Prior notes: Was already planning before I even finished the first one. I like that you said “we need”. Need is a strong word.

Strict parents raise sneaky children. And sneaky you are.

Your relationship with Reiko blossomed more and more every week. Whenever you had the chance to go out you would lie to your dad and say you were hanging out with friends. In reality you were seeing Reiko and getting the chance to be close to him.

You two had a lot to learn about what you guys like. But it was apparent to the both of you that you liked being close. Very close.

That skin to skin contact was good, but it could be better. Those night when he would sneak into your room and sleep next to you because unbearable in the way that you two couldn’t handle your hormones. The touching became more intimate till you both decided to do something stupid.

“You alright, dad?” You questioned him with a confused expression on your face.

“Yes, yes, I’m fine.” Shao was trying his hardest to act normal.

“Alright. By the way I’m going out with my friends later tonight.”

“Are you really?!” He slammed his hands on the dining table.

You jumped a little. With the way your dad was asking you, you thought he had an attitude. You looked at him with an even more confused look before he realized he was acting too harsh and suspicious. He cleared his throat before sitting back down.

“That’s fine. Enjoy yourself.” He tried to sound unbothered but he is horrible at hiding his feelings.

You just walked away, not wanting to spark anything else in that conversation.

You’re not going out with friends. That was another instance where you lied just so you could see Reiko. Except this time Shao expects to find out the truth. He’ll send one of his soldiers to spy on you from a distance. Then he will know what you are up to.

Another secret date night with Reiko, how exciting for you lovebirds!

The moment you saw him you jumped into his arms and kissed him. He spun you around before letting you down. You held hands as you spent the night walking around Sun Do, talking and enjoying food together.

Unbeknownst to you both you were being followed by a soldier that your dad sent. He was following at a distance the whole time. He was shocked that Reiko had any other emotions other than pure hatred and fury. Looks like he has a soft spot.

There was no mistaking it, you two were a couple. That soldier saw every little glance, kiss, and touch. You guys couldn’t keep your hands off each other. Damn! You get freaky once and a second later you become an addict. Save it for when you get back to your room!

The soldier has seen enough. He scurried away to tell the general what he saw. When Shao heard what the soldier said he was flabbergasted. He suspected this news before but to hear it seemed unreal.

How could his vicious lieutenant who he had raised since he was orphaned be dating his sweet daughter who he has tried to keep boys away from for the longest time? He wanted to deny the truth but what good would that do.

You’re all grown up. You’re not a little girl anymore, you’re a woman. A woman who is choosing to date Reiko.

Not too long after you came back home. Shao wanted to talk to you but you excused yourself and said you were tired from “hanging out with your friends”. You made your way upstairs and quickly opened up the window to let Reiko in.

While you and Reiko were getting freaky in your bed, your dad took the time to think about everything.

Well, it can’t be all that bad. If there were any man that he would trust you with it would be Reiko. He never imagined Reiko would be the loving type or even be interested in dating but looks like he’s wrong. He sighed as he realized he was being a bit overprotective.

Shao started going towards your room. He really wanted to talk to you about this and let you know it’s okay to date. But he was stumped once he heard a noise. It sounded like…moaning? And there is tapping like a bed frame hitting the wall. He was really, really, REALLY hoping that wasn’t the sound of lovemaking in your room.

You had no idea that on the other side of your bedroom door that Shao was ready to knock on your door. You were too focused on look up into Reiko’s eyes. You were panting away while he held your hand as he thrusted into you. He leaned closer so he could kiss you which you happily accepted. Your bodies were heating up. Closer and closer you both got. So close to that pleasurable release…until you heard your door being kicked in.

It took Shao only one kick to knock your door off its hinges. Reiko was quick to grab his combat knife that he left on your bedside table and you were quick to cover your chest with your arms. It seems he might have to use it to defend himself.

“Reiko…” Shao gritted his teeth as he lifted up his battle axe. Oh by the elder gods he brought that with him.

“N-now general, I can explain everything-“ Reiko tried to speak but your dad interrupted him.

“Oh you sure will be explaining yourself, Reiko, right after I cut your head off.” Shao crept closer while clutching his battle axe tightly.

“Please, let me finish-“

“Not inside my daughter!”

Reiko was trying to ask him to let him finish explaining but sure, jumping to conclusions is the right things to do.

“Dad stop!” You yelled.

You used your body to protect Reiko who was horrified for once in his life. Look at the mess he is in now. If this goes even more south he might be missing one of his heads by the end of this.

There was commotion in your bedroom. Shao was trying to push you and Reiko away so he could strike him. He kept yelling at you to move your arms away. Meanwhile Reiko was begging the general to just listen. He meant no harm.

All the noise alerted your mother who came running to see the battle that was going on.

“ENOUGH!” She yelled.

There was silence. Your mother started yelling at Shao to put down his axe and tell her why your door was broken. Then she yelled at you and Reiko to put some clothes. Have some decency she barked at you both. She dragged Shao by his ear out of your room and tried her best to place the door back. It stayed up for a good five seconds before crashing down again.

“Are you okay?” You asked Reiko.

No, no he’s not. He got off of you and lied down next to you. He was in a catatonic state. Give him a few minutes he’ll bounce back…hopefully.

Things sure got awkward in the house. Your mother was pissed off with everyone. She told you she was sad that you hid the fact that you got a boyfriend. She was upset with Shao for acting so viciously. And with Reiko…she doesn’t want to think about that.

You apologized to your dad for lying and hiding the fact that you were dating his lieutenant. He apologize for being overprotective trying to kill Reiko. He let you know that it’s okay to date. He trust that Reiko will treat you well. He better treat you well.

“That’s better. Since that’s all cleared up, Reiko, would you like to stay for dinner?” Your mother asked.

“No.”

Reiko quickly got up and walked swiftly to the door. He was scared beyond comprehension. Now he understands what Shao’s victims feel like when he’s about to kill them.

He was one foot out the door before he backed up and walked towards you. He placed a kiss on your cheek before running back to the front door and walking out.

Well he had to let you know that he still loves you and that he’ll come back. He’s just not willing to stay in your home for another second.

After notes: like halfway through this fic I was messaging my friend and I messed up so bad with a sentence I questioned if whatever I wrote for this fic made sense. I wrote: Do you lying to me now I see. I hope y’all can figure out what I meant cause she thought I had a stroke. Adiós!

Reiko: Let’s play a game

It seemed like there was a celebration every night at the palace, nobles coming to trying to gain influence from the Royal family. The General and his army weren't left out in this, everyone knew of the prowess of General Shao, and his second in command, Reiko. You had watched countless attempts of women throwing themselves at his feet, trying to gain favor in anyway they could. Not that you could blame them, it still didn't stop you from feeling frustrated and heated at the display. 

Reiko sat next to you a scowl on his face as he ate his food. He could name a list of things that he would much rather being doing then this. Training, preparing, making sure the soldiers were ready, anything but being here. You excused yourself to grab a pitcher of wine to bring back to refill your cups, missing how his crystal blue eyes followed your every move. 

What you didn't expect when you reached the table was for a noble to drunkenly make advances towards you. Whispering, or shouting honeyed words to you. You played it off with a laugh and a reminder that he was drunk, he came back with promises that he was fine and not drunk in the slightest. 

"How a beautiful flower like you is here unattended is a shame, I would never - A hiccup leaving his mouth as soon as he got it out- let you out of my sight." You raised a brow at him, and his slurred words before shaking your head.

Reiko clenched his teeth hard as he watched the scene play out in front of him, his nostril flaring in a sneer . You were his and the fact that someone felt the need to be that close to you, and trying to sweet talk you was putting him on high alert. Shao watched him from the corner of his eye quietly before turning back to his food taking note of how his hand would clench around his glass before he would relax it and squeeze it again.

"I promise I can give you a night that you will remember for the rest of your life." You rolled your eyes this time, taking a deep, calming breath before speaking. Being nice and avoiding his advances wasn't cutting it.

"A tempting offer, but one I will have to decline. If you will excuse me." Giving him a charming smile your tried to side step him, you almost dropped the pitcher in your hands when you were being jerked to a halt when he grabbed your arm and pulled you back. You were about to say something else, when the sound of glass breaking caught the attention of many. 

Reiko's breaths came out sharp from his nose. He hadn't noticed the sharp slice of glass cutting into the palm of his hand. He watched you jerk out of the nobles hold and make your way to him, his eye's never leaving that of the nobles. 

"Reiko.. What happened?" You reached forward to carefully take his larger hand into the palm of yours before turning it over and inspecting the damage. Clicking your tongue you started pulling him up from his seat telling him you needed to clean his wound. 

Reiko tried to protest, moving to jerk his hand from your hold but you weren't having it, insistently pulling on his hand for him to stand up, when he finally complied you lead him out of the dinning hall and down to the closest bathroom. 

When you reached the candle lit bathroom you guided Reiko to sit on the edge of the bathtub, his stare boring holes into the wall in front of him, you took note of how his breaths were coming out in sharp bursts. When you had found all that you needed you made your way to where he was seated, tapping his leg for him to spread it to give you room to stand between them. You took his hand once more, and Reiko's eyes were transfixed on your every move. The warmth of your hands on his calming him down slightly.

"You want to tell me what that was about?" You stared removing any shards of glass that remained in his cut or on his hand carefully as you waited for his reply. Reiko rested his forearm on his thigh before slouching forward slightly; "I wasn't pleased with how that noble put his filthy hands on you. He was making a fool of himself already but as soon as he did that.." You raised a brow as you looked at him, not overlooking the pause he had to take. A cloth with disinfectant on it was now being rubbed carefully over his cut, you couldn't help the small smile that started to form on your face. Reiko took note of it too, his pale blue eyes studying your face. 

"What is that look for?" He didn't like it. You gave him a quick glance before licking your lips and reaching for a clean gauze and some wrappings. Your face adorning a puzzled expression. 

"Wait a minuet.. are you jealous? Over something like that?" Reiko gave you a scowl and you tried to stifle your laughter as you finished wrapping his hand, bringing it up to your lips to place a kiss on the palm, you carefully placed it on your hip before grabbing his other hand and doing the same, causing him to straighten up as you leaned further into him, your fingers running through the buzzcut portion of his hair felt like velvet against your finger tips.

"Reiko- your voice was sweet, at the call of his name his grasp tightened on you- Who's chambers is it that I sleep in at night? -you began to lean further into him after each question- Who's arms do I fall asleep in? And who's cock will be buried so deeply between my thighs tonight that I won't even be able to think straight?" You moved your hands down to rest on his cheeks before tilting his head back a little further, leaning down until your nose brushed against his, your lips teasing against his as you spoke. 

"You are the one that I want.. so there is no need to be jealous. There is nothing a noble, or anyone for that matter can offer that would take my affections from you." You didn't give him a chance to respond as you slotted your lips with his, Reiko pulling your tighter against him as he met your heated kiss. Pulling back you rested your forehead against his as a content sigh passed your swollen lips.

I won't lie to you - things will get awkward between the two. For a LONG time.

Reiko is an honorable man but he was saved by an Earthrealmer. His mind is reeling with indecisions of how he should act around Reader. He wants to show gratitude but his hate for Reader's kind runs deep - and what's making it harder is that Reader's a civilian. And a honorable warrior doesn't hurt those, especially when they're harmless.

So Reiko's trying to be... nice(?). But not too much. He can be quite an asshole.

He's actually not shy to flaunter around and boast how Outworld is far superior.. ((my guy... It's like..... 2am.. go the fuck to bed))

But he's not good with his words, instead of all the "thank you"s he is a man of action so it means he's helping around Reader's home as much as he can/is able to.

But kitchen is a place he should not step into. Back in Outworld, it's fine, he can coock alright, but this modern look and appliances... he's really confused by a lot of things in Reader's home generally but something that actually didn't survive its first encounter with Reiko was a toaster.

The moment the toasts flew up all of a sudden had him yelp. Literally. And he punched the electrical device into the next room.

Reader has to get a new one once they'll save enough money.

And. damn. does he actually feel kinda bad when he learns about how tight with money it is in Earthrealm.

What he struggled with the most was privacy.

Listen, he's a soldier. He's been at wars. And quite often there is no luxury such as privacy. And when you see naked bodies everywhere for a decade you began to ignore it and treat it like a normal thing (example: gynecologists), and being no royalty you literally get no privilege to have a bath to yourself.

The only one embarrassed and weirded out — understandably so — was Reader.

Reiko wouldn't even dare put his hands on an Earthrealmer but with the way he was raised, and lives, he just is used to share a bath/shower.

Was very surprised to find out someone is actually able to kick him out of a room verbally. Reader hadn't a free hand to spare to throw anything at him anyway.

Him walking around naked was another thing he had to un-learn.

Reader called him a "pervert" for literally promenading butt-naked.

But it's not like he didn't notice Reader ogling him.

"At least I'm not staring at someone's body like a piece of meat."

That comeback made Reader flushed and sputter out incoherent words to mask their embarrassment but couldn't quite find it in themself to bite back at that. Because... Yes.. Reader really drank in the sight of the sculpted warrior's body, shamelessly.

For a few days Reiko was stubborn to lay down his uniform and armor, refusing to put on anything 'casual' or to look as if he 'fits in' as Reader said.

He doesn't want to 'fit in', this is who he is and others should just leave him be.

Reader thinks it would be better if he were to attract less attention if he were to go outside. Everyone would think he's one of those people who cosplay and live 24/7 like that OR it could actually catch the eye of the FBI or whoever and they would snatch him off the street because of knowing who he is.

Reiko had to swallow his pride. Literally. And accept a slight change.

Reader bought him a red, flannel shirt and new shoes, let him keep his pants at least... And the face paint had to go too.

Reader had to FIGHT with the make-up removal products for their life. Reiko's war paint was meant to stay on. Better than any foundation Reader ever came across, would make any Drag Queen's make-up brand seethe with envy.

It was almost like peeling it away from a wall, that it made Reader feel bad when they had to scrub a little harder against his skin.

It was... quite a scare? uhm, almost unnatural to see him without the black paint on his face, especially around his eyes. If I can put it that way? The black made his pale, white eyes stood out more but now it did made him look less... intimidating.

But this was also a win for Reader not to deal with black smudges on their pillows, lol.

When it was time for Reader to go to work Reiko wanted to come with. "Make sure you won't call the authorities on him" or whatever to which Reader is just like; "Noooo...? No you're not." "The Hells you mean, no? I'm not leaving your side."

He's neither a kid or an ill pet to sneak him into Reader's job. But Reiko can't quite grasp the concept of why would that be impossible to come- it's not a war for him not to be allowed there!

In the end, Reiko is left in the public spaces outside Reader's job and they come to check on him at lunch breaks, also getting him some food and drink too.

Reader was nice enough to get Reiko something to read while he'd be by himself for 8 hours, to which he refused to read anything at first, but then gave in after an hour and a half when looking at the same crack in the pavement became boresome.

And it eventually became a routine that Reiko got used to... not that he liked it.

When no one was around he did a quick work-out to still be in shape. Though Reader had to stop him from using a tree as a punching bag. A public tree = therefor should not be vandalized or they'd have to pay a fee.

When Reader's colleague/s wanted to join them on their lunch breaks and actually want to get to know him is when he felt at unease, like, never before in his life had he felt that way until now.

He felt like an imposter, trying to act like he's from their realm while not knowing realms exist... Reader always came in to save him though, never left him at an uncomfortable spot for too long when detecting something is not right.

Reader literally had to learn Reiko's body language. Just because they wanted to.

He didn't notice it but he gave himself away quite a few times. But they didn't have the heart to tell him that, wouldn't want to ruin his confidence of being the best soldier there is.

Reiko would begin to clam in and then his body would sort of lean away from the group. He may not realize it, at all, so perhaps don't point it out.

In his mind, he needs to be a perfect soldier, or he's nothing short of useless.

.... Reader does certainly dislike the one who made him feel that way.

I have a request/idea for a thing:

What if the Reader has a mutual pining situation going on with one of the meaner MK kharacters (I’d say Bi-Han, Shang Tsung, Reiko, or Quan Chi would be good for this—whoever you want, honestly!) but neither person has the guts to say anything, until FINALLY the MK kharacter just can’t handle it anymore and practically breaks down the Reader’s door in order to confess. Then sex happens.

There have only been two instances where a woman has left the Umgadi. Those ladies would be Li Mei and you. Of course, you left not out of shame or to avoid punishment. You left because you didn’t want to protect the royal house. You wanted to protect all of Outworld. That’s why you joined General Shao’s army. He was more than happy to accept you in, seeing that you had the skills of a warrior. He also found your desire to protect all of Outworld commendable.

You quickly rose in rankings and earned yourself recognition. A female in the army who is beating upcoming soldiers? How could the people of Outworld not talk about you! And they talk and talk and spew many thoughts about you possibly overpowering a certain lieutenant who constantly wears war paint. You know damn well who they are talking about and he has heard.

All that talk led the lieutenant to you, huffing and puffing like a mad bull. Reiko knew you joined the army but he never expected you to rise in rankings so quickly. The idea of anyone being better than him doesn’t work in his mind. Which is why you two had to spar.

“What?” You questioned the general.

“Reiko has requested to fight you since you have been surpassing everyone else.”

 Speak of the devil here comes the bastard. You could see he was mean mugging you even from a distance. The closer he got the more you saw the fury that swirled in his eyes. Your eyes shifted between General Shao and Reiko. Each glance at Shao sent a message that said “Are you fucking with me?” because what made him think springing this on you was smart.

Once Reiko was next to you, he started sizing you up. Have you ever seen a snake examining its food before eating it? It’s just like that except Reiko won’t bite your head off, hopefully. Shao luckily pushed Reiko away from you since that display of aggression was embarrassing. He commanded you to get ready to spar. The other soldiers shall be watching and learning.

“I knew you joined our numbers, but I never would have imagined that you were capable of being a true warrior.” He taunted you.

“I’m full of surprises. You seem to be the same way since I’m surprised you want to fight me so badly.”

“Why? Are you afraid to lose to me?”

“Not really, I’m just worried you have a few loose screws.”

Alright enough chit-chat about how he is fuckin unstable. Put your fist up and show him a good fight. A good fight is like good sex to him.

He walked away without saying a word. You were left stunned with your hand still out. With the way Reiko was stomping away, you could tell he was all huffy. Well shit, the one guy you admire and have the hots for probably hates you now. Fuck!

Ah, but you got it all wrong. You turned that man on so much that he had to walk away from you. I told you a good fight is like good sex to that man.
