gets done as an anniversary surprise for their 10-year (so. 2033)!

his non-sentimental tattoos are largely based off of images from books, either from dr. d’s collection when he was working as a runner for him or from cherri’s after he joined up with the fab four, or else they’re naturally occurring in the zones!! this includes but is not limited to: california golden poppies on the back of his left shoulder, strawberries around his left bicep (he doesn’t ever have a strawberry until he’s like 35, this one is absolutely based off of a particularly pretty illustration), a thundercloud with lightning on his left elbow, a moon on his right inner bicep, a ring of thorns around his right forearm right under the elbow, a dagger on his inner left calf, and a sun, small bat, cross, rose, ribbon (with the word ‘faith’ in script), and wing on his right forearm and hand, all picked from flash sheets

so yeah! that’s about everything i have to say about ghoul’s tattoos atm but ty ty ty sm for letting me ramble abt them i think about his tattoos so much 😔❤️

Anyway, I'd like to request for Xiao, Albedo, Zhongli, Kaeya and Diluc (if the number is too much you can cut off whoever from the list) with Traveller! s/o that like has no memory of their past but have clues through these... "Visions/Dreams".

It started out a little simple; every once in a while, Y/N would see these little figures floating around their environment. Shadowy wisps, sometimes ghosts talking to them. But in real life, people can't see them and only sees them talking by themselves (and some are a little weirded out). But then one day, while they were out adventuring in the ruins slimes or seelies... Whatever small cute creatures can exist in Teyvat suddenly gathered in Stormterror's lair and they grew curious cuz they heard... Music? Playing? It was echo-y and creepy but then they heard a very familiar tune that they KNOW is linked to their past so they followed and went into the vicinity

The moment they stepped inside and pinpointed where the music is coming from they bolted up the stairs (if there are any, which probs not but in reader's case there is) and suddenly the stairs lead them to a hallway from a tower/palace, and walking further, there were two huge doors that lead to a ballroom with more than dozens of ghosts waltzing and singing with the music

(No they did not question why would stormterror's lair have a hallway or how it even has a ballroom inside, nor why creatures would gather in said lair. Questions that break away from dreams are nonexistent)

So obviously they were happy at the wondrous sight and began waltzing along with everyone from strangers to... Unrecognizable but familiar faces? Until They danced with this boy their age. The more they looked the more they were enamored and the world around them was but a hazy dream (as vague and hazy the environment in their head can get) but the boy became more and more vivid and so did the music until they practically sang together. But then as the music stopped and s/o turned their back for a second; the boy sang: "And a song someone sings..." And wisps suddenly flew out of him and towards Reader, making them fall unconscious into their arms as the Prince of the Abyss sang in their ear. "Once upon a december..." Before Aether disappeared and he was but a dream.

And then all of a sudden Reader was yanked away from their dream; almost literally. They turned to see their lover holding onto their arm with concern all over their face and explained to them they were so close to the edge dancing away they could've fallen off of the third floor (which was already high!).

And that's when things get a turn to the worse.

Every dream gets worse than the last; anything that involved the abyss, or seeing these star pendants like what Paimon has on her hair or Kaeya's little decor on his clothes or involving Khaenriah or whatever Albedo's research is rn lure them into a dream vivid than the last and it gets even harder and harder to break them off their dreams. One night of going to bed they suddenly had a dream of their old family/friends swimming in the ocean and telling them to join them, and they wouldve if their lover didnt sweep them off their feet and broke away from another dream they didnt realize was 𝑒𝑣𝑒𝑛 a dream. And the realization that if they jumped off, their bones wouldve broken cuz a bunch of boulders and rocks on a steep cliff would make a nice floor for landing right?

But still, Aether and the abyss (which in their dreams were ghosts and just... this blond guy you knew but never realized it was your brother and the abyss) are recurring themes. Coming across any of the factors instantly puts them in a dream and reader cant tell whats reality and what isnt. Everything is too vivid they didnt see a bubble coming their way or an attack coming towards them and they were about to be thrown off. It got to the point Reader was getting claustrophic from the rooms suddenly shrinking as they were cornered by these ghosts that turned frightening and whenever they fight back they end up nearly murdering someone of mindlessly attempting to destroy one of The Seven statues.

It lead Reader to be.. Kinda suicidal. Not just because they hate themselves and their situation its cuz its the 𝑜𝑛𝑙𝑦 𝑤𝑎𝑦 they knew how to escape the dream and wake up in a bed in their lovers arms. And because reader cant distinguish reality from dreams sometimes even if their lover is present they see these ghosts and think 'this must be a dream I have to wake up from!' cuz in the long run theyve learned fighting back meant hurting someone so they.. Redirected the pain to themselves so theyre very confused to see their lover throw their dagger across the room and they end up breaking down no matter where they are (or in worse cases in the middle of battle). Reader grew dependant on them and panic attacks after these dreams became more frequent until they cant even trust their surroundings whether its a dream or not.

As a Romanov history enthusiast this request was both very interesting and very difficult. Mostly because I found myself veering off into “lore dumping” for lack of a better term. Still I hope the general feeling of your request was captured well.

I spread various aspects of your request around as best I could, depending on character, outline, fic structure, etc. The only thing I didn’t keep in was the suicidal ideation. This is for various reasons, some personal, but in a more general term I think that it can be very difficult to portray something like that in a way that isn’t excessively triggering and is worthwhile to read for a variety of people. The way one person would process through such emotions and put them to paper could be harmful to another. Overall I thought it best to steer clear from such a topic, with the knowledge that I didn’t find it necessary to the story and thought it would be an imperfect addition on my part. Not that I find never addressing such topics necessarily the right path either, only I think that in this case better not to. I hope I explained why adequately. 

I know that wanting to read and write about such topics does not directly correlate to being in such a mental state but I do hope you also take care of your own mental health. Though getting out of such crises can be difficult I want to tell you this at least. You aren’t alone in feeling this way, even if others in your direct vicinity cannot understand. And also sometimes finding a direct reason for continuing on comes later. Sometimes surviving is enough. And even if you cannot see the light at the end of the tunnel, that doesn’t mean you should take a step which you will never be able to reverse, the only step you will never be able to reverse in your existence.

I also leaned into the Romanov family dynamic, rather into that of the traveler siblings. Whether the reader is the traveler is kept vague on purpose, as I generally as a rule don’t write the siblings. I also found that in keeping them specifically canon compliant to the traveler siblings I’d have to cut back on the more historical illusions. Being a total history nerd I chose the latter option. 

Otherwise my fics varied in complete accuracy to the prompt, though I hope you find it enjoyable to read nonetheless.

Annoyingly these are all fics I'm not that proud of, but they're older so the kudos amounts make sense i guess 🙄 the next most Kudos'd is one I am proud of though - “You took EVERYTHING from me.” with 58 Kudos (2019) - Basically a little oneshot of what I thought could have happened in the 5 years everyone was dusted and how I thought they might have introduced Billy and Tommy into the MCU, it was going to create a whole 'verse but then we got confirmation on things like Kate Bishop and Cassie Lang and Spiderman Far From Home came out and I dropped the ideas. But I still like this fic.

what’s the fic you’ve written with the angstiest ending?

probably In Paris With You which I'd forgotten about until scrolling through my fics! I wrote this, orginally, way back in like... 2011 based on a poem of the same name that got stuck in my head as i studied it for my English GCSE. but it's been updated and changed like 3 times since then.

Also my fic As long as I'm here as I am, so are you is rather angsty. Basically Kurt is listening to Ben Platt's album Sing to Me Instead and one song reminds him of Finn. (because it reminded me of them)

do you write crossovers? if so what is the craziest one you’ve written?

I've never written a crossover, though I think I once toyed around with some sort of Harry Potter crossover that never made the light of day, I can't remember what it was with though... maybe Merlin?

not on AO3! But I did have someone call my OC in One More New Direction a Mary Sue on FF.net which wasn't nice, and someone else said they hated my characterisation of Mercedes in a chapter which was weird because Mercedes wasn't even in the chapter it was just my OC talking about her and her impression of her.

do you write smut? if so what kind?

I've tried, multiple times, in my 10+ years of fic writing, but i just can't do it. Maybe it's because I'm Asexual? it just always feels weird even after I've read smut as, like, revision. I feel like a lot of the characters are, like, ace by proxy because i don't know how to write characters being motivated by sex.

I honestly don't know! I've definately written mostly Klaine, but I'm such a multishipper that I have no clue. I'm really loving writing Hevans rn mostly because we are lacking Hevans content which is criminal. actually, fun fact, my fic Welcome To New York (it's been waiting for you) was originally going to be Klaine, but as i was writing the outline I fell back into the Hevans hole and decided to switch it up. I'm glad i did because it would have gotten nowhere as a Klaine fic!

what’s a WIP that you want to finish but don’t think you ever will?

If i don't think I'll finish something I don't post it. I have a graveyard of fics half drafted.

what are your writing strengths?

I honestly don't know. I like writing dialogue and I know I'm good at portraying something with a small amount of words but you'll have to ask my readers 😊 (in fact, if you've read my stuff please let me know what you think my strengths are! I'm honestly curious!)

what are your writing weaknesses?

I'm terrible at stretching a scene into something bigger if it warrents it. Like i said I'm good at portraying something with few words but sometimes I feel like that throws the pacing off. I use a lot of paragraphs because of that, to make the reader pause and reflect until the next line or to show that the character is pausing and reflecting. idk man. I also hate writing dates, which is annoying because WYNY(ibwfy) is mostly dates. I've been on one in my life and it was shit so i have no idea how to write one lol.

what are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?

I think that, unless you don't want the reader to know what is being said or the words used are obvious in context, that you should write it in english EG: --"Merci!" Kurt said.-- is fine but if you want to write something longer I would do something like --"hello my name is Kurt Hummel and I love scarfs" Kurt said in french-- or something, it depends on the context.

Actually, going back to In Paris With You. Kurt is french in that, and it's from Blaine's POV so when Kurt speaks french it's in french with Blaine translating what he can in the narration. He's not meant to be able to understand Kurt perfectly, so the audience doesn't either. But if I was writing, say, Kurt and Sebastian talking to each other in French from Kurt's POV I'd write it in english so that audience can also understand that Kurt understands.

Harry Potter. definately Harry Potter! It was how i got into fanfiction, and how i got into glee <3 JKR is a horrible person, but her books - and especially the fandom surrounding them - mean a lot to me.

I'm really liking my Love and Friendship series right now, and I love One More New Direction because it got me through - is getting me through - this crazy couple of years. so probably them? Besides the default (r*pe, inc*st, etc.) type stuff, it more... dark themes and topics I treat like BDSM, they're only for extremely trusted partners who I personally can trust with my mental health and who I know treat dark themes in a way I trust (i.e. they aren't creeps about it). So, I guess there are a lot of things that are on a reserved list and not open to general public but again, baring anything extremely graphic and horrible, nothing is completely a no? That everyone is having fun. This means stress free and consent. Consent is for everything, but just sexy times. IRL before RP is my all fam! Take care of your health first! Don't stress about how long drafts take! If its not fun put it on hold! RP should never be a chore. I took like 3-4 year break cuz I was depressed as all fuck and chronic pain. Do you and take care of yourself. Rule #1!

Chemistry. I'm so extremely open to non romantic shipping or past shipping (exes) but if someone jumps in and assumes a current romantic relationship without plotting it OOC? Yeah, no, not happening. Also many of my muses have preestablished relationships and for some of them shipping is still open or shipping has *restrictions* such as being verse specific or time period specific.

Examples: Benny is Aro as will not love your muse but she might fuck them. Bessie is basically married in the Victorian period but open before and after. Sonny and Dee are married and not looking for anyone else. Sonny NEVER dated anyone. Dee is *waves hand vaguely* the right person could've dated her pre-Sonny but its unlikely.

Plotting required but extremely open! I love making ties and connections. Especially open for myth based muses if they want to be cousins or family. The above rules apply to anything romantic, but all non romantic relationships are very open for working things out before hand.

Rules and Bios XD but seriously, the biggest thing I look for is writing style and fandoms I at least know a little about. I mostly write multi-paragraph so that's a big thing I look for before I follow. One liners are okay sometimes but I can't be sustained by them. Other than that, cool OCs, head canons, and monsters/creatures. I love hearing muns be excited about their muses and gushing about them.

Time to fix some of RWBYs Magic Bullshit

Hey! Im about halfway through the first episode of Volume 6 and Im writing this so I have something to stimulate my brain a bit while also still paying attention to RWBY. I will mostly focus on the "real magic" and whatever the fuck Silver Eyes are and only mention Semblences, Aura and Dust if I need to adjust something. Lets go!

Silver Eyes

In my opinion it would be better to just not have them in the first place, but I feel like that would require more reworking than Im willing to do right now, so yeah.

First of all, make them a little less OP. Like, they can still kill a whole bunch of small Grimm at once if you need them to (they are god-given if I understand it correctly) but the stronger and bigger Grimm should only be weakened. Maybe that Silver-Eyed hound-thing is completely immune. Another idea that might be pretty cool is Salem creating like, Grimm/Human hybrids or Grimm/Faunus hybrids that have Aura, making them immune to it as well.

I also dont like how theyre just like, a genetic thing. It unintentionally makes Ruby seem even less special than she already seems because of Oscar anyway. Instead, I think Silver Eyes should be "granted" to kind-hearted and pure souls to tie better into the whole 'Victory is in a simple soul' thing.

Raven and Qrows Bird Magic/Semblences

Literally just. Switch them around.

Make Raven and Qrow being able to turn into birds their Semblence and Portals and Bad Luck the result of magical experimentation. I literally cant believe that MK went "yeah, being able to basically bend the universe so that it makes you miserable is pretty sick but yknow what else is? Birb"

Basically, I have this idea where Raven was the first one to get her aditional powers and everything went well and now she basically has two semblences, thats nice. But then when it was Qrows turn, something went wrong... Or did it? Like, okay, theyre trying to make Oz all morally grey and all that but from what Ive seen (and read) so far, the worst he ever did was 'be incompetent' and no one (in the show atleast) even complains about that. So, if Oz had deliberatly given Qrow his bad luck for some reason, their distress would be more justified.

Now, this concept would not really work in this current version of the story. Personally, Id like him to be a bit more of third party, who distrusts Oz but still wants to actively fight Salem, unlike Raven.

Maiden Magic

Just, make them more than just basic elemental powers. Id really like it if they were more specific to each season, yknow what I mean? Like maybe they each control the weather thats associated with their season or something; Winter controls snow/hail, Fall controls the winds/rain, Spring can make the clouds go away/make it rain too, Summer can also make the clouds go away/make it hotter. Obviously more than that too, but I cant really think of anything rn, so Id be cool if you guys could share your ideas

Next, tie them closer to the relics and also get rid of the vaults alltogether. Apparently Oz created the vaults himself using magic sometime after he already granted the Maidens their powers, which is just so.... Ugh, it breaks a lot of things, I feel.

I propose making it so that only real magic can actually activate the relics and bring out their respective weird blue thing. I'll elaborate more on that after I assign each Maiden a new Relic, because while I dont know which Maiden goes with which Relic off the top of my head, I do know that it doesnt make sense.

Spring - Creation, because thats when everything blooms and shit

Fall - Destruction, because thats when everything starts to look barren and dead

Winter - Knowledge, because the relic lets you ask anything about the past and something something, frozen in time

Summer - Choice, mostly by process of elimination because I dont exactly know what the relic even does in this case. Ive heard somewhere that it lets you see the future, so Im assuming its kinda meant to parallel Knowledge, like how Creation parallels destruction even though Jinn did tell them about the future when she said Salem cant be defeated

Now that thats out of the way, I'll explain what I mean by "only real magic can activate the Relics". Instead of the magical vaults that correspond to each Maiden, the Relics themselves correspond to them. So the Winter Maiden is the only one who can ask call out Jinn to ask her something, the Spring Maiden is the only one who can call out Ambrosius to create something, and so on and so forth. Theyd still be kept in vaults obviously, but instead of being magical they vaults would be really hi-tech.

And given that Oz was the one to grant the Maidens their powers and Salem and he seem to have same ones, they should also be to activate all the relics. So during that scene before The Lost Fable when Oz and Oscar are fighting for control, Oscar could touch the lamp and activate it instead of telling them Jinn's name. Once shes out, Ruby could ask her about Ozpin and the flashback carries on as it does in the show proper. And now, last but not least

Salem and Ozma's Magic

I'll admit, I didnt technically come up with this one myself, but make the vague runic glyphs Magic rather than a Semblence. Basically, just give them all the powers Weiss had that the writers forgot about. Time dilation, platforms, projectiles, all that jazz. And they should just be able to use the additional abilities that Weiss was able to use with dust, but without needing dust, yknow what I mean?

And since that means the Schnee Family Semblance cant be Glyphs, I think it should be Summoning. Winter is as good at summoning as she is in the actual show but Weiss can only summon simple structures like walls or maybe additional weapons or a shield if Myrtenaster gets knocked out of her hands during a fight or something like that. That way we can still keep her whole arc about learning summoning.

Song Stuck in my Head: Well I’m listening to music rn and “I’m Me” from Phineas and Ferb is on so I’ll say that! (I’ll revisit this one when I finish the list and update it with whatever song i’m listening to/is stuck in my head then) (ok the music has since been turned off and now I have “Status Quo” from High School Musical stuck in my head so! There ya go!) (now it is the next day, and I’ve got “when the party’s over” stuck in my head...i think these three songs are an accurate reflection of my taste in music🤣)

Last Movie: uhhhhh oh yeah, The Sorcerer’s Apprentice! It was SO GREAT because Jay Baruchel plays the main character (and the main character is super awkward), so I felt like I was watching Hiccup from the How To Train Your Dragon franchise learn magic and it was GLORIOUS. And also Nicholas Cage is great. And I liked the love interest in the movie as well!! She had a role to play in the story and felt authentic and genuine, which I appreciated!

Last Show: ok well the last show I watched by myself was Phineas and Ferb! Specifically, the episode with the Mardi Gras block party and then the one where Candace and Stacy compete in an obstacle course against Isabella and Ginger (omg wAIT ginger and Stacy are sisters and Isabella and Candace are GOING to be sisters mY HEART I—AH🥺). I hadn’t watched those episodes in forever, so they were really fun to revisit! I think the last actual show I watched was Kids Baking Championship or something, lol. (Those kids are AMAZING. So skilled!)

When i created this blog: November 2019! It was riiiight after the season 3 finale of miraculous aired and absolutely wrecked my emotions. I had some fanfic written that I’d never posted and had been thinking about making a tumblr/ao3 for awhile, and seeing the finale made me finally go, “.....you know what, yeah. The finale is aired, no more spoilers.....it’s time to make a blog.” So I did! And I posted my first fic! And I’m so happy i did :)

What Do I Post: a bunch of multi fandom stuff XD. This blog started off as 90% Miraculous, 10% other fandoms I like...but now it’s just kind of a hodgepoge of my favorite fandoms (with a focus on Phineas and Ferb, lol). I reblog a lot of posts, and then I post original stuff too! I write fanfic, nowadays for Phineas and Ferb but for Miraculous in the past (and probably in the future!), I draw art (mostly Phinabella art because I’ve been drawing them since i was 11 and it feels good to return to my roots), and OCCASIONALLY I will write an analysis post (I’ve got one in the works rn actually 👀), attempt to make a meme, or dip my toe into salt just SLIGHTLY before quickly backing away, lol. If I were to list the fandoms I post about in the order of how frequently I post about them, I’d probably say: Phineas and Ferb, Miraculous....and thennnnn everything else is pretty random and depends on the day, lol.

Why this url: it’s a music pun! When a song/section of a piece of music ends with a dominant chord resolving to a tonic chord (if you’ve read a certain fic of mine you should know allll about dominant and tonic chords👀🤣), it’s called an authentic cadence! There are different kinds of cadences, and authentic ones are my favorite. One example of this is “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.” I also use this blog to be my authentic, fandom-loving self! So I like authentic cadences, and also, I’m Cadence and using this blog to be authentic! Woo! Average amount of sleep: wellllll for the past week and a half I was sick so I was probably getting 9ish hours a night (because I would sleep in really late, lol). but NOW? In my immediate future? I suspect my average amount of sleep is going to go down because I’m really bad about staying up late even when I have to get up early😅. Hoping to be good about getting at least 7ish hours a night!

Lucky number: 18! But y’all probably already guessed that, lol.

Instruments: my voice, piano, ukulele, viola (but it’s been a HOT minute), aaaand i used to be able to play guitar but then I got a ukulele and forgot all the guitar chords. (I also dabble in songwriting! I primarily use voice and piano when writing music.)

What I’m wearing: my favorite sweatshirt (that was last night, rn I have on a tanktop), some leggings, and socks!

Dream job: I’m currently learning to be a teacher, and I LOVE teaching and working with kids so that is definitely a job I’m really excited about!!! I would also love to portray characters at Disney or something (well, maybe not at Disney because I hear they’re strict, but like....I want to be Rapunzel or Anna or something, that would be so fun). OR, I would LOVE to work in tv animation somehow, be it voice acting, writing scripts/music, and/or story boarding. basically if I could do what Dan and Swampy did for Phineas and Ferb/Milo Murphy’s Law, I would LOVE THAT. (Especially the writing music part. Getting to write music for established characters and get PAID for it would be SO COOL.!.!.!) Also I think it would be so fun to write Disney storybooks! Like, those books that are about Cinderella baking a cake or Ariel befriending a seahorse, stuff like that. Those brought me a ton of joy as a child!

Dream trip: I want to visit alllll the Disney parks someday😅. (Not right now because, ya know, Covid...but someday!)

Top 3 fictional universes I’d love to live in: 1. DANVILLE, PLS. Especially as a kid, I SO would’ve loved to hang out with Isabella and Phineas and the rest of the gang! Danville is so vibrant and unique and people are always randomly breaking into song there, that’s my kind of place! 2. Fairytopia (from the Barbie movies!) because I could be a fairy OR a mermaid OR BOTH and eat seeweed to breathe underwater even if I wasn’t a mermaid. Like, that’s the dream right there. (I’ve always loved mermaids and fairies, lol!) 3. Maybe San Fransokyo from Big Hero 6? All of the technology in that universe is really cool! And I would love to eat a noodle burger, lol .

🕳- Do you ever lose time? If so, how does it affect your life?

I always *think* i dont lose time, until i try and remember things other people are talking about me having been a part of, and having zero recollection of ever doing those things. So, maybe? I don’t really ever have a sudden amnesia moment, especially as typically my switches very are fluid and we rarely notice we’ve switched until it’s like, obvious and right there that a new person is fronting. So i wouldn’t say it impacts our lives too much!

🎤- Do you feel comfortable talking about your DID?

I feel fairly comfortable talking about it online, especially as pretty much everyone rattling around in the body is an oversharer, so we always jump on the opportunity to talk about ourselves.

However, it’s a completely different story irl. I rarely talk about it at all, maybe occasionally making a vague reference to something about it when i’m doing visibly badly because of it, but really irl im very,, closed off when it comes to actually talking about the deeper stuff of my mental health. I make a lot of deflecting jokes, referencing my anxiety, or depression or what have you when my friends inquire about my mental health, both as a way to deflect further probing into everything else, but also as a way to say that, yes i am struggling a ton right now, yes things are bad in my head at the moment, but im joking about it and talking about it would make it worse, ya know? So uh yeah, online, for sure, irl, you’ll have to pry my mental secrets from my cold dead hands :P

🎹- What do you create as a system?

I mean other than trauma, pretty much everyone has some interest in writing, main ones being Sam/Rose (Hi me writing this rn, also the most frequent hosts :P) we all really love stories, but as a consequence we’ve also got quite a lot of book ideas, movie ideas, webcomic ideas, etc etc, but atm we’re focusing on one big story we hope to turn into a book series one day :)

Also, a couple of us sing! Some in our schools choir, but mostly we like making our own songs, either madeup little songs about random things we’re thinking of, but we also think of large more uhh, ballad like songs, which can be a bit annoying when one of us is singing while the rest are trying to focus.

Speaking of music though, we all play piano, and are trying to figure out how to write piano music!

Also also, a few of us like to draw and are trying to get better! (That includes but is not limited to, traditional pencil and paper, digital art, pixel art, voxel art, 3d art, animation, just alllll the 3d art and modelling, etc etc suffice it to say we have tried a looooot of art forms and are making slow progress in all of them :P)

We also want to make custom animations and songs and stories and put em on youtube, like a couple of really cool songwriters have done (Ferry with PAFL, R.I.P with their cool but graphic and terrifying stuff, etc) but that’s a far off hope, we’re not that talented at either yet.

And finally we all are interested in coding and making games and stuff, yet another big hobby floating around and vying for our attention and work :P

So what were your Parkwood headcanons? I think you vaguely mentioned one of them being Skye and Beatrice meeting and mostly getting along but do you remember the rest? I know they’re more of a fantasy rn, cause them getting together’s pretty much impossible for several reasons. I’m not sure if Parkwood’s even a popular ship anymore seeing how there’s nearly nothing to go by in canon. I’m not a shipper myself but it’d be cool if you remember them and wanna share if you haven’t already :3

I’ll admit, I haven’t really been much of a Parkwood shipper in a while, but I still maintain that had Skye’s story been written differently, they would have had serious potential. It could still happen, but my hopes aren’t high. I’m not sure why they even gave Penny such a big crush if it wasn’t going to go anywhere. But head-canons can fix everything, anon. Thank you so much for asking. 

Even if Skye starts out not noticing Penny, I find it hard to believe she’d think Penny was “alright.” And nothing else. Like Penny is a sweetheart. She’s adorable. She’s kind and considerate and friendly. Even if you’re Skye, and you don’t notice anyone who’s not connected to Quidditch...I mean, Penny’s a fan! That counts for something. 

Still, it could be an established part of their dynamic and their story that Skye takes her for granted at first. Meanwhile, Penny sees Skye through rose colored glasses. She’s apparently distracted by “all things Parkin.” Meaning it’s more about Skye’s famous family than Skye herself. I don’t think Penny is consciously aware of this, though. Not immediately.

So that’s how it is in the start. Penny blushing and stammering around Skye, who chuckles at having such a major fan, but doesn’t pay her much mind. I could envision sequences I’ve seen before in fanart, like Skye letting Penny wear her jacket if she’s cold, deliberately flustering her for fun. 

Until...Skye shows her less-awesome side, which we all know exists. Penny may be popular, and she may be prone to gossip, but spreading false rumors wouldn’t be something that she’d be at all okay with. This could plant the seeds of doubt. Seeds that are so, so important. 

Of course, then Skye gets hit with a bludger and this doubt is driven clean from Penny’s mind. All she can think about is Skye’s injury, if she’ll be okay. She falls asleep at Skye’s bedside, brings her painkiller potions, much to Madam Pomfrey’s chagrin. Dotes on her. But Skye is paying Penny no mind, she’s obsessed with Rath right now. 

By the end of Season 1, Skye is embittered that she can’t play in the final, and Penny is forced to see Skye’s worst qualities. She would make excuses for them, but the pedestal is cracking. Bit by bit. 

Season 2. Skye’s avoiding MC, lying to them, and being dismissive. MC actually cares about Skye by this point (she taught them her family’s signature move and tried to give them a broomstick, you would too.) So they go to Penny for help and Penny realizes more and more that Skye has flaws and they are very apparent. 

She starts spending less time with Skye. Who doesn’t ask where Penny is going. But little by little, Skye notices the absence. Misses that cute blonde who would bring her potions before practice to help energize her (because Penny totally did that.) Though, being Skye, she doesn’t ask or apologize. She just gets bitter. 

She makes up with MC, and asks about Penny. MC doesn’t know the answer but Skye tells them not to go and ask her. Not too much later, MC and Skye fall out again over Rath. 

During this time, Skye is more alone than ever, and her worse qualities are on full display. Penny realizes that Skye isn’t the greatest person. But also feels sympathy for her. Tries to reach out out to her. Only to have Skye lash out at Penny for having been so distant. 

Penny breaks down and properly calls Skye out on all of her toxic decisions, before running away. The angst, my friend. The angst is strong. But Skye is left stunned. 

Penny talks to MC. Skye writes to her Dad. These two conversations help Penny and Skye come to an understanding about themselves and each other. Skye realizing that she doesn’t want to play in the final if Penny isn’t there to cheer her on. Penny realizing that Skye is acting this way because Quidditch is all she knows. 

They meet up and Skye, yes, this is true - apologizes for her actions. Penny does too. She doesn’t really need to, if we’re being honest, but she does anyway. They speak more openly. About how Skye’s life has been all about Quidditch. How Penny only ever saw her in that lens. Penny agrees to attend the Final with one condition - that Skye agrees to meet up with her in a hangout that has NOTHING to do with Quidditch. 

Hogsmeade time. They go on a date and it’s sweet and adorable and awkward. Penny gives Skye a small phial of Felix Felicis, not to actually drink because that would be illegal, but to keep with her as a “luck charm.” I also like to think there would be a forehead kiss here. 

Fueled with the power of puppy love, Skye plays in the Quidditch Final. And even if she loses, she knows that it’s not the end of the world. Even if “the” Skye Parkin loses, Penny knows it’s not the end of the world either. And them both understanding that helps them be better. Together.
