Cosmic Fury was better than it had any right to be.

It was honestly Power Rangers In Space if it really got a budget infusion. While I personally feel the Kyuranger suits would've made for a memorable team to go out on, I appreciate them trying their hand at a PR exclusive suit for a whole team.

While the story was crammed in places, it largely works as a direct follow up to Dino Fury. I feel the first episode was a bit cluttered with Dewdrip being a tad shoehorned for Ollie's re-evilization. I feel like Zedd's staff could've triggered the traces of Sizzurai's poison. Like a sleeping agent.

I even think having all the Cosmic Zords at their disposal without the usual "unlocking" episode beats worked for the already battle test Dino Fury team. Them being able to remote pilot them did navigate keeping the character focus on who we've been following so far.

I do wish we got scenes of Power Rangers still active on Earth trying to fight Zedd's invasion for a true sense of scale. Even if their morphed, they could use archive audio from past seasons. Maybe even recycle footage with attacks.

Maybe show a cutaway of Zack's Hip-Hop-kido legit throwing Zentinels for a loop.

Heck, with the Megazord cavarly, I feel there's an extended cut out there with interior shots from past seasons that would've shown the past Rangers giving the current generation a hand. I feel like this was made with a potential TV airing in mind.

As for "The End," it was honestly far better than it needed to be.

Having the Rangers convince Zedd to give up his power so the Zedd Wave wouldn't kill him or all good in the universe was a very clever mental battle. One that had Ollie utilize what his former master tried to teach him even.

Lastly was containing the still all powerful Zedd in a nightmare prison on Nibiru was a good utilization of a past adventure and, again, a very smart way to avoid a fight given how everything took it out of the team. It was subversive from the big all out battle most were expecting but one I feel was earned and well thought out.

I also feel like Once & Always is bested viewed after Cosmic Fury since Aiyon mentioning what could've been Zordon in Zayto's form is what likely led Billy to attempt to bring him back. Additionally, it makes for, what appears to be at the time, a good franchise finale with how it shows the team that started it all.

All in all, it was morphenomenal. While Power Rangers seems to be entering a wilderness era not unlike Doctor Who during the 1990s, I am optimistic that we won't have seen the last of the show just yet.

Seriously, LuPat would be a great spin-off of SPD. Maybe take a bit of Once & Always' energy of maturity mixed with the camp to even comment on the police and law.

i know this isnt the most profound, expertly edited thing ever, but i wanted to make something for power rangers' thirtieth anniversary, because this show means so much to me, so, i tried to make something emotional for it, showcasing all of the endings or at the very least heartfelt moments from each season, followed by quick flashes of every team morphing (so yes, flashing lights warning)

(elephant in the room: there's no turbo or ninja steel representation in terms of the endings i included, in the former's case, it ended on a cliffhanger that led right into in space, so i just included part of in space's ending instead, and for the latter, i couldn't find a clip of ninja steel's ending that wasn't just the entire final episode

hyperforce wasn't included because i genuinely forgot but know that i do respect it as a part of power rangers' history, and the 2017 movie wasn't included because i was pretty much only thinking of the shows while making this, so it hadn't crossed my mind to include it, but i *do* like the movie)

here's to thirty more morphenomenal years :)

yes, yes, very much yes. I adore recycling my own writing! my wips that contain recycled elements:

rain story guild story mercenary story thief story magick story summon story apocalypse story probably other ones, but I have a lot of wips

the wip that has gone through the most changes?

youth story was original supposed to be an interactive story, with a different setting and not all the same characters. then I changed the setting. then I changed the characters. then I changed the setting again. then I changed the name.

anxiety story was pretty much as it is now, but I did consider setting it in space for a hot minute. wrote a basic outline for it and everything. then I ditched the idea and it's back to the original concept.

mercenary story has a new plot and mostly the same characters from how it was when I first thought of and started working on it. it has different vibes now, too.

summon story was originally dark academia. now it's a chaotic, character-focused stumble-into-the-plot fantasy story.

I don't know which one has changed the most. I'm always changing my wips around, looking for the actual story I want to tell for each one.

Tommy is fighting his past memories so he goes into a internal journey to find peace of mind again. An old villain returns and Tommy will need to face his old fears in order to defeat this evil and save earth once more...

This is a story I always want to see but unfortunately the tv producers never focus on a more mature and deep emotional background...so I try my best to get it done...
