Ok, so I’ve been piecing the zombie au together in my brain from reading everything under the tag and I have some questions (but I can only remember one at the moment lol).

It takes a year for Wilbur (and Phil) to find Kristin, Tommy and Techno right? And Wilbur doesn’t know he’s immune until he’s bit protecting Tommy. What I was wondering was how was Wilbur able to stay alive for long? I assume he met up with some other survivors at points, but there had to be big chunks of time when he was by himself (especially with his dad being a zombie and Wilbur not trusting that other survivors won’t hurt Phil). Like how did him manage to survive on his own and avoid a whole bunch of zombies?

It's very easy to hide out in the woods, especially when you have a rotting corpse that follows you around and scares away most of the animals around. Another benefit to having a zombie for a companion is it's easier to stay under the radar of other zombies, at least from a distance. While he wouldn't be able to blend in in a crowd, he could probably go through a town unscathed as long as he's quick about it. There are moments where he had to pull a bit of a kaz brekker, which is a bit too intense to fully elaborate on so I'll leave it at that. Iykyk haha

She opened her mouth to speak, and Lockwood suddenly couldn’t bear to hear whatever that haunted look in her eyes heralded. 

He groaned softly and rolled over—falling right out of bed and onto the floor.

Even the mix of hollow despair and burning hunger in the boy's expression seemed to resonate deep in his soul.

Lockwood was just starting to edge over into something akin to panic when he looked up and spotted a slim figure, sitting on the garden wall like a cat preening itself in the sun.

From the corner of his eye, he caught the hint of a wicked smile on the boy’s lips.

So Confession time -- I completely forgot about a few of these. I've also found a file with some notes on Lucy's mum which I think I'll work into other fics.

I also found an untitle document containing the below snippet and I have no idea what it was for. Where was I going with this, past me?? I like it, it's rather good. What was going to happen?!

Lockwood’s bed was empty. The ghost-lamp flicked off, plunging the room back into darkness and George turned on his heel, leaving the door open to stomp downstairs. There was no point being quiet - Lockwood was already up, and Lucy slept like the dead. He’d have a job getting her up in a minute as it was. But when he got downstairs, the kitchen was empty. No light shone from the library or sitting rooms, and no boys slept on armchairs or sofas when he peeked in. Frowning, he turned the kitchen light on and opened the door to the basement. That, too, was quiet and dark.

That's it, that's the entire doc. Whyyyyyyy. Oh wait, I think this might be a post-aickmere's george fic that was gonna be a sequel to Worse. Maybe.

A Handy Excuse with @cats-and-metersticks @monsterbananatv @menina89 @hailqiqi and sciroccoorion was super fun to write! got my sapphire walk fic out of the way with a lot of support from friends.

oof this is hard, but i have to go with mr. darcy and elizabeth bennet. i’m a basic girl at heart.

15. what's a wip you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

if we’re being honest, the Wildcard series, but the two stories stand on their own so at least i can live with that.

16. what are your writing strengths?

i’m good at writing efficiently, saying a lot in a little, and packing a gut punch in under 1,000 words. i’ve been told that i can change writing styles fairly easily, but i think i just write what the situation calls for.

17. what are your writing weaknesses?

i’m a little too good at writing efficiently, and by that i mean i really really struggle to write long, and this is across all genres. part of it’s that i’m just not a fast writer, and so it’s a patience thing. i’m getting better at recognizing where a story needs more meat on the bones, but actually putting it on is another matter.

18. thoughts on dialogue in another language?

it can be done very well, just not by me.

19. first fandom you wrote in?

harry potter. from voldemort’s perspective, and you will never find it.

20. favorite fic you've written?

it depends on the day you ask me, but Knave of Clubs (Wildcard) is very solid even when I’ve gone back to it.

this response is super delayed partially because i answered a similar one a few days before i got it and partially because i have been neglecting my inbox since then and i forgor but here goes:

halloween! i love all things spooky and the way i celebrate with a combonation of modren halloweeny things and traditional samhain things makes me feel connected to my celtic heritage

my friends. as corny as it is, id have literally nithing in my life without them. my irl friends, my online friends, everyone. i love yall so much

crochet and sewing. there is something so relaxing and satusfying about it and learning more and more about fiber craft and textiles is fascinating

doll making. my current prefered media for this is amigurumi crochet, but ive been looking at getting into making ball jointed dolls from clay.

stories. telling thm, reading them, writing them, watching them. all kinds. fantasy, romance, sci-fi, comedy, drama, horror, poetry, classics, experimental formats, everything. ive been hooked on thm since i was old enough to ask for them and the passion for them has never gone away
