It’s that time again, fucking depressing lore art. Comes with some music too so you can sob with me💀✨This one is pretty self explanatory… I won’t go any further because I’ll start crying again…

The scene is written below

They’d scouted the area with no sign of separatist action.

“No separatists in sight commander. I think we’re clear to camp out here for the time being.” Valkyrie exclaimed.

It didn’t take long for camp to be set up as evening approached. A fire was going and conversation was flowing. 

“Did you see me take out that trandoshan? He came at me and he was this close to cutting my head clean off!” Rhino said, holding his forefinger and thumb up to show the close distance. 

“Sure vod’ika.” Bronco says, clapping his brother on the shoulder.

Rhino made an annoyed face swatting at his brother who proceeded to put him in a headlock. Laughter rumbled from around the fire as the rest of the squadron watched the scene unfold. Lee had been sitting between Bronco and Horus when the tussle broke out. She shot up onto her feet the instant Bronco went after his brother. She was laughing alongside her men when she caught Voorpret looking at her mid conversation with the general. He blushed madly realizing he’d been staring and turned back to Taleed acting like he’d been listening. Lee sauntered over to the pair greeting Taleed first then her husband. 

“The men have settled in well it would seem,” Taleed said, smiling at the clones across the camp site laughing with one another, “It’s always good to see them like this. You all deserve a normal life after this war.” the tall togruta said. 

Voorpret made a face, it almost looked like longing but Lee couldn’t quite fully register it. They slowly made their way back over to where most of the men were.

“As the war dies down from here, whatever happens know that you and your brothers are always welcome in my family.” Taleed said bowing slightly to the commander. 

Voorpret returned the bow. 

“Thank you general, I will keep your proposal in mind.” Voorpret said standing at full height now. 

Lee went to speak but was interrupted by Voorpret’s comm chiming. He answered and the hologram of the person appeared. Lee felt something in her heart tighten and she looked over towards Taleed, he must have felt it too. A disturbance in the force. 

“Commander.” The raspy voice that seemed all too familiar said, his cloaked figure concealing his face, “The time has come. Execute order 66.” It was the chancellor himself. 

Voorpret drew his blasters pointing them at the general and Lee both. The clones that had been waiting around too drew their weapons. Voorpret’s hands shook as he held his weapon up.

“Stay back,” He hissed through gritted teeth, “back!”

“Whatever happens, don't turn back, keep running.” Taleed said through Lee’s mind. 

Voorpret was fighting something, something Lee couldn’t help. A single shot fired, but it wasn’t from Voorpret’s blaster but one of the other soldiers. Lee ignited her sabers deflecting the shots as Taleed did. 

“Buir go!” Lee screamed, deflecting as much of the fire as she could as she backed away from the clones. 

Taleed hesitated for a moment, so did Lee and that was all the time for a single blaster shot to land a strike on Lee. It seared the flesh on her shoulder knocking one of her sabers from her hand. 

“Go!” Lee said using her uninjured arm to deflect the continuous shots. 

Taleed did listen this time and disappeared into the woods. Another shot scorched Lee’s leg causing her to lose her balance barely regaining her footing again and she stumbled. She cried out in desperation and she swung her saber madly deflecting more and more rounds. She needed to get out before she was completely surrounded. She missed another blaster shot this time it went right through her torso. 

It was as if time itself froze. Lee’s ears rang, her vision faltered, and she could feel her heart racing within her. She exhaled shakily, helplessly clutching her wound as her knees buckled beneath her.

Her other saber hit the ground, her body soon following. She wasn’t dead, but she could feel her body giving up. The blaster fire had stopped and she heard muffled orders being given. Tears streamed from her eyes as the pain suddenly struck her. They never said dying hurt this bad. She couldn’t move, all she could do was endure the pain until her body failed her and died. She heard her name spoken, almost a whisper. Then it was repeated, louder, and more urgent. A figure of a man hovering over her, the faint registration of a hand touching her face. 

“Fives?” Lee said, reaching up to cup the man's face.

She felt tears, wet and warm on her hands. No this wasn’t Fives. She wasn’t dead quite yet. Not just yet. Her eyes wouldn’t focus, but she could feel the scars on his face as she traced his features. 

“No cyare. Not Fives.” He said, his voice breaking, “I’m sorry. Just please don’t leave, not yet. Just wait a little longer.” 

Lee could no longer feel anything, the pain had become the only thing. She no longer felt her sensation of her hand touching his face nor the tears that ran down his face. 

“I’m tired.” Lee said, closing her eyes. 

“No mesh’la you can’t fall asleep you have to stay awake for me.” He said, trying to keep his voice even though it was breaking. 

She fought with everything she had left, even though her body was telling her that she should give up and succumb to death. 

“I love you.” She mouthed, she wasn’t even sure if she had spoken, but based on the pain visible in Voorpret’s eyes he understood. 

Two figures came up behind Voorpret hauling him up. Lee watched helplessly as Voorpret was dragged away from her. She could barely register Voorpret fighting back against the two figures, his screaming muffled. Her vision focused slightly when she turned her head towards the LAATs that had landed. Voorpret had his hands handcuffed behind his back and his brothers were holding him back as the doors shut. Lee forced her head to face back up towards the sky, it was dark now, the stars stunning as ever on this desolate planet. She sat there reaching out into the stars for anything, anyone that might hear her dying body. 

 Lee wasn’t aware of how long it had been since they’d left her there. She wanted to feel bitter towards her men, towards what had just happened, but she couldn’t bring herself to do it. She knew they couldn’t do anything about it, orders were orders. She cried, not because of the pain, but for her men, for the clones. She knew that they didn’t have a say in what had just happened, or anything that had happened or will happen to them. Fives had been right, Lee never doubted it, but now that it was actually happening it was too real to believe. He’d warned her, he had, but he wasn’t there to protect her nor tell her of the danger. He was gone. And now all Lee could hope was she’d see him once more very soon. 

She closed her eyes now, her breathing slowing slightly. When she opened them she wasn’t lying in the grass beneath the stars anymore, but standing in a cafe. It was relatively empty, but a figure sat in one of the booths. Lee approached the table, sucking in a breath when she realized who it was as she drew nearer. She paused and the man she loved, and still loved turned to face her. He was wearing civis, simple pants with a tight t-shirt and a light jacket. His smile reached the corners of his eyes, his warm eyes just as full of life as the last time Lee had looked into them, and his iconic goatee still complimenting his features. 

“Are you just gonna stand there looking like a bantha caught in the headlights?” He chuckled standing to his feet now. 

Lee didn’t hesitate, throwing herself into his arms. She could feel the beating of his heart, the warmth radiating from his skin, his lips against her temple. 

“I missed you so much.” Lee sobbed into his chest, clutching the fabric of his shirt. 

“I know, but you can’t stay with me just yet.” He tilted her face up by her chin making her look him in the eyes, “You still have a whole life ahead of you.” 

The shock dissipated from her, but she continued to sob into his chest.

“But I want to stay here with you. I don’t want to go back to that stupid universe without you in it.” She exclaimed, her voice almost pleading. 

Fives smiled cupping Lee’s face gently with both of his hands, wiping the tears away with his thumbs. 

“I was just a piece in the puzzle of your life, and if force allowed I would crawl out of my grave and back into your arms in an instant. However if I never had died you would have never fallen in love with Voorpret, or saved all of those people, or became the person you are now. I will always be with you mesh’la, you were the love of my life in the physical world, and you still are now even if I am gone.” He said. 

Lee sighed heavily, calming herself. What he said was true, she had to go back, she couldn’t just leave all of those people who loved her or the world that needed her. 

“Okay,” She said, “I’ll go back.” 

Fives’s smile never left his features, his hands sliding down Lee’s body to rest on her waist.

“That's my girl.” He said, resting his forehead against Lee’s. 

He tilted his head ever so slightly bringing his lips to hers in a chaste kiss. 

Lee’s eyes closed, melting into the sensation of her lover once more. She thought she’d never feel his touch again, express her undying love for him, or see his handsome face again. But here she was, in the world between worlds, giving him the goodbye she never got to give him.

“I love you.” Fives said, pulling away slightly, his lips brushing against Lee’s as he spoke. 

When Lee parted from him and opened her eyes she was met by the stars once more. She was still alive, but just barely. The warmth around her was gone and she felt the cold wind billow through the grass and over her skin. 

She didn’t know what brought her to do it, but she sat up. Maybe it was Fives helping her stand, whatever it was she got up. Most people would have already died, but Lee, Lee took a step, and then another until she reached the treeline. Like she’d predicted, Taleed was nearby. He’d been waiting until the coast was clear before he would go in search of Lee. The deep blue togruta approached Lee, catching her as her body collapsed. 

Lee awoke some time later laying in one of the tents they’d set up earlier in the night. Her wounds had been patched up best Taleed could do considering the equipment he possessed. 

“It’s good to have you back lil’un,” Taleed said, “you’re in pretty bad shape, I did the best I could to patch you up.” He sat down on the ground next to the makeshift cot where Lee lay. 

Lee groaned in pain as she turned to slightly face Taleed. 

“Thank you buir.” Lee said fondly, offering a pained smile.

Taleed nodded. 

“I’m sorry I didn’t come for you sooner. Is there anything I can get you?” He said softly.

Lee shook her head. 

“I’m alright. Just tired and hurting.” She turned her head back towards the ceiling. 

“Tomorrow I’ll go into the nearby village to gather supplies and see if any of the locals have a proper place to stay. For now we will stay here at camp, its the safest option right now.” The man said. 

“I’ll be alright here then, it’ll give me time to rest and heal.” Lee said quietly, closing her eyes. 

“I’ll be outside meditating if you need me.” Taleed said getting up and exiting the tent. 

Lee drifted off to sleep once more, tomorrow was a new day and Lee accepted it with open arms.

MAIN FAMILY

what started as anime ocs from our youths has turned into a full universe centered around (1) giant magic family. i’m talking generations of queers in love and having a good time. this is the main bit of our ocs and they usually get tossed (like salad) through different aus, timelines, careers, existences etc. the main-main ocs from this universe would be mai (they/them) and slate (he/him).

the main family itself centers around the takuma’s (mai’s family); descended from a fertility goddess & a nature god and are witches p much. slate, a normie ends up getting swept up in the whirlwind and ends up dragging his friends into it too.

PLAGUE INC.

PLAGUE INC has had its claws in this city for too many years to count; and everything that exists is under their control. The police, the government, crime, even you. Their crowning achievement to maintain power comes via The Horsemen—experiments of extraordinary power who wield abilities similar to their monikers. Death (they/she) is one in a long list of her namesake, and like many before her; she wants to get out. But you can’t just leave PLAGUE INC. — unless you’re in a body bag. Horsemen are kept separate unless they’re on missions, but The Higher Ups have grown sloppy; made complacent by their unchecked privilege. And as Death learns, The Horsemen and their allies are stronger together, and for the shit hands they’ve all been dealt… there’s more than just fire and brimstone to pay.

GUARDIANS

The world may have ended… but in (City Name) it evolved

Saelime was already at the precipice of finding the cure to the outbreak when it reached the city they lived in. Thinking fast, she and her confidants were able to fire up her newest creation THE DOME to keep the virus out and meager remains of the population in. Using her cure, she was able to remove the virus from virtually all inhabitants and under her leadership she was able to progress society even beyond the world’s wildest dreams before the virus even began.

But with great power comes great responsibility. And that great responsibility creates enemies.

No one was expecting when Saelime was assassinated. But using her same technology that saved humanity from its downfall before allowed for her body was preserved. The different aspects of her research and work were placed into towers in different areas of the city and Guardians were put into place to ensure that her work wouldn’t fall into the wrong hands.

But without Saelime to herald innovation… The cracks in her work that she had yet to improve are beginning to show. Those who survived the outbreak outside THE DOME are slipping in more and more through its cracks to try and steal her work and gain control of the city. And the Guardians themselves need to discover if there is a way humanity can ever leave THE DOME… and what plans Saelime was truly working towards.

THE ATELIER: DEVIL’S VANITY

Underneath the city, a land of darkness, violence, and sin awaits. Demons, the supernatural, and hedonistic pleasure are king here and at the center of it all, The Atelier ruled by Vangel (or DeVa; they/he/deux/vanguard) focuses on custom designs, lingerie and making your wildest dreams come true (obviously, at a price).

Over the many years that Vangel has been alive, he’s taken in numerous lost souls as their “children” and they all have a place in his Atelier. Currently, Leoné (or Leo; they/countess/hers), Solstice (any), Nadeen (he/him), and Alice (she/he) all reside with Vangel and manage the day to day of the Atelier.

Elsewhere, under Vangel’s watchful eye, a human brothel runs strong. Mistress Saccharine (she/her) similarly to her flame (Vangel), has numerous “children” she watches over and even further in the Atelier, demons head to the surface to take jobs among humans, blending in among the shadows.

This colorful cast of characters may get up to more darker fun than most, but their bonds are stronger than anything else known to man.

ANIMAL GUARDIANS

The many nations of (land) have come together to enact peace treaty by electing guardians from each of the animal-humanoid races around their land. Keeping peace is hard work, but their interpersonal lives don’t stop just because they have a fancy title! Hijinks and antics ensue.

SILVER & ROU

Lady Silver Needle Tea (she/her) has decidedly sworn off romance. Numerous proposals from vying lords ever since she first began to blossom have made her wary and downright hostile: if you wish for her hand, then you’ll have to best her in a sword fight. And… as the best swordsman in the land only second to her own mother, it’s thinned the crowd of suitors significantly.

This all changes when she unexpectedly meets an assassin, the red wine dragon Merlot “Rou” (he/him) who just so happens to be in town on business. They hit it off and fall hard and fast, their romance changing each of them for the better.

THE STAR CHILD

After being wrongfully enslaved by a tyrannical ruler, Hassan (he/him), supported by his eventual wife Tatiana “Titi” (she/her; trans) led a revolt against the powers at be and reclaimed the throne for himself. Their desert nation for so long has been struggling and through Hassan and Titi’s keen and just leadership, the nation is beginning to get on its feet once more.

The one thing that could make this all perfect would be if they could have a child; a signifier of their love, their commitment to their nation and each other, and to take on the torch of the kingdom when the time comes. After many years devoted to their people, the gods hear them and answer their wish—a child descended from the heavens and delivered right on the palace’s doorstep bearing a star symbol on his head. They name him Naseer (he/him).

But why have the gods answered their prayer? What power does their star child hold? And what lays in wait as other kingdoms begin to take notice of their budding nation?

I have officially watched all of rosado's supports and some of them in Japanese, and it is incredible how they just didn't translate some parts? I need a transcript to confirm, but I'm pretty sure rosado uses 中性 to describe his townsfolk... that means gender neutral, literally the kanji for medium/middle + sex/gender

he also specifically mentions cutesy men and cool women, confirming people from his village are not just cute but in general showcase different types of beauty, regardless of gender (and yes! he also says the "regardless of gender" part in Japanese too! I love him sm)

there's also the first support with louis which I think is really funny because the ENGLISH VERSION JUST REMOVED TJE PART WITH "EVEN THOUGH I'M A BOY????" LMFAO

I imagine because they thought it was offensive or something? but I think it makes sense, fogado said to celine the firenese appear unsociable and closed off to those from other lands, closed off being the key word here

Chihaya's Wanted List 🦈❌👊

Thought of what sort of enemies Chihaya has encountered and how they beat them! The number of samurai they've slain is very high, but these are some notable ones.

🎐 To note:

The thing with this is that Chihaya tries very hard to make sure their mission is discreet, lest all other samurai are alerted. Lest their family and home village are targeted. That was the biggest worry, and also that they feel that their father wouldn't have wanted this. But after realizing that they don't trust anyone else to do this right, they followed through with being the General.

Because of the dangers of repercussions, if they're hunting one down- they won't stop until that one is dead. They're all bubbly and sweet, but on the job they are incredibly dead serious, it's a jarring change.

It's also one of the reasons that while Chihaya is known to be a huge protector of the East Sea, a lot of what they do is often told in vague or exaggerated stories, often putting them in a pedestal. If others belittle them for being too nice as a general, they wouldn't care either, because at least they're doing their job huh?

But most importantly, Chihaya knows for sure that- their victories are not to boast about. They were only able to slay most of them with the gracious help of others. Also that it's also in turn, an unforgivable act to spill more blood despite it being right legally, and that they are... very exhausted with the fear of failure haha.

💀 Gosho's Murderer

Info: First person to go was the samurai who murdered Chihaya's dad. If they could defeat him then they're fit to start protecting the land The samurai was a very skilled swordsman that uses colorful magic to blind foes.

Death: Chihaya was able to ignore the flashiness and hone in on the scent of blood, thus killing the guy. However, they left Hajime, the samurai's son, without a dad and a grudge to fester.

💀 Fire Samurai

Info: Burned down villages with underwater flames.

Death: Chihaya used the help of a local lung family to douse the flames and kill.

💀 Skeleton Samurai

Info: Took the life force of passerby's away to fuel own power.

Death: Chihaya found the death site of the samurai and redid the funeral with the help of monks, sending them to the underworld.

💀 Leviathan Samurai

Info: An actual fucking leviathan-like creature who cultivated enough to gain a mermaid form to eat others.

Death: Chihaya had to find out which specific type of leviathan it was and sliced that baby down the center.

💀 Kokyu Samurai

Info: A samurai that uses a magic Kokyu, their katana fused with the bow, and produces sounds that can decimate towns and people.

Death: Chihaya learned the movement of the song with the help of a famous Kokyu player and they were able to break the instrument to kill the samurai.

💀 Fishing Samurai

Info: A samurai who cut off the tails of others they think are beautiful to decorate their home and to trade.

Death: Chihaya used their own skills of fishing to kill the samurai with their own tactics. A local fishing family helped with the materials to get it done.

💀 Wedding Samurai

Info: Samurai that would steal brides/grooms on their wedding day to take as their own until they are bored and slay them. Very evasive and can e invisible.

Death: Chihaya had to make a deal with a local demon/sorcerer to have the sight to see the samurai and fake getting kidnapped to kill them.

💀 Flying Samurai

Info: A flying fish samurai who would attack innocent land dwellers crossing the sea by slicing their boats.

Chihaya: Had to learn how to adjust to being on land by the victim land dwellers to fight and kill the samurai on a boat.

💀 Moon Samurai

Info: A highly powerful child samurai that has their powers heightened on the moonlit nights, cleansing populations deemed filthy in their eyes.

Info: Or what constitutes as a merfish oni, which is a giant and powerful oni samurai that terrorizes trade routes. This time, there are three sibling oni samurai, one more fierce than the other.

Death: Chihaya had to learn what type of targets each oni liked and villagers helped dress Chihaya to trick the oni. They were able to slay each oni when they got too close.

Info: A horrible mutilated worm/demon samurai who only appears in nightmares or surreal events to torture and eat innoscents.

Info: There's a powerful lung family who's head is a notorious samurai, but they hide behind law loopholes to save themselves.

Weaknesses: They must be tried legally in court to be executed, but evidence must be found first.

Info: A beautiful samurai who lures passerby's to death with ice-like powers.

Weaknesses: Anything warm/hot, though they only appear in colder seasons/areas to be found.

😈 Mechanical Samurai

Info: A mechanical puppet/doll samurai made of enchanted coral. It houses the soul of a samurai who never wishes to stop dueling, thus cannot die.

Weaknesses: While the body can be obliterated, the soul can take nearby coral to remake itself. The soul must be destroyed somehow.

Info: A shapeshiting samurai that can change into the form of any victim if they wear their clothes after death. Loves to take the places of others.

Weakness: They hide for so long it's difficult to know where they are or even who they are until it's too late, and they are gone.

aww well, firstly thank you for keeping up with them bc i know it’s a lot and it probably seems like i’m just pulling ideas out of a hat at this point 😭 however i will offer you some insight to my madness:

tl;dr i’m an idea hoarder

planned however isn’t like always the case with all my stories. i generally separate my ideas into 3 camps:

stories where i have the characters + plot thought out or planned out (most developed and ones i usually write for and ramble about)

stories where i have a half baked idea—so it’s usually either a bare bones plot, bare bones characters, or a little bit of both

stories that are mostly vibes. even if i have certain aspects thought out there’s like entirely too many holes to make anything coherent & i need to think on them more lol.

NAD (one day this will get a good title) — what do a forcibly turned psychic nurse (nyseah), a college student who works as a secretary of a large conglomerate (alona), and a jaded detective investigating the murder of a up and coming pop singer have in common (donte)? more than you’d think lmao. these three intersecting storylines take center stage in the corrupt city of new mananza, leading to the exposure of a horrific plot that’s been in motion for near as long as the city’s been around.

CELESTIAL WEDDINGS — dagmar of dattenmaow from a young age is one of the eight hopefuls chosen to have a shot at becoming the next celestial ruler, as the previous one, rava, died extremely prematurely. in order to have a chance, he and the other hopefuls must travel to each of the eight spheres (or lands) to woo a member of the royal family for their hand in marriage, discovering what lead to rava’s death along the way. this is a poly story so dag ends up with 8 partners & everyone is nb with rotating pronouns so it’s fun :)

PURPLE HAZE (including the sequel blue jeans) — calvin and jake have been best friends since they were 5, next door neighbors always attached at the hip. at the end of their hs years everything that they had going for them suddenly comes crashing down, between jake’s suicide attempt and calvin’s long time gf hailey breaking up with him suddenly and without warning. 2 years later the two of them are on complete opposite sides of the world trying to pick up the pieces and get out of these dark spots. purple haze is a super personal story to me cuz it does take some direct inspo from my life and i’ve had cal & jake as ocs since i was 8 lmaooo. the sequel blue jeans follows their younger sisters; the twins penny and jenny (cal’s sisters) and katia (jake’s sister) and how they slowly enter adulthood. there’s a bit more emphasis on penny and katia bc the two of them have some romance to sort out, meanwhile jenny is the most well adjusted of all of them 💀

AZAB AND THE HERO’S SHADE — this is a story en progress but tldr i have a self insert oc for legend of zelda (and a side blog for it here: @breath-of-reincarnation ) however i thought it’d be cool to make an original story with some of the concepts. i haven’t gotten too far into worldbuilding but the chosen one character is azab, his love interest/the stand in for my oc is jas & zelda is princess narindi

SHROUDED IN DARKNESS— alessandra of the kingdom of darkness has always felt as though she’s been denied her people’s birthright; the ritual blinding of oneself under the light of the moon (their goddess), this is bc of a vision her mother saw when she had her. alessi doesn’t understand why she must stay sighted until she is proposed to by their sworn enemies the empire of light to end their endless war through political marriage. it seems unfair all things considered, as the empire of light has been carrying on a genocidal crusade against the kingdom of darkness for as long as anyone can remember. but it is with this proposal that alessandra realizes her purpose: she must keep her sight until she brings the empire of light to its knees by killing the entire royal family. this is very much a vengeance story and touches on a lot of dark themes and it’s pretty gory but i’m excited to write it one day

NOBLE — a heavy scifi story this is. noh bell wakes up adrift in space, with no knowledge of himself (apart from his name) and where he is. he’s found and taken in where his name suddenly flashes across a news reel as being a wanted fugitive but he can’t remember why. so he has to figure out why he’s wanted, who he is, and how to stay alive. while i don’t know everything 100% i do know that noh was a former member of the space governments police special ops super soldier program thing called the JACK&JILL project, where basically super soldiers are taken as babies, enhanced, and then assigned in groups of two to deal with shit. jacks are the brains of the operation and jills are the brawn. noh is also mute (from these experiments) & he uses sign language :)

GOD EATER — this story is mostly vibes but from what i’m understanding basically the life force of the cyber world that exists has been stolen and heaven has to descend into the underbelly to catch the culprit who stole it. in their descent, they become nevaeh and among the many cast of divine concepts and characters they meet, they find an ally in thei, the god eater, the last in a race of terrifying beings who can literally snuff out the light of gods (by eating them LMAO). this confirms the suspicion that a god is responsible for the theft of “the sun” (which is what ig we’re calling it) and so nevaeh, their guardian little bear, thei, and thei’s keeper taj along with others possibly set off to do the thing. cuz basically if the sun isn’t returned the whole world will collapse into a singularity or black hole LMAOOOO

TRAIN MASTER CHIDORI — vibes for my boy chidori!! still trying to work out the actual plot and happenings but it’s cyberpunk and fun pfff

THE VIRGIN OF MOUNT HEREDOSA — nyoka has been a ward of “the temple” (can u tell i’m great with names 🙄 this will get a better name eventually) since they were young, with the express purpose of one day fulfilling their duty of becoming a sacrifice to the gods. but nyoka REALLY does not want any part of that shit. after trying to sneak out for the millionth time, nyoka is pulled before the council of elders and is told they are next in line to be sacrificed. the only way nyoka can void this situation is if they lose their virginity basically lmao. so they start on a quest to do that & end up meeting an outcasted god who offers some “help” ahem. this story is gonna be pretty explicit and monster fucking is gonna happen tm.

THE WHITE SHIRTS — a couple of decades removed from ww3, twins prosper and jane live out their day to day lives in a small town. their life is disrupted when out of the blue men in convertibles wearing white button up shirts and black shades show up and start slaughtering people—but prop and jane are able to escape. being hunted by the white shirts (since that’s what they start calling them) leads the two of them to meeting a slightly older teen, marin, who has had a run in with these white shirts before and is making his way to the east coast. there are rumors that there’s a boat there that can take you away from the ruins of america and obvs away from the white shirts. while jane is more trusting, prop is wary of this stranger suddenly helping them but he has no choice. so the three of them start heading east and yknow. fight to survive all that.

BOYS UNDER FLOWERS — this is based off of the k drama boys over flowers bc i HATE IT. i don’t have ocs yet but basically instead of the actual storyline when that rich guy starts being shitty towards the mc, they’re just gonna plot to kill him lmaoooo

MARVIN & LINDA (or the spy story) — marvin and linda (code names obvs) are two secret agents who have just completed a job together and are waiting for extraction. they however get blindsided by a notice from marvin’s company that they won’t be extracted for two months and now they’re suddenly stuck in this hotel room together until then. it’s less about them being spies and more about two private people opening up to each other A LOT due to the close proximity with a bittersweet ending lol.

SACRIFICE — mostly just vibes. i know edgar and naja are step siblings and i think they’re on the run from a cult???? but what else is going on i have no clue lmaooo

Fish! Sirens keep certain kinds of large fish (that I have yet to design) as livestock-- Tethys possibly had a job related to that, or related to hunting. Sometimes cooked, sometimes not, especially since they haven't been able to easily get on land in decades.

Can't think of any specific activities so I'll go more general/personality. She loves diving headfirst into Situations without acknowledging her own safety first. She hates waiting for things to resolve on their own if she feels she can intervene. Very impulsive, at least once she's provoked.

❤️ - What is one of your OC’s best memories?

Probably a peaceful moment with her family, before everything went wrong. Her braiding her kid's hair, her wife Delphine nearby. An afternoon with good, chill vibes. Tethys probably looks back on times like that a lot and it Hurts.

SPEAKING OF! That would be the day she lost her family. Pirates in this universe have ways to raze underwater villages, equipment to dive down themselves and fight... Did you know sirens float to the surface when they die?

Fire. (Not a huge fear, but one that makes sense for her.)

Captain Whitlock. He's the pirate captain responsible for destroying her village and ruining her life. She's now dedicated her life to tracking him down, taking back an important magical artifact he stole, and killing him.

Another anon has already nailed the main reason head on, so I won't explain it much, but yeah... it's the power dynamics. Being around a "insane" person is a thing, being around a insane person with power is a completely different thing. The amount of power king gyu has makes him seem 10x more threatening. With lvls, escaping him or defending yourself from him if he was to become too dangerous feels possible, not to mention that him being submissive to the core make him seem easier to control in general (you almost pity him from how miserable this fucker presents himself as). With yrmqn, he is literally above the law, he can do a n y t h i n g he wants to you and he will cause no one can stop him.

Another thing that I think might influence is the fantasy element in yrmqn. Because the furtherer away from realism the setting of the story goes, the more absurd and grandiose everything that happen within it looks like as well. Loser gyu is more easily acceptable because at first he seems like someone you could actually come across in you life, like many of us have experienced at least one cute seemingly harmless creep simping real hard for us, that happens. But to have a mini royal creep decide to keep you as his emotional support pet throughout childhood and then later in life rape you, assassinate half of his family, incriminate his wife and almost literally set his whole country on fire in a war, just to keep you around... it's flabbergasting, the red flag just look so fantastically huge it's impossible not to be weary of him. And in the midst of all the fantastical elements and characters in yrmqn, tyun ends up coming across as the most grounded one, the most down to earth and reasonable one - if on top of that you consider that he is actually punished on the long run for this way of being, readers may end up siding with him for a mix of familiarity and pity.

Don't get me wrong, I actually like both characters. I really do. I enjoy king gyu for the sheer extravagant absurdity of his obsession and devotion. But I also prefer Loser Gyu. Simply because he actually reminds of how my fiancé was when we first met 💀 (but my fiance realized how fucked up he was early on in the relationship, started therapy, started taking proper meds, let go of his addictions, rekindled his relationship with his family, started taking better care of his physical health, finished his studies, got a good honest job... and now he is a much better person).

yeah that makes a lot of sense. yamqn gyu just feels so oppressive and inescapable. in LL oc appears to hold all the power which is actually gyu's tactic. he purposefully represents himself as harmless and weak so oc wouldn't be wary of him

that's an intruiging point, but wouldn't you say LL gyu is more menacing because of the realism? like yamqn being a fantasy land makes the threat seem like real and palpable. but the rest of it yeah he has done way crazier things than LL gyu (though LL gyu secretly filmed oc, tried to coerce her into being his gf and ruining her engagement, leaked sex tape of them together and caused her family to disown her...) but i meant that people already didn't like gyu even before most of that stuff

yeah tyun is the much more sympathetic character, perhaps because of his flaws and inner turmoil

i joined 2 fandoms this year mainly: hannibal and supernatural, so -

for hannibal, i love stagethree, HigherMagic, & YouAreMyDesign (i'm here for the smut with these folks lol). i mostly stuck with one-shots this year for hannibal. these authors are also pretty creative with prompts and scenarios. i discovered...heh. a lot.

and lastly, for supernatural, i discovered dollylux, objectlesson, and applecrumbledore(!!!). all three just write this deliciously fucked-up angst, like top tier angst, i don't think i've read angst that's more potent. and for smut, wrenseroticlibrary. they also write a lot of trans!AUs which is how i started reading more trans!winchester content and it gives me life.

out of all of them though? gotta be applecrumbledore. i literally hang off of their every word, me and a mutual on twitter send each other fics whenever they update their account lol.
