Then, she raised her hands in a graceful arc, pointed loosely at the ceiling, and chanted, “Well, off you go.” She made a shoo, go away gesture, the spirits disappeared, and—wait. The spirits disappeared.

Today was a Smitten day for me, and not only was it a Smitten day, but I also went on a full rollercoaster regarding him.

It all started with a silly drawing of SmittenCheated ship! A friend on Discord was talking about their dynamic, and I was so obsessed with the way they described it, that I immediately (literally got out of bed for this) went to draw these two as "the bride and her ugly ass groom" meme. Also, just wanted to point out that I lined Cheated with my right (non-dominant) hand, just to sell the effect even more. Silly fun! That's all it was!

But then a different friend shared a comic of HEA and Smitten in their art thread and destroyed everyone's hearts with it. We were all wailing for a long, long while. And so I drew my own HEA!Smitten:
