Dates with him are simple and nature based, which include walks that have you both talking about anything and everything. He likes the sound of your voice, so you'll do most of the talking. If you say that you like the sound of his voice, then he'll take all day.

He loves when you give him pats and scratches, especially after a fight. It's like a s-tier reward for him. He did good and he deserves this. Though, it'll have to be when you two are alone, since he doesn't like showing his soft side to anyone other than you.

Sometimes you'll have a picnic and snack on fruits you've both gathered, making it a competition every once in a while. It's more so to enjoy each other's company, away from the others. Sometimes he wishes he had money to get you something, but you always tell him that you're happy simply being by his side.

If you're on the journey with him and the town you all rest at has a festival going on, he'll take you there as a date. Should it be after the journey, he'll take you into town to watch a puppet show or shadow play, or maybe take you to eat a new place that you've been eyeing. Don't ask him how he gets the money though.

In general though, he's not used to affection, and it takes a bit of time for him to accept it. But as time goes by, he'll have no shame pulling you to his side, holding your hand, etc.

He loves kissing you anywhere and everywhere, but his favorite spot to kiss you is your face. The entire thing. Your lips are his favorite, but forehead kisses seem to help ground you, so he does it often. His favorite spot for you to kiss is his forehead. Sometimes it helps him forget about the golden fillet on his head, and it soothes him.

He loves cuddling with you, as your body is "soft, plush and made for cuddles". Loves how you've got some meat to you since he doesn't have to worry as much about crushing you in his hugs. In his own goofy way, he'll always compliment your physique and how no one else can replace you.

If you can sing, hum a little lullaby for him. Has him falling asleep in no time, and he can't go to sleep without it. If you can draw, he'll pose for you and look at it later, admiring your skills. If you can write, he'll ask you to jot down his battles. Be warned though, if you write poems about him, he WILL find and read them.

Getting sick will result in him being much more protective, and he refuses to leave your side, lest it be for water, food or medicine. He'll sleep by your side, no if ands or buts! If HE were to get sick, he'll become more clingy. He'll want you to lay beside him 24/7, feed him, basically pamper him. It's cute, but for him, it's a bit embarrassing and he'll act as if it never happened.

If he's ever mad or so deep in his battle, simply hearing you call his name will be enough to snap him out of it. If THAT, for whatever reason doesn't get through to him, you'll have to go up to him and hold his hand. That will ALWAYS get him to snap back into reality.

Sometimes, you'll both stay up, looking at the sky and pointing at the stars, leaned against each other and enjoying the silence. It's one of the peaceful moments you have together, and it's sacred at this point.

Cheering for him literally boosts his ego up 100 times. He knows many fear him. and that boosts his ego, but when he hears you excitedly calling out for him, telling him words of encouragement, he's finishing up the battle REAL quick so he can get his pats.

He doesn't get everything right, but I promise you that he's doing his best. Compliments are a bit hard for him to do, since he only knows how to do so when it come to fights, but he gets better with time.

Opening up is something he's afraid to do at first. He doesn't want to seem weak and frail. He's Sun Wukong! THE Monkey King! He shouldn't HAVE any weaknesses. It takes a little while, but with your constant support and reassurance that emotions ARE NOT weak, he'll open up to you.

He knows you won't tell anyone, but he makes you promise not to tell a single soul. You never take it to heart and always keep your promise. You're just happy that he trusts you with his heart, as you know you can trust him with yours.

And if you should ever want to open up to him, he'll listen and try to give advice, even if it's a bit blunt or out of reach. He doesn't do emotional or mental talks well, as it's a bit out of his comfort zone. He's trying his best, and he hopes you know that.

For you, he'll go to the moon and back, he'll go to the Underworld or Celestial Realm- Doesn't matter to him. He'll do whatever he can for you. You've given him so much of your time, your love, your life to him. He just wants you to see how much you mean to him.

It doesn't take much to get Sun Wukong angry; especially when you're the target of discussion. He's overprotective and very possessive over you, it's to be expected, you are his baby after all. He wants to make sure you're looked after, protected and cared for; most importantly know that you're cared for. However, today’s anger wasn't just like every other day mad… no, no, today you were the target of his anger, and obviously you knew better than to take his shit sitting down. 

Now, granted, you'd agree that the situation you had gotten into was your fault, and you already felt bad that you put everyone else in danger… It wasn't really your fault that the jaguar demon thought it was a good idea to mess with you because he thought you were a ‘weak and defenseless little pork thing’. 

You had to admit that it triggered you a lot, it really hit home and maybe something might have been said about him being a leopard wanna be that he… didn't take kindly to and tried to attack you before Wukong set him right. Yes, your boyfriend beat the shit outta him and sent him running. It's just that Wukong snapping at you like he did afterwards was the last thing you needed.

“Look, I get that-” you started, but he cut you off.

“I knew this would happen,” he chuckled and shook his head. You could clearly tell that that chuckle wasn't a humorous one, but one that warned he was losing it. However, his statement confused you, and you narrowed your eyes on him.

What did he mean he ‘knew this would happen’?

“What? What do you mean you knew it would happen?” you questioned him, though in your gut, you could tell that was where you really messed up. 

“I knew this would happen,” he repeated, this time looking at you with that glare that he had never shot you before. “You never do anything right! You always have to find some way, shape, or form to say or do something that pisses off something bigger and stronger than you. Then I’m always the one who has to come save you because you keep screwing things up and getting yourself into unnecessary trouble! For once in your life can you just do as you're told and stay where I can see you?!”

“Not once have I ever asked you to do anything of the sort for me… but since I'm such a burden to you,” you clenched your fists and lowered your head a bit. “I’ll just leave, then!” you yelled before you stormed off away from him.

“Shit…” he grumbled as he watched you walk away from him. The sight immediately sobering him up from his previous rage. “(Y/n), wait!” but… you were gone. You may be thick and short, but you were fast.

Wukong continued to growl and grumble curses as he paced up and down. Him and his big mouth! How could he say that to you? He's such a knucklehead. He tried his best to get his emotions in check, but the thought of you being mad at him was just pissing him off more. He sat against a boulder, staring out at the cliff view with an intense glare, as if the view was to blame for him getting mad in the first place. He'd put himself in a temporary timeout so he could cool down before finding you. 

You yourself, well… you hated that the tears kept on falling no matter how many times you'd wiped them away. You knew Wukong didn't mean what he said to you, but that didn't mean that his words hurt any less. What made it hurt the worst was that he wasn't exactly wrong. You did have a tendency to get yourself and everyone else in danger, but it wasn't like you did it on purpose!

Hearing Wujing unlikely or Pigsy more likely say that wouldn't have hurt as much, but hearing your boyfriend say something like that? It shattered you like the most fragile glass in the world. You had to admit, you didn't exactly handle his outburst any better. 

“Real mature, (Y/n)… storming off with your tail between your legs,” you grumbled to yourself as you finally found a spot and plopped down. “I'm such an idiot…”

The tears that filled your eyes and blurred your vision finally continued to fall like a waterfall. Salty tears that fell down your face and felt never-ending.

You don't know how much time really passed, but by the time you had decided to 

“There you are, where have you been?!” Pigsy was the first to chastise you with his fists on his hips, but he immediately shut up hearing Wukong growl at him. 

“Sorry I was gone so long,” you cursed internally when your voice broke.

“Are you alright?” Tang was the first to ask, never really showing it, but you could tell he was a bit worried about you.

“I'm fine, just a bit tired. I guess I fell asleep after my walk,” you lied through your teeth, though it was a lie that all but Wukong believed without question.

The Monkey King watched you walk over to sit by the fireplace at the centre of the camp. Meat dinner appeared to be a fish monster that you figured Wukong caught whilst he was out blowing off the rest of his steam, which was true. You knew him well. No matter how good the cooked fish smelled, you just didn't have an appetite and the thought of eating food made you feel sick.

You heard Wujing telling a story or talking about some legend as he always did, but you didn't pay attention and neither did Wukong. Your mind was somewhere not even you knew the location of, and Wukong’s attention was rotated from you to his meal then straight back to you. It hurt his heart knowing that he had hurt you in his rage, but it worried him even more seeing you hadn't touched any of the food. 

Once everyone finally decided to get some sleep, you and Wukong were left outside. 

“You're not eating,” he spoke. 

“Not hungry,” you said softly, but of course your stomach chose then to make the loudest protest that made Wukong huff through his nose in amusement.

“Yeah, I can tell,”

You wanted to smile or chuckle, but you surprisingly managed to keep to yourself. Without a word, Wukong sat beside you, an action that made your heart race every single time… this time was no exception. He gave you a bowl with the fish meat and bread, small but filling. The rumble in your stomach made him win, so you took the bowl with a soft ‘thank you’. His elbows on his knees as he leaned forward, his eyes were focused on the firewood as you ate quietly. 

“What’d that bastard say to you?” he glanced at you mid-bite of your toasted bread. When you told him, he was seething, but didn't bother to say anything else as you continued to eat.

He felt like a bigger fool than he did before. He knew he should have asked your side of the story, but he was just so pissed off that you almost got attacked that he wasn't thinking straight. 

“(Y/n)-” he started once you were finished and set the bowl aside. Just saying your name, you could tell he was desperate, something else that made your heart race.

“Don't bother,” you said softly, shaking your head a bit. “I know…”

“No,” he looked at you with anguish on his face as he sat on the floor, his hands held yours on your lap. He looked so pathetic and vulnerable, it broke your heart to see him like this. “I shouldn't have said that to you, I was out of line. What's worse, I hurt your feelings and made you cry,”

“Wukong-” your voice was soft, but he cut you off.

“I'm so sorry, Peach.” he pulled you onto his lap and nuzzled your shoulder and neck with his face, his fur tickling your skin. “I'm so so so sorry,”

“It's okay,” you couldn't help but smile at his behaviour. He continued to nuzzle you before he pulled you to straddle him, and he continued nuzzling and kissing your neck. You sighed heavily as sweat dropped from your forehead… You were stuck…

“Wukong-”

“No,” he immediately declined, holding you close to his chest, not willing to let you go. 

His right arm held you firmly against his chest while his left hand intertwined with yours, his thumb caressed your hand tenderly. You sighed once more. You fell into a trap… Now he won't be letting you go till he thinks you've forgiven him, even though you already have.

“I love you, you dummy,” you smiled and hugged his torso. 

“I love you so much more, peach,” he said softly and placed a kiss on your forehead.

You awoke to the noises of small squeaks and chirps along with the sounds of the morning breeze gently shaking the trees.

Reluctantly you slowly opened your eye not really wanting to get up only to be met with the curious stare of two baby monkeys.

Noticing you awake now the first monkey crawled closer to your face before gentle poking your cheek

Laughing a little seemingly finding this amusing with a hand motion gesture to the other monkey to come join in on this playful poking session of your face

Giggling you finally get up gently setting the monkeys down off the bed before throwing your legs over allowing your feet to meet on the cold floor.

Getting up you stretch your back before walking out of your room with the monkeys following closely behind.

Walking out of your small house you decided a good morning walk would be best for you.

The island you lived on was truly beautiful. Soft green grass, big trees as far as the eye could see, graceful exotic birds of many colors, and a bright clear blue sky to top it all.

Finally reaching your favorite resting spot you stop to take in the view. It was a cliff side with a big peach tree adorned with many thick branches and vines.

Walking a little closer you can’t help but feel at peace here as if nothing can harm you or disturbed your morning relaxation.

Hearing footsteps you don’t bother turning around already knowing who it is but you still can’t help the smile growing on your face.

Feeling the presence behind you now as a pair of hands rest on your swollen stomach you could definitely feel your smile widen.

“I’m alright I just wanted some morning air.”

“Fine. Next time just call me when you wake up so I can make sure your safe.”

Ever since you've gotten pregnant Wukong hasn’t let you do a single thing. A single chore. He does it all. The cooking, cleaning, laundry, etc. He even started bathing you after a while! And he’ll give your and earful if he sees your trying to lift or do anything. He will pamper you damnit!

It wasn't long before you were due and when your water broke he panicked.

Not knowing what to do he quickly brought you to a village with lots of women to help you through your labor.

Seeing you go through so much pain made him feel useless but he made sure to hold your hand the whole time never leaving your side.

After the grueling pains of childbirth, you were met with the crys of a newborn baby. In your hands you were holding a beautiful little (girl/boy) with fur just like (his/her) father.

Handing (her/him) over to Wukong you noticed the tears in his eyes as your baby (girl/boy) stoped crying and stared at him before smiling and giggling a little.

Reaching with (her/his) chubby little hands up and grabbing Wukong face he smiled and laughed a little.

Just some headcanons that I wrote way last year that I never got around to posting. Oops-

So-👀 My little dumb brain is like-what if, in the movie, since Sandy has his knowledge, Wukong is the muscle and speed and Tripitaka is the center of the group-Why not have a healer/protector?

You, a seemingly normal child, who was bullied for their weight and told that you'd never make it anywhere, awaken your powers when helping a merchant passing by your village. They got hurt, and with your caring nature and panic at the moment, awakened the power within you. People in your village raved about you, sweeping all the bullying and harassment they did to you under the rug and begging for your help.

You agreed for a price. After all, in this cruel world, you only had yourself. Very quickly, people got greedy and even wanted to marry you off since your children had the chance to inherent your powers, which disgusted you. At one point, you just got up and left, never wanting to return. These people weren't savable, nor did you want to help them.

After leaving and wandering on your own, you meet the gang. Tang Sanzang, who had just started his journey and needed another human around, was happy to have you on board, ready to teach you what he knows. The bond you two build is one of siblings. He, the strict yet gullible brother, and you, the more realistic but still kind sibling.

Of course, you meet the others. Sandy, the cute and wholesome water demon. He'll tell you all about the books he has, from myths and stories to demon knowledge. It's adorable how invested he is, and he's happy that you listen. Nerdy friend + supportive bff. You also think it's cute when he's excited or shocked and a bubble leaves his mouth.

Pigsy, the perverted and cocky pig demon. Of course, he sees you and he's drooling. Trying to flirt but quickly getting rejected by you. Every once in a while, he pulls through, which you appreciate, but your relationship with him is aquantices at best.

And then, there's Wukong. He sees you and, like the other beings he's encountered, doesn't really notice you. I mean, you're different from all the women he's seen before his entrapment, being more curvy, and you've got a warm aura, but that's about it? He doesn't really get why you're traveling with them. You just seem...so defenseless? Weak? Way too kind to just be kind.

He's got his eye on you. Thinking that he's gonna catch you doing something bad and call you out. But as time goes by, he realizes that you're...just a nice person, much to his shock. You never ask for anything in return, and you're always happy to help them out.

Let's say that he takes an interest, say when you use your powers. Whether to protect him from an attack with your barriers or when you heal a bad wound of his. He hasn't seen many with your abilities, what with everyone usually just fighting it out. It's a bit interesting, but he still thinks you could learn some self defense.

If they know about your powers, you keep a greater distance from them. It baffles him because you're on good terms with everyone on the team.

When you tell him about your past, since he's a nosy motherfucker, he starts to understand WHY. People have taken advantage of your powers, your kindness and belief that not everyone will use you, but you've pretty much been proven wrong. So when you say that you're thankful to have met them, and that they're the closest thing you've ever had to friends, he's...touched. The fact that you consider him a friend and never try to hide it makes him feel...less alone in the world.

If he ever finds out about the bullying and the people who did it, especially because of your weight, he'll keep it in his mind for later. In battle, you two become an absolute unit. You heal, he takes care of the enemies and you defend each other. He really likes the synergy you've built, like you can read each other's movements and just...flow with one another. He knows that if anything, you'll have his back, like he'll have yours.

When he compliments you, you know you're getting closer. He doesn't compliment just anyone, and is only directed that those he REALLY cares about. He'll unknowingly get soft for you, sitting a bit closer, sharing some of his water or food, keeping a closer eye on you in case danger appeared. It isn't until one of the members, maybe Sha Wujing or Zhu Bajie point it out, that he actually starts to think about it. My man starts going through the stages of grief.

Denial is his strongest stage. Why!? He's Sun Wukong! The strongest demon to exist! He doesn't need love! Then he'll start getting angry at himself for getting "soft". He's a demon for heaven's sake! He doesn't FEEL! At one point, he'll start bargaining with himself about how maybe it's the QUALITIES you hold.

The depression be hitting hard when he finds out it's YOU he likes. Don't get him wrong! It's not that there's anything wrong with you, it's just-he's used to being alone. He's never loved anyone, especially like this! Love is seen as a weakness, and now that he WAS IN LOVE-He was worried. He was scared for you-Not that he'd ever admit it. It doesn't help that he's immortal and you're not. Eventually, he half-accepts it. He just needs to be 1000% sure.

When y'all arrive at the Temple and he finds out about the manfruit-Say goodbye to your human years, cause you're gonna eat it. No ifs, ands or buts. He'll feed it to you if he has to. Don't test him. He's not taking no for an answer. In his mind, he's accepted that he enjoys your company, mainly because you take his side and you're literally the light of his life. He still doesn't want to admit how soft he's gone for you. He's such a tsundere I swear to god-

He spent all this time making sure, and now that he's accepted it, he's giving you his heart! Not just anyone can do that! It just proves how special you are! Wukong definitely understand the circlet, but he sympathizes with you more because unlike him, he can use all of his powers freely, while you can't. He asks for the name of all the Celestials who put the damned item on you and won't give up until he gets names. He wants to avenge you.

They immediately notice your ADHD, what with your constant movement and short attention span. They’re usually able to get you back on track and calm you down. They'll also help you with reminding you about things you need to do or get.

The Anxiety gets better with them, but Wukong and the others usually step in to talk. They are a bit confused. Talking to people is easy, but they understand to a degree. It makes you uncomfortable, so they won't push you to do it, but if you ask for help in talking to others, they'll be glad to assist.

You’re still somewhat strong, so anyone who judges you can get a good hit or two from you. Wukong will still jump in and stomp them in for daring to insult/attack him.

He becomes more protective as time goes by. He’s come to care a great deal about you, and you’re too interesting to let go. He can never tell what you’re going to next, and it excites him. The same goes for you, never knowing what he's gonna do, the cheeky remarks he makes.

No matter how much he’s tried to protect you, shelter you, stand by you… the events of that day haunt him far too much, and it’s never enough. If he doesn't have you in his arms or be touching you in some way, shape or form, his paranoia tells his brain that you’re in danger. He didn't know who hurt you during that Heavenly Fight that led to his imprisonment, but he did know that it had messed him up bad. He would never forget how he last saw you and how he spent centuries thinking of when or if he would ever see you again.

Ever since he found you, he hasn't left your side, let you near sharp things, or let anyone suspicious come more than ten feet near you. He was so fucking careful, too fucking careful, so how could this have happened?! Wukong paced up and down the doorway of the room you were in. 

He was so careful, he made sure that you were protected and out of harm’s way, but even with all of it, you were still struck with a poisoned arrow. What made it worse, you only got struck by that arrow while protecting him. Now, he was on who knows how long of a panic attack while he and the others waited for you to wake up. 

The doctors said they did all that they could, but that wasn't enough for Wukong. He wanted you to wake up and scold him about being so hard on the workers, or tell him how worried you were. He just wanted to see your eyes open, he wanted you to smile and tell him you were okay even though you might be in a lot of pain. 

“Great Sage…?” he didn't even hear Liuer or notice the boy beside him. He definitely didn't notice that tears were falling from his eyes.

He was so worried about you, he couldn't lose you, not you, not again, especially not permanently. Anyone, but his beloved (Y/n). He wouldn't be the strong Monkey King if it weren't for your love and support. If it weren't for you, he would have never known love and what it was like to be truly appreciated.

“Wukong,” now that he heard. It's surprising how his head didn't snap off with how fast he whipped around to look at you. The relief and joy on his face shocked you, especially with the tears that continuously fell down his face. “Oh, Wuk-” he cut you off as he appeared before you and embraced you tightly, but not too tight. 

“I was so scared that I-” he couldn't even finish the sentence as he buried his face into your neck and sobbed. He was so, so happy that you were okay. He immediately picked you up bridal style and started to walk back into the room you woke up in. 

“Wha-” 

“You shouldn't be on your feet right now,” he said as he laid you down on the bed. 

“Wukong,” you sighed softly in defeat, letting him tuck you in, kiss your head and nose, and crawl into bed with you.

“If you ever think about doing something like that again… don't,” he held you in his arms. Things were going too fast, and you were honestly still trying to process he had picked you up, and you were on a bed. 

“Wukong,” you said, finally getting his attention.

“What is it? Do you want me to get the doctor?”

“My Wukong,” you smiled and held his face. “I'm okay, really,” you tried to comfort and ease him, but it did nothing to ease his worry as he kept you in his arms. 

“You're never leaving my side again,” he nuzzled your cheek and jaw. 

“Yes, sir,” you snickered a bit, “can you stop? That tickles.”

“Too bad,” he smiled as he intertwined his fingers with your and gave it a reassuring squeeze.

“Shouldn't you get the doctor?”

“I sent Liuer to get him,” he brushed you off. It wasn't a full lie, he made a motion for the boy to get the doctor, but whether he understood the non-verbal message or not was to be determined.

Thankfully, he did. The check-up was spent with your Wukong sitting beside you, eyes narrowing and glaring at the doctor whenever he made you wince or flinch.

“Hey, be careful!” he would scold the doctor with a snarl. Of course, it would make the poor guy flinch as well every time, continuously apologizing to you despite your efforts to assure them both that you were okay. You placed your free hand on Wukong’s and caressed it with your thumb as you leaned into him a bit. 

“My love, let the man do his job,” you smiled and placed your head against his shoulder.

“He’s hurting you more,” he looked at you as the doctor finished and stepped away from you two… as far as he could for his own sake.

“Your vitals all seem to be stable. With enough rest, you will make a steady recovery.”

“Thank you,” you smiled and looked up at Wukong as the doctor left you to rest. Your Monkey King, whose worry lines could be written on, looked at you as if it were the first time he’d met a goddess of beauty. “See? I'm alright.” 

It wasn't your words that brought him a sense of peace, it was that smile. That same smile that made his day much much much brighter… the same one he thought he'd never see again.

“I am sorry,” he placed a kiss on your temple. 

“Don't be,” you smiled a bit more at him, pulling him down by his clothes to kiss his cheek.

“Let’s get some rest, okay?” he said softly as he pulled you to lay down beside him.

Your body hurt a lot, but not as much as it did when you woke up. Something you guessed had to do with what the doctor gave you before he had started the more detailed vital assessment. However, with Wukong’s arms holding you close to his warm body, you not only felt comfortable, you felt safe.

He knows the water demon won't do anything to harm/make you uncomfortable. He even took up medicinal knowledge should you need anything.

He was missing out on his cuddles, and that's something no one should ever mess with.

So when morning came, he got up and headed straight to your location, where your plush body was hiding whatever you were fiddling with. As soon as you heard the rustling of leaves, you turned around, a smile appearing when you saw who it was.

"There you are!"

You stood up and walked towards him, holding something behind your back.

Finally!

After a long walk, the group had decided to take a long needed break. Sha Wujing was setting the camp up and Tang Sanzang was meditating, while Zhu Bajie and Wukong had gone to get food.

Meanwhile, you were tasked with getting some firewood, which you had just finished.

So now, you were sitting under the shade of a large tree, drawing the one and only Sun Wukong.

That grumpy monkey, always making you feel such strong emotions. From happiness, to anger, to sadness. He just seemed to become the center of your world.

He made you feel like you were the only girl that mattered in his life, and he never judged you for your appearance.

Maybe that's why you began to draw him so much?

To help alleviate and pour your feelings into something?

You knew that Wukong wasn't one to worry nor care about love, always calling it useless, unnecessary or even weak.

It hurt to hear him say it over and over again, but even so, you were happy to be by his side.

Maybe one day you'd be able to get over your feelings.

With a sad hum, you looked over the page, unaware of the newcomer.

"Drawing again, are we Princess?"

Your hands quickly pulled the sketchbook towards your chest, hoping that the being in question hadn't seen the drawing.

Said monkey turned his attention to you, only for it to quickly go back to your sketchbook.

You shrieked when he began flipping through.

He had always been curious about what you drew, since you never showed anybody. You would always get embarrassed when someone asked to see it, always downplaying your skills. But looking at it all, he knew he was right.

It was all beautiful.

Everything was drawn so well, with details and shading making it look much more realistic.

Especially his portraits.

Seeing how much more detail went into his drawings made his ego shoot up.

He WAS the best looking one of the group.

As he continued to look through the book, you were scrambling up the tree.

It was cute.

You're the only one who truly gets him, and him you. It's always been the two of you against the world. Of course, you have your monkey companions on the mountain, but it's not the same.

You would go everywhere together and do everything together. No one could separate the two of you, and if they tried... Well, you can ask Wukong's other victims.

He rarely scolds you, but when he does, he makes it known that you shouldn't do it again. The world's dangerous, and he knows he's strong enough to kick ass, but if anything were to happen to you, he'd flip.

He's not letting ANYONE push you around, and he's not afraid to dish out a couple of punches to get his point across. You always have to calm him down, but you understand that he's just trying his best to protect you.

You're not as strong as him, deciding to become the strategizer of the two and work with medicines to help heal faster. Your not weak by any means, but definitely not as strong as Wukong. Muscles isn't everything.

You fight like any siblings would, not as often, but when you did(caused by Wukong most of the time), you'd both ignore each other until one of you(usually Wukong) would apologize and get back to sibling shenanigans.

When you're upset and scold him, he knows you're doing it with the intention of helping him see the error of his ways. To help him grow. Too bad the whole Celestial thing happened.

Although mad, you're there for him while he's trapped, always trying to find a way to release him while juggling the responsibilities of taking care of your monkey friends and island, but you can't find a way.

You're a bit peeved at Tang Sanzang when he's able to release Wukong, and he makes it known that Guanyin told him that Wukong would help him. Of course, the two of you don't want to, but y'know the deal  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Being forced to travel with the monk wasn't fun either, especially when he's threatening your brother with the circlet. If anything, it added to your anger, but you eventually come to a consensus to not kill him unless he does to compromise your brother's safety and health.

You definitely butt heads with Zhu Bajie, always calling his shit out and always ready to punch his lights out. But the pig demon progressively stops bothering the two of you, with Wukong threatening him.

Meanwhile, you and Sha Wujing get along pretty well. You help him with carrying the stuff and listen to his ramblings about his knowledge of demons. The both of you are just trying your best during the journey.

Lots of demons know not to mess with you, since they've heard tales of what happens to those who try. But some, of course, don't head the warning and go after you, with death awaiting them.

Wukong's protective and a bit too much at times, but you know it's because he cares. He's emotionally constipated, but genuinely tries his best. You've been through a lot together, and always pull through together.

You happened to hear them yelling about the sudden change in weather and seeing them trying to find shelter. So, being the kind demon you were, you called out to them and offered them a place in your home. They decide to take it, but are very wary of you, other than Tang Sanzang, who's thankful. You allow them to stay however long they need to, since your home has plenty of room along with the rain seeking to stay for a while. The monk accepts, much to the displeasure of Sun Wukong.

While Zhu Bajie's already fawning over you and Sha Wujing trusts the monk judgement, this grumpy monkey is the only one with common sense to be wary. He's shown to be the most cautious, so of course, he's gonna keep a close eye on you. While picking rooms and clothes for them, he's checking for anything dangerous, but finds nothing so far.

During lunch, he notices that you've got plenty of food that specifically pertains to them and Tang Sanzang, so he questions you. You explain that there's been a lot of monks and non-meat eaters heading your way, so you had other food in advance. Wukong not so subtly asks about the Golden Cicada, but you tell them that you're not into fighting or immortality, but instead, wished to live a nice, tranquil life.

Of course, Monkey King SLOWLY warms up to you. He's had demons go so far just to be able to trick them and kidnap their master, so he'll be extra guarded! Until he sees that...not once have you taken the time to get Tang Sanzang alone or spin a 'woe is me' tale to make them feel bad for you. You're just vibing and doing your own thing, tending to your little fruit and veggie garden, doing your own hobbies, helping the others out when they need it.

Your "disgustingly" as Monkey King would put it kind personality helps your case. Not once has he seen you blow up at anyone, and you always speak in such a calm and soft manner. Always willing to lend a hand and help someone out. Even to him, the being who didn't trust you- It was a weird feeling to him. Your kindness being directed towards him made him feel...warm.

And it isn't until after his initial weariness that he notices how tall you are. Like, yeah, demons are usually taller than humans, but you're...really tall. No wonder the roof seemed higher than usual. And because of the house structure, people usually ask you to get something from a higher shelf, which you're happy to help with. Zhu Bajie does it the most, and it urks the monkey more than he'd like it to.

Seeing that, Wukong finally accepts that, okay, you're not a bad demon, and watching you take care of him and the others has you falling in his good graces. You complimenting his skills also boosts his ego, much to the chagrin to Zhu Bajie, and then they're both showing off. Off course, Tang Sanzang apologizes, but you're happy to have them around.

Let's say that another demon ends up staying at your home, and finds out about Tang Sanzang. They're quick to devise a plan and ambush the monk, but you're there to rescue him, and boy do you look pissed. You've got your hand around their neck, staring them down before telling them to "Get out of my house." And Wukong's just kinda like- 👁👄👁 That was kinda hot-

You're apologizing over and over to the monk, becoming soft spoken and shy once again, but he's quick to accept your apology. Sha Wujing is quick to ask about your switch, and you simply state that "I said I didn't WANT to fight, but I never said I didn't know HOW to. I just don't like using violence, especially when it unnecessary." You've officially won the monk over. Finally! Someone who understands that violence isn't everything!

Wukong, on the other hand, wants to see more. He's prodding for you to train with him, and after a little while, you give in. It's a daily thing becomes something he looks forward to. Sometimes it turns into rants on how annoying Zhu Bajie can be and how he has to carry the whole team, with you giving him pieces of advice.

He'll start following you around-Heck! He'll even help you out, but it's mainly so you can compliment him. Of course, Zhu Bajie notices and teases the poor monkey about how soft he's gone. He's going to deny it each and everytime, making excuses that you we're bored without him or that you NEEDED his help. It causes so many fights between the two.

He'll start to wonder how you'll react when they leave. Will you be sad? Will you cry? Will you be sad for everyone leaving? Or will those tears be just for him? He's not really sure how you feel about him, but he's sure you're smitten with him. What, with the way you look at him and blush in his presence-

And he's absolutely right! A lot of people would be mad at him for interrogating them, but you knew he was just trying to protect the monk. And he started becoming nicer to you, helping you out, even talking to you for long periods of time! His attractive voice and quick touches has you melting each and every time.

You become upset, knowing that he'll have to leave as soon as the rain let's up. You wished that you could go and run off with him, but you had to stay take care of your home. Of course, the others were nice company too! But Wukong was different... You both spent the most time together, getting to know one another... Even so, you had to send them off with a smile! No tears when they leave!

So when the rain stops and allows them the chance to continue their journey, you expect a simple goodbye. But Wukong comes up to you and states that he's gonna come back for you, so you'll have to be here when he arrives. You're shocked, but welcome his words with happy tears. "Just be sure to come back safe and sound. That's all I ask." And with that promise, he goes off, hoping to finish the journey quicker so he can come back and see you.

So, being a werewolf demon has positives and negatives, but you just try to live a normal life and enjoy each day that comes by. Of course people feared you, regardless of your kindness, so you decided to do your own thing and help when you could during your travels. Eventually, tales of your adventures had led people to see you as a good demon.

It was just one day that you stumbled upon an old lady who just so happen to recognize you. And as you finish helping her, you hear small chatter a bit away. You say goodbye and head to the noise, seeing other people run/hide from the source. You see Tang Sanzang and his disciples being ambushed by a group of men.

The men take notice of you and mock you, and Tang Sanzang, being the man he is, tries to persuade everyone to chill. But when the men don't step down, you decide to help out, much to the worry of the monk, but you tell him not to. And with that, you take care of them, without killing them, and make sure the monk is alright.

The fact that you didn't kill them surprises the monk, but he's extremely happy that there was no bloodshed. His disciples, on the other hand, are weary, and check to see that, yeah, the humans are still alive but just unconscious. Sha Wujing is the one to notice you, exclaiming how "He's the werewolf who's always helping people!" And through that little convenience, you somehow joined their little group.

At first, they're a bit stunned by how caring and worried you are for them. How you're always defending and protecting them. Always volunteering to gather supplies, food, etc. Demons are said to not have souls, they don't feel. They fight each other, whether it be for survival or just for the heck of it-So you being kind and helpful is new to them.

Sha Wujing is the first to consider you a friend, and the two of you go over his book about demons and stories, it's so cute. You're always helping him carry stuff during the walk, so it's a lot less work for him. Zhu Bajie is the second to befriend you and tells you all sorts of stories from his old days of being a general. The fact that you actually listens boosts his ego, but Wukong usually shuts it down.

Sun Wukong, on the other hand, was definitely a little harder to persuade. He was always watching you with a scornful eye, waiting for you to betray them. He would even accuse you of petty things, with the others scolding him about it, but you never took it to heart nor did you blame him. It made him feel a bit angry at himself, but eventually, he apologized in the Wukong way and you accepted it. Soon after, the two of you became the closest in the group.

Tang Sanzang appreciates you SO much, since you don't rush into battle like his disciples ahem Sun Wukong ahem. Much like him, you'll try to persuade the enemy to leave or negotiate some kind of peaceful route. You only fight when absolutely necessary, citing that violence isn't always the answer.

Nobody in the group fears you since you're so kind to them and they trust you. You're like their innocent, little brother. But when you get mad, they pray for whoever pissed you off. Now, if it IS one of the members in the group, it's THEIR turn to try and talk things out with you. "Is he feeling better now? He's not angry with me anymore?" "Yeah, he's just a bit grumpy right now. Give him some time to cool down."

You eventually become the heart of the group, keeping them tied together and keeping the mood light. You're also good at sorting out their situations, someone that they can go to to rant about their problems or ask for advice. They always thank you in the end, glad to have you with them on their journey.

And they try to return the favor, such as defending you when people get on your case, or when a demon tries to pick a fight with you. They'll try to give you advice for your problems, and though it's a bit too wild, you appreciate how they're trying for you. You'll always remember these precious times with them.
