#morien is so spoiled

Well how can I say no to this??
Idk I y’all notice but Morien and I have the same love language: gifts. So this whole cane thing is actually really fun.
This IS an Arthurian IF so of course there has to be a dragon cane! I can actually see the MC gifting this to Morien (Kal let me give this to them I wanna spoil them so bad).
This is a flask cane. Yes you read that right, a flask cane. I know Morien has a little bit of a problem with alcohol but… listen I saw it and thought “perfect for my baby” you CANNOT tell me they already don’t have a cane like this. With time they can change it to poison instead of alcohol, ✨character growth✨
What time is it? Is appreciation Morien time ❤️ with this cane they can be petty in meetings and do the 🕰👀🤨🙄 face when someone is taking forever.
I- LISTEN I NEVER SAID I WAS A GOOD INFLUENCE. Morien deserves a smoke break from time to time ok 😭🖐 but wait… how are they gonna light up the cigarette??
Boom, lighter cane. Perfect for smoking (or arson, but that ain’t my business what Morien does with the cane 👀)
“Wait, what are those two idiot soldiers doing over there? Ugh I have to walk all the way over there to see if I have to beat their asses” WORRY NOT MY LOVE, WITH THIS CANE YOU DONT HAVE TO MOVE. Can watch all the tea from a distance 💅 (and have a closer look at certain people that are training, wink wink).
This has to be the coolest cane ever. ITS A VIOLIN CANE! This thing costs almost 20K $ by the way. Still so cool. Imagine Morien pulling up to a fancy ball with this. Also a good torture method 👀
TIME FOR THE CANES!
You are spoiling the grumpy physician, I see... I love the most decorative ones, Morien would use them to parade in the nobles' and soldiers' faces. (You know, because it makes them cool and weird and terrifying). The first one in particular is so in character!
And the clock cane is insanely useful for Morien to pull their grumpy face when someone is wasting their precious time!
The flask cane is something Morien already has (jokes on anyone who thought the contrary), but they hide it and use it rarely because they know Yniol will find a way to take it away from them.
STOP GIVING MORIEN VICES OMG COVA-
Lighter cane would probably be used for arson, so when the property or bed or room of a certain person goes in flames you will be the one to blame...
And the violin cane (which is so cool btw!) Would likewise be used for specific purpose of annoying someone to death because Morien is such a petty bitch.
Lastly, the spyglass cane. Morien would be so happy to have that. It lets them see everything without moving too much, it lets them supervise the recruits like a scarecrow to see they don't stupidly injure themselves and, certainly, it can be used to ogle a certain someone while in training... maybe half dresses... making use of those powerful muscles...👀

in what ways would morien enjoy being spoiled and taken care of in? Like what all can MC do that won't cross their boundaries, or be something they aren't really a fan of and stuff?
I mentioned Morien letting MC wash their hair, and I think more in general Morien would be much more open to being cared for when drunk (and keep in mind they can't control themselves, so when they drink it's binge drinking until they can barely talk/walk).
When sober, Morien would appreciate gestures that make their life easier. Maybe warming up their bed before they go to sleep, leaving a warm bath prepared for them. Handing them things they need without them having to get up. Bringing them food when they are in the mood of not taking care of themselves.
Oh, a massage would be very appreciated. Also cuddling, when Morien is in the mood, they kinda enjoy a lot just laying with their lover, even in silence, letting them play with Morien's hair.

Arthur gives the fun dad who hosted the event, and is trying to keep everyone in order and even when he pisses someone off accidentally they cant yell at him because hes him Yniol gives older sister that is basically like a 2nd parent and she is the ones actually keeping everyone in order Gwyar is your cousin that shows up 15% of the time but when they do they are the best person there Morien gives your uncle thats been divorced 3 times but is somehow still 20 and insists on odd conspiracy theories at family gatherings Evaine gives the wine aunt who hates half of her family and then dotes upon her neices and nephews Mordred is the one cousin who hides in his room the whole time but is really emotionally attached to one of his other cousins (based on my own family reunions)
This is so insanely accurate! Not Evaine being the wine aunt who gives an attitude to the family member she hates and then spoils the favourite children💅 and Morien divorced 3 times🤣
#also yniol older sister who keeps everyone in check... yes!#at this point arthur's there for the eye candy and good vibes#also we stan gwyar coolest cousin#this ask made me crack up

Hey I recently played the demo and enjoyed it a lot. I especially liked how close the ro's seem to be and how adorable mordred is.(If given the option i would spoil him as much as possible) Also i already adore the entire cast.
I wanted to ask the ro's and mordred's reaction to an mc that is normally reserved that notices they are upset(because of a mistake or cause they feel insecure about something) and proceeds to give them a headpat with a gentle smile on their face whilst telling them that they are perfect and deserve the world before getting called over by someone else.
Hi❤ I am so happy you liked the ROs dynamics with eachother, I know they're not for everyone but I enjoy writing them so much.
You'll totally be able to spoil Mordred in the future. In fact, the boy is already accustomed to Arthur basically bending backwards for him but he gladly takes all the pampering he can get ;)
Arthur: it's more or less what he usually says to someone in a difficult situation, however hearing it directed to him hits in a different way. Arthur can only stare after their Consort, a bit emotional.
MC patter their head. And they said things Arthur may have longed to hear for a long time. Maybe not my them, but the warm feeling they are getting now is much more pleasant.
Evaine: they nearly cry, having to hold back the emotions that are that close to spill over. They are usually quite emotional when upset, MC's words just touched a delicate place.
There was a time when they would have given an arm to hear those words. And now here MC is, saying that. As they turn around, breathing with more difficulty than before, Evaine hopes MC won't tire of them, because they need to hear that again.
Yniol: Yniol stands there as warmth slowly replaces the tight pressure inside them that has build up all day. They are usually able to destress by themselves, but today Yniol was feeling particularly tense - maybe even on edge.
Yniol takes what MC just said and cradles it in their chest, letting themself be warmed by those words. They don't doubt MC means them, and it comforts them even more.
Morien: they mask how choked up they are with a cough. The headpat was so unexpected and almost made them freeze - though they find they don't mind it at all.
They resume their tasks but the bit of solace MC brought stays with them, alleviating the weight they had burdening their shoulders. Oftentimes, Morien brings themself down so that once other do blame them, it won't hurt as much.
And though they struggle to aknowledge what MC said as truth, they still feel way better afterwards.
Gwyar: the headpat stuns them - the smile makes them melt a second later. Then MC comforts them in the way no one has ever done.
Gwyar is no stranger to praises. This however, feels so very different. Because Gwyar may not be stranger to praises, but reassurances are another matter. They always had to be the older sibling, the one to assure everyone around them that everything would be alright and to make it happen.
Gwyar will be slightly out of it, in a mostly positive way, for the rest of the day.
Mordred: he blinks, stunned, and looks as MC is taken away. He is left a bit flustered by the headpat as he replays those words in his mind.
Most of the discomfort and frustration leaves him, replaced by much needed comfort. He sniffles, clutching the book he is carrying to his chest.
Mordred will later that evening find MC and be a little more clingy than usual, maybe offering them a flower and wanting to spend time with them.

Speaking of fluff, how would each of the ro’s react to the mc pampering or spoiling them?
Arthur: His first time response would be like "Oh, there's no need for that, my dear." Arthur would only realize after the third or fourth time MC does that that it's not just MC wanting to be of help. After all, they themselves enjoy spoiling the people they love as a show of affection, so it would click that it's the same for MC (and Arthur would realize that MC never probably had the chance to pamper or spoil someone before). After that, Arthur would be very appreciative of every little gesture, maybe even encouraging them at times.
Evaine: ok Evaine loves being pampered, for them it's like one of the most sincere way someone could express their love to them - and viceversa (they often show affection to the ones they care about through gifts). They would thank MC every time and bask in the attention, though always making sure to give back to MC what they receive through gifts of their own and/or shows of gratitude (depending on what MC is more comfortable with).
Yniol: out of all the ROs, they're probably the most unaccustomed to being pampered and taken care of - usually it's the other way around and although they like immensly being the one to fuss over people, it's easy to forget that they can be taken care of too. A MC set on spoiling them would probably be the death of Yniol, they would be reduced to a blushing mess, always thanking them and making sure it's not too much trouble.
Morien: at first, Morien would be like "you don't have to take care of me, MC. Believe it or not, I'm capable of doing it on my own." Despite that, every time MC does something for them or brings them something they needed, Morien would actually be very grateful and sincerely thank MC. Maybe they don't need all this pampering, but it's mainly because they are accustomed to look after themselves on their own. Sweet and helpful gestures are a direct way to their heart, though.
Gwyar: Gwyar would be totally disoriented at first, stealing subtle looks at MC to evaluate if there's something out of the ordinary they should know/worry about. They are your servant, after all, the one to spoil and fuss over you should be them. They would have a hard time accepting MC's pampering at first, always trying to deflect or get out of the way. It would take them some time to relax and get their guard down enough to be completely relaxed and extremely moved by MC's gestures. They would be so grateful and amazed.

I feel like we don't get enough of lovely Morien, could you write anything about them? Angst, fluff, or ahem *nsfw* I'll take anything :((
Your physician is working late. You know it becaus they haven't come to bed, and that's exactly why you're going to search for them.
When you enter the infirmary, taking care not to make too much noise, Morien turns to you, likely recognizing the sound of your steps.
"I was just about to come to head out."
"Yeah?" You ask, coming closer. Still a bit drousy, you wrap your arms around them without so much as a warning. They are warm and secure and so very familiar against you.
It takes Morien only a few moments to relax completely. They melt into your arms without resistence, and that's how you know that they needed it.
"You don't get many hugs, do you?" You murmur against their shoulder.
They huff out a half-laugh. "No."
"You are in luck, then, because I have plenty here for you."
Morien lets out one of their rare, softer laughs. "Be careful or you'll spoil me."
#a deserved morien fluff#... before the storm ;)#also you're right so they'll have spicy snippets soon#morien

Morien/Arthur 👀
Imagine the hurt/comfort 🥺
The possibilities 🥰
Both able to comfort eachother but also in need of comfort... also Morien hovering threatening over Arthur when they feel like it and Arthur telling them stories and tales to keep them distracted when Morien isn't feeling so good. But also Arthur spoiling Morien by bringing them everything from food to objects so that Morien doesn't have to walk and Morien making sure Arthur is not spiraling down on dark thoughts.
The hurt, the comfort-

32 - "Are they religious?" (for all). I've been curious about that for a while, actually! And maybe 52 - "Are they a good babysitter? A bad one?" - for good measure! Thank you and have a great day!
32 - Are they religious?
Gwyar is the most religious out of them all. They follow a creed that is very spread in their birth region, and they often pray to their god. Morien is a believer as we'll but of a different religion. They pray silently in their head and they often curse in their gods' name.
On the other hand, Arthur is an atheist, Evaine is a believer although they don't act on it much and Yniol has never talked about their beliefs so no one knows.
52 - Are they a good babysitter? A bad one?
Arthur: will coddle and enjoy fun activities with the child. While being quite soft for children, he is also responsible and will gently redirect the child's attention if they want something they can't have.
Evaine: will fuss over the child like a mother hen, afraid that every single thing could harm them. They will give in to their pleas very quickly and end up spoiling them rotten.
Yniol: Yniol loves children, they have a soft spot for them and would die one hundred time for a single child. They have the patience of a saint and will want to care for the child also by encouraging learning time (in another life, they would make a great teacher).
Morien: ok listen, Morien may be sometimes abrasive but they know how to care for a child and they will surprise everyone with the amount of patience and softness that mollify them when caring for a kid. They also know well how to avoid tantrums and crying fits and are great at teaching the behavour they want to encourage.
Gwyar: well, Gwyar would make a great stay-at-home parent. They are so multitasking it's scary, they will make sure the child's need are met even before they start to ask. Also, Gwyar can be firm without being harsh. They won't bulge on their decisions but will instead make sure the child understands them. Either way, Gwyar will enjoy playing time so much.
