Amity Parkers are super good at dealing with superhero and villain battles, getting out of the rubble, helping others get out, etc.

This doesn’t shock anyone. There’s so many cities that consistently deal with superhuman battles that millions of people around the world are used to it and know what to do during a battle. Hell, there’s even government standard safety drills in schools about villain attacks now.

They didn’t stand out for a long long while among crowds of other city goers trying to flee a battle scene.

That was until a green glowing android appeared out of nowhere defeating heroes and villains alike because their abilities were rare enough to be hunted by this mysterious newcomer. So far no known weapon is able to hit the being while intangible.

That is until one unassuming citizen pulls out a strange wrist ray contraption that seems to actually stun the creature for a few seconds.

NOW all eyes are on these citizens that once lived in Amity Park

There's still morons out there thinking they're so clever when they ask 'How can Sam survive that landing with no super serum, his bones would crumble uugh I'm so smart blah blah blah' yet don't bat an eye at Bucky's equally nonsensical physics defying car-deflection via arm and car flip with a cable.

Be serious. Superhero mechanics have never made sense but the double standard is so obvious.

No one ever cared when Sam kicked a helicopter outta the way in Civil War (love that btw 🥰), but now that he's Cap there all this 'well actually' nonsense going down.

There's guys out there really thinking that a serum that makes you peak human (HUMAN!) strength and a metal arm makes you immune to basic momentum and inertia 🤣😂🤣😂 please

I'll be blunt: Captain America and Batman are both characters I don't like too much. But I still prefer Captain America to Batman. Sure, I've got a lot of hangups with Captain America's backstory (like the super soldier serum, which I cannot ignore), but he's at least a guy who means well. I often feel bad saying I dislike Captain America, because Steve Rogers himself seems like a great guy. It's just his backstory and stuff that give me some hangups.

But Batman. Batman doesn't even have a redeemable personality. Batman is an angry man who beats up the mentally ill, is drier than the sahara desert, and actively dresses in bland, drab colours. I may dislike Captain America, but I hate Batman. One character I can at least feel bad about disliking and appreciate as a concept. One is someone I practically want written out of existence. So even when Marvel's not on the ball, their characters I don't love seem way better than DC and Batman.

You know what I think most Superman adaptations fail at? Not expanding on his artistic side. Clark already has an interest in writing, so what if a young Clark got into writing poetry to deal with his feelings of loneliness? What if Clark writes political essays? Creative writing? Fanfiction?

Do something is all I ask.

Captain America is given the very human quality of drawing and painting, why can't people do that for Superman?

Which myths would you be particulary excited about working into the superfox verse

Greek myths are always a classic. I’ve already mentioned things like centaurs, harpies, sirens, and dryads. But tbh them in a modern setting has already been thoroughly explored by stories like Percy Jackson so they’re not the most exciting to explore.

I think what I’m most anticipating is Celtic folklore. It’s always been one of my favorite mythos. I kind of want to include Kelpies somehow because I love those murder horses but I’m not sure how. I just love how many of their creatures are just slightly inhuman like with the fae, leprechauns, werewolves, bodach, the dullahan, vampires, and a bunch of unique ghosts like the banshee. It would be fun to find ways to integrate them into modern society.

I think I just have a weakness for myths about tricksters

Concept- Akatosh's way of dealing with Alduin

-Alduin’s enslaving the world so Akatosh makes Miraak to fight him

-He makes Miraak super-strong and warriorlike so he has the best chance of winning

-Accidentally results in Miraak becoming a scheming warlord who also wants to enslave the world

-Therefore, second time around he makes sure to create someone who's a nice person and won't want to take over the world, and will also not shirk their responsibility to stop the world coming to harm. He also gets them to live a normal life for a bit so they know what it’s like to be a powerless little person rather than being built up and pampered into egotism like Miraak was

I think there's this overall perception of older people as being conservative and we really just need the rep of an older group standing up and saying "fuck you and everything you stand for."

Especially because the entire living OG JSA having age-fuckery being canon. I want a whole comic run that's just characters like Jay Garrick and Alan Scott and Wesley Dodds going "we fought Hitler and there is no way in hell we're letting that shit stand again."

Anyway, yeah, DC hire me and let me write a "JSA says Nazis can fuck right off" comic.

Worried abt the new comics thats gonna come out. I can handle movies having gi joe crossover but for crossovers in comic you'll have to have a spectacular art style or story to grab my attention. I mauled through majority of phase 1 of idw through pure force of fresh hyperfixation. Also Sunstreaker.

Mtmte was unique and special and beautiful and i think im gonna reread it through years to come.
