* yuna is 19 when she becomes a sphere hunter. she joins the gullwings and leaves her high summoner robes in favor of a new look suggested by rikku. * various yevon & bevelle secrets are unveiled as well as vegnagun. * the gullwings and the various leaders take down vegnagun and yuna helps lenne put shuyin's spirit to rest. * the various leaders give a speech, but yuna is not present. * the gullwings disband, only reuniting once months later for old time's sake for a last mission. * yuna returns to besaid.

* yuna is 22 when she decides to relocate to bevelle, specifically where her father used to live. * some time goes by before she can truly settle into the temple life and start studying what is underneath bevelle. she tries to jump into it straight away as she relocates, but she battles with great anxiety and ptsd and realizes she might need time to heal before allowing herself to touch upon the subject again. at this point, she is 23 / 24. * yuna has returned to the mannerism of her summoner days, although with evident and bold changes that still recall her sphere hunting time. [ note: wardrobe. ] * yuna's hair is long. [ note ( not to be taken as a 1:1 reference ): 30th anniversary artwork. ] * bevelle is in the most distressed of states when she returns. yuna decides to finally oblige to her high summoner position. * the farplane is unstable. * new yevon and the youth league have been disbanded, yet within bevelle especially there is still a strong attachment to old yevon's teaching and generally the culture it created. * yuna becomes an important figure for the new following of yevonites who have taken an entirely different route. this tends to put yuna in a tough position at times, for she might be seen as a way less traditional leader, which may cause yevonites of old ways to not accept her guidance and instead create discrepancies in the religious and political following. * yuna studies the secrets of bevelle and of yevon. * yuna stresses the importance of restoring the farplane's balance and keeping it stable & advocates for the guados' guidance in the matter. [ note: based on @starvingtongue's tromell's headcanons. ] * yuna is open about her al bhed lineage and openly sides with gippal on the matter of a new home. * she is not inherently anti or pro yevon. her creed is to simply let the world know the truth ( although at times veiled or omitted in part for the belief that many might not entirely understand ), although in her heart she still harbors some sort of nostalgia for what the yevon her father believed and preaches for used to be. * yuna's leading position makes her hold many public speeches. * yuna's character is generally well seen and accepted and loved. she's seen as the nation's precious daughter and now grown into a high summoner, taking her rightful spot after her father.

VSArtParty WIP - Oct. 2024

Throwing this WIP here, because I don't know when I'm able to finish it.

Vacation is over and upcoming work week fills me with a lot of dread,... I hope it won't get as bad as I fear,... but yeah first day after vacation is always strange. I'll try to stay positive and hope for the best!

And I hope you already enjoy this lil sketch ♥

Does Claryce like animals?

Oh she adores them! She's particularly a fan of reptiles, amphibians, and cats.

She likes to take care of Lumpy (the school's boa) as well as Strangles (the snake Groundskeeper Willie adopted after Bart reunited with Santa's little helper in 'Stop, or my dog will shoot!' [E20 S18]) when Willie is too busy or in vacation. And back when she was dating Patty Bouvier, Jub-Jub was great to break the ice with Selma!

But adopting a reptile or an amphibian is a big commitment and she doesn't feel comfortable with their diet, even if she occasionally feeds the school's snakes. So the day she's advised to adopt a pet to break her loneliness and routine, she goes for a cat.

Meet Murder Mittens, a feral cat Claryce decided to adopt despite the shelter advising her to go for a friendlier one. The patterns are inspired by the only cat I've had in my life, Choupi. ♥

While Murder wasn't the best option for an anxious and depressed gal like Claryce, it gave her a sense of purpose she hadn't felt for ages. (We're still talking about the cat, right?)

It took her a while (and a lot of scratches), but eventually her love and patience paid off.

Now the two are friends for life and Murder often helps Claryce feel calmer during difficult times, often preventing her to spiral into some nasty panic attacks.

The name was given by the shelter for its aggressive nature (as illustrated by poor ol' Gil above), but in the long run Claryce decides to keep it - giving the opportunity to make the best misunderstanding jokes! (As you've seen multiple times in this post alone)

Murder Mittens spends most of the time chilling in Claryce's flat, but will also pay a visit to the Mob downstairs when she's away (and trick them into thinking Claryce hasn't fed him yet). I like to think Johnny Tightlips would appreciate his soothing presence the most!

Dim lamps lighted the room at the back of the luxurious bar. Cigarette smoke lingered in the air, and a few men in expensive suits sat around a massive wooden table. Not exactly the most pleasant company. Squaletta trusted no one from another family in this room. Maintaining even vaguely "friendly" relations with another powerful mafia family was difficult, especially when they didn't share values like Vongola's. Xanxus had never been good at diplomacy, so the Vice-Commander had duties she had to fulfil, even though the risks were high. Her expression appeared indifferent, but she observed every subtle movement in the room.

This wasn't a meeting for the bosses. Too risky for Lady Vongola. The boss of the other family hadn't bothered to show up either, which meant this was still a high-stakes negotiation. However, Varia was always eager to work with Vongola in these extreme situations.

And in such cases, violence was never off the table.

Sitting as the only woman among men brought her a certain satisfaction, but it never came without sexist remarks or underestimations.

Some mafia men were just too old school. Even though she was recognized worldwide as the Sword Empress, there were always idiots who were upset that they had to negotiate with a woman. They still clung to the idea that women had no place in the mafia, except as mafia wives.

She, however, relished the unease they felt when they had to deal with her. Did they think that as a pretty blonde, she had no idea what was being discussed? If anything, she thought they had trouble focusing when she spoke, their eyes drawn to her lips painted with crimson lipstick.

Pathetic.

How many times had she heard that she got her position in Varia through Xanxus' bed? Except that she had defeated Varia's former leader herself. But who cared about details, right?

The high-ranking position as Varia's leader didn't appeal to her because she preferred being in action—protecting others or killing people. However, Xanxus often dumped his duties on her, ones he didn't want to handle himself, leaving her in situations where she needed protection, like a high-ranking position.

In these cases, she took people she trusted on missions. From Varia, but also from Vongola, since Vongola needed assurance that their intentions were communicated properly.

If anyone from Vongola had her back, it was Yamamoto. She could count on him in any situation, just as she trusted her people in Varia.

"I never thought a princess like you could handle a sword. Maybe you are just here for decoration?" One of the men at the table sneered. His voice carried such disdain that a few members of Varia stopped talking.

Squaletta raised her gaze, her eyes cold and sharp as steel. And here it was—the stupid remarks.

And when he added, "with a pretty face like that, you should stay somewhere safe. Don't worry, sweetheart, the men can handle this for you," the tension in the room became palpable.

Did he seriously call her sweetheart?

No, mindfulness techniques wouldn't work this time…

If she snapped his neck or stabbed him, those "friendly" relations would be over, right?

At that moment, Yamamoto stood up. His suit was perfectly tailored, his movements calm, but his eyes were stern. He took a few steps toward the man, who was already beginning to realize he overstepped.

"I think you should stop talking while you still have all your teeth," Yamamoto said calmly, though his voice was cold as steel.

Yamamoto's fist struck the man's face so fast that the chair he was sitting on toppled backwards. The man hit the ground with a loud crash.

Adjusting his jacket, Yamamoto cast a cold gaze around the room. "If anyone else has comments about Squaletta, we can repeat this," he said with an icy tone.

Squaletta slowly walked to where the man lay on the ground, clutching his jaw. She crouched down, her face close to his. "Don't take it personally," she whispered with a slight smirk. "Yamamoto just has a weakness for people underestimating me. But if you want to see what a ‘princess’ can do, say something like that again." A spark of amusement played in her eyes.

The blonde turned to Yamamoto with a sarcastic remark. "And I thought I had aggression issues."~

"Next time, leave me more space. I was just about to handle him myself. I like to deal with men like him on my own. I enjoy testing how much male pride can endure," she said, half-mocking. Normally, she would have yelled at him, but she understood he wasn't used to anyone speaking to her that way.

When Yamamoto's fist struck the face of that idiot, Squaletta was surprised at how quickly and decisively he acted—not out of some false gallantry, but out of genuine respect for who she was and what she could do. It was an act of respect, a clear statement that he valued her worth and wouldn't let anyone question her abilities. She was used to standing against the world alone, but this moment reminded her that having someone who stood up for her without diminishing her strength could be a sweet reminder that, after all, she wasn't entirely alone.

Saving My Fanfiction Work

First. Side note: This post was only intended to give resources to fanfiction writers and enjoyers. My talk on recent political events was a context/reasoning on why I made this post. Also I’ve had to add more information to this post over time due to people’s confusion in my comments. Explaining it was to make sure that this post didn’t come off as out of the blue for my followers and this community. Which is fanfiction.

Also, why I made this post was from people asking if they could download my fanfiction because of the recent political events in America hence why I named it “saving my fanfiction work” and added my context. So this was also a post to tell people that liked my fanfiction they could download it as long as it was for their personal collection. I merely just wanted to list resources to people who wanted to download fanfiction and don’t know where to start or don’t have the immediate resources. I’m not here to fear-monger. I am just giving resources and the reasoning on why I’m giving them along with urging people to look into those information/recent events as staying aware is important. I respect everybody who’s given their opinion and yes, some of my grammar in this post is not adequate as this post was merely made for giving/stating resources.

Lastly, I will no longer update this post with comments as I’ve said my peace, nor will I pay attention to the notifications as they are muted. As my page is for fanfiction not politics. If Samuel could will a hole into existence every time he so desperately needs one to just swallow him whole and drag him to the centre of the Earth, a coffin designed perfectly for the kind of messes he's been creating all around this already doomed planet, he'd have turned said doomed planet into the oddest piece of Swiss Cheese ever come into existence.

Which is either a very funny thought or he's bordering on succumbing to the hysterics curling his lips into that odd smile he can't shake off his lips, no matter how inappropriate it feels to wear.

His hands are pressed into his face, eyes freed still and staring at nothing at all, his fingers buried into the beginnings of his hair, messing what is already pretty messy on its own.

This is a nightmare. He hardly has the mental capacity necessary to recognize the possible and very likely implications and ramifications of the creatures he set out into the world, the slow march of decay swaggering about along the bottom of the ocean; being sat directly next to the direct consequences of his actions isn't any easier to stomach as a result, in fact, he's pretty certain that his desiring this to be a dream is teetering dangerously close to him starting to convince himself it is a dream.

Which, of course, would be violently useful.

A psychotic break in the middle of a bar next to a guy who's life he's ruining.

He groans, hands moving to slide over his face, rub into his eyes until he sees stars and begs them to come down upon him like vengeful angels and strike him off the face of the planet. Maybe that would do it. Maybe his death would kill everything he's created along with him, kind of like... killing the sire of a vampire...

"The Sazerac, please," Samuel manages to interject pathetically, which he assumes is not the tone of voice bartenders prefer out of their clients in terms of who they decide to serve and who they'd rather see out of their establishment in the next few 'immediately please'. Samuel has never been refused service before, never thrown enough back to give any barkeep reason to, never crumbled in public in a way obvious enough that it leaves any impression.

But, then again, he's also never half-assed a plot outline and have it lead to meeting the guy said plot outline had forced into itself, perhaps in a weird attempt on the universe's part to fix what he can't, to finally be the author he should be.

Oh, great, an existential crisis on top of the 'supernatural' crisis.

Samuel looks up when the barkeep returns with a glass and doesn't even have the energy to pretend he's surprised when it turns out to be water. He sighs, curses his existence with the exhausted resignation of someone who's given up on trusting in self-curses, and grabs the glass.

He manages a wry smile, charming and handsome, that the stranger is, which is perhaps part of the reason he'd fit so fucking well into the kind of story Samuel had attempted to emulate. Clichés upon clichés, all he'd managed to scratch together, who doesn't love a good explorer story and a Nathan Drake to charm anyone who'd swoon at the easy smile and easy wit?

If anything, Samuel is slowly becoming self-deprecatingly surprised he hadn't realized the moment the stranger had turned his head his way, that this is who he'd been looking for.

He'd tried to find something new to add, something fresh to add to the genre, something to stand out with, and that's precisely while it's now half-deceased and half-abandoned somewhere in a pile of notes with stories just like it.

He hadn't come up with anything that would have made it worth reading above others just like it.

"No, I... I don't think you'll die," Samuel finds himself uttering back, an open-mouthed drag of his mouth to one side to put emphasis on the word 'die', all while he unconsciously peeks over the stranger's arm to watch his sketch unfold. Oh. He can draw, too, he muses, subconsciously adjusting the glasses he sees reflected on the paper.

Charming, handsome, creative, extroverted, makes easy conversations and commands a scenario without ever making Samuel feel like he's backed into a corner by a personality much louder than his own. A guy, friendly, but not overly so.

Samuel has no idea if the plot chose him because who wouldn't fancy a heartthrob protagonist like that - which is honestly just embarrassing to admit - or because if Samuel could pay money to have any of those qualities...

The usual. Is he hot or do I just really, really wish I were him?

Samuel takes a big sip of his water.

He's loosing his goddamn mind.

He's hoping he won't die. He had briefly considered... perhaps a good way to stand out would be to... just...

He slams his hand onto the stranger's arm, eyes blown wide in a frantic panic to fix something he can't fix and prevent something not even happening yet. "Can I have your number?"

He gives himself a few seconds of sirens blaring in his ears before he connects the dots of how he sounds and recoils, only to lurch forward again, an odd dissonance of pulling away, but not appearing... what? Exactly? Damn the bartender for refusing him that drink.

"Not- not like that, wait- uhm, I'm Samuel, hi, nice to meet you, do you think we could...? As in, I would like to help. I think I might be able to- I think you might need my help- this will sound ridiculous, do--?"

He closes his eyes, counts to ten, hates himself a little more, opens them again with an exhale.

"I think I'm partly or mostly to blame for your situation but the reason why I believe that will make me sound insane. But I... need you to believe me and I think... listen, can we talk somewhere else? Maybe...? Or... some other time? Or...?"

So, after 2 months of working on it... I FINISHED MY DRAGON AND CENTAUR PAINTING!

It was a tough one as it's pretty big (31x11 inches, I think) and there were ups and downs along the way. But... I finished it.

Then... I scanned it in.

Then... I started adding some things DIGITALLY that I was too afraid to try on the finished painting.

First... I added snow.

And... I kinda l liked it.

Then... (this is the tough one)... I added heat distortion around the dragon's mouth. (like the air's so hot it's distorting the image of the trees behind).

And... I kinda liked that too.

I posted a video about it and overwhelmingly everyone liked the digital enhancements.

So... I'm going to make the poster with this one. Not the original.

And normally... this would have bothered me. I would have felt that the original was "more true to my art", but... BOTH of these are "my art".

There's nothing wrong with adding something digitally if you don't feel comfortable doing it traditionally.

There's no "right or wrong" in art. There's no "cheating".

And despite me saying this to others every day... sometimes I need to remind myself about this too.

If you like painting traditionally but there are some things you feel more confident doing DIGITALLY? Scan that traditional art in and DO IT DIGITALLY!

yourusername i never wanted to bring this to social media but i was made aware that lando released a statement today that as you can see from above, is full of nothing but lies. we’ve been best friends for a few years now and i had been in love with him for almost all of them. we recently admitted our feelings for each other and decided to see where things would go between us. it was new, but we were relationship and he did cheat on me. i don’t know who he thinks he’s fooling but i haven’t seen or spoken to him since that night at the the studio and things between us are obviously not fine. i’m also pretty sure aria had no idea about me so please do not attack her. this is the last time i’m going to speak about this situation, as i want to move on with my life.
