You can ignore the low quality of the photos, but.. I figured I'd give an insight as to my methods when needle minder making that should hit The Sturdy Nerdy Stitchery , and no video because I was too lazy to get the tripod.

So, in numerical order:

1) I grab the first embellishment. The little plastic acrylic heart.

2) I flipped the heart over to the back side, place the template, and Mark two holes with a pencil.

3) I then take out my e6000 and I apply a decent amount of glue from the hole to the edge.

4) I then place the wings atop the glue, lining them up with the holes. I then take a little more glue and cover all sides with glue, for added strength. I let the heart and wings sit for several minutes just enough so that the glue is dry enough that I can flip it over without risk of glue and cutting board sticking together.

5) I then pull out a chopstick, and I apply a little ball of blue sticky tack to the end. This helps stick the crescent Moon embellishment so it's easier to apply the glue to where I need it rather than getting glue on my hands.

6) after applying the glue to the crescent Moon.. I flipped the heart over. I then flip the chopstick over and carefully align the moon into the center of the heart pressing firmly, then holding the moon in place, I carefully remove the sticky tack. And then take an object and use it to move the moon around until it is centered in the heart. The glue only has a few minutes before it sets.

7) aside from the time it takes for the glue to dry, the heart compact is pretty much done! So, until I perfect these, do some quality control assurance, and make sure they are up to snuff, you can head on over to The Sturdy Nerdy Stitchery to fulfill all of your current stitching needs, or, get yourself a needle minder while you wait!
