I don't see their lame flags like this one anymore. I see them fly the American flag instead or thin blue line. Not all those people are necessarily bad but some are, unless they changed their minds about being racist, just trying to signal their buddies a different way. Like the one residence in Ogden I photographed with a confederate flag AND an 88 flag. The jerk later replaced the 88 flag with a Utah flag. Funny thing is Brigham Young as was racist af but Joseph Smith wasn't. And I see all these BYU flags in my neighborhood and one U of U sticker on a mailbox. It seems the rivalry is almost symbolic for many people. I am a U of U fan in that sense. Plus the anarchists and LGBTQ anarchists seem to hate me and photos of aryans etc and anarchists have been somehow deleted without me knowing, from my social media and not just here, my Flickr. 🎙️I've made a lot of mistakes in my life. Every time I try to tell myself, forget it, let it go, things will get easier. ▪️ But, it's as if part of me was taken every time. Having PTSD is no easy thing to deal with. ▪️ Coming clean about who you are, is hard, especially with a Mental Health condition. No one ever told me this process would be easy. Over the last 7 months though, I have also dealt with a head injury that had truly been the hardest thing I have dealt with yet. ▪️ I keep telling myself, there's a lesson, forget the mistake, things will be okay. ▪️ It's hard to see that with PTSD, that's the dark side no one wants to talk about. Myself though, I could care less. The way I look at it, I am being real and authentic, which is the best. ▪️ That's why I embrace the gift God gave me. I'm hyper-alert, I can tell when someone show's the characteristics of an abused individual as well. Because, that's where my PTSD comes from, the dark abuse I fought my way out of as a child, put myself through High School, College, and Graduate School and don't realize the feat that is. ▪️ What I never realized was the lesson in all of this. I made it through things most people don't, if I scroll my sister's Instagram, it's totally different.
