Some time ago, my fiancé and I came up with the idea that Monoma has a ginormous collection of dumb and specific socks he wears to deliberately be a menace. One thing led to another and it ended up being a quest to annoy the hell out of Aoyama. Because of course he would after learning about the misdeeds of the sparkle

Shoto Todoroki (mha) Headcanons

Having been raised apart from his siblings and his father being what he was, Todoroki's only memories of tickling as a child are tied to his mother; but after she was driven to the brink and hospitalized (how the fuck the author decided that the system that made Endeavor no. 2 was fine at some point after the Stain arc and that no charges should be pressed will forever baffle me), young Todoroki was cut off from that form of affection, among many others.

So when he was reintroduced to it by his classmates, everyone was surprised by his reaction, including Todoroki himself: not only is he very ticklish, he is completely unprepared when it cones to dealing with the sensation, and unable to stifle his reaction in the slightest: when he tries, he closes his eyes, giggles, and squirms in place, but the adorable display tends to be short-lived. His laughter is every bit as adorable as Izuku's, and unlike the latter's, it almost seems completely genuine, like he's just that happy, even though tickling can feel like torture to him.

It goes without saying that the first to tickle him was Kirishima, breaking down that physical barrier and confusing Todoroki quite a bit - is it torturous, or does it make him feel giddy? Izuku would be next, and even Shoji on one occasion after a massage; and after he started getting close to Bakugo, the two did clash ticklishly a couple of times. Tickling also ended up playing a part in his attempts to reconnect with his siblings, Fubuki and especially Natsuo in particular - defeating the golden child with tickles really made him feel like a big brother.

But unlike most of his male classmates, the other main exception being Midoriya, Todoroki is quite the popular lee with the girls as well, who love seeing the stoic, handsome boy giggle, attention that would end up eliciting the envy of Kaminari and Monoma.

But as surprised as everyone when he was revealed to be a viable lee, the few who have witnessed him as a ler were downright shocked. Initially, as expected, he didn't have a clue what to do, but with pointers from Kirishima, and a few from Izuku and even Bakugo, he became an absolute menace to those three, learning their most vulnerable spots and targeting them without holding back, having no compunction about summining ice restraints if he feels like it or driving his lees to their limit. And with his attitude seeming so dispassionate even as he mines their worst spots for hysteria, he flusters his three lees to no end, but even more so once he starts to remark on what he's doing and how they're reacting in that matter-of-fact manner of his.

Kirishima might be his most frequent lee since he'll just ask for it, but his favorite is no doubt Izuku: I see Todoroki as a homoromantic ace (and as an aside, the character I could most easily see as transmasc), and that he'd catch feelings for Izuku feels inevitable. So the poor greenette might have ended up laughing a whole lot as part of Todoroki's attempts at skinship.

Oof, that was a lot. Onto his worst spots!

As you can see, I'm keeping them SFW (much like his Auction chapter), but each spot also has two ratings, because his left and right sides are ticklish in different ways. His left side is generally more ticklish than the right, with one very notable exception. Kirishima probably didn't notice this split at first, this feels more like something Izuku would get curious about, and Bakugo would later wind up exploiting lol While his total isn't that high as a result, a tickler who knows what he's doing that targets his weaker spots will break him in no time, and Todoroki's low stamina is felt all the more in a ticklish setting.

Oh, Todoroki has the misfortune of being feather-ticklish, though not as much as Midoriya, but an easy way to break him is temperature play: ice cubes on his left side and, well, lickles and roasting on the right just destroy him.

Smiling (4.5-5.5): Todoroki's chest and B-side aren't very ticklish, but still somewhat responsive to feather-like tickling.

Giggling (6-7): Todoroki's ears, neck, and thighs are giggle-worthy, as is his left hip (curiously less sensitive than the right) and his right underarm (much less sensitive than the left). The way he scrunches up his nose when his ears or neck are tickled make them most of the girls' favorite spots.

Laughing (7.5-8.5): Todoroki's midsection is very ticklish and yields consistent results whether you're tickling the left side or the right - but his lers are likely to be doing both at the same time if they're there. These happen to be the least feather-sensitive areas on his body.

Howling (9-10): These spots absolutely wreck Todoroki, he can't handle having them tickled, and they're the only target that immediately cause Todoroki to look like he's being tortured (which is generally what the lers targeting them want, whether they're Natsuo, Bakugo, or particularly mean Kiri and Izuku). Interestingly, his right side breaks the pattern of his right... side being less sensitive, as it's his second most ticklish spot overall, only trumped by his right foot. Also, each red spot is the favorite of one of his most frequent ticklers: Kirishima is more likely to linger on his armpits, Izuku on his sides (though, having mapped out his most ticklish spots, he is fond of mixing and matching when Todoroki needs skinship), and Bakugo on his feet (definitely NOT because targeting them makes him feel better about his own super ticklish tootsies); Natsuo will hit anything within reach.

Monoma would be the type of menace to copy Sero's quirk and then tape people's mouth shut whenever he thinks theyre being annoying (especially people out of 1A)

for the weird bnha ships… i’m gonna have to go with monoshin. I know it isn’t exactly as weird or rare as it used to be, but it’s still heavily underrated and i think the ship has a lot in terms of potential. shinsou and monoma have a lot more in common than they appear to at first glance and they give me huge “power couple” vibes that shinkami can’t match. and any ship containing monoma is gonna be spicy as hell, so there’s that. i just really like their dynamic a whole lot more than shinkami. lots more drama potential.

Something about two dramatic / opinionated ass people who are both complete menaces but also super supportive of their friends and teams is so fucking tasty to me.

Monoma insulted Katsuki and Izuku unlocked Blackwhip as a response.

Now if I may remind you, your quirk factor doesn't evolve just like that. It needs a powerful trigger for the simple reason that most quirks, as they originally are at birth, already have some counter effects. Endeavor overheats, Ochako gets nauseous, Momo consumes a lot of calories and energy... to sum up, quirks can be a burden and so only get stronger if necessary (apart from them getting stronger with each generation). Of course, through regular training but it has its limits. Once that limit reaches, you're supposed to be at your best and most powerful form. But if the characters are faced with a life or death situation, quirks can evolve and obtain new feature in an attempt to survive. Against his deadly fight against Shigaraki, Katsuki was suddenly able to produce explosions from every parts of his body and not just his palms anymore.

To come back to Izuku, he has one for all. Despite Shigaraki and All For One, no one is a menace to him. He very easily overpoweres every character of his verse. It's a power cultivated for a century or more, so Monoma is absolutely not a threat to Izuku.

Yet you're telling me the moment he insulted Katsuki, Izuku got so mad that he got a new quirk?? Bro 5% of your quirk would've been enough to restrain him you really didn't need a quirk evolution like that,

Oh boy I have SO many Headcanons. In a. Deeply ironic turn of events, 1/2 of the existing fics directly contradicts one of them. (The headcanon in the fic is that Monoma is a menace in the kitchen, Shinsou is the chef, and Tokoyami is painfully mid. MY headcanon swaps Shinsou and Monoma…)

I think they would be extremely melodramatic. Tokoyami’s gothness + Monoma’s flair for the dramatic + Shinsou’s low effort punk vibe = What Unforgiving Alternative Fashion Loving God Allowed This To Happen.

Idk, I have a lot of thoughts and they are incomprehensible with how late it is for me rn. I think all of them are deeply insecure tbh. They all have quirks that could be seen as villainous and responded “well alright I’m going to embrace the eccentric” or “fuck you, I decide what I can be” or both. Smth sweet to me about like.. seeing the traits you hate about yourself as positives in another person. (Also, Monoma being an extrovert who adopted two introverts and made friends with Dark Shadow along the way)

Like. Monoma and Shinsou are cute and lowkey toxic (but like, in a fun way lol 💀) but I feel like Tokoyami manages to mellow them out i guess?? All three of them are able to be the straight man to the other two’s chaos, in a comedic sense.

I like your headcanon more for that one. When you say "menace in the kitchen" I'm assuming you mean that he's really bad at cooking, and idk, Shinsou doesn't seem like the kind of dude who's knowledgeable on how to cook anything (minus making instant ramen and being able to chop some vegetables). I think he just wouldn't care. I can, however, see Monoma stepping up to do the cooking

Shinsou shouting from across the room: "Hey! What colour should I wear, grey-black or navy-black?"

now that ive sorta fleshed out yasuo and neito's dynamic more i think my hcs on neito as a kid are shifting..... i think he was. more of a menace. monoma has always given me the same energy as calvin from calvin and hobbes. "I always loved that Calvin was just bad. He isn't stupid like the other bad kids, he is just misbehaved and knows it." i think thats him.

i think a lot of people forget that first and foremost despite his dramatics and posturing monoma is just an impish teenager. like hes a menace but theres a certain level of childish pettiness and small scale to his antics thats vital to making sure you arent crossing the line from monoma to like, Lucius. he has the same kind of day to day life as any of his peers, the same kinds of interests, the same worries, etc. hes just kind of weird and has poor impulse control and a little too smart for his own good. theres a balance there
