This is an AU blog about The Decade Of Joy AU

In this AU, instead of killing off all of the scientist and carrying them to the lower levels of the building, The Prototype instead decides to give them a taste of their own medicine and switches the roles of Toys and Scientist. Now, Scientist are experimented on and are forced to do whatever the Toys say while Toys now work in different parts of the building with their main goal being to have all the orphans be adopted.(by the way, in this AU all the toys are adults though have moments of bein incredibly immature or childish due to not being able to properly develop.)

As more and more people come to adopt a child, the Toys are thrown more and more questions. “where are the adults?” “Is that a costume?” “What is that?”

There are Four Leaders in this AU who follow the Prototype’s orders. All four of them having their own Second-In-Command.

Au Idea: instead of the hour of joy being a humongous massacre. It was when the government finds out about what play co was doing an decided to shut down the whole facility and left the toys and kids (they also used the fact that they are still keeping the orphanage operating for publicity) and the toys have full rain of the place and both the kids and toys built a strong relationship to the point that they consider themselves as family and the prototype is the dad of hundreds of kids and toys (ocs are welcome)

It’s more about domestic fluff than anything else

Can you give a brief summary of what your AU is?

False God's Limbo is an AU in this near monochromatic, corrupted version of a cartoon world resembling the tapes in the Smiling Critters Show and other Playtime Co. advertisements.

At first, it is easy to assume that it's the afterlife, a toy afterlife but the truth is that it isn't exactly an afterlife world rather those who have been absorbed by the Prototype(the False God)end up here as several minds melted into this dream-like limbo where they can't escape. They cannot die but feel pain, some can grow hungry but none can starve to death, etc. Hopefully, you didn't make too many enemies while in the factory as it is now way easier to get jumped, tortured, or fought with since death isn't seen as a possibility for most, they have all the chances they get for any revenge or bloodlust they crave.

However, the limbo itself has a few additional quirks. A decent number of toys possess something they call a "Mirror," which are dark reflection of the toy's mind and trauma that works similarly to things like Stands...or rather like Anti-Stands, as they can hurt or negatively impact the user. Their creation solely depends on the emotional state, trauma, guilt, grief, or any other negativity the toy is attached to, and they could be used defensively, offensively, or against one's self if the toy is unlucky. The Mirrors tend to vary in their uses, abilities, purposes, or how they impact the user.

Additional quirks of the limbo could include random objects that certain toys are attached to from the factory such as the labcoat and raincoat that Catnap and Baba Chops have. Certain homes like Dogday's cartoon house or the Safe Haven location appear randomly throughout the world like they manifested themselves from the memory of the toys that once inhabited those places. As well as the possibility of monsters the limbo itself creates that the toys have to deal with that can range from what they are, how they appear, and how dangerous it is.

Characters appear in their cartoon-like forms but depending on the individual from the factory, it could distort the appearance as Doey(originally made up of three kids) is now three different Doey's all attached to each other but can be in separate bodies. Or perhaps, The Doctor, which the Limbo couldn't make a cartoon-like form for so the The Doctor became almost like a black cloud of scribbles that try to take shape into TV screens and hands. Don't worry, The Doctor is still growing.

Toys made officially present within the Limbo at the time of writing this: The BBi Smiling Critters, the Mini Critters(same size now as BBI Smiling Critters so now they have a fighting chance against their BBI counterparts), the Mini Nightmares, Baba Chops(pet of Sawyer), Yarnaby, Doeys(A, B, and C), Mommy Long Legs, Bunzo, PJ Pug, a lot of toys from Safe Haven, Boxy Boo, The Doctor, Miss Delight, any other mini toys the Prototype decided to absorb, etc.

95% of them have beef with one of the other toys especially between the conflict of the Prototype side and Poppy's side so violence, group formations, and unfortunate reunions are common to see.

Also Fun Fact: Theodore Grambell(Catnap) is the biggest Heretic Hater to exist(he doesn't know the proper meaning of heretic, he just considers anyone against the Prototype side a "heretic"). Some may say he's grown allergic to them to the point he is completely fine staying away from anyone at Safe Haven as he doesn't like any of them(neither does Yarnaby or Baba Chops or MLL or Boxy or...you get the point). Some may say it's sort of comedic...when Theo isn't hunting you down for it (he more or less doesn't care anymore as long as a heretic doesn't try fighting him...otherwise hands are up). There can always be exceptions though here and there.

Just don't lie...or attack other members.

TDOJ AU VOTING SYSTEM

In the story, the voting system is used when all four leaders all have an idea but can’t decide on which choice at a meeting

When this happens, other toys will be able to make a vote for which leader’s choice they think is the best.

There are four boxes for each leader. When a toy wants to make a vote, they simply grab a badge and walk to one corner of the room. For toys who don’t have hands, they can simply go over to the group they wish to go to. As for other toys who can’t do this such as..A.I. he’d be able to put one of the badges on his screen.

The Second-In-Commands get to have 2 votes due to their higher rankings.

The ONLY time the voting system isn’t allowed is when The Prototype is present because whatever choice HE makes is final.

IF the meeting requires working experiments, the experiments will ALSO be allowed to make a vote.
